Ajani H: The front desk Sarah is rude and inconsiderate I'm not sure why they hired her but when I'm trying to get my point across she is uncaring and doesn't seem to listen but thing's always work out in my favor anyway
Jericca Brown: Had to get away from this place. I’ve never seen Patel and that was supposed to be my Dr. asked like 3 times for my birth control to be changed and that never happened. I was paying 68 dollars for birth control, sent my prescription to the wrong place one time, didn’t even send it in one time. Came there for a pregnancy test and they were rude said it came out negative , few days later I find out I’m pregnant. So yeah I don’t recommend this place

Lakisha Soares: They are rude on the phone and in person. They canceled my appointment a few days before the day even though I waited months for the appointment. They told me they don’t know when they can reschedule. Very unprofessional.

Cindy Hensley: What do you think of a place that refuses to take you as a patient. Love my regular dr but wanted a second opinion, did the entire application process and I get a call that I’m rejected as her patient. So I ask why and they told me they don’t give reasons but her work load is bad?? I then said well then you shouldn’t be advertising that your taking patients including new ones….once again it’s all about the money….no one cares!!!!!
Beth Derrick: This was a wonderful place to take my parents until Dr. Logue retired. He was the absolute best. We are in the process of finding someone else. Dr. Chai is more negligent than helpful and his assistant doesn't need to work with the public. Her attitude is horrible!
Chelsea Patterson: I had an interview in August, was not selected for the MA position, I ended up finding another job, I was called by the office manager 3 months later now wanting to offer me the position that I was denied, I accepted the position and I put my notice in at my job..after being at VIM maybe a month or so I was fired due to leaving work early to pick up my SICK babies from the baby sitter.The staff was very nice and enjoyable the short time I lasted, however the office manager has no understanding. I was fired for leaving to pick up my sick babies from the baby sitter. Keep that in mind when applying at VIM.
Ulrike Jackson: Danielle the NP is very knowledgable and has good bedside manners. The "assistant" on the other hand needs training. She proceeded to give me my flue shot without wearing gloves. So, I questioned her about it. She got a little huffy, and said, she was trained not to wear gloves for this. Hello, nursing 101! Then, she gave me the injection without aspirating for blood. Is she even qualified to give injections? She rubbed the site after! Big NoNo! Please, hire qualified staff, or at least train them. Also, you don't have foam in foam out at your exam room doors. How do I know that her hands where clean? C'mon, you can do better!
Kathryn Perez: I absolutely love the care I receive from Dr. Tony Meeks and her assistant, Jessica. They are incredibly thorough - having checked many important health issues for me. They have been responsive through COVID and our need for repeated testing. I recommend Dr. Meeks and VI highly.
James Barry: Dr Vanswanath and his assistant Nurse Claire have taken very good care of me and my family.The whole team at Village Internal Medicine are the best.I would recommend this medical practice.

Savannah Kay: I just left and the doctor was in the room only 3 min. I was referred here but I will NOT be coming back. The nurse was wonderful and listened to me the doctor did not listen to my concerns and said he’ll do what he wants because he’s the surgeon. Talk about an ego. The nurse was in the room longer than the dr.
Tj Tretola: Dr. Solomon is my mother's and my Dr. He is awesome. He recently let his patients know that he will be opening his own practice. I will definitely be following him. I wish his nurse Denise would be following him as well but she has gone elsewhere due to the tension and other issues at the office. I have been trying for 2 months now to get another family member in as a new patient. I have talked to the nurses about it in person and have called several times. All I get is I will get Dr. Solomon's assistant to call you back. That call never comes. I am so frustrated with this dr's office right now. You can't trust anything they say anymore. Can wait for Dr. Solomon's office to open the end of June.

Jean Giannini: Needed pre-authorization for medical insurance to cover a med. No pre-authorization received by pharmacy after four requests over a period of seven days. Office staff was upset that I was very, very upset with this lack of action by their pre-authorization department. At this time of Covid-19 this is not acceptable. The medication was needed in a timely fashion and in the process of their lack of attention the medication was depleted. Stressful situation was accentuated by extremes due to this inactivity on their part. Looking at other reviews -- I expect that since I have complained my husband (who is in a critical care unit during this same timeframe) and I will be dropped from their practice. What a shame that they cannot help their patients or in the least be considerate or extra patient of the circumstances of their patients during an extremely stressful time!! I sincerely hope and pray that not one of them will ever suffer treatment in this way. In all other ways my husband and have been extremely satisfied with the care we have received from the Doctor and his Assistant.
Beth Ryan: My doctor retired. They told me 1 day before he retired. They can't tell me about who I will see except the new doctor. I would like to know about this person so I can research them. When ask what type of doctor is he they said good. I should have been sent a letter 30 days out telling me my doctor of many years was retiring and given the opportunity to look for a new doctor or research the doctor they have hired. If they don't want patients "jumping ship" then treat them with respect and let them decide if this is the doctor for them. I guess i will try this "new doctor" and if it's not a good fit I will be on the hunt for a new doctor. I will monitor this website so I can find out who they hired so I can research their background. The staff saying he came from CFVH is not necessarily a good recommendation. Very disappointed in how this was handled.
Danielle Vann: Do not go here !!!! The staff is rude ! Management is rude and they do not listen when you complain. I work in internal medicine as well and this was unprofessional from top to bottom. They have no respect for your time . If you are behind schedule , CALL THE PATIENT AND GIVE US A CHOICE TO RESCHEDULE . I missed out on money being here and didn’t even get seen due to staff being very unprofessional .
Pro Scott: Was a patient for a couple of years. I left my job to open my own business didnt have insurance any more so they said they couldn't help me when I walked in during walk in hours. I lost my insurance and my doctor apparently.Office manager looked annoyed that I was even in the office that day. "Go to an urgent care is what they said" could have told me that when I called that morning. Thanks

