The Blue Morpho: My son has thrived with his lessons.
Mitch Baney: MLC has been absolutely amazing. Craig is one of the best teachers I have ever had, and the staff here are extremely prompt and professional. I cannot recommend this place enough!
Penka Iliya: My son enjoys piano lessons at The Musicians Learning Center. His teacher Marianna is excellent! She has great approach to little kids!
jeferson patiño: My daughter is being here learning piano for 1 year and a half, she love the place, her teacher and piano classes as well. Highly recommend.
Cat SeiyaKou: Positive:ProfessionalismI've been taking singing and guitar lessons here since I was in middle school, the teachers here are very passionate and know what they're doing. Almost about to release my first song which wouldn't be possible without Craigs training over the years. I can't wait to continue my lessons here and continue to learn and grow.
Lynne: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismMy son loves taking piano lessons there. They go above and beyond at encouraging him and provide challenging pieces that are perfect for him. It's lifted his self esteem which is so important for kids right now. They also call every so often to ensure that everything is going well with his lessons. Highly recommend.
BigonBig919: People are friendly and instructor's are great and patient.
Katie Simons Pahner: We love Musicians Learning Center! Our daughter has been taking guitar and voice lessons for over a year now and loves it! The teachers are highly-trained and exceptional with children. They encourage - without being overly rigid - and, more importantly, make the experience FUN. Kids can earn various rewards by meeting practice goals. To see how much our daughter's love of music has soared (along with her confidence) is quite amazing. The front desk staff could not be more friendly or more responsive by email or phone, which is a huge value-add. They also occasionally check-in by phone to see how the lessons are going, if we have any questions etc., which is rare in business these days and is appreciated. HIGHLY recommend.
F. Alex: Excellent place for music lessons on many instruments, and currently offering both in-person and virtual options.
Scott Geater: Everyone is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable!
Familia QC: It's a very organized academy, caring about their students and every detail to make their experience enjoyable.Quality time and motivation, make the kids eager to accomplish the goal of each lesson! My child is 5 years old, and got happily caught into the music world!
Delia Diamond: Unbelievably kind and helpful front desk and Leilani’s voice lessons have been A M A Z I N G! So thankful to have found you guys.
Ray Rivera: My two granddaughters spend summer vacation with us here in Wake County. Every year we get them involved in activities to help them learn and grow to be respectable children and eventually adults. They have been involved in gymnastics, karate, swimming, and other organized activities. This summer we heard their interest in music lessons, specifically guitar and drums. We are so glad we did and our only regret is that they had to return home to Connecticut and could not continue. They loved and we were happy with the lessons and especially Chris. Tell Chris I was FaceTiming with Jordyn and she told me to tell Chris hello. I didn’t know how to accomplish that, however, now that I have this opportunity please tell Chris that Jordyn said hi. They will be back next summer and we will return for lessons. So on behalf of Jaeda and Jordyn, thank you for your time and hopefully we will see y’all in the future. 👍 Raymond Rivera
Jorge Valero: Very didactic class. I love it.
Donna Ecton: I appreciate the email reminders and help from staff when rescheduling. The staff are always very pleasant. Thank you!”
sara pittenger: My daughter loves her guitar lessons and Miss Emily. She is excited to go to class every time
Jessie Tenenbaum: We've been going for a few weeks now and really like it- the staff is friendly and helpful and my kids love their teacher!
Callie Wright: We love the Musicians Learning Center! The instructors are fun, the reward system keeps my kids wanting to learn more and communication with the staff is great.
Kasey Helton: We love lessons here! My son, my daughter, and I all take lessons and it's our favorite day of the week. The instructors make music so much fun that my kids sit down to practice without prompting. The location is really convenient and scheduling lessons with the front desk is always easy. Group lessons are a huge hit with my kids too. It allows them to meet other instructors and have a "bonus" lesson on a weekend day. The instructors are all talented in not only music, but teaching. They really connect with the kids and create a love of music.
Diane Womble: My son has been taking guitar lessons with Jon for the past year and a half. He has learned so much and really looks forward to his lessons every week. I highly recommend The Musician’s Learning Center for all levels of musicians!
