hadley taylor: Tonight my kids where let into the club. Keep in mind they are 16. The legal age in North Carolina is 18 to be let into the club. When I got there to the club to get my kids and their two friends that were also 16. I asked the security guard if he had seen to 16 year olds go into the club and he told me no. I asked another lady and she proceeded to tell me it was okay cause they weren’t serving them alcohol. Are you kidding me their 16! Also one of the waitress working there that night knew they were sixteen and didn’t say anything to the club owner or whoever was manager that night. When my husband went to go get the other kid the security guard stopped him and tried to ID him after letting in minors. ( they don’t even have fake IDs) they even look like babies. However thank you for the lady who answered the phone tonight. When I called to let her know people were letting kids into her club and let me just say she didn’t know anything about it either.

Gio: I grew up in Tijuana and San Diego, so I heard this place was “authentic” mexican food, so I decided to give it a try and I regret it… The food was awful, I got a Quesadilla de asada, the tortilla tasted like a walmart tortilla, carne was bland and flavorless, and the toppings omg, lettuce, sour cream and queso fresco, not recommended, if you want good mexican food go to Don Ramon’s instead.

Dress code is NOT listed on the website. My friends and I came back THREE times after we changed our outfits, our shoes (again, dress code is not listed on website and they do not let you in if you wear shoes with no back strap), and the last time we went we were told it was $40-$50 if you’re underage (we were all 20.) I honestly just wish they had their prerequisites listed on the website so we could know before we wasted our time going here. Also the workers are very…childish. The security (?) laughed and called us broke when we walked away from being charged $50 for being 20 years old. Nobody in their right mind is paying $50 when they’re 1) not drinking and 2) will only be there for a hour. The lady who takes the money even acted rude. We weren’t even gonna be drinking but the rules are rules. Just please list them on the website so people know beforehand. Overall, I’d say this club is a gigantic waste of time and needs to be more transparent with their prerequisites. And the workers need to be a bit more courteous and not as rude. Honestly I’m just turned away from the whole thing. Waste of time and the staff is ghetto af and rude.

Kelly: The "best" club in the area, but entrance fee fluctuates based on how many people already entered, without prior notice to clients. One night it was packed and they raised the price from $15 to $35, I think not. Entrance is cash-only. They do have an ATM. Dress code is ridiculous because they will deny entrance to women for wearing sneakers or sandals without the back part. However, inside there will be women with sneakers still which is unfair. One Friday night I opened a tab and forgot my cc and license -- they made me wait until Saturday night to pick it up 🙃 That's horrible customer service because I couldn't use my cc at all that day and I was risking driving unlicensed.Regardless of my negative experiences at Halo, it's nice to have seen artists in my hometown like: Jowell y Randy, De la Ghetto, and soon Maldy.Cons: dress code, sometimes overpriced, drinks not strong and few options, staff can be rude, overcrowded, closes at 2am.Pros: clean, safe, local.

How can you tell someone what they can and can not wear if they are looking presentable. I’ve seen plenty of times where if you knew the staff they let you slide in REGARDLESS of what you were wearing. The security detail is completely unprofessional and rude. They cut you off and don’t allow to speak ! The drinks are good bartenders are great. I had a manger take a chair from the table we sat at because there is a limit only to put it at a table with more chairs. Regardless of how many people show up if your staff is rude and unfair you won’t get far in the night club business. Hate that I had to experience it but completely unprofessional even to other people that go out there just to have fun. You can tell they don’t do sounds checks cause they music always messes up and they play music no on knows “3 out of 10 would not recommend” P.S.! And if you notice the owner always responds under the negative feedback in a argumentative manner and they are sitting at a 2.9 rating! Most of it is because of the bias dress code and the poor security that they have! Literally everyone that comes into town I tell them to go to Raleigh because halo is not worth it

Having Afrobeat music outside and only pop music and rap inside show there is a racism in a club. Laura O: Had a late lunch here today, table of 6, 3 adults, 3 children. Although there were not many customers in the restaurant, we were not greeted for quite a few minutes. Our server took our order and brought drinks, but we only saw him two additional times once when he brought more chips and the other when he brought our bills. We were not checked back on after we received our food. If we had been, we would have expressed our unhappiness then instead of on this platform. All (adults) felt food was disappointing, and the service was terrible. I wouldn't return here for a free meal. In hindsight, the lack of customers should have been our warning.

The Nachos Locos was covered with rotten lettuce as was the guacamole that was served on the side. The beans and rice were so dry I feel they had been sitting out for days. Sierra Torres: My family and I stopped here on our way back home to Florida. The associate who took our order was very friendly and informative. I showed him pictures of items I saw on TikTok served by the Rookies restaurant and he was able to point out the items I wanted from the menu. I got a Quesabirria Pizza, Quesa Tacos with rice and refried beans, Chicken Quesadilla, Queso dip and chips as well as the Loaded Taquitos, and horchata. The first thing I tried was the horchata and I loved it! It was smooth, sweet but not too sweet and it reminded me of a comfort food I make at home. I ended up buying 3 more cups! The food was very delicious and the presentation was on point as well. The only thing I didn’t like was the refried beans. I mean it had a nice presentation in a little tortilla cup but it was tasteless with an unpleasant texture. Other than that, everything was great! The bathrooms were clean as well. They consistently service the same great quality tasty food in every location. I really can't say enough good things about them! We ate at the Ramsey St location last night. Food was wonderful, but our server wasn't. It was just my daughter & myself, no men with us. Apparently, the waitress expected no tip from just women, so I obliged her. There was no tip. I told the cashier that the food was fabulous & the waitress was not. Had she been ice & waited on us like all the other servers do she would have received a 20 to 30 % tip from just women.
