Definitely going to be a forever patient.

Carolina Vision Center: what do users think?
Maria Jeva Roa: Excellent esp the Drs like Dr Freeman , Yvette, Woodcock , Jazz the scheduler and all the assistants . Thank you so much ! Ma Roa
Kana McDaniel: I had LASIK done here about five years ago. Just had an annual eye exam and the doctor said whoever did my eyes did a phenomenal job and I have eyes like a bird. I can still read the smallest line on the chart. That's about as high of praise as you can get.
Gabrielle Hammond: Dr. Woodcock & his staff did an amazing job for my sister who had lasik in December. My sister came from out of town for Christmas. He was able to fit her into his very tight schedule. His staff was absolutely amazing and nice. Highly recommend! Oh yeah .. and thanks Dr. Woodcock for giving her 20/20 vision because now she gets on my nerves even more!!
experimentalism: If you want to go to a good ophthalmologist clinic, DON'T go here. From the moment I stepped inside I had a bad feeling. There were a line of people waiting, one of the people in that line was an old woman standing with a crutch and a neck brace that was trying to get herself a wheelchair. The station of nurses or receptionists were all behind the desk just watching her struggle to get herself a wheelchair. My mother and I stepped in to her aid well before any of the women behind the desk came from behind to try and help her. They only sprung into action when my mom asked if any of them were going to help the poor woman that was clearly in need of assistance. The waiting room was fairly crowded and there were plenty of people hacking and coughing that weren't wearing masks. I understand we're no longer in a pandemic, but it was concerning hearing how many people were coughing, especially with how many elderly people were there. It was like watching farmers herding cattle with how hectic everything was. When I was called up to the desk for the first time to fill out paperwork, I didn't see anybody looking for me so I was just standing there confused until the woman called my name again and was able to figure out where I needed to go. She then handed me said paperwork that I had already signed online the day before my appointment for the purpose of having to avoid filling out the paperwork there to save time. This made me question the purpose of signing most of those forms online if they're for the patient's convenience, only to have to turn around and physically sign them in-office as well. Most of the staff seemed very unpleasant and rude, but the nurses that checked my vision both before and after my eyes were dilated were very kind. There were so many people walking around and were being told to wait because someone else was having their eyes checked because apparently there's only one room to appropriately do so. I'm sure I wasn't the only one in that clinic confused about what was going on or where to go because most of the staff seemingly have no direction. After finally waiting for my eyes to be dilated and do my consult, I was told I didn't qualify for LASIK. I completely understand that this was neither the doctor's or my fault, but I was visibly upset and Doctor Woodcock just did not seem to have any sympathy or even care. I've waited three years just to be told I have to wait longer and my vision is already absolutely terrible. Doctor Woodcock maybe examined me for five minutes, IF that. It felt very rushed and he seemed like he couldn't even really be bothered either. The nurses examining my eyesight were more thorough than Dr. Woodcock appeared to be. No suggestions for alternative procedures or questions about how my extremely poor vision affects me on a daily basis either. In fact, he told me I shouldn't let anyone convince me that I should get corrective surgery and that if he did do it, I'd be the man he cursed forever. It came across as very patronizing while I was already unsuccessfully fighting back tears and obviously upset. I've had the same prescription for three years and I'm so nearsighted that I can't even see clearly from a foot or even six inches away. I was absolutely devastated to find out I didn't qualify after only being examined for a few minutes, and the only person that was there to comfort me who wasn't my mom was Ms. Colon. She saw me crying and offered me kind words of reassurance since she knew I was hopeful to fix my vision. With the exception with Ms. Colon and the other nurse that checked my vision, the rest of the staff were unprofessional and seemed disingenuous. If you are looking for a pleasant, non-stressful ophthalmology clinic with kind and caring staff, this isn't the place for you. Most nurses are unhelpful and rude, and the reviews of Dr. Woodcock having almost nonexistent bedside manner are true. Ms. Colon and the other nurse that I unfortunately didn't get the name of were the only exceptions in the entire clinic that seemed to be genuinely nice and caring people.
Arisa Layce Mason: From the first call in I really felt that the woman I spoke with genuinely felt concern about my issues. I had severe swelling and redness, and the medication another facility gave me was not working. Every interaction with all the female employees went really great, they all seemed personable. Right up until I met the doctor.I am extremely disappointed in the professionalism of the doctor. I could literally hear my last name as well as other details of my situation outside the door because he spoke very loudly. When you know you will be in very close proximity with someone’s face, try to practice better oral hygiene. In addition, the doctor had a very arrogant demeanor, and spoke very fast. When I asked for him to repeat what he mentioned, he patronized me by talking slower and louder as if I did not speak English. There were a total of 4 other people in my room, and I was not asked if I felt comfortable with that. Again, friendliness was an issue. When I tried to explain that the eye contraption needed to be adjusted to accommodate my face, I was patronized again.I am a doctoral student, so the patronizing tone was ridiculous. In addition, I had to ask the same question over again about whether the issues with my eye were due to a viral or bacterial infection only to be told that the cultures would take to long to process. This information still would have been valuable to me so I could see whether I have an allergy or the issue was something else. After that whole debacle, I honestly want to give two stars, but at least the swelling and redness in my eye got better, and I saw improvement within hours. The doctor could use professional development courses.
111 Tre: Learn how to answer your phones and not have patients on hold for 15 minutes and then whom ever finally answers are rude.
