tyedye 28304: BUYER BEWARE. Order a load of top soil from them last year. They neglected to mention there's a difference between top soil and "clean" top soil. Came and dumped some dirt and a whole lot of soil trash in my yard. I wasn't at home during the delivery or else I would have told them to take it back. Now a year later, I'm fighting off a sand-spur infestation. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!

Tim Marks: Was attempting to buy top soil. The gent infrastructure of me in line was telling his entire life story so I figured I'd call to place the order instead and save my self precious time. When I explained this to the woman over the phone I was told it would be faster to just sit in line, instead of calling it in. She was fully prepared to take my order over the phone for a delivery, but not for a pick up. Terrible customer service. I'll just drive further away and get what I need from someone else.

Roro Carroll: I have used this company about 3 times now. Each time has been a very pleasant experience. Although, there was a slight hiccup with the first delivery; they made sure to come on time for the 2nd and 3rd time. This last time, I was noticed when they were on their way for the delivery. When they showed up, I needed the rocks in a certain spot and the guys made it happen. I am sure I will need some more landscaping rocks in the future and will definitely reach out to this business. Thank you for my helping me make my yard beautiful!

There are other places that know how to do business.A little while back I had called this place to find out how much nursery mix I needed and I was told by Greg and he would get back to me and he never did. Last week I called again to find out about some nursery mix because it was kind of an emergency....... I had some trees coming and they needed to be potted up and I really needed that nursery mix.Twice he said he'd get back to me & twice I never heard back from him , so this is really ridiculous.I called Hillside landscaping Supply in Hope Mills, explained what I needed and the guy said three yards would be fine and the owner personally delivered it to me several days later on a Monday right after the weekend.I paid him and everything was fine. Don't waste your time with Carolina landscaping Supply their heads are up in the clouds , they don't care about business and they don't know how to do business, where I wanted that nursery mix delivered was only a few miles away from where they are located on Raeford road, yet when I called another place in Hope Mills they came out a few days later .....the owner came out personally and delivered it about 40 minutes away.

Explained to them what we would need, they took a hefty payment for the first part of our order and never followed through with the rest. Ended up having to locate another SOD farm and looking elsewhere for the rest of the material we requested.I contacted them and was told my call would be returned for the following shipment… never heard anything.. I followed up and received no answer nor response back.. I would not recommend this company at all..The thing is they originally reached out to me and was calling local landscaping companies to pick up business and then do this which makes them look ill prepared and not capable of taking on a larger customer base.

Juan Perez: Paid a few grand for this sod from wayside. Most of it is dead and it is infested with weeds. There is even garlic growing out of this sod (toxic to my dogs). Compare to the rest of the other grass towards the front that is doing quite well and weed free. Take your money elsewhere.
Blue Taco: Installed bad sod on front of my new property 5 months ago through builder, did not bother to water sod at all prior to sale of home. Sod died and now costing me a couple thousand dollars to replace because warranty doesn't cover landscape.Contacted them several times with no response.

Billy Blackmon: Brad with Wayside landscaping was very courteous and competitively priced. However, 5 years later I’m learning the shortcuts his crew took while I was out of state and they installed our privacy fence and retention wall shortly after our home purchase. Rotten timbers that never were meant for ground contact (perhaps regular treated at best) two retaining walls not anchored to one another and now splitting apart. Now I know why my price was so good—corners cut.

MP B: I went to ask for prices in person. And the female in the little shed was lazy that she wouldn't go and show me what it was that I was wanting. It had rained 20 minutes prior and cooled down signicantly and I kept asking her where it was located so I can look at it in person, she kept giving generic answers and not showing me. Felt like she didn't care about customer service. Also she gave me one price, and I like to test people so I asked again before leaving, and she added a dollar to it. I confronted her that she gave me a dollar less price few minutes, and she basically said am hearing stuff. Oh ok. I was going to buy from there right then and there as that was the intention, but after going there in person, I would rather buy elsewhere. I also went because my neighbors used to buy mostly everything from them and they moved away last year. Nope. Not us

Note that it was a same day delivery; the people in the show room are always very helpful and I was impressed that they could deliver same-day!