Anne Branzell: nice setting, creative personalized intelligent instructors. very friendly office staff

The Raleigh School of Music: what do users think?
Eric Warncke: I get violin lessons from Max at Raleigh School of Music and its a really nice environment that blends traditional/classical studies with personalized instruction. I went from sounding like a dying cat with my violin to being able to play some Star Wars songs, a bit of Vivaldi and Grieg. And I don't sound like a dying cat anymore. It's a great school, especially for violin.
Lisa Lindsay: My son is starting his 5th year of lessons at the Raleigh School of Music! He has had wonderful instructors!
Shannon Mills: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueMy 14 year old loves learning cello from Mr. Wenger! NRSOM has filled our home with music and that has brought us so much joy!
Jane Brown: Five star music school! My 7 year old learned the violin in just 9 short months. Her teacher is phenomenal, patient, kind and so talented. We enjoyed our weekly lessons and really appreciate the support we received - ongoing homework assignments, information, guidance. I would highly recommend this music school to anyone interested in learning an instrument.
Alex Shanker: I'm an adult student and I've been taking piano lessons with Ashe for just over 4 months, and so far I've had a very positive experience. Ashe has been a fantastic teacher, she's both very knowledgeable and very personable. My lessons with her have been the biggest driving force to continue learning and pushing myself. In addition, I have a positive impression of the entire NRSM staff. Everybody has been very friendly and respectful to me, and it's clear that they care a lot about the students and their education.
The Upholstered Chair: Great one on one music teaching experience!
Patricia Adkins: A hidden gem. In just about 3 months of individualized lessons, I am more confident as a singer and musician. My teachers are very knowledgeable and accomplished in their craft and love teaching as well. I look forward to going to class every week. It is a very rewarding experience for me so far and I intend on continuing with this school. I need the individual attention and guidance.
Natalie Duffield: My boys, 21 months and 4 months love it. Mrs. Ann is wonderful! We always have a great time and learn something new.
aseidenfrau: We have worked with the owner, Erin, for several years now. She is extremely talented and has taught my daughter many valuable skills with private voice lessons. We look forward to our summer sessions!
Sharon N: Our family extends a big thank you to Erin Moorman Wenger, private voice teacher and co-owner of North Raleigh School of Music. Our daughter started voice lessons with Erin three years ago, with no prior voice instruction, and has blossomed under Erin’s instruction to achieve selection for North Carolina Governors School in Choral Music last summer, and selection by audition to the NCMEA High School Honors Chorus this fall. I asked my daughter what specifically is so helpful about Erin’s voice lessons and she responded that “she tells me exactly what how to correct and improve my singing and then she is so happy when I get it right “. Erin has contributed greatly to our daughter’s confidence, in singing and as a young woman, and we are very grateful. Thank you, Erin!
Patricia Somers: I love my cello lessons! I am an adult learner, and my lessons are one of my favorite things all week. I learn SO much each time, and my teacher is patient, fun and inspiring. I also play in the cello choir, which is an opportunity to play with other people, and learn something about playing in a group. The school provides a wonderful, welcoming environment and top notch professionalism. Thank you!
greg gibbs: While my children enjoyed the classes, the management are liars. I requested a refund 2 days after my card was billed and was refused. She said that her hands are tied and that it is not her policy, but Kindermusiks refund policy. Well, I have found numerous local chapters that will issue refunds for unused classes. Many will refund UP TO TWO MONTHS OF CLASSES if you are not happy. I understand the economics of credit card transactions and the charges associated. I offered to pay double her fees that she had to pay, but nope, no refund. I would not recommend this place, but the numerous other locations that offer this program and more consumer friendly refund policies. I will be using my month of classes when my kids are old enough to not be terrors bc of the class being during nap time. I will come with a smile and never come back again after I use my credit. And for my adult perspective, you can do the same thing and save $65 with a CD of kids music, some scarves, a stuffed animal and a kids drum.
Monique Williams Boyd: My daughter has attended Kindermusik at North Raleigh School of Music for almost 2 years. She has never really attended daycare, so Kindermusik gives her a chance to not only learn about music, but also how to successfully interact with her peers. Anne and Erin are wonderful at engaging young children. The classes are lively and fun; we look forward to it every week!
