Bill Hudon: Good program, keeps children engaged.
Tyirice Williams: Great gym great atmosphere

Shayla Drawdy: We’ve been going here for a few months and can’t say enough great things. My 4 year old son has Ms. Tori as his teacher and he loves her! She is absolutely fantastic and he truly looks forward to going to class every single week.
Kaitlyn Hibbard: Great BJJ gym in Fayetteville, NC! Provides classes for everyone in the family from ages 4+ with interactive and educated instructors.
Cale Hudson: The staff/team are wonderful. The provide a excellent environment for me and my son to train....
Roy Angel: I’ve been coming on Saturdays with David and Adonis they have been teaching me the fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu. The environment is welcoming and they have thought me a lot since I been there.
Mikhail Horst Gant: Thank you so much to Martial Arts of NC, and especially thanks to Dave and Adonis for giving me the opportunity to train together with them. I 100% recommend this Magnificent DOJO for its martial and professional ethics. I spent a magnificent and fruitful day. Thanks.
justin arcadio: Really a great place to learn the basics and fundamentals of BJJ. Everyone is down to earth and are very willing to help you out. Since I’m in the military, my work week schedule is very hectic, that’s why it was very convenient for me that they have Saturday classes. Dave and Adonis both ran the saturday class. They’re very patient, very understanding with my learning comprehension. I highly recommend coming in the Saturday class if you have a busy work week just like me.
Breydon Gagnon: Super professional, definitely recommend for anyone and everyone
Escanor: I’ve been at MANC for about 7 months, coming from a background of training in martial arts I can say the environment is welcoming and wholesome. My wife and I recently started going to the class on Saturday and training with the instructor that teaches on Saturday afternoon I’d recommend anyone with no formal background to train with us!
Tiffany Williams: Very helpful and encouraging instructors as well as classmates. I am timid, not very aggressive, nor athletic but have been practicing since August 2022. If I can show up and stick with it, you probably can too!
Nick Lazatin: Awesome facility and great teaching. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great gym to go to.
John Lozada: The instructors are great 👍. They will teach you everything you need to know for self defense.
Michael W.: I just moved here from Detroit a month ago for work and I was immediately in search of continuing my Jiu-Jitsu training. I’ve searched about 4 different places and came across Martial Arts of NC. Compared to the other nearby gyms, the instructor Jason is very personable, knowledgeable, has a great personality and makes you feel like family. Especially the students. You can tell a lot about a group of people by their leader. Everyone is friendly, patient and willing to help you. This place reminds me of my gym back at home! (Shouts out ELITE BJJ 🤙🏾).
Donut Best wide receiver: My child went here and he said it was fun they teach you well and they make sure you do it correctly because if does not they would sho him how to do it again but I moved but recommend coming here to learn how to fight
asdf asdf: This gym is fantastic! The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and make BJJ feel like it's a team sport. I've been attending adult classes for about eight months now, and I highly recommend this place to anybody interested in martial arts.
Mohammad Abdul Shabazz: I have studied martial arts and combatives over 5 Decades in 3 Different Continents. In the US. from Texas to New York. The Commitment and enthusiasm of this BJJ Family is built on a structure of professionalism and dedication Not only did it met my expectations but exceeded them. Thank you "Professor Jason" and staff for teaching a old dog some Amazing new Tricks
Hephzibah Bouriaque: 10/10 experience Suna was a very good instructor
Isaac Velazquez: 100 percent recommend. My first time ever going and everyone was so helpful and humble and just willing to teach. Marcus Was a great teacher as well! And the sensei was very Knowledgeable. This is the place to come.

ATEMI-RYU NC: what do users think?
Melinda Oakes: My son really looks forward to his classes. Thank you for all you do :)
james bain: great place to train.
Blake Norton: Amazing dojo! The instructors are very knowledgeable and are great at teaching.
Carlene Sharp: Staff ensure you work to your level or ability then encourage you to move forward. Atmosphere is open and family friendly. This is one of my few happy places in Fayetteville!
