Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University: what do users think?
Bengali Magnolia: I am very excited to start my FT MBA this fall. Hence, went to visit the b-school. The whole business programme runs in a single building and that's in the main campus. The other campus is the Centinnial campus which is a 40 minutes walk from the main campus. Its a really thrilling programme and cant wait starting my classes!
Praveen Sriram: Graduated from here with an Accounting degree specializing in Information Systems in May 2006. Made some good friends who I still keep in touch with and learned a lot. Highly recommend the Poole College of Management and might come back here for my MBA. Removed 1 star due to rising tuition & fees but everything else is just great. :)
Martin Brossman: Tom Byrnes does such an excellent job at this school. I have really enjoyed speaking here and working with the classes. They have a clear commitment to connecting the students to real world experiences and contacts.
Ting Zhu: it is at hillsborough. that is all I know.

Concord Hospitality: what do users think?
Rob: The n word being said twice to a Black manager as well as him being threatened with assault twice, one time which I was a witness to, IS OKAY with their HR lady and direct Regional Manager for someone to keep their job. Doesn't seem like "Core Values" or even a great place for support for Black professionals. Shameful.
Lacie Keesee: I am excited about this company!! They just took over my hotel as the new management company! The sky is the limit with Concord Hospitality!
Miguel Soto: Definitely a great company to work for if you are in the look to expand and grow in the hospitality industry.
Lindsey Ahn: Very RUDE customer service. Not limited to but including Marie in reservations.
Jeanne Roberson: worked for this company for 6 years, never a problem. Hired new GM, new Maintenance Supervisor; nothing but trouble.
Rushawn Hunt: Great company to work for
Mic P: Critical:ProfessionalismI have been working at a Milwaukee property and it's been a revolving door since day one, despite the Concord mission to retain employees. Management has gradually kept reducing hours with any meetings with employees. Meetings are a professional way to handle issues. Management does not know how to resolve issues.
Mayur Parmar: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Value
JK Belle: I love this company! My husband has worked for them for 7 years and went from night auditor at a Hyatt House to AGM. He had prior hotel experience and none of the other mgt companies have been even semi-close to the level of this one. He even won the President's Award last year and I feel employees who work hard and hustle in this company (even if you start from the very bottom) actually get rewarded and promoted unlike a lot of other hospitality companies and they truly do honor "promoting from within." I'm very thankful they gave my husband an opportunity and we are so grateful for everything. This is a company you can actually still really "want" retire with!
Richard Torres: Very poor communication by regional director of sales orlando during hiring process
Moe Ahmeir: Very racist unprofessional. Paul at Hampton inn ulmerton road Clearwater st Petersburg, Florida is very trashy they violate the Hampton inn standards. Shower head from cheap flea market, water pressure is terrible, front desk had no name tags no uniform, they don't even tell you about the breakfast, they violate the Hampton inn 100 percent guarantee, Paul is nesity ugly racist inside out. They also over charged us three times. Hilton had to refund us to prevent lawsuit. This place is more motel 6. Very shameful people.
mike B: Company claims work life balance then works you every weekend and back to back shifts.Update:I contacted the email provided because they claim to be so interested in resolving this issue. Yet no one ever responded to my email.2nd update:How bad does your company look when you come on the internet claiming you care about employees and want to resolve this matter....then never contact the person after several emails have been sent to the address she gave me. lol
Paul Cox: Clean building efficient staff! Great people!
Helene Mould: Love Concord!

The StateView Hotel, Autograph Collection: what do users think?
A RAS: -Be careful about bugs, there were lots of strange bugs in my room when I complained they send a guy with spray to kill them , no action to identify the infestation cause and fix it-The breakfast service is so bad, the lady that works there definitely hate her job, she is disrespectful and it takes forever to do anything.DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL !!!!!Rooms: Bug infestedFood & drinks: Tribale services
Brenda Morataya: It's pretty and the people are *very nice*However, the beds are about as comfortable as the floor and it was disappointing to not have room service from the restaurant downstairs.
Kamisha B: I just left this hotel today and I already miss it!! Beautiful layout. Beautiful room. Loved the shower. Pressure and temperature was great. The restaurant Flask & Beaker was amazing…dinner service that is!! Jayona was thee absolute best & she made our stay awesome! If this review makes it to her…please tell Jayona her “Jersey Girls” already miss her!
John M. Conroy: On the Centennial NC State campus with some rooms having a partial lake view, this hotel is a convenient and scenic place for visiting the campus.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
xpat: Great hotel over all. The only thing would be to offer guess a complimentary ice water and tea in the lobby. Coffee is the only available option.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
K H Bartoszek: Beautiful hotel. Staff was warm and welcoming. Room was very comfortable. Really enjoyed my stay.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet …More
Pablo del Aguila: El precio-oferta no es proporcional. Esta cerca de la universidad, lo cual es una ventaja para algunos.
Lois Petersen: Beautiful, newer hotel located on the campus of NC State University. I had room 401, a spacious corner room with huge windows overlooking landscaping on one side & the city on the other. Everything is clean and well stocked. Outdoor heated pool, workout room & restaurant with bar. Some rooms overlook Lake Raleigh. What really stands out about State View is the service. It has been quite a while since I was greeted with such sincere welcome and hospitality at a hotel. Staff are very professional and accommodating. I have no complaints at all and highly recommend.
George Yorgakaros: Lovely hotel and where my partner and I stay every time we're in Raleigh. The rooms are clean and the hotel is nice - but where StateView really makes the difference is with service. Every person I've ever met at the front desk has greeted me with a smile and has been extraordinarily helpful. At the bar, Mimi went above and beyond even after they had closed to grab me an iced tea - a simple request, sure, but one that definitely put her out, given they had already closed. The fitness room is well-equipped and never crowded and the pool is comfortable and has plenty of outdoor seating above and around it.
Rene Bystron: As an Ambassador Elite member at Marriott, I've stayed at many of their properties. Unfortunately, Stateview Hotel is not one I can recommend. The hotel's physical aspects are decent. The rooms are okay and the dining staff is friendly. However, the management's lack of customer service and efficiency taints the overall experience.I ran into a problem when I asked for a simple request: to include both guests' names on the folio. I was assured by the receptionist this would be done. It wasn't.Despite my follow-up emails, I received only generic responses from a manager named Nakyla Barnes. They were quick to apologize, but my request was ignored. It's been three weeks now, and I'm still waiting for that folio. It's clear there's an issue with the mid-level management at this hotel. Their indifference towards customers' needs is shocking. If Stateview wants to improve, they must address this.In conclusion, Stateview Hotel is a letdown. If you're a Marriott member, I suggest you consider other properties.
Monica Tornros Jakobsson: We stayed at the Stateview hotel for 3 nights, and we wished we hadn't booked so many nights. Front desk staff was not friendly at all. Breakfast was so so. Rooms were way too dark. Bed did not suit me, it was so hard. My back was so stiff and I ended up sitting in the futon for the most of the night. There was of course some positive things too. Pool area is really nice. Location is great.
Brandi Myers: Very nice hotel and venue on the campus of NC State University! I will definitely be recommending this hotel to my clients!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Steve Murray: Mimi was so nice! The staff, grounds, experience all above and beyond what I expected. I would definitely stay again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
ThatCrazy Chicken: Disgusting what they allow to go down in their facilities!! Putting the name of the Lord with it. How dare you!The location supports a disgraceful sinful way of life while allowing them to party like middleschoolers while doing it!Safety: Safety is not top priority when they allow what they do on the hotel grounds.