strawberry jackson: Great friendly service
Just Jeff: My mom had a eye appointment she was seven minutes past the 15 minutes appointment. They told her she had to reschedule her appointment. I told the lady at the front desk that we had to find parking close enough to the door .
T Clark: Positive visit with physician and medical staff, especially Jessica, who was able to ask the “right” questions. Many times we patients aren’t sure if things are related, but having a knowledgeable assistant proves much worth to the medical group as well as the patient. On the other hand, my experience at checkout wasn’t as pleasant. Maybe pleasant isn’t the word, but (un)professional. The young lady checking me out was likely new and needed guidance from her nearest counterpart. This woman wasn’t interested in assisting her new co-worker nor me as the patient, as evidenced by her neglecting the questions asked by the new employee; mostly due to her personal cell phone use. Her cell phone was her priority, not her co-worker nor me.
Zachary Daugherty: From the time I scheduled my appointment to have a consultation for lasik, this office staff went above and beyond to reassure me and make me feel comfortable. Britney was super responsive and answered all questions I had while explaining the entire process. In my appointments, everyone in the building was always so welcoming. They’re by far the most personable medical staff I’ve experienced and multiple folks would make sure to drop in just to say hey. As cliche as it sounds, it felt like I was going to see family or close friends. Ask for Keely. She’s the best.As far as the procedure goes, I had relied on glasses/contact lenses for 20 years. When I opened my eyes a few hours after the procedure (listen to them when they tell you to take a nap), it was truly amazing. I still catch myself thinking that I need to go take out my contacts ant night out of habit. 2 weeks out and my vision is perfect. I recommend this office and procedure to anybody who might be on the fence. We are blessed to live so close to such a remarkable doctor and staff. Thank you, Dr Woodcock
T K: Scam, after paying $3500 was told they cant operate on the date they gave me, I would have to wait three months to get the surgery I already paid for
Rachel Smith: I was so hesitant at first about getting Lasik, but I am so HAPPY I did it. The main reason I did it was because of the girls at the office. They were so awesome and very informative through the entire process. If I had to do this process over again I would do it 100%! 10/10 recommend getting the surgery! 10/10 recommend getting it at Carolina Vision Center!!
Summer Jones: I love love love this place. My son was sent here at a very last minute call and they took him right back ended up doing emergency surgery the next morning and took great care of him. He was only 6 years old so he was very scared but they made him feel very comfortable! Great staff very clean and friendly can’t wait to go back for our follow up
Ronda H: I took my 97 year old grandma to this clinic and we had the best service! The receptionists and technicians are top notch! They are professional and knowledgeable with hearts of gold. Mobility is very difficult for my grandma but the whole team pitched in to help get her in position for the examinations and machines. We are very happy with the care we received today, thank you! Hopefully this review helps you make the right decision for your eye care.
Shelbs W. K.: I was very anxious going into the procedure for my Lasik eye surgery! But, between the nurses, other staff, and Dr. Woodcock talking me through every single detail and step of the way- made me able to get through this. Without that my nerves would have taken over. I listened to every detailed instruction they gave me and the next day I was blown away by how clear I could see! Especially after being in glasses since I was 8 years old. 10/10 recommend to get this procedure done, especially here.
Bethany Nelson: Fantastic staff all round. Everything was explained well and the procedure went very quickly. Bonus, I can see now. Thanks Team!
Sarah Johnson: The information concerning the procedure was explained thoroughly and in a manner that I could easily understand. Both Dr. Woodcock and Ms. Hurtado were very cordial and always answered any questions in a kind and attentive way. The staff is very knowledgeable and treats patients with respect. I am very satisfied with the procedure and my panoptix lenses. I can see well with no assistance needed fir near or distant vision. The staff at Highsmith Hospital were very reassuring throughout the time I was there.
Lib Smith: Checked with several who had used Dr. Woodcock and decided he was the best for my cataract surgery & new lens. Very glad I chose him to do a good job. Have had no problems.
Stella Young Stephenson: Efficient and professional eye care services. The staff was cordial and I went into the office right on time. I had a diabetic eye exam and felt they took time and care in examining my eyes. I liked the medical explanation that I received. Everything was explained in easy to understand language. Plan to return for my next eye appointment.
Melissa Godwin: There will be bad reviews on every place but remember most ppl that leave a review are usually the ones that only had a bad experience. Do not read them. I read every review for a couple different places and listened to word of mouth from friends of mine. I chose Dr Woodcock for several reasons. He was close by, his bad reviews were only about wait times and staff attitudes. Everyone I spoke with that had lasik loved the treatment. I went prepared for the worst customer service! Just being honest! I have had nothing but the best! I had practically no wait time!! I experienced no attitude from anyone there and you deal with a lot of ppl! Dr Woodcock was cracking jokes and after my procedure he stayed with me to make sure I was ok! I was a lil “extra” lol as a friend told me and I almost passed out. It HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM OR THE PROCEDURE- but he took the time to stay with me. He could have just left his girls there as they were all there too but he didn’t. That meant a lot! I went this morning 35 minutes early for my follow up, I was out in 30 min, before my actual appointment time! Everywhere will have bad days, don’t let the bad reviews leave a bad taste in your mouth! Make your own review! I can not tell you how much Dr Woodcock and his staff has changed my life!! Thank you all!
Brian McLure: Awesome experience! From the initial appointment to the follow-up after the procedure. Truly an A+ experience. Dr. Woodcock explained everything throughly before and during procedure and his staff is top of the line.

