We were looking for a couple items, and the manager even told us another store where we might find something that they didn't sell (Ended up saving money because the other stores price ended up being about half of any price we could find for the same item online). He also told us he was going out of town to get some bikes, and to come back there next week. He put them out right at the time he said they'd be there, we got first look and bought 2 bikes for our kids!

Christopher Lowry: It's been 20 years since I purchased a bicycle so I called first and Jeff was extremely helpful in giving me the rundown of prices, quality, etc. Arrived at the store and was greeted by Sandy. She helped us throughout the entire purchasing process. My wife and I were able to get bikes perfectly made for us with accomodations like a better seat and different handlebar grips completed on the spot. A mechanic saw I was struggling to get the bikes in the car so he came out and showed us how to easily take off the front wheel to make it fit and how to put it back on for when we got home. Truly a one stop shop with amazing employees who go above and beyond!

Resurrection Hobbies: Went in to get some hydraulic brake handles swapped and installed on my axum walmart bike I've been upgrading. They had 2 week wait times on bikes. Which I was not happy about, but I agreed. Ended up looking around and found a nice liv tempt 4 for my wife, bought it the same day. The mechanic was nice and fixed my bike the same day so me and my family could ride together for my first father's day. He did great work and the sales lady was super helpful.

The phone message should be kept as training point. So many businesses forget how to leave a message professionally. I got up the next morning and rode back to exchange the Shimano Bleed Kit. Things happen. Still my review is authentic and added stars for the responsiveness. The bike ship is the only one nearest me. I tend to order online to avoid the sketchy traffic of Fayetteville.Original:I called the bike shop for a Shimano bleed kit and fluid- something needed for an emergency repair. I was told they had two. I live 7 miles or more from the shop. They close at 5 and the current time was 4 on a Friday. After a good traffic filled ride I ended up at the shop in time to also look around. Purchased the items and rode back home through low traffic neighborhoods. I open the bleed kit to find the package already cut open, fluid in the in the syring hose, and no idea if all the are in the kit. Clearly says single use and has been previously used! I am not happy and still cannot fix what I need fixed. I have called and left a voice message as they are closed for the day. At least the fluid appears untampered. This is ridiculous.

Sarah Hadi: I stopped into Hawley’s yesterday as I was in the market for a bike and had passed the store quite a few times before, always curious to check it out.I walked in and a gentleman named Mark (based on my receipt…we didn’t introduce ourselves formally so I’m hoping it truly was Mark who helped me) approached me. I told him I was looking to buy a bike, and he immediately started asking me questions to gauge what kind of riding I planned to do. He took me to a couple different sections of the store based on my answers and explained each type of bike in detail. He answered my questions (many of which were rudimentary at best, but he handled it so well) and even asked my price preferences, which I appreciated. From there, he immediately had a specific bike in mind that he took down from the ceiling, and explained all the specs to me.I rode the bike out back and instantly loved it. Mark got me suited up with some accessories including a car rack which he installed, and I was good to go. He was so friendly and personable, and he really didn’t have any type of sales-pitch, just two people having a normal, laid back conversation about bikes.I also appreciated how knowledgeable he was without him really getting into the weeds about anything. It was just enough information to helpme choose the right bike without me feeling overwhelmed.I took the new bike out for a spin when I got home and had such a blast after over 15 years without riding. This store has great employees, excellent service, and a seemingly very well stocked inventory for just about anything you might need to ride.Would absolutely recommend, and look forward to servicing my bike here in the future.
