Dorothy Bandy Jones (AKA. Dr. Dorothy Miller): When I called Grant Landscaping someone came out immediately to assess situation. However that person said the job was going to require a great deal of work and the owner would come back out. Well fast forward about month later and no one showed up. I kept calling and finally I connected back to the owner and he promised to come back out (This is typical of most contractors right now. They are so backed up with work!). I was happy to finally get a real sprinkler company to come out. We had hired another person earlier and that person didn't finish the job and said he would come back, but never did! I don't think that person was a licensed irrigation specialist (Marsh Landscaping...do not use).Anyway, Grant Landscaping finally came out and if took a while to complete the job, but it was worth the wait. Several sprinkler heads needed replacing, pipes were crushed, system was more than 30 yrs old (we purchased house about 9 months ago). He did a great job and his pricing was very reasonable despite today's inflation. I would definitely use him again. Would have given him 5 stars, but getting him to come out was a tough task!🙄.

I told him to call or message if he was or wasn’t going to show up so I’m not here waiting on him but he didn’t. I pointed out two areas that were leaking and he fixed those at an additional $100 cost. Aaron Clapsaddle: Wish I could give more than ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!Let me just say up front that Grant's Lawn Care & Sprinkler, bar none, provides the most professional and complete service of any business I've had do work on my home in the eight years we've owned this house! If you need work done, Grant's should be your first call!I contacted Grant's Lawn Care & Sprinkler on Wednesday, April 14, because I had been told by another irrigation repair company that I needed a new backflow valve and we also noticed we had visible water pooling in a corner of our backyard and suspected there was a leak in the sprinkler system. I spoke with the owner, Jimmy Grant, and he said they could get someone out to take a look at the system on Saturday, April 17. He also told me up front during the initial call that a new backflow would cost $550, which was considerably less than the previous company quoted me.The next day, Thursday, April 15, I received a call from Jimmy letting me know they could actually get to me that day before noon if I was available. I stated I was and he sent out his technician, Mark Williams. When Mark arrived, we discussed what I thought needed to be done and I showed Mark where the backflow and control box was located. Before doing any workork, Mark went through pricing for any items that might be required and explained what he would be doing. He first took a look at my backflow and then turned on the system to get an idea of the magnitude of the job ahead. Mark immediately called me outside and to my surprise told me I didn't need a new backflow valve, and that the previous company that had recommended I replace it was wrong. Not only that, but when Mark took a look at my system, he noticed that it was programmed to come on four times a day for an hour in each zone, which would've resulted in about a $1,500 water bill. He made the necessary corrections and explained that once a day a few times a week for about 12 minutes per zone was more than sufficient for my size lawn. Mark also walked me through the process to program or change the settings, as well as how to run the system manually if needed.After that, he checked all the sprinkler heads in each zone, identified four that needed repair. After completing the work, he double-checked everything and finally the culprit of the pooling water presented itself, a missing sprinkler head that had apparently been chewed off by animals, but was buried and not immediately visible. Mark made the necessary repairs and once again did a final quality check to make sure all issues had been addressed, adjusted each of the heads so they had the proper overlapping pattern, and that I understood everything that he did. In the end, what I thought was going to be a job costing over $1,000 only ended up costing $300! No pride, no care for quality work, and someone’s mortgage gets to cover that.

stephanie cox: We bought a new build. We moved from out of state and were not here when they did our yard. I was told by the builder it was sod. When we arrived it was seed and Winter Rye at that. So as soon as the heat came we had no grass. It was straight dirt. Then the rain came and we have bad irrigation issues and now we have a yard full of goose grass. I'm pretty irritated as we are outside people and wanted a nice lawn to look at especially after the move from Alaska. I have mentioned this to the builder over and over again. They finally told me to contact the company they used. My husband and I are both not happy about it. I have pictures that I will upload again in another review on here. Might I also mention my husband is active military and did not have the time to deal with this. It has been extremely frustrating to say the least. I noticed several others have had the same issue. 😭 I guess the builders get what they pay for. We should have had them wait to do the yard til we got here. Hind sight is 20/20.

I had to puzzle pieces of sod together to get a whole square; going on three weeks and the sod is still brown with no signs of growing. Same day of purchase, we try to call with concerning about how the sod was looking, but had to leave a message and no one has called us back yet. Crystal Butler: Not impressed with the 3 pallets I had delivered today. The price seemed on par with other companies and the customer service was good. While installing the sod, I was very frustrated with how dry the pallet had become. It seemed as though it was fresh cut, at least the price would lend to that assumption. We started laying the sod immediately and this was not freshly cut. I would estimate that 1.5 of the product was practically dust. It made installation horrendous. Especially frustrating to get to the last few layers of the last pallet to finally have decent slabs. Made what should have been a fast job long and laborious. I do not have high hope for this sod to green up evenly, if at all. It will be a miracle. 😑

We've had horrible problems with washout and keeping the grass there is hard. Called to ask them not to, was told supervisor would call me back. Over a week now and not a word.As of August 10 I've heard from no one, also today they used their blowers to blow some of the grass off the walkways, blew my wreath off door. Then, he said we must not have understood him because we are "Korean or something". I'm from the South and I'm used to discrimination. however, I have NEVER received this type of blatant racism and disrespect in my life. He continued to yell and I asked him several times to stop so I can speak about our side. But he was not hearing it. He insulted me and my family and said "we are just trying to rip him off and get things for free like the rest of them". If he had fixed our issue of "sprinkler not working", then we would all be on our merry ways. He continued to yell. Of course, at that point, Im yelling back because he's claiming ridiculous things like mentioning we took off a sprinkler head which we did because we were replacing all of the heads that were not spraying properly or efficiently which he would have known and suggested had he actually checked if it worked. He continued to blame us for it "not working" and said he checked both Friday and Monday and it ran fine (which he did not) - though he said he did not check it. What?NEVER will recommend this company ever and will be reporting to BBB.

I am extremely pleased with the replacement trees and want to express my sincere gratitude. Thank you once again for doing such a remarkable job and taking care of my problem.Last fall in 2022, I explicitly requested a 5-foot tree for various reasons. However, upon installation, a smaller tree was planted. I was informed that the measurement included the root ball and that it was under 5 feet with the root ball. When I expressed my dissatisfaction during the installation, I was told that the tree was fast-growing and if I remained unhappy, I could contact them in the spring for a replacement. I followed up with a complaint, and a representative visited to assess the tree's health and promised a replacement, which was never fulfilled. This lack of action has led me to leave a 1-star review.

Ensured I had two areas where water could drain away from the house and then laid new 181 square yards of new centipede grass. There were a few places the new grass failed to take and was dead. GreenBiz workers returned, removed the dead grass, and placed fresh grass down. I watered it, then they cleaned up the area and checked to see if all was good. My wife was happy with their work, and we thanked them as they got ready to depart
