Krystal Allen: I have held off on writing this review for months, but after not receiving a refund that was offered and promised to me in November and being ghosted I feel like I have no choice. I had my daughter's 4th birthday at BalloonZ in October 2022. The planning process was great, but the execution was lacking. The party started late, the decor was not complete, with elements and centerpieces missing, and the food was not what was agreed upon. I expected catered food and was given platters from Harris Teeter. The food also arrived late. I was very disappointed, but tried my best to be understanding. I communicated my disappointment with the owner in person after the party and via email within days. She agreed that I was owed a refund, but since then she has not responded to any of my emails and has failed to produce a refund. At this point it's simply the principle. I can't recommend that anyone do business with BalloonZ.
bryana woods: So today was our girls 5th birthday party and Tonya blew me away! When I walked inside and saw what she had done I cried. It was more than I could have imagined and the pictures do not do today justice. Thank you for the bottom of my heart for making her birthday absolutely amazing! I willMOST definitely be booking again for our sons 1st birthday ❤️

I am still getting rave reviews about the venue. BalloonZ is an amazing event space that offers full service packages. Planning any event can be stressful, but Tonya made it so much easier with her guidance, organizational skills, suggestions, responsiveness and positive attitude. She truly helped bring my vision into fruition! Once I arrived the day of my events, I was able to just relax and enjoy the experience and Tonya ensured everything went smoothly. I would recommend BalloonZ to anyone who is searching for a venue for A special event.

Charnae Harris: I’m giving a 3 because their shop looked nice and looked like they had a lot to offer for balloon arrangements but their website is falsely advertising. I was looking to order two number balloons for my husbands birthday and when I called the store, a representative told me I would need to purchase in store if I wanted them blown up. I drive to the store which is 35 min away for them to tell me they only do balloon bouquets. It is unfortunate because I wanted to give this business a try but false advertising and a lack of transparency with your customers is NOT worth my money!

John Aiken: If I could give them 0 stars I would. I can’t really rate then since they never bothered to have the decency to return my calls or email. I contacted them about creating something for my spouses’s 60th because I wanted something great and I figured whatever it cost would be better than my trying doing it myself. But then no one seemed to care enough to actually contact me about what I was looking for. Now I’m faced with having to come up with a plan B. Buyer beware.

Travis Thornton: A true one stop shop and hidden gem in North Raleigh. Stop in and see theses two ladies for a custom Balloon Bouquet and a Flower arrangement that would make any woman smile and definitely keep you out the dog house. While you’re there, Also check out there HUGE one of a kind all White venue space, which I believe is the only true all white space in the Raleigh/Durham and surrounding areas. The Balloonz staff is very customer service oriented and have many add on’s that will truly make your experience and event one of a kind. Just to name a few, custom up lighting that really transforms that all white space, Hedge walls, pestidals in almost every size, and shape, photo-both, and two elegant built in photo backdrops. If you have a dream, vision or prop that you are thinking of just let the staff at Balloonz know and they’ll make it happen for you!

Rachelle Johnson: I booked BalloonZ’s event space for a girl empowerment photoshoot and I couldn’t have chosen a better venue. Tonya (The owner) responded to my email checking availability almost immediately and all subsequent correspondence was handled in the same fashion. I told her my plan and she literally helped me bring it to life. I also ordered a few balloons to enhance the shoot and she delivered in a major way The event was 4 days ago and the larger balloons are still standing. I throughly enjoyed every moment of my experience and will definitely book again.

Andrew Lees: We've gotten balloons for our son's birthday multiple times now and the team at Party City has done an incredible job to make sure everything gets taken care of properly with our order. Delivering 75 balloons is a challenge and they were able to coordinate that with multiple delivery cars so that we didn't have to worry about it! In particular, John and Destiny went above and beyond to make sure our order was processed and delivered on time. We worked with Destiny last year as well and she's awesome! I can't recommend them enough, and we'll definitely be getting more balloons at Party City.
Ada Prudente: me and my boyfriend always come to this party city the employees are often rude. Today he was standing outside while his car was getting fixed. He had just got off work so he was in his work outfit ( obviously not clean ) waiting for me to pick him up, then someone approaches him threatening that the employees were going to call the cops if he didnt leave .. He was standing there less than 5 minute. They shouldn't assume since he is a poc that he was going to do something wrong when he was just standing there waiting for me. Do better party city !! Your employees could of left the whole situation alone and not have to threaten to call the cops for no reason! Not everyone in a work uniform is sketchy stop assuming!

I GET TO THE STORE ONLY TO BE TOLD SOMEONE ELSE PICKED MY ORDER UP BECAUSE THERE WAS ANOTHER CUSTOMER WITH THE SAME LAST NAME AS ME .
Ravi Patel: All of the employees were very helpful with getting our gender reveal box ready! We showed up and handed our results to them, they worked very quickly and got us the box within 30 minutes. Destiny was the biggest help and made the day for us!