Jennifer Norton: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all that you have done for my children. They’ve been enrolled with you at Atemi-Ryu Jujitsu 2 years now and counting. During this time, I have watched them progress through different levels of jujitsu. Your ability to motivate the students is enviable. I have observed that this carried over into every aspect of their life. They put forth 100% in all they do whether it is academic or the sport. I respect you as an instructor. The courtesies that you portray before, during and after classes are not lost on your students. They emulate you in every day life. I appreciate the amount of patience and understanding that you show, especially with the younger students that need help. I thank you for the way in which you have built self-confidence in Blake and Kamryn. With each belt color they have matured and with that a feeling of self-esteem. Jujitsu is about self-control and defending yourself every day. I admire the way that you make the whole learning process fun and enjoyable. Thank you for being a role model for them. You are someone they genuinely respect and admire. At this dojo we are FAMILY! We are devoted to Atemi-Ryu Jujitsu and do not hesitate to recommend your dojo to all that inquire. Again, Thank you for your tireless efforts on behalf of my children!
David Caldera: Great place to learn traditional jujitsu and aikido with street applicable techniques that keep the art alive and current.
Kamryn Norton: Great self defense classes and even greater people!
Kevin Simmons: AWESOME seminar last weekend! Great teachers with diverse techniques all geared toward true self defense...not sport. It was great to have so many different Martial Artist to work with in one room. Grandmaster "Doc" did an excellent job of teaching techniques and it was great to have so many high level sensei's working those techniques with the attendees. It motivates me to continue on this journey of studying Martial Arts.

ZR Team Hope Mills: what do users think?
Tee Carr: My daughter loves it and and the teachers are awesome. Very inviting atmosphere.
Pre Trujillo: I’ve been thinking a while on how to convey my feelings about this gym fully, but it is just not possible. ZR Hope Mills is an amazing atmosphere for everyone in the family. Curtis does a wonderful job keeping a professional but friendly vibe to the place. Coach Barbara is an amazing human being that truly cares about her student’s growth. We had the opportunity to have private lessons by her and my children flourished under her watch. I also did the women’s class with Coach Barbara and Rebecca and they always encouraged me to keep going. They helped me become more physically fit and confident all the while learning techniques that I have never even seen before. The women’s Fight Fit class in the mornings is ran by Eleni and she is so fun to train under! Coach Lucas has fantastic bjj strategies and awesome lapel chokes. He always made my kids laugh and they knew they could always go to him if they needed help. Professor Estevan is such a kind person and an amazing athlete to train under. Everyone loves him and looks up to him. I would always see Prof. Estevan, Lucas, and Barbra walk around and help all of their students learn the technique and drill it properly so they could exceed. If you are looking for a gym, take a chance and check them out. I promise you won’t regret it because they simply are the best out there. We are so sad to be moving out of state but will always hold the memories we made here forever.
Samantha Edgecombe: Love the family oriented atmosphere. Helping my son gain confidence and having a good time while learning
David Lambright: Awesome place!!! Great family atmosphere and training with champions!!
Michael Shaw: Coach Curtis and Este are great people and they run a truly welcoming, professional and competitive gym. Couldn't recommend more highly.
Justin: Really disappointed in how my relationship turned out with Rafael BJJ. Was only able to train here for a month and spoke with the owner about these terms. I was moving from North Carolina because of the military and the owner agreed to do a 1 month charge. Later to find out, following my move, they continued charging me. When I tried contacting them, via phone number, email, website, multiple times they did not reply. I wanted to resolve the issue like “adults” but they refused to contact me back. I had to file a dispute with capital one to get my over $900 back, and was able to block the merchant from recurring charges. I still haven’t received my money back and remain in an ongoing dispute that has lasted months. All of the shady business stuff aside, the actual Jiu Jitsu instructor was really professional and knowledge full. It pains me to see good jiu jitsu schools do stuff like this. I wish we could have communicated and resolved this.
castillo: Very family friendly environment.