Steffi Briley: Love Kindermusik at North Raleigh School of Music!! Anne & Erin are great with the children and help teach them valuable lessons re: social skills in addition to music!! So glad we started coming this summer! My 3 year old loves it!
Karen Hite: My daughter started attending Kindermusik classes from NRSOM when she was 20 months old. She's 3-1/2 now and still looks forward to it every week! It has helped her so much developmentally. It's so much more than just learning about music, although she does love that and walks around singing all the time now. She has always struggled with shyness and insecurity but music has been her bridge to having more confidence. She definitely feels safe and secure and confident enough to explore and try new things at Kindermusik and that has spilled over into her life outside of Kindermusik. Erin, the owner and one of the teachers, is fantastic to work with and she runs a top-notch school. There's not much chance of "maxing out" so to speak...a young child can start in Kindermusik and move up different levels of the Kindermusik program and then even move on to take private lessons in voice or many other instruments offered by NRSOM. It's a fantastic place and a lot of good things happen there.

Family Piano Academy: what do users think?
Natasha A: My Daughter has been under the instruction of Mrs. Tamara and has enjoyed learning the piano and looks forward to her class every week. Mrs. Tamara really connects and cares about her students and has such a kind and passionate nature.
Eric Warncke: I get piano lessons with Pam and I have really loved Family Piano Academy. The course that they teach new students, the Diamond method, is also very engaging and a lot of fun to go through. It's a good place for adult students.
Jim C: Family Piano has been a great place for our daughter to learn and grow her piano skills over the past few years. They have great teachers and the owner, Gerry, has put together a comprehensive instructional music guide. Highly recommend!
Jon Murphy: With each lesson, my son is progressivly getting better as a pianist. His instructor is patient, informative, and talented. My child's love of and enjoyment with music is cultivated by his instructor each and every lesson. They offer a variety of instructors to choose from in order to meet each student's needs. Our experience has been nothing but extordinary.
Miz Pizzy: Awesome place to learn piano! Many teachers to choose from. Love Family Piano Academy!
Hailey Shafir: Our 10 year old son started piano lessons about six months ago here and his progress has been amazing. He is now able to read music, understand chords, and is playing a couple of his favorite songs on the radio. He is always greeted by name when he walks in and his teacher makes him excited about music. I couldn't be happier!
Boubakar Diop: I feel excited to learn there
Erin Day: We love Family Piano! Our children have been taking piano for four years and now violin. Jerry, the owner, is so kind and passionate about sharing his love for music. All of the instructors love music and teaching. We are especially partial to Mr. Gene! He is an amazing teacher and encourager. Our kids have thrived under his tutelage.
Brian Gorman: Emphatically recommended! Amazing instructors, and an in-house curriculum that can't be found anywhere else (the Diamond Piano Method). Both students and teachers love it, and that makes all the difference. Love these folks!!!
Gene Burrus: A great place to teach piano, quality instructors and great customer service.

Falls River Music: what do users think?
G. _: Arrived during posted business hours (~6:20pm) to purchase some items but I arrive to a sign reading "No counter service available. Personal lessons only now, please come back later." While I appreciate the fact they give lessons, you can hire someone to work to the desk so you don't lose customers or sales. So their open sign is really an "open" sign. Please post more accurate open hours or hire more staff to resolve this in the future.
allison lewis: My daughter has taken piano lessons here for 5 years. She can be shy but her instructor is so positive and encouraging that she just loves her. She takes the time after her lesson to share with me what they are working on and how my daughter is doing. Our instructor also teaches flute and is very flexible when my daughter wants to switch gears and get some extra help with that instrument. The music store has been great and very flexible with any changes to fit in our crazy schedule. The owners are very kind and friendly.
John Spencer: My kids have taken lessons here for years and I love the personal touch given by Steven and Michelle. There was a period of time when my daughter was going through a stage of shyness and they made her feel so welcome, comfortable, and like family. I love having these folks right in the neighborhood.
Kathryn Wall: My daughter has taken lessons at Falls River Music for 5 years and she has grown as a musician. The teachers are talented and patient with students. The staff is great and flexible. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for either an intro to an instrument, or someone who is looking for an intermediate to advanced level. Easy to work with and convenient location.