Emily: Horrible service and Customer service. I had bought my sweet sixteen balloon bouquet and I was told it was a two hour wait to get them inflated. Four hours later I personally had to call them to get a notification about my ballon order and I was told they were still not ready. I was heading for dinner already and I asked the employee if I could pick them up the next day. I arrive the morning of the next day and to my surprise my ballon’s were not properly done. Half of them at the register the other somewhere else. I was horrified and upset. As I talked with them about the situation they blamed it on me for not picking them up the day I had ordered them. Keep in mind I had warned them that I was not going to be able too. Then as they took there time to inflate the balloons they start talking about football and the most random things. I believe that was not the time to play around while a upset customer was their. I usually don’t give bad reviews but this in counter was just that horrible. Hopefully they can get it together but for now I rather buy my own helium tank and inflate my own balloons.

He never acknowledged me after I stood at the checkout waiting for several minutes. He didn’t tell me the total- simply held out his hand for payment. I don’t think he said a word to me.Today I came back hoping for a better experience. Instead there was one register open and 8 people in line. Other employees were watching the line back up but it was a good ten minutes before another register opened.

Valerie Harris: We used Theresa for decorating our church campus for VBS. She could see the big picture, had great vision, and she can build anything from balloons- super talented. Our kids and families love the extra special touches she adds, so that our events are always memorable. She is easy to work with and super creative! Will definitely being using her services again.

Diana Angelastro: Theresa did my sister’s baby shower and the results were stunning! She created an entire wall of balloons, accented with beautiful balloon flowers. She also did several freestanding displays and centerpieces. It was a large venue and she made sure the decor was balanced and not overdone. Very tasteful and beautifully designed. Also very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Theresa for all your balloon needs, both large and small!

All my guests,and at the last event even some of the wait staff,told me how great the decor was!Theresa goes above and beyond! She will send pictures and talk to you both in person and on the phone to make sure she understands completely what you are wanting/needing. She has amazing vision when it comes to balloon decor.For this last event I could not envision what she was talking about, she created 2 centerpiece ideas, blew up some foils and came over that evening (in pouring rain) so I could see her vision!There is no one else I would recommend any more then Theresa of Balloon Designs of Raleigh (Aka Triangle Balloons)! Try her services out you won't be disappointed!

N. Mobley-Short: Theresa is a very sweet person and I understand that she is extremely busy BUT there has to be a better way to conduct business. Numerous of times I sent emails and left several voice messages but wouldn't hear back from her for several days or a week. On March 6th I begged her to please respond to my email or messages because I had been waiting since February 23rd to hear back from her. I even begged her to send me an invoice because time was approaching. Despite the fact there was a lack of communication, I was still willing to take my chances because the photos of her work looks phenomenal. Since 2/15/17 I tried to finalize the plans for the balloon decor for an upcoming baby shower I'm planning on 4/8/17. She told me she wanted to see the location of the event so that she could get a better idea of what size balloons we needed. I met her at the clubhouse last Tuesday 3/14/17 (the date she said she was available). She left promising that she was going to send me photos of what she thought would be pretty for the baby shower. I tried reaching her Wednesday 3/15/17 and then Saturday 3/18/17 but didn't receive a response until this morning on 3/20/17. This morning I received an email from her on 3/20/17 at 2:21am stating "Nicole I regret to inform you that the 8th is no longer available. I already had 1 customer deposit on that date and am sorry but I have had another customer call and pay a holding fee for the 8th". My first thought......."WOW! 2 weeks prior to the baby shower after all of the apologies for the delayed response to end up completely bailing on me and then to say she accepted a holding fee from someone who called but I've been waiting for an invoice since February 23rd". I would've appreciated much prior notice.

Alissa Johnson: Madeline is an absolute doll to work with! Her work is outstanding! We celebrated my sister in law’s 40th birthday with peacock colors. They arrived early to set up and everyone at the venue was in awe of how amazing the balloon arch looked.(The arch we had didn’t include the 40 balloons, just the arch and purple backdrop. The 40 was added by other attendants).I highly recommend them for celebrations and will be using them again!!

It’s possible the goods are in the back in the store, but a lack of employees makes it difficult to unload the products. Honestly, it’s easier to order online. I was told I needed to pay $1 for THE BAG!It's not the amount, it's the fact that I just made and paid for a purchase, when I asked for a Bag, not a gift bag, a Freaken Party City Plastic bag,I was told the bag is a dollar! Since when does a Paying Customer have to Pay for A Bag For Their Purchase!I'm DISGUSTED with my Experience, and I'll go back to acting like they are no longer open.I made it without them when they closed down on us, I'll just go back to acting like they are still closed!RIDICULOUS!!!

Raquel Ledbetter: Came in right at 10 A.M. and the attendant was very helpful as I had to order balloons last minute for a work celebration. She was very kind and helpful and helped direct me to which balloons were available.
Jessica Vega: It’s an ok store. A lot of the stuff is all over the place and the service you get here is pretty hit or miss. I’ve had excellent visits, but during my most recent one I had a pretty rude cashier who didn’t even speak to me other than to tell me the total and to put my card in the machine. It seemed like I was an interruption to whatever else she was doing.

I picked my balloons and it took, maybe 10 minutes. Even the manager asked me if I was finding everything okay. My wife was super happy with hers balloons. Thanks again for excellent customer service.