Nicholas Meares: Had a great time. Very knowledgeable and friendly trainers.
will rodriguez: Great classes plus an awsome environment. Coach Curtis, and professor Estevan are a great team, they bring really good energy to the program. I've been to a couple of other gyms in California, which was an awsome experience, but this gym is by far the best I've ever been too. I have my son in the kids class (8 years old) and he loves it. Professor Estevan is really good with the kids, you can definitely tell he's very passionate about (BJJ) I also attended the adult class. You know that uncomfortable feeling you get when you show up to a new gym? Count this gym out! everyone welcomed me with open arms and introduced themselves, which made me feel real comfortable. I would definitely recommend this gym if you want a great place to train BJJ, and feel at home.
Kelly Greer: Great family dynamic, strong leadership from all coaches
Rafael Jovet-Ramos: “Bond is stronger than blood. The family grows stronger with bond” — this is what you will experience at RBJJA- Hope Mills.
My Yang: We've been attending classes for my preschooler for about a month already and we cannot fully express how much we love it here! The atmosphere is truly engaging and everyone is very welcoming. If you have a preschooler or a 3-year old that you're looking at getting into some sort of martial arts or sport, this is the place to take them! I don't know what kind of magical dust they have on that mat, but the instructors here are godsends! It is really mind blowing to see how they can get a group of preschoolers to focus all while having fun at each lesson. It is also refreshing to know that they also offer a Womens Empowerment class on the weekend to encourage confidence and learn self-defense.
Jason and Aria Lynch: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueExcellent studio! Clean, friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging for all ages. Definitely recommend. Coach Curtis and all of the visiting instructors are absolutely fantastic and love what they do!
Sean Ysordia: I have enjoyed having my son enrolled at the Hope Mills RBJJ gym since February and cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness, dedication, and professionalism. The training from RBJJ has increased my sons confidence and physical fitness while making him accountable to his coaches. RBJJ has created a family environment that is very welcoming for students and families creating a strong sense of community. The facility goes above and beyond in their standards for cleanliness and ensures the students understand the importance of hygiene and sanitation. I absolutely recommend Hope Mills RBJJ to anyone interested.
Arron Stevens: I had looked at several martial arts places before walking in to see Curtis last October. Right away I knew this was the place for me. It’s ran like a family business where you’re immediately accepted in their family. Each member welcomes you as soon as you step in the door and will take time to slow down and show you things to allow you to learn and grow. The motivation and patience from every instructor is beyond comparison to anywhere I’ve ever trained at before. I’ve learned so much and have became a devoted student to the arts thanks to all of them. Whether you want BJJ or Judo you will get the best of both worlds with world class trainers. The day to day instructors are incredibly talented individuals plus you will also see special guest trainers from world ranked practitioners to UFC fighters to learn from as well. Whether you’re wanting to work on cardio and fitness, learn self defense, or just find something to take your mind off of the daily grind of life, go see Curtis and give it a shot.Best part, even if you only come for 1 day you can tell people for the rest of your life, “yeah I trained in Jiu-Jitsu and Judo before.”
Gregory Souter: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
JJGlanton: Amazing BJJ House!! Extremely friendly learning environment with a wide variety of instructors rotating to give a very well rounded experience. Members are free to pursue their own goals, from simple fitness and fun to competitive tournament prep. Offers youth classes as well.

Rou Long Ma School of Chinese Martial Arts: what do users think?
Jeffrey Linney: I was a student of Sifu Martin and Sifu Adames for nearly two years. Covid19 and then other life obstacles forced me to step away from my training, but I miss training with them immensely. Both men are incredible martial artists, very skilled, experienced, and knowledgeable of Northern Fist Shaolin Kung Fu and Yang Family Taijiquan. I want to get back there as soon as possible, and I highly recommend them to anyone interested or pursuing Chinese Martial Arts. And to all the Tai Chi haters out there, Sifu Martin will make a believer out of you...trust me!