Victoria Jenny: Falls River Music is great. Bob, Steve, and others there really care about those who are taking lessons and do all they can to educate and share knowledge. The lessons are great and then you can actually perform through recitals, band camps, and student bands.
Marsha Crum: We have been with Fall’s River for several years. Fall’s River Music is not the closest music store for our family, but we wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. Steve and Michelle are both very easy to work with, and they are always quick to respond to any unexpected schedule changes or any questions we may have. My son’s drum instructor is Michael and he is fantastic with him. He (my son) is legally blind and is unable to see the sheet music. Michael has tailored his lessons in a way that he is able to learn the music in a non-traditional way. Fall’s River is the only place for my young musician 😊
Reza Hatefi: My kids have been going there for years and love it!
Amber Babcock: Worst customer service. This is the second time I have visited this music store during their posted business hours and no one was there. I waited 20 min after time to open and finally had to leave.
Baker Romeo: I brought a used bass to Falls River Music this past week to have it checked out, have a setup done, and to ask that they investigate some fret and nut buzz. They estimated the price at $45, which is less than a setup costs at your typical big-brand guitar store. I got the call yesterday, the actual price was $15 because they didn't find any issues calling for any more involved operations. They could have just charged me the forty-five bucks and I would've been happy to pay it, but they gave me a square deal, and that's what you can expect. The staff and the owner are friendly and polite, and I'm looking forward to signing up for some bass lessons here before too long.
Lea Nardolilli: I was looking for a fun way to ensure our son practiced his trombone over the summer. I found their summer camp, and figured we would give it a shot. When I picked him up the very first day he asked if he could sign up for a second week because he had so much fun. He learned so much in 2 weeks, and had a great time! It was so fun watching the kids during the end of camp concert! Steve was great with the kids, and made sure my son always had parts to play! He's already asking when the next camp is! We were very happy!
Denise F: Signed up through Groupon, had no problems using the coupon then continued on month to month. My daughter really likes the instruction, Michael, for drums. Have had good experiences/interactions with both owners and since the waiting area is in the lobby I get to see a lot of other interactions. Everyone working and coming for lessons seems to be happy, things seem to run pretty efficiently as well and you can see that many long term relationships have been built with parents, teachers, and students. Would recommend as lessons are reasonably priced to allow your child explore their musical side!
Mary: My kids have been taking music lessons at Falls River Music for years now and they love it! The instructors really listen to my kids and get a feel for their taste in music so they can make learning fun for them. Both of my boys want to practice and make their music teachers proud and that's because of that student/teacher rapport. Besides the lessons, my kids have done the summer camps, recitals (free here), and (when they were ready) the open mic nights. We always find instructors just hanging around on open mic night - just to support their students! Where else do you find that kind of support? Before we went to Falls River Music, we tried 2 other music lesson places in our area. One of them had so much overturn, my son had a new teacher 4 times in 1 year! At the other place, the teachers were very strict and my kids were always nervous around them.I highly recommend Falls River Music - and I have recommended them to several friends who are also happy there.
Michelle Coon: The first of a series of summer music camp concerts, started tonight. The students did a great job. The instructors did an awesome job putting it all together! Good going every one👍
Michael Richardson: This was by far one of the WORST experiences we have EVER had. We bought a groupon to try out this music school. We set up the time with the owner. Our kids were taking guitar and piano. We really LOVED the piano instructor. The guitar instructor was okay.My first red flag should have been when the owner wanted to charge me for the trial after finding out I had a groupon. I actually received 3 lessons for a 4 lesson groupon. Then it started. We went in one day and we were told by the staff on duty that we owed money for all of the past lessons. We paid what was requested of us and asked to be called by someone who handled the books so we could work it out. The owner was Steve was extremely rude and after taking way too much time out of my work day I finally understood his ridiculous bookkeeping methods. Btw- I have a college degree in mathematics. At that point I started keeping my own records. I knew we wouldn't be returning and I was showing that we were owed one more lesson from the money I paid them. I asked to have them clarified on their end. Once again Steve called me but this time SCREAMING that I never paid them. I sent him an email with the 2 groupons attached as well as the large payment I made and told him we wouldn't be returning. Life is too busy to work with someone of this demeanor who can't handle their bookkeeping. It was again the most ridiculous experience I think I have EVER had with a business owner. I have NEVER been treated so disrespectfully by someone who is trying to earn your hard earned money. It is a shame too as again we really loved the piano instructor but NEVER NEVER NEVER would I go back here because the owner is a mess.
