There’s no other thrift stores in the area quite like ours or that comes even close to offering the massive selection of new and used items like we do. When owners Bob and Peggy Thompson first opened our doors in 1974, we only had 3,000 square feet to work with, plus a Volkswagen bus. Bambino is committed to the safety of our families and babysitters. In order to be active on Bambino, every sitter must receive a recommendation from a community member. Each parent and sitter also goes through a multi-point vetting process.

We leverage location, social connections, and personalized recommendations to create trusted relationships between families and sitters.


Bambino offers the largest network of recommended sitters. Our sitters provide flexible resources for occasional help, backup child care, before and after school care, date nights and more.