Niceburn's Way: If you want to learn Kung Fu or Tai Chi this is the place to be! Both teachers take their time to explain postures and applications in detail and pay attention to correct feet, knee and hip positions so you will strengthen those areas rather than injure them.
b n: Great job
Robert McGee: Great instructors. Lots of individual attention.

Team ROC: what do users think?
Jacob Frison: First time training BJJ. All the coaches are very knowledgeable and patient. The environment produced by staff and students makes it easy to start and get involved
Adam Festa: Without a doubt the best gym in Fayetteville. The instructors are some of the best competitors in the sport. We don’t bake cupcakes.
Madison Beard: I had so much fun training here and learned a lot. As a female it’s sometimes hard to find places where you feel accepted, Team Roc makes everyone feel welcome :) Train here to up your game!
Chris Med: Walk in to ask in regards of the kids class for my 10yo. The lady on the desk was super rude to the point I felt like she wasn’t welcome there. They definitely have to work on their costumers service
Jose Centeno: My 5 year old son came here for the Jiu-Jitsu classes for almost a year. The staff is super friendly and good with integrating new kids to on going classes, coach Alicia is caring and understanding with kids. I am specially impressed by how good of an instructor coach Isaiah Monroe is to kids, the patience he has and the ability to explain things to little kids is amazing. The rest of the coaches are really good with kids just don't have time to mention them all. Thanks for everything!
john thang: I went to this gym for two weeks. Both weeks were amazing. The gi and no gi sessions were all very knowledgable. They’re very diverse in the moves they teach both in gi and without. The fundamental and advanced classes are full of great instructors who are seasoned and very well versed if you plan on learning for competition or just self defense and fitness. I myself carried some of the moves I learned here with me to other gyms and have used them. The muay thai is great. We learned different kicks, sparred, and I always end up leaving better then I was the day before and completely drenched in sweat. I will come back for more soon.
Patrick Bird: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueGreat school for self defense, competition, or just to get in a great workout, they offer MMA & Jiu Jitsu Gi/No Gi. I’ve trained in 3 countries and 3 states and Team Roc is definitely up there in my opinion as Elite, whether you’re a ranked fighter or a day one martial artist or anywhere in between. Jah bless and Aloha 🤙🏼
John Stull: Critical:Professionalism
Augusto Juarez: I trained here when I was stationed in Bragg. Living in the barracks it was a very convenient location—a 15-minute drive, and it’s right outside the gate. It’s next to an Asian grocery too, so that’s where I’d usually get food after on weekends.I walked in and I immediately felt welcomed. Being that a lot of the students and instructors were/are in Bragg, there were no contracts involved, and signups were easy. No gi requirements unless attending a seminar. The gym has a pretty good culture going. A lot of experienced guys helping out the new guys. Being a little guy, I had a great experience training here, both in Jiu-jitsu and MMA. I was never put against some [theoretical] meathead with a chip on his shoulder who would try to take my head off; pretty much all of my training was controlled, even when I got smashed.Community is great too. I think this is the place where I met pretty much almost all of the friends I made in my entire stay at Bragg.
Timothy Hollingsworth: I showed up unannounced while already going through a fight camp in my hometown. I explained to all the coaches what my situation was and how long I would be attending. They accepted me with open arms and made me feel like I was part of their team.
Patrick McPhail: Awesome place to train. I started off completely new to it all, after maybe 3 weeks I had a basic understanding of guards and mounts, and fell in love.

Smith Family Dojo: what do users think?
Robert Golliher: My daughter has been going to smith's family dojo for about 6 months now and she loves it. Sensei Smith is very good with beginners and has made our daughter feel confident and comfortable while learning a new skill. She enjoys going to Karate and I don't think she would like it as much if it were a different Dojo. I can't say enough about this place, definitely recommend this place to anyone who is even slightly interested.