SUMMER AGMOTIONS: i took violin lessons there from rachel and i loved it i used not not like violin that much but rachel made it easy and fun

Amy Work's Private Piano Studio: what do users think?
Megan S Gift: Amy is the best!!! Our daughter loves her and is learning so quickly. Her approach is so kind, yet disciplined and she makes everything fun and easy to understand. Whether it's bringing together her students and their families for a backyard recital or organizing for the kids to play at nursing homes and events, our whole family feels like we're part of a community.
Peter Lawrence: Amy is an exceptional piano teacher. Our 11-year-old son has learned so much from her over the past 2 1/2 years. Amy is extremely well-organized, and expects great things from her students. The calendar year with her is well-structured and the group lessons help her students learn in different ways. We are very pleased with Amy's teaching and would recommend her to any dedicated student of piano.
Jody Haupt: We are so thankful for Amy Work and her piano program. As my kids started to get to the age where I wanted them to learn piano I felt pretty anxious about finding a teacher. I had a lot of hopes for how my kids would be introduced to music and instruments. Now we are in our second year with Mrs. Work and she has exceeded our hopes and expectations. Fostering a love for music was one of my lofty expectations of the teacher and that’s exactly what she does. Of course there is hard work and dedication but she also brings her students into the community and collaboration that studying music can include. I hope she never stops teaching because I can’t imagine there’s anywhere better for our kids to be.
Dawn Lanza: Mrs. Amy is an amazing teacher. My 5 year old son started earlier this year. He loves it and looks forward to every lesson. He has been learning to read music, rhythms, proper posture, etiquette, and musical history as well. Amy even gives a lesson plan for him to follow and practice at home during the week. I love to hear him play full songs and I am so proud of his progress. I am looking forward to the end of the year recital to hear my son and all the other students play. I highly recommend this piano studio and I could not be happier with this piano studio.
Christine Nishiguchi: "Amy Work is a dedicated, thorough and kind piano instructor. I was looking for someone who could provide proper piano technique and theory to my daughter, but still make the experience fun. We found the perfect person in Amy. She has been extremely flexible and open to my daughter's pace, working with her until she found the kind of music that inspired my daughter to practice. Now my 9 year-old is flitting her fingers up and down the keys, and is more motivated to practice independently each day. She is also working through learning theory and music history. Amy works hard to provide a complete 360 degree enriched, musical experience!
Aimee Boes: Our family was so very fortunate to discover the amazing gem of a piano teacher we have found in Amy Work. Our 13 year old daughter has had several piano teachers over the years and each teacher has contributed in a special way to our daughter’s growth. The difference with Amy is the connection she makes with each individual child. I have never seen my child more excited about learning new pieces or going to lessons as I have since she started with Amy. My daughter has even left lessons saying she wished she had more than an hour to practice with Amy. That speaks volumes to me in how Amy teaches and relates to her students. Also, there is never any prompting to practice anymore. I feel Amy has conveyed her enthusiasm and passion for piano to my child and I am ever so grateful! In addition to all of this, Amy is an amazing communicator and is so organized with all of her lessons, keeping her expectations from her students clear and concise. I could sing Amy’s praises all day! She is the best!
Ileana Marks: After our beloved nonagenarian piano teacher of four years passed away, we thought it would be hard to replace her. As it turned out, we needn’t have worried.Successful teachers have a special chemistry. And Ms Amy’s was just right for our daughter. From the very first lesson, our daughter was engaged and excited. She was thrilled with the flexibility in music choice and I was impressed with the organization of the lessons, scope of instruction and clarity of home assignments. Amy loves what she does and her students love her for it.Whatever YOUR age, Amy is the right choice to begin, continue or revisit your or your child’s interest in piano.
Gloria Weismiller: Amy Work knows precisely how to inspire each student specifically. She has helped our daughter grow tremendously.
