Aaron Plank: It's probably the worst experience I have had at a Chinese place. I am almost never negative, but when I say my dog could have seasoned the food more, I am not exaggerating. I had to load my "fried" rice with soy sauce because it tasted blander than white rice and took my main dish home to recook it with some flavor. Their salmon for sushi is about 90% fat. Buffet sushi has better ingredients. Had really high hopes for the place because of reviews, but both our dishes and sushi were worse than the frozen food I eat.

Brandon Sellers: Was not expecting such a great niche place like this in the middle of North Carolina. This is awesome Japanese street food at a great price point. The spicy ramen was delicious and the Karaage chicken was perfectly tender and had a great crunch. Great execution with an awesome overall idea that anyone including kids should really enjoy. Something you would expect in a big city. Five stars.

Alonso: At first glance, this place seemed very promising boy oh boy was I mistaken sadly and this is not hate on the owner, or to hate on the employees this is positive criticism depending on how you take it I ordered edamame very very small portion for the price if have to be frankly honest ive been to many places that serve edamame for the same price that serve more all serve about the same but this place just gives out less than half a handful. I also ordered a spicy misu Ramen and honestly the same infraction was seen portion size. For the price there could have been one or two more slivers of pork. And i understand the argument that if i want better then just go to the other places. Well I thought umami would be cost friendly for miso ramen or at least give me just a lil more for what i was paying but honestly it just turned out to be overhyped man i apologize but it just is. Ended up getting McDonalds afterward cause i was left hungry in all honesty.

She was trying to turn us away 45 minutes before close. She was also on her phone the entire time til we got our food. Amocoru: The reviews drastically overrate this restaurant just like most things in this city. The chashu and ramen eggs both tasted great, but that's where the positive ended. The shumai was fishy. The tonkotsu broth tasted like lightly flavored stock with ginger in it. It wasn't creamy and thick and didn't coat the noodles at all. My wife's chashu-men also just tasted bland and like soy sauce and ginger. Absolutely 0 depth to the broth at all. The noodles had a great texture but the broths had less depth than a grocery store ramen packet.

Michelle Nguyen: I’m staying in Fayetteville for a month for my clinical rotations and Wasabi is close to where I’m staying. I’m soooo obsessed with this restaurant!! I’ve eaten here 4 times and I have really enjoyed the freshness and depth of flavor with everything I’ve got. The Hibachi Salmon has got to be the BEST I’ve ever had. The portion is huge and the salmon is so fresh and flavorful!! I’m going to miss this place!

Rachelle Hinton: Came to this location before for dine-in and the floors were sticky. Thought I would give them one more try but received horrible service. Placed a to go order tonight. Once we got to our seat we were not seen by a waiter for 15mins, there were 4 servers standing around and about 3 tables (1 was paid out, one was eating and one had just gotten served soup) in the whole restaurant. Once we were finally acknowledged and order 3 waters. We waited 7 more minutes for her to never come back with waters. Over all we spent 30minutes in the restaurant and nothing ever hit out tables. I get that there are shift changes and such. But for no one to acknowledge you for 30mins. You are still open with people to take care of.

The sweet, young host (Jaylen?… I’m pretty sure that’s what he said) made sure we were taken care of, since we were seated in he front booth. Very nice waitstaff. The fam was happy and fed.