Nitin Nigam, M.D.: what do users think?
Tom Bresley: The most knowledgeable forward thinking retinal specialist I've ever seen. He taught me about my disease and what my risks were moving forward and why we should look at treating, not just monitoring the situation. He was simply amazing!

Sheel Patel, MD: what do users think?
Judy R: I found both Dr. Patel and his entire staff very helpful, pleasant, and patient throughout the entire process. I had cornea surgery done on both eyes (one at a time) so I did make multiple visits to the office. And yes both surgeries were a success!!! The staff was very thorough explaining each procedure leading up to the surgery as was the accounting dept. for the billing explanations. Would and have highly recommended them!
Denise Renfro: Don't know what to give it. After brief conversations they hung up on me. The first conversation was to inform me their appointments were pushing out until October and the second was whether I had an appointment with them before. I responded that I had not, and that I did want an appointment, they asked again saying "so you do want an appointment? I said yes I did and then they hung up.
diana green: my husband saw dr patel and he is a great dr. he is careing and explains everything to you , which is great.he makes you feel comfortable.if I could give him a 10 I would.
NITEBOOMER “NITEBOOMER”: I saw Dr. Patel just last week. OMG, he looks as though he's actually getting YOUNGER!! Very pleasant, very thorough, took his time and covered my upcoming procedure in depth. Only 4 stars, the other comes AFTER I have both eyes back and functioning properly. :-)Earnest J. Brown

Riggins J Wayne , OD, MD: what do users think?
Jaxon Baldy: Downright disrespectful when trying to explain some thing they did not try to explain properly to a person that was already agitated they just escalated the situation and then proceeded to threaten to call the cops on us because my brother fell onto the floor and try to accuse my aunt of abuse also make sure you ask them what form of paperwork you need because they don’t like to let you know any of that before your appointment honestly if I was not having issues with my eyes I would not go back here your staff needs to learn how to handle situationa especially the office manager
Ada Moody: Excellent .
Gale Irving: I Have always been treated with the upmost professionalism from the office staff and Dr. Riggins. Dr Riggins has performed different types of eye surgeries on me on three occasions. Each time he did his.best to keep me calm (I am high strung) and well educated regarding the procedures and I have had beautiful results. In my opinion he is best ophthalmologist in the state.
Jacky Ballard: I have been going to Dr. Riggins for awhile now and I really like HIM.....But his staff is really RUDE, they DO NOT return your phone calls. So if you have an EMERGENCY don't expect them to call you back.call911. Also they are very good at calling you a liar, the whole staff seems to stick together against what you know is the truth. I know I will never go back to them & I hope I have helped people to NOT waste your time going there. It's a shame Dr. Riggins doesn't hire good help or tries to resolve the problems.
Glenda Evans: Excellent! Dr. Riggins is the best..I always look forward to my appointments. .He is genuinely interested in giving each patient his best. I recommend him highly! !

Rebekah Bol: Dr. Bonaparte is patient and so kind. My daughter had to have her first appointment at two years old and was not an easy patient to say the least. Dr. Bonaparte took it all in stride, was patient, kind and so sweet. We have been seeing her for two years and I cannot recommend her more for children, she is amazing.
Jennifer Threatt: She is amazing with my daughter. Before the masks she always had a huge smile on her face and you can tell she loves what she does!
Barbara Mckoy: Bonaparte is a great doctor... But i feel like the staff cant handle special needs kids. I dont like how the staff talk to kids the wait is too long.