Receptionist couldn't assist me as I never checked a doctor to be seen. Nothing was ever mentioned about choising a doctor. So I will look elsewhere. Who wants to go to a medical facility that's doesn't have a clue! Glad I found out now instead of later.

So I left a message and 3 days later I finally got a call stating "We can't help you" Not that they were no longer taking new patients or etc..Just "We can't help you"..I cannot rate the doctor but there customer service is definately sucky. I can't help but wonder if it was my medical history that caused them to tell me they could not help

Matt Long: This clinic let me run out of medication you're supposed to taper off of because the nurse team won't call back and help fix the issue. It caused problems, and in 5 days they still haven't attempted to answer or respond to messages left.

Elena Del Castillo: Horrible!! I was referred by my health insurance, so I wasn't sure about this place because no information was provided so I called. The receptionist was very rude and had a nasty attitude. I asked questions about appointments and what services were provided and she was so rude. She kept telling me I couldn't make an appointment and when I asked why and when I would be able to make an appointment she insisted on telling me that they don't take new clients and I won't be able to be seen. I stated to her that I was referred by my health insurance, she became even more rude and stated "I suggest you have them remove us off your health insurance" with a very nasty attitude. I asked to speak to someone else who could help she hung up on me. Called back and what a surprise no answer. HORRIBLE!!

Velma Campbell: Dr. Patel has been my doctor for years and over the years I have seen staff leave. I always thought his office staff was great but the last two times I have came to my appointments the office staff is just disgusting and I feel badly for him not being able to get someone in his office that knows how to treat his patients with respect. He needs to get new front office staff that has respect for patients…
Theresa H: His workers are like bodyguards. They refuse to allow new patients. I have waited since May to get an appointment. They keep saying “you have to be approved”. It has been 3 months and every time I call, they promise to call me back and never do. This is the weirdest situation I’ve ever seen! Shakema told me she would call me back by close of business on 8/01/2022. She never called. Maybe this is for the best that I don’t see this doctor if his clinic is being run this way.

DANITA MCDONALD: My husband, son, father-in-law and myself have been long time patients of Dr. Patel. He is a compassionate doctor with excellent bedside manners. Dr. Patel explains everything with such clarity for us to fully understand. He expeditiously makes referrals and provides prescriptions as our needs arise. He will also make personal phone contacts to check on us when necessary. We highly recommend Dr. Pravin K. Patel as your primary care physician.
Clarissa Daly: I have been a patient of Dr. Patel for over a year. He is overall a nice man. He has always been kind especially to my children. Every appt he would bring them some kind of candy in to the room while we are waiting.My biggest complaint is when I don't feel like my health concerns are being taken seriously. I do not like the kind of Doctors that don't take my health concerns or symptoms I have seriously. If I have to make an appt just to get a referral to a specialist and then wait for over an hour to be seen just for my Dr to take 10 minutes with me just to dismiss my health concerns and my request for a referral is denied.That is not the kind of Dr I want caring for me. Why is it so hard to get your doctor to send over referrals nowadays? But yet, if you try to schedule an appt with a specialist on your own, the first thing they say is you need a referral from your primary Dr.

Devon Hester: My dad and I were patients of Dr. Patel and my dad originally had a minor physical issue, my dad's legs were weak. My dad continuously mentioned his loss of strength in his legs to Dr. Patel and was regularly dismissed without any recommendation to a specialist or examination. Eventually, my father fell in the bath tub because of new updates regarding his heart and a prior condition pertaining to it. Had Dr. Patel followed up with my Dad and his complaints, the surgery to his neck could of been prevented and would not be rehab now relearning the simplest of tasks.
Jacqueline Mceachern: As a retired R.N, I have worked with over 100 physicians, and elated to say Dr Pravin Patel is special. He truly cares for his patients, he leaves. No stone unturned, doing everything you expect from your provider with professionalism, empathy to meet all your concerns and needs. My husband and I have been his patients for over 14 years and trust him implicitly to provide us with the BEST OF CARE.

Blanca Díaz: I wish I could give him 0 stars. When I decided to switch providers my insurance provided a list of names and he was the closest to me so I chose him. Well, you have to submit an application and then he decides if he wants you as a patient. I submitted mine late May and I just called again today Jul 10, 2023 to check the status on my “application” and it is still in review. If my insurance or I am not good enough for him then at least let me know and don’t have me waiting forever. Now they have my medical records and I have to trust they are going to destroy them, because they are no longer authorized to have any information on me. I told them that, but they don’t seem to be very trustworthy “professionals” so I am a little worried. I am a nurse myself and this is not the way we treat people.

The doctor rescheduled many of my husband's appointments, but decided to terminate him as a patient without warning and refused to provide an explanation.