Kendra Niehaus: Amy is more than just a teacher. To the students and families lucky enough to work with her, she is a mentor, a motivator, an artist, a partner, and a friend. We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to learn from her.
LInda Emerick: Amy teaches students to be life-long musicians.
Desiree Amirgholi: Amy is the best of the best. She is a wonderful person and teacher. Our daughter took lessons with Amy for a couple of years before we moved away. She is talented, professional and gives her all to her students. I feel very blessed that Amy was our daughter's first piano teacher and we know she will be a blessing in your child's life too!
Glenn Martin: Amy invests herself in her students' success. I know of no one better suited to teach my children.
Nina Vuong: Amy is a wonderful and talented instructor. My daughter has developed a passion for learning how to play the piano after taking classes with Amy. I highly recommend her.
Robert Work: Amy is my daughter in law so I may be a bit prejudiced but I will try to be objective. She is a very accomplished musician as well as a teacher of the highest merit. I have watched her teach at all levels and it amazes me to see her move from teaching a complete neophyte on the one hand to teaching one of her advanced students. Her understanding of the students needs, both musically and personally, is quite remarkable. She can be understanding, demanding, kind, and stern all within a few minutes with the same student. Her ability to discern what will motivate a student is probably not unique but is certainly most unusual. In short, she is a most amazing music/piano teacher.
Becky Martin: Both my kids studied with Amy for 10 years and learned so much. She is a fun and engaging teacher for students of all ages. I am a pianist myself and we were very particular when selecting a piano teacher. I wouldn't let someone who didn't play really well or who didn't know the repertoire, theory, sight-reading, etc., appropriate for each student's skill level teach my kids. Amy was the perfect match for my family!
Gail DiNicolantonio: Dedicated, well trained professional piano teacher. Ms. Work instills confidence and pride in her students using encouragement, challenging curriculum, and a variety of performance platforms. It is a joy to watch her students rapidly progress. Ms Work is one of the most highly recommended and sought after music teachers in the Northern Virginia area. Many of her students have been with her for over 10 years.
Sandra Baker: Amy is a wonderful person and instructor! Amy’s students have participated in recitals in Northern Virginia with my students. She has well prepared and exceptional pianists! She is very organized and has an excellent rapport with people that she works with. I highly recommend her!
Duncan Gerhard: My family was so sad to have Amy move from our area. She has taught both of our daughters for multiple years and is an amazing teacher! Not to mention a great pianist. If you are looking for piano lessons I cannot recommend Amy more highly. Take the opportunity NOW and book with her, because once she starts to become known in your area you are going to have a hard time getting in with her. We haven't been able to find a comparable substitute yet.
Kim kimmiewood@verizon.net: Amy is a fabulous piano teacher, as well as a kind and compassionate person! My daughters took lessons from Amy for many years. She ran her studio very professionally, and lessons were always inspiring and encouraging. I greatly appreciated the fact that she had high expectations for her students, as well as providing many opportunities for festivals, theory exams, guild, performing at Christmastime in shopping malls, and of course recitals. The recitals were fun and well-run, and all students were well-prepared to perform. Due to Amy's influence, one of my daughters went on to study piano in college and run her own piano studio upon graduation! The other daughter frequently plays piano in her free time. I highly recommend Amy as a piano teacher!
Lou DiNicolantonio: Amy Work is is truly a superb piano teacher who has enriched the musical lives of children and adults alike for over twenty years. She was one of the youngest members of the Northern Virginia Piano Association and was consistently chosen as chairperson of numerous musical concerts/ensembles/festivals because of her professionalism, energy, talent, and love of her art. She has taught children from their early ages right up until they have entered college and she has guided them throughout their journey. She expects the best out of all of her students and she provides the best of her talent to them. She embodies all of the positive qualities that are so necessary to provide her students with only the highest level of instruction. She encourages her students to grow both musically and individually. Her studio/website/musical tools are impeccable and her student/parent references are all exceptional. I am very proud to highly recommend her as an outstanding and talented musical teacher.
Kim Picinich: Amy has a gift , not only for music and piano, but for teaching her gifts and instilling confidence and the joy for the piano in her students. She is patient, she is sweet, she is talented and she is a skilled piano teacher. Our family has been so blessed to have her in our lives.

