Cedwin Edwards: This is about their hiring process. Was told I had the job by the manager, as soon I references verified, got them all done by end of day, called to following thursday to let the manager know and he was busy. Left a message with an associate and i guess my message wasnt given. Didnt get in touch with Mr. Musa until monday, about the references and was expecting to start that week only to told, I'll let you know the following Wednesday, which didnt happen, after these othe interviews. So I have the job but you still interviewing for the job. And to add to that I was sought by a corporate representative that asked me to fill out an application and let him know when done so we can get the process started as soon as possible. He disappeared and never heard from him again. Lol it's been 3weeks. The corporate individual is Mr. Jeffrey Williams.All that to say this, if corporate and store management act this way in the hiring process, imagine how they treat their customers in store and on shop deliveries.

Not only were the folks behind the counter super friendly, but also extremely knowledgeable about technical specifications of different types of oil. Then, because I needed to put the oil in the car on location, not only was I offered a funnel and paper towels, but help without even asking for it. They specifically came outside to ask—definitely above and beyond!

Rich Roark: I will never buy anything else from Advance Auto Parts. On 12/29 I ordered online from the Advance Auto Parts store at 4009 Wake Forest Rd, Raleigh a Fully Automatic Battery Charger/Starter unit and paid $179 Upon getting it home and reading the manual, I found there is no way to use this without actually plugging in the unit and either taking the battery from your car to charge with the plug-in unit OR be near an electrical outlet to plug in this charger/starter. Who in their right mind would have thought you'd always be near an electrical outlet?! So I tried to return it 12/31 (never having used it) and was told company policy is all electronics are not returnable. The cashier said she asked someone in back (presumbably a manager) and no dice, no discussion. Nothing on the website in purchasing the unit says it's not returnable. Nothing on the receipt says it's not returnable. Only informs to check the return/refund policy online...on a receipt you get AFTER you've purchased. Now I'm quite po'd that I purchased a unit that does not do what i thought and will never use as intended, AND Advance Auto does not disclose the "not returnable" until AFTER you've made a purchase. I will NEVER EVER buy Advance Auto again and will discourage anyone else from doing so.

Although this location was out of the way, I’d make a special trip based on the customer service. I don’t accept employees to have all the answer but your willingness to go above and beyond to locate an answer speaks volume!

I had placed a order online for the Six Forks Napa Store for my battery needs and that attendant there told me I had to wait until Monday and I had to have it so I will not go to Walkers in Six Forks Rd. ever again. Trevor Everette: I want to be completely clear on my experience. You can read this and think this is some one off situation because a place is short staffed… Everywhere is short staffed. If you are actively sitting in front of your counter and can’t help someone with a dead battery sitting right in front of your store then you have no point being in business. I thought I found a great deal on a battery in the area, reviews for the store looked great, but when I got here I was basically told short staffed, oh well can’t help you. If you are looking at prices and think this is a place you should bring your business, I would not based on the experience I had today. To be told at an auto parts place that offers “services” that they cannot help me with a dead car battery sitting in front of their store, it is beyond me. Glad I pay for good road side assistance from AAA. Ridiculous.
cortland tree Service: I was on a return trip home from Florida to New York with my family, after a tire shop put new tires on but missed torquing my lug nuts on my left rear wheel.long story short wheel came off ruining my lug studs and many more parts I called desperately to every auto parts store I could to get parts and to no surprise they couldn’t help whilst they may of had some of the parts but I had no way to get them.Then I called walker auto and truck parts with Frankie Moore and Tim Davis who not only found what I needed they had it in stock and the amazing part they brought me the parts and stayed till I knew they were the right ones thanks guys you really are a blessing so the next hr I spent putting it back together and we were off on the highway.

Audio Head: I've been dealing with this team for years from inside sales to the machine shop. Woody at parts is great, Joey in the machine shop was awesome. Josh in the machine shop is awesome. Ray Chilcote: Dealt with the parts shop here several times. Good work. Front desk? Dual Legend batteries 11/29/2018. Started failing end of 12/2020. Took in for a test Feb 2021. Said I needed new. Didn't offer $1 above core for 21 month old batteries I bought at this store. I'm not spending over $400 on batteries for no warranty. Walmart does better than this. If you want repeat customers, at least do us right by the warranty.
Patrick Martin: I just haven't had the best experience here. First I brought some engine parts to get cleaned. I'm assuming you have to specify what "clean" means to these guys because when I came to pick up my "cleaned" parts, they looked the same as before. Same oxidation in the same spots and gasket material still left on the flat surfaces.I decided to give them a second try, and dropped off a cylinder head to get "cleaned." This time I specified that I wanted the rust ALL OFF the cylinder head and I wanted the valve and valve springs taken off. They were able to take the valve springs off, but the cylinder head was still rusty. I was disappointed. Two stars for being able to do simple jobs like taking the valve springs off and the valves out. But no more than two stars because they can't get my parts nice and clean when I ask them to. If you want a good job done with the cylinder head looking decent, take your parts somewhere else.

The store is a little hidden and not visible from Main Street going. Only found it by chance cutting through street with my gps directing me. Most customers look like auto body shops surrounding next door. Would visit again if in the neighborhood.

Andy Lansdowne: Went in for a quick item and when I was checking out I was asked not to use my discount because the manager was busy. The tone of the associate was very rude and condescending when I politely said declined the request. “I don’t know when he will be free.” I am sorry, O’Reilly must pay really well because I don’t have money to give away. Car maintenance is already expensive and Ineed to save everywhere I can. If you cannot honor the discounts you offer, don’t offer the discount. Auto-zone didn’t need a manager for a discount.
Guadalupe Santiago: Came in during the afternoon. Both employee were on their phones. I ask them a question and was responded with a I don’t know with really bad attitude. Seems like they were upset that I interrupted whatever they were doing on their phones. This is my 2nd time coming and the employees are always rude!!

It was raining outside so he followed me outside to help me install them. You can get auto parts at a lot of places, but not service like I got today at this store. Dan C: I’ve had terrible luck here. I ordered a hinge kit for my door, waited a couple days and it arrived missing pieces. I ordered a replacement, came in a couple days later and they couldn’t find it. Now I called in to verify that they had a certain size of hose and they said they did. Arrived and they don’t, not even close. Manager came to look into and found nothing. I told him I’d try to find it elsewhere and he said ok. No goodbye and most importantly not even an apology for having me drive in AGAIN for no reason

He found my bulb and then came out and changed it. My light cover was difficult to get out but Christian and his co worker Teo worked hard to figure it out for me. This place is a little out of my way but I will make the trip in the future because I was treated so kindly. Cannot recommend enough.

I am a loyal customer of O'Reillys and have been doing business with them for years but the employees they have now days is just simply put "inexperienced ". I will be back but please do some job training for the young guys and girls you have so that they can continue to serve the auto parts industry.

EMPRESS Goddess: I love this place but the amount that you pay for parts is really high for you to get defective part and have to keep on taking it back the warranty is okay but the warranty don't cover everything when it says limited warranty the amount of time that it takes to go back and forth with putting a piece on taking a piece off and you have to pay a mechanic is unacceptable the staff is amazing but it's just the merchandise