Joe Shivery: After 2 months of not only my 5 children but also myself I can confidently give Sensei Smith and the Smith Family Dojo a 5 star rating all the way around. Sensei Smith is extremely knowledgeable and well versed in karate. The prices are also very affordable and you can tell Sensei purely out of the love of the art and to pass the knowledge on to generations after him as it should be. The benefits I have seen in my children and myself go beyond the dojo.
Jess Vandenburg: 👊👍
Karen R: We have been a part of the Smith family dojo family for 6 years. Our boys were 5 when they started. You won't find a better dojo. Or a better Sensei then Kevin. He is an amazing sensei and is dedicated to all his students by not just making it fun but teaching that with hard work, discipline and dedication they will have a great sense of self and accomplishment they will be proud of. So stop looking, you have found the best. Karen Dus
Amber Johnson: Just amazing! My son have been going here for over a year and loves every minute. It is one of the best decisions we have made. Sensei Smith is a fantastic instructor. He takes the time to make sure every student in class understands what he is teaching. Small class sizes and affordable. Also, my son (8 years old) wanted me to let everyone know he rates his Sensei 5 stars as well.
Kyle McFarland: Sensei Smith and Sensei McCray are excellent teachers. They are patient and kind while instilling the discipline needed for this sport. There truly is a family feel at this dojo with monthly events outside the dojo for the kids and families to connect more. I highly recommend this dojo to any and all looking for a karate home around Fayetteville.
Amenda Petty: My nephew loves this place!!!
christian caponpon: My kids love it here. They're learning a lot
Christie Dixon: Sensei Smith is great. My son is 11 and daughter 9. They’ve attended for a couple of months and love it! Great atmosphere and they work hard to make everyone feel like family by hosting events, dinners, etc. We are very thankful for this dojo!
Meliodas Frank: My son has only been going for a short time, but he loves it! Great place, I am so glad we decided to start!
CJ Wright: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueA great family oriented dojo in Fayetteville/Hope Mills. The staff work tirelessly for the students, and continuously create fund opportunities for the students and the families! Sensei Smith is an amazing instructor.
Raeford Knight: Sensei Smith is a great teacher and generally cares for his students.
SmithBright Cleaning: Sensai Smith is great. Great family atmosphere. Love it here!
Dan Ratley (Big Dan): Great place to learn Karate! Definitely family oriented
Tammy Tyner: All these five star reviews speak for theirselves. Sensei Smith has surely found his calling.....he is great with the younger students such as my 6 year old grandson. Kayden loves to go and learn and as I sit and observe I know that I made the correct choice in Smith Family Dojo. Look forward to the years to come and watching Kayden grow........
christopher levack: Sensei Smith and smith family dojo is a unique find! This family oriented atmosphere promotes discipline and hard work that you won’t find anywhere else. Highly recommend for students of all ages. Sensei Smith is the best around!!
Deborah Basile: Just joined but have to say both children learned more in one day than I thought possible. We are gonna love it.
Tommye Nelson: We absolutely love this dojo. Sensei is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares for his students. There is a family atmosphere at this karate dojo that is hard to find. We have been fortunate to find Smith Family Dojo!
Rip X: It is rare nowadays to find a martial arts dojo that is not only dedicated to its students, but to its ART. In a time where dojos are going bigger, flashier, and more modern (?) Smith family dojo, and Smith Sensei are all about the traditions of Okinawa Kenpo and the way it was taught originally. You can watch videos of Smith sensei and then watch videos of Master Odo and see very little difference in the way they each perform their katas or techniques. We are very fortunate to have good representation of Okinawa Kenpo in NC, and Hope Mills is very grateful to have Smith Family Dojo.
Richard Smith: I've been training on and off for over 20 years with Sensei Smith, and I can assure you there is no one who cares more about the youth in our community. A real class act who is involved in many community events that support our children!
Misty Joffrion: My family has been a part of this dojo going on 3 years now. Sensei Smith offers a positive atmosphere for the entire family, no matter the skill level. We enjoy not only the classes we train in but also the get togethers for the kids and families. We look forward to more in the future.
