Janet K.: I have to agree with other reviewers. The used furniture at this shop is incredibly overpriced. My husband and I saw a few pieces we were interested in but for the prices listed and the fact that we would have to refinish/refurbish the items in order to use them we decided we may as well just buy new.This place has tons of furniture too, rooms and rooms worth. Apparently they are not serious about selling it, just collecting it. Such a shame.Employees also follow you around uncomfortably. Probably watching for theft but it was a bit insulting as we were just looking for furniture and you can't stick a dresser or end table down your pants! It made us want to leave pretty quickly.

Nick Deane: My friend and I felt very uncomfortable shopping here on 4/22/23. The building has three rooms to browse through and after leaving the first room we were followed through the rest of the store.We saw four employees working that day, including the one at the front checkout. While in the second room, one employee in an electronic wheelchair zoomed around the perimeter to keep an eye on us. Then another male employee approached us and suggested that if we couldn't find anything, he would find something for us to purchase.All four employees that we had seen previously happen to have made their way to the last room the same time we did. It was a big production. Lots of talking back and forth about how they need to move or fix things that just always happened to be near us. As we go to leave the last room, the same man from earlier suggests that we cannot shop if we have our hands in our pockets. Then him and another employee, apparently finished with their very important tasks, decide to walk 2-3 steps behind us as we head towards the front of the store. They seemed in much of a hurry, so I stop to let them by since why else would they be so close. They stopped too.My friend is a white female, and I'm a person of color. All employees we saw were white. A person of color and her family were being helped when we entered and the interaction seemed fine. But they were already in the process of checking out, perhaps they were followed around as well.When we entered the store, I was asked very directly what I was looking for by the employee in the electronic wheelchair. I didn't know I needed to have a shopping list for a thrift store.

Allnrepair: Furniture is a bit pricey, but other than that you can find some really unique pieces for a great price!

Rachel Bohrman: The prices are shockingly high for furniture that is clearly used, and most pieces are very outdated (and not in a cute, retro way either). Go if you like, but don't expect a bargain.

Really worth the trip just to look and stroll though the shop and admire all the quality and cleanliness of shops furniture displays.A must see for anybody wanting to furnish any room or their entire home.There are a few surprises quality "Easter eggs that people would appreciate.If you love estate sales, flea markets and want to save the travel. Missy Capobianco: I had inquired about selling a piece of furniture and the gentleman who answered the phone was very short and rude with me before I could ask him any questions. All I said to him is that I was looking to sell a piece of furniture and was wondering what the process was he stated "we are short staffed and can't pick it up today." I explained I wasn't looking for them to pick it up today but was in fact just looking for information first, I even explained that I would pay for a U haul to bring it to them. He than asked what I was asking for in price and when I said I wanted just 50% of what I paid he cut me off and said "We can't help you." Their website says they are family owned and friendly and are happy to help, but this gentleman was not.

Ronnie Hutchins: I went in today to sell a medical bed and this guy tells me to take pictures. I get home and take the pictures and call him back. He tells me he doesn’t buy medical beds. He said he thought I said Executive desk. How in the hell does medical bed sound like executive desk. I normally don’t deal with these type of people and will definitely avoid this type of business in the future.

Lindsey York: Not a typical thrift store!!!I thought I would check this place out (I was looking for a small couch or futon) but it’s not really a thrift store. Most prices are super high compared to other thrift stores. The lady told me they buy a lot of the furniture from the manufacturer. So you may save a little vs. buying it from the actual store. Some of the furniture they buy from people is still really expensive. Not impressed.

And rented a U-Haul van from them also to transport it home! Wow they saved me so much money and time! They have a lot of high quality items with very reasonable prices. CandR customs: We found this place not too long ago, and every visit has been great. The staff have always friendly and helpful, and are willing to work with you. On top of that, there are so many things in this place we like to just come and look around for an hour or two. You never know what you might find in here.

Cari Marston: Milbourne sold us $1100.00 GE washer and dryer set that does not stay running long enough to dry a load and refuses to fix it without us having to pay for it.We purchased a newer front loading GE washer and dryer set from Milbournes. We paid 1100.00 for this set, and told them that we would be back with truck and trailer to pick them up. When we went to pick it up, Lisa, the owner, who had helped us and was testing washer outside with a hose and thought that the water valve on the washer was not working properly so she insisted on installing another one before she let us have it and would deliver it to our home free. Which we thought was because of thier good customer service, however, before you set something on your showroom floor, shouldn't you make sure it is in working order then and not after your customer takes off work, has to go home to get truck and trailer hooked up, drive to your location only to be told "it's not working, we have to fix it and will deliveried it to you". We were still pleased with the set and the service, just irrtitated.We were told that we had a 30 day warranty with this set. (Which should not have been a problem given how new the set was.)The first time we used the washer, the gasket in the front of the machine was wrinkled and pooling water at the door so when you opened the door it spilled over a cup of water out on the floor. I called Milbournes and Lisa told me that the washer worked and was not broke and therefore they were not going to fix it. My husband called her Husband and after threatening to take them to court, he agreed to fix it.When Lisa came out to fix it, We also told her the dryer would run for 10 or 12 minutes then shut off. She did not have the part to fix it with and said she would have to order it and would be back the following week and not to use the dryer in the mean time. I also told her then that the washer would not allow hot water to go in at all and that the valve was plugged (which is the part they had to replace to begin with). She agreed to replace it along with the sensor that was bad.The next week she did come to fix both washer and dryer but it did not solve the dryer problem. It was raining and she had her son in the car and said that if it continues to stop running to call her and she would come back out to fix it. (She says she went to school to learn about repairs on these machines and yet has no idea what is causing the problem.) I can hit the side of the dryer and it will come back on and she says that it is just a blown fuse. A blown fuse will prevent it from working at all, (My husband is an ASE Certified Mechanic and deals with them everyday)I called today and she told me that it would be $85.00 service fee and the cost of the part, which she is insisting again is just a fuse. I am outraged that we trusted this company to sell us a good reliable set and paid considerable money for a "used" set that she assured me they "go through them completely to make sure they are running good as new". I would NEVER recommend anyone buy anything you expect to work from them. (I also purchased a baby swing from them that was battery operated and was completely rusted on the inside and had to be thrown away) They are very pleasant people to deal with until you have a problem and then they act like you are stupid and have an "oh well" attitude. We have filed complaint with Attorney General and will be taking them to court as well.

Lisa Moreno: The current manager is hateful in this store alot of prices are high a picture that costs 22.00 in there is brand new online for 16.99 and alot of things are damaged or broken in this store so be careful and look over what you buy I have been going to this store for 10 years and this is the first time that I have seen prices like this in the store it's always been fairly cheap not on everything but some things depends on what it is the manager goes online to price an item then prices it higher than you can buy it brand new overall the other employees are nice and friendly there and helpful but this store could use alot of improvement

MJ B Galendez: My daughter and I enjoy thrifting and saw this little hidden gem at Legion Road. It was our first tome there and this place is pretty clean and organized. We happen to go there on a dollar clothing day and scored us several clothing for a buck. The ladies there were friendly and I was given a reward card. Spend $10 to earn a punch on your punch card and when you collect 5 punches, you get 20% off your next purchase. It was easy to navigate the store and I came on a good day. My daughter found some pants, as she is into vintage clothing. They have several other locations and I hope to visit the other locations in the near future.
