Crystal Roy: I had a great experience purchasing clothing at this location while the big boss was there, but my experience returning items made me uncomfortable. I returned 2 items out of over $300 I had originally purchased.I wore one of the shirts one time but the material was uncomfortable and too warm for my liking, and I removed the price tag when I wore it as I intend to keep it. Upon my arrival to the store the door was locked past opening. I arrived with my receipt and the card I purchased the items with. I was told I couldn't return it without the original tag and I felt as if my integrity was in question. Naturally I disputed this as I have never heard of such nonsensical rules. I was firmly told that they made a "one time only exception" and the courtesy would not be extended again. I really don't appreciate being treated like that and I won't be shopping here again.

Hottianne Gordon: I have shopped with this company for 14 years as I have always been plus sized. Very disappointed today. Just spent $70 on a bra that is only $30 online but they don’t honor torrids online prices. Now I could I bought it online and shipped it to my house or the store and waited 5-7 days even though the bra was right infront of me ... but when you need a bra, you need a bra. Customer service said they couldn’t help bc the store chooses not to honor the online prices, Make it make sense. Down another notch in my book.

Jenny: I can find the things I like and know that fit nearly every time I walk in. Torrid really makes an effort to fit and flatter nearly any curvy gal. I don't like going to most other department stores for the embarrassment and frustration of not finding things that fit and flatter my figure. At Torrid, I find most things (sadly not formal wear) that fit for every season without looking like a potato sack. Styles keep up with the times and honestly, you really do get what you pay for. I shop both the online store and in-store. It's one of my happy places. 😊
Cassie Bejma: Love the clothes and the service is usually always fantastic but this last time I came in, an employee was helping me near the dressing room and when I came out to see something I was trying on in the big mirror, she mistakenly assumed I was pregnant and said a bigger size would give me room to grow.She of course apologized and I'm sure she feels bad about it and most anywhere else I feel like this could be excused but at a specifically plus size store, it seems like they should know better. It's like a cardinal rule for curvy girls: Never ever ever assume someone is pregnant. It can be really hurtful to a possibly already fragile self esteem.I ended up leaving with only a few of them items I wanted because I was so embarrassed and just wanted to get out of there.

Brought my mom in for her to get some personal items and when we cashed out my mom wanted the deal for the Buy 3 Get 2 underwear in which she did not get the deal because she didn’t bring up that second pair of underwear. When we got home we didn’t realize we didn’t get that 5th underwear and we went back to get it today in which we can not. Because we didn’t bring up. Well unlike other stores reminding you that you can get this deal she just continued checking us out . We will not be returning to this store because of the poor customer service if I didn’t have to leave a star I wouldn’t! Afford this place !!!

Then I went to get another layaway and the manner stop helping another customer to come over over there and tell me that corporate told her that I had to be sure I wanted my layaway because they weren't giving my money back this time.. despite what the other employee was telling me that I had 7 days. There was other people standing in line behind me I was totally embarrassed by her tone and raising her voice. I left ashamed

One employee yelled across the store at me, when she stopped gossiping, not to grab a shirt off a higher rack because the rack fell off and hit a customer on the head. She then said I couldn't try on a body suit like I didn't already know that. The other woman by the dressing room was more professional. I did get a cheap dress and shirt but I won't go back to this location.

KARA SAUNDERS: I went in to get something for my birthday. Trying to find something in a different color than black because my sister's told me that's all I wear. Plus I lost weight and didn't know what size I wore. Thank God for Gina! She could tell I was confused and lost about what to wear. She seen me wandering back and forth. Asked me did I need help and I'm so glad I said yes! She looked at me and said the size I needed and took me on the junior side of the store and picked out several outfits and then took me back to the fittings rooms and had me modeling several outfits! Felt like I was in a fashion show! The second outfit was the best one! I did try on the others they just weren't the same! Then she gave me the word and afterwards found the perfect jewelry to go with it! Gina is such a beautiful, loving and warm woman. Tina Davis: Though the store layout is nice in Westside Village, the customer service is not. I entered the store and was greeted by someone from the back of the store. That was the extent of the customer interaction while in the store. There were three associates in the store who were too busy having a conversation with each other rather than asking if I needed anything or a fitting room. At some point I noticed one associate who seemed to show up in every area that I was looking at clothes, again no customer interaction. I suppose that was her attempt at "loss prevention" profiling. I eventually had to ask for a fitting room and another associate opened the door. This happened before a few years back, yet against my better judgment I went back thinking that it was an isolated incident. The second visit is on me as I should not have expected this store to value customer service as one of their top priorities. Maybe this is the culture at this location. Negative customer service experiences influence where I choose to spend my money as well as the likelihood of my return. Unless I lower my expectations, this store will not get a third time to ignore me as a customer. For an organization that states that giving the customer the quality and attention they deserve is what sets it apart from the others, this must not apply to this store. I should have gone to the Loft like I originally intended.

The one in the mall has great customer service. It is the smallest and they have less clearance items. The one on Bragg Blvd. Is large and has good customer service and a decent amount of clearance items, but the selection is not as good as the one on 301. They have a great selection of clothes, big store. However, the girls that work there (the ones that have worked there the longest) all have nasty attitudes. Anyone can tell you that. The location looses business just because of that. There needs to be a way to give a survey on the receipt because it is time for a change at that location. They are just rude to everyone for any reason. Also, keep in mind you can NOT keep the hangers and the RETURN POLICY is 7 days.

My son had surgery so we weren't able to make it right back so I lost out on my money smh I called corporate and the lady was very rude like well I don't know what to tell you its policy smh after I use my store credit I will never shop there again.
