This was my first visit to El Burrito. I took my daughter out to lunch for her birthday and she picked this location. I was unfamiliar with this particular location. It wasn't difficult to find. There were plenty of parking. Once we ended the location we were greeted by the hostess, she was friendly and seated us immediately. At the time of our arrival it was not busy however once we got there a number of people came in. El Burrito reminds me of establishment such as Mi Casita's and El Cazador. It presented what I consider the typical vibe. The restaurant was clean and the waitress brought us chips immediately, as I expected. I noticed off hand the menus were very nice. My daughter mentioned that it appeared to be a upgrade from the previous time she had visited. The menu is extensive, I had a difficult time trying to decide what I wanted. Food was awesome! Service was great! Margaritas were good as well. Usually Mexican restaurants do not get above mediocre in all areas. Usually the food is good and service is bad or margaritas are awesome but food and service are average. This restaurant manages to encompass an above average rating in all three. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I had family in from out of town and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves as well. We will be returning soon. The prices are not that bad either. They appear to be a authentic Mexican restaurant although I do not profess to be an expert! The margarita comes in three sizes. The Fajitas were awesome as well as the burritos. That was all I personally tried but my family had a plethora of items and they all looked appealing. You should definitely visit this restaurant. Much better than MiCasita in my opinion!

Sheri Faluta: I've been to this place a few times. I usually get the Polo Fundido (shredded chicken in a deep fried flour tortilla with cheese sauce) and rice. The chicken is tender and flavorful. I also enjoy their salsa; it could use a little more spice and garlic, but that's just my personal preference. It does have a good amount of cilantro and the right amount of lime juice. I don't like super chunky salsas so the consistency is perfect, for me. The servers are always friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean.
Shenita Branson: Let me start off saying that my husband and I love Mexican food and can be a bit critical about what we eat.They had a closer location right off Skibo that was close for us. They had outdoor seating, and we LOVED that! For some reason, they have closed and is now called La Pearla.We went to the old location about 3 months ago. We were craving that delicious Mexican food that we love so much. We noticed when the nice lady server came to take our drink order that they were not El Burrito anymore 😕. We decided to stay and try the new place since we were already there. That was a mistake! The food is WAY different and unseasoned. Now the sweet tea was good and the chips and queso were good but we didn't go there for a snack we wanted some good food. We did not find that here.I did some searching for another El Burrito location and found this one. Boy, AM I HAPPY I DID!!! This was the food we were looking for! EVERY TIME we come here, I tell ya, it gets BETTER AND BETTER! The service is outstanding! The sweet tea is like I made it at home! The food...almost makes me cry! My stomach dances with the deliciousness they serve to me on the plate!!! I just wish the place was bigger! This location is small, far to drive (for us), and it's in a strip mall. Donna GAIL Kimbrel: The Food i was asking for was not what I was given. The young lady that took my order, did not explain the food details very well at all. She was more concerned about sitting back down & Talking with a northern lady, I guess who worked there as well. She was to LOUD & USING VERY OFFENCIVE PROFANITY WHILE I WAS WAITING FOR MY FOOD. Anabel Rosales: Yesterday afternoon we went to this place to have a nice dinner with my family, I ordered a T-bone from them everything was fine and I was starving so I started eating everything else but the steak and when I took the first bite it was bad that meat was definitely not good it tasted like they left it out and went bad and the served it that way, I talk to the manager about it and she was rude about it, she thought that I didn’t speak Spanish and she was bad mouthing me and my family saying that we only wanted free food. Cameron Schrecengost: Had a great authentic Mexican feel and the staff was friendly. My family and I had no issues getting a table when we showed up around 11 A.M. Our waitress was very knowledgable about the menu and had a genuine smile. I had the Enchilada Supreme and it was amazing! Very tasty and just the right sized portion. I asked and was charged for tostones and didn't get any. I didn't bother asking for then due to the quality of the chicken. Proceed with caution citizens. ari S: Food was okay, mofongo tasted more like a mangu with some fried plantains. The carne frita had no flavor to it. The yuca with mojo looked like it was thrown in sauce from carne guisada instead of mojo. Rice, beans and pechuga en salsa were good. It was weird ordering soda as a drink and being given a small bottle with a cup on the side, first place I have been to that does this without offering refills. The empanada the pollo was good. I feel like this place was overpriced maybe it wasn’t the experience I was expecting and I might give it another try sometime later on in the future.The service was good but I didn’t like hearing the employees talk about other customers who had walked in. I personally think if they were going to talk about them at least do it where other customers can’t hear about it and that killed the experience for me.

Sherrie Rivera: Unfortunately this place is not the same as it was in the beginning. They keep bringing new wait staff. We went today at 4:30, I usually make a reservation but this time I did not. Well a lady came and sat us at a table and gave us menu's. Next thing I know 2 other servers come over to the table and tell me sorry but this table has been reserved. I told her the other server sat us there. They call over the other server and precede to scold her about sitting us there. That they had told her the table was reserved. Then they walked away. So here we are waiting and waiting for someone to come over and take our order but they are ignoring us. So I went over to the server that sat us and told her thank you for nothing that I did not appreciate being ignored and that we were regular customers but that now that would change. One of the other servers was on the phone while I was speaking, then suddenly she says I told you to give me a few. I said no you did not say that to us. I told her you were too busy scolding this lady. You should not have done that in front of customers that was not acceptable. I told her that we would be leaving. This place has servers now that are rude and assuming. She assumed that my husband and I had sat ourselves down. I also did not appreciate that 2 servers came to the table to talk to me, like she couldn't handle it on her own. She also should have asked the 3rd server first before coming over to my table and talking to us the way she did. So in short. I think it will be a long while before we go there again. I will try to look for another Spanish restaurant. The picture is an old one from when we first started going there.

This was the best trifongo with Carne frita with a side of tostones de Pana with AL ajillo sauce 😋. As my husband says "I'd give it a 10 star if I could, worth every penny and more!!" We definitely recommend this place is you want a taste of authentic Puerto Rican food. 1 order gives for 2 to 3 people, great portion size (we ordered to-go). Love it.

Laura O: Had a late lunch here today, table of 6, 3 adults, 3 children. Although there were not many customers in the restaurant, we were not greeted for quite a few minutes. Our server took our order and brought drinks, but we only saw him two additional times once when he brought more chips and the other when he brought our bills. We were not checked back on after we received our food. If we had been, we would have expressed our unhappiness then instead of on this platform. All (adults) felt food was disappointing, and the service was terrible. I wouldn't return here for a free meal. In hindsight, the lack of customers should have been our warning.
