Charley Curry, Gabriela Ostendorf and Elizabeth Prince bring their expertise to Lower School students after school through a small group intensive program and a whole group intervention program. This Lower School program reinforces skills being taught in the classroom and bridges the gap for students that benefit from extra support.

Kaci Finney: My daughter struggled in public school so in second grade we moved to a private school that wasn’t very attentive to student needs. Towards the end of the school year I started looking and asking around and heard Riverside by multiple people and am so glad we made the move. The whole staff has been great from day 1. This year marks 5 years at Riverside and now I have 2 kids there. The superintendent and teachers have become family, I am so thankful for my RCA family.
Anette Schell: Riverside Christian Academy is an awesome school. The staff and administration is so helpful and efficient. Great school if you are looking for a Christian education.
Tiffany House: My daughter transferred from another private school to here and we are very blessed to have found the school that is perfect for our daughter and she doesn’t have to strive to be perfection. She is able to learn and be creative at her own pace while being uplifted by ALL staff and volunteers at RCA.
Carey Baillargeon: Hands down the best school around-everyone on their team is fantastic. From Mrs. Lynn at the front office to Dr. Wheeler (the principal)--they make you feel welcomed and everyone is always so helpful! My daughter attends kindergarten and her teacher is the best there is! My first meeting was with Mrs. Johnston for my daughters assessment--shortly thereafter I met with Dr. Wheeler. They both made me feel so comfortable--I had done tours of several schools in the area, but once I met the faculty at this school it was very clear where my daughter would be attending her first few years of school. The academics in this school are the best around...I was referred to this facility by word of mouth, and it hasn't disappointed me whatsoever. My daughter is excelling in all subjects, she gets a LOT of one on one attention during school hours. We love Riverside!

April Smith: What an amazing blessing it is to be involved in such a great school. Our son is in kindergarten at RCA and from the very beginning we have been made to feel like family. Mrs Johnston was an amazing help from the beginning with my multiple questions. Our first meeting with Dr Wheeler was for our child's assessment for grade placement. He made our son feel comfortable and he also made me feel comfortable. Dr Wheeler was very welcoming during our first meeting and the decision was made for our son to attend school at RCA. There has never been a single moment I have regretted this decision. His teacher is beyond amazing and informs us parents of everything going on and what we can do at home to help our children succeed in the classroom. Since our son has started school at RCA I have become a daily volunteer at the school. To see in person the level of love and caring from the staff for all students is beyond belief. Starting at the top with Dr Wheeler down through every staff member and volunteer. RCA is family. The staff treat each other like family and they feel the same about their students. My son is happy and can't wait to go to school each day. Days off for holidays and such are disappointing to him. I can't imagine a better environment for a child to grow in and we are so blessed to have this opportunity. I pray God continues to bless Dr Wheeler and RCA to grow beyond what was ever imagined. And I know that I and my family will continue to be a part of it for a long time to come.
Rebecca Minor: There are some great things going on at this school... But there are some insanely not great things going on as well. Pray diligently before sending your young ones here. My family was seriously hurt by several people here. All the way from the Administration, one of my children's teachers, and cussed out by a volunteer in the church office. Who is still volunteering there... There are a lot of wonderful teachers at Riverside and I love Ms. Johnston to pieces. But use caution when voicing complaints and how you feel. Your children and you might not be invited back or asked to leave right away.
ernest szymkowiak: I had went to the middle school my nephew would be going to this year and just knew he would not do well. I called them and the next day meet with them. They had him come the next day to see how he would like the school. At the end of the day he told me the deal was sealed. Great school.
Matt Cross: The superintendent at this school, Dr. Lin Wheeler, has been a part of trying to tear down a school called Freedom that God has built up. He even used to be a part of Freedom during the time that all these allegations are pointing to 4 years ago. People think he is a man of God, but he doesn't act like it. He is just going to bring Riverside down. DO NOT send your kids here.
