Barnes & Noble: what do users think?
Melody Farnham: Went there to get Harry Potter for my little man and to look at calendars. Staff was more than helpful in assisting in locating the calendar section. The atmosphere is always welcoming and relaxing.
Jamie Barillas: Always loved BN and even a member, however, whoever the girl with the shaved head who is heavier set with a septum piercing (there's literally only one and they purposefully covered their name tag) was absolutely rude as hell the other day when we're in there. Yelling at customers, horrible attitude, rolling eyes, sarcasm when talking to customers, rushing customers through the mine even those that had questions, talking down to customers, slamming books, I could go on. I'm not sure if it w as because it was 2 days before 4th of July and she had to work? I'm not sure if it's because she hates working there? Or if it's because the line was long? Either way, she's pretty terrible. Driving to Raleigh for BN sounds better than dealing with this garbage. If I can locate her name. I will update this review.
Nicodemous: Great Barnes & Nobles good selection of books, collectables, games, movies, music and kids toys. I always find something neat every visit. Not to mention they have a great Starbucks in house also.Definitely one of the best places to past the time in Fayetteville if your trying to have a relaxing day.
Christopher Rivas: Great place to browse for books.
William Parker: Been coming here for years, mainly for the great selection of music. I don't appreciate that they downsized it but there's still a bit of stuff to look through.
Lightsaber360: I love going into this store, even though it's so big, it feels like a cozy shop.
blaze woodruff: They sell books! 5 stars :)
Jim Squibb: Enjoyable place to shop
Summer Dobbins: Quiet and a great happy atmosphere!
MELISSA Dossantos: GO WOKE GO BROKE....BOYCOTTING
Cheryl Scott: Was unable to find a novel and asked a staff member and he walk me right to it only one was left and he checked me out with a very big smile
Michael Burke: Classic B&N atmosphere. Coffee Shop meets book store vibe.
Michelle S: We go here nearly weekly. Biggest frustration is that they let people spread out food and bags and stuff on the kids table, leave it there to take up seats and space but don’t actually sit, and don’t shoo them away. I’ve even complained and they didn’t do anything. The workers are often busy chatting to each other, personal conversations, rather than helping customers. It’s normal location, normal variety and good stock, but the service is less than stellar and they really need to do something about the kid section.
Al Taz: Only bookstore in Fayetteville. Store renovations are awesome! Looks totally different. Staff is helpful and friendly!
Momma Shelly: Lovely place to talk with friends and grab a bite at Starbucks and has great books
Green Girl: Mahrya is phenomenal! She is a barista at the Starbucks and was so kind, patient and attentive to my order and concerns. Went above and beyond, deserves the recognition.
Angelika Morgan: Sooo much of exciting merchandise I could not view all. Got what (and not) I needed and had an excellent shopping experience.
Thomas Viger: Very clean organized and friendly atmosphere
Nicholas Gardner: Seemed very unorganized and messy. Really think there should be a kiosk available to search for an author or specific books availability and location within the store.
chia eban: Love this cute place
Dereka Robinson-Jordan: Good experience, store manager went above and beyond for my mom.

City Center Gallery & Books: what do users think?
William Gothard: One of the finest small, independent bookstores that you will find. There is a great selection of used books of all genres. They have a convenient book credit program for dropping off books you have read. It is easy to apply credits for the purchase of other books. They are active participants in the downtown Fayetteville culture and revitalization. I highly recommend a visit. There is plenty of convenient parking across the street.
Carmen Drier: Found a classic and enjoyed browsing! Cute place with sweet staff.
Joseph Choate: Small but good selections of books
Erika Smith: The store isn't curated well. There were a few new books, but it mostly seemed like the got books from the free section of the library or goodwill. No new or exciting books.
hobbes04: The owner is the most adorable, wonderful woman you’ll ever have met. Very Good recommendations for my Valentines 💘 Sweetheart. She even 🎁 gift-wrapped for me!! I gave her huge tip for supplies.Amazing Gem in Fayetteville Downtown Must-See!!
Mark Conneway: Great place and great people downtown. Always something interesting in there. They sell a lot of local art as well as books. So much fun!
jack mchale: Found this amazing store on Google and took our first visit there today. Got some amazing books at a great price and a few little miscellaneous items also. Will most definitely return. Great range of books; Classics and originals over 100 years old all the way to modern brand new prints. My favorite store in Fayetteville so far 😁👍👍
Virginia Toland: Was able to order a book for my granddaughter's birthday and will be called next week to pick it up
Kai Llamas: Cute little shop. Very friendly people working here. Nice selection!
Sam Baker: books!
Rosemary Szynkowicz: Wonderful, funky, cool, used book store. Extremely reasonable prices.
Sabrena Robinson: Excellent staff and adorable gallery!
Arturo Pardo: cozy little place!
Kristi Howard: Tonight (11/14/20) I was walking downtown with two girlfriends after having dinner at Lake Gaston. We were passing by this bookstore, and my friend was saying goodbye to her kid on the telephone as we passed. The male owner, who I am familiar enough with to identify as such after many years in Fayetteville, stepped out the door and loudly asked my friend if she needed “psychological help”. When we all faltered and just stared at him he continued to talk to her about whether she needed mental health help until she told him that she has a masters in psychology, so no, she’s good, and we walked away still a little unsure of what exactly just happened.I’m not sure if he thought he was being funny, or if he himself is maybe suffering from some kind of mental problem or dementia, but his behavior was unacceptable regardless. Maybe they should keep him off the sidewalk, if he is going to harass pedestrians.
Joanna G: Friendly staff, nice music playing, plus quite an odd collection of books, never know what you will find when you go in. Love the local art they feature and the vintage books.
Bee K (Bee): Cute little bookshop with the nicest staff
Darcy Swartz: An adorable bookstore with a great selection of books in great condition!
Patricia Hershock: I love this quiet little book store. I always find a new selection when I stop in here. It is small but the book selection is good and you’re supporting small businesses. A must-see if you’re downtown and love books!
Christine Michaels: Got a perfect farewell gift here
Carol Scheib: I love to walk through this quaint bookstore. You never know what you will find here.
Ingrid P: Trendy store, great prices for books, owner is quite nice and had a great conversation with her about Fayetteville history