Jennifer Paschal Music: what do users think?
Charles Weaver: I found Jennifer after 3-4 weeks of looking for an in person vocal instructor who wasn't part of a music factory. My beginning goal was to refine my voice so I could match my guitar playing and perform small gigs and Jennifer has made that goal a very close reality in just under 2 months! She is like a surgeon with her precision and ability to fine tune my singing voice to perform difficult songs. I have made leaps and bounds in a very short time frame. Jennifer is a very talented expert with patience and a teacher's spirit!
Jeff Strickland: Our daughter has been taking piano lessons from Jennifer Paschal for the past three years. She has learned so much and really enjoys her time with Jennifer! We strongly recommend Jennifer Paschal as a teacher.
Elizabeth Cooke: Ms Jennifer is not only a talented musician but a talented teacher. She uses structured fun to push her students to excel. I have seen both of my boys grow musically.
Robyn Creech: Ms.Jennifer is amazing!! My kindergarten son looks forward to his weekly piano lessons and has learned so much in just one year!!
Victoria Llanos: I found Jennifer Paschal Music through Facebook after a very lengthy search. My children previously took piano lessons with a different instructor. The methods were great in theory, it just wasn't working for us. Neither of my children could read music or demonstrate correct posture and positioning.I was interested in a more technical and disciplined approach which Jennifer, the owner and instructor, offers. The studio space itself is lovely and wonderfully arranged. She's very patient and meticulous. Jennifer always includes a detailed email after every lesson in order for parents to track progress. I highly recommend her without hesitation.
Lisa Kirkpatrick: Mrs. Paschal was a huge help preparing my daughters for their lead roles in their musicals. She took their very inexperienced voices and helped them develop the skills they needed to be confident performers. She gave them amazing feedback and instruction that was critical to helping them. I am forever grateful for my girls’ opportunity to work with her. She is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, experienced and has quite a voice herself.
Hampton Hofer: Jennifer is a wonderful, patient teacher with a contagious love of music that has spread to my five-year-old son, who wakes up thrilled every "piano day"!
Peggy Weavil: Jennifer has been wonderful working with my daughter to build her vocal skills, even throughout the pandemic. We love that it can be worked in around other activities and has been a great help in preparing for auditions at school. Plus it has sparked an interest in piano!
joel orr: We signed up my daughter (8) for lessons in January, and we have already seen *significant* progress in regards to foundational skills, sight reading, posture, etcANDmy daughter absolutely loves it! She has already started asking for assurance that we will continue lessons going into fall (which we certainly will).Jennifer's home studio is comfortable and professional, and her interactions with students are nurturing and well-cultured. We are so fortunate to work with her!
Joy Brewington: Jennifer Paschal’s piano studio is a Raleigh gem. From the beginning of the semester we could tell the kiddo was not only learning technique but also having so much fun doing it! I like that Jennifer incorporates breathing and mindfulness into piano lessons. Kiddo’s posture has improved and self confidence soared while attending Jennifer’s studio. Progress has been quick yet at a comfortable pace for our little pianist. We will be clients for years to come.
Lynn Headley: We reenrolled our daughter today for the 2020-2021 accelerated piano classes after a very successful start back in January. Jennifer is great with her students and virtual lessons have worked out fine during the current pandemic. We are looking forward to hearing and seeing her progress! She really enjoys learning and has enjoyed meeting new friends too.
David Henry: I've been muddling through vocals in various local bands for a long time without any formal instruction. Jennifer taught me proper breath support, posture, and many other adjustments. She also identified some bad habits that were hurting my throat and helped me to break them. That made a huge difference! I feel much more confidence singing and I can sing longer and in a much greater range without losing my voice. I would recommend Jennifer to anyone, beginner or advanced, rock vocals, musicals, anything!
Stan Allison: I have been a student of Ms. Jennifer for more than two years and can say with confidence I am her most advanced student, when measured by age.I was looking for a voice teacher who would accept the challenge of an older student and she accepted without hesitation. I have learned more than I thought possible and appreciate the introduction into a new discipline, full of promise and reward.Ms. Jennifer is an accomplished teacher, musician and performer. She is consistently professional. Most importantly, she seeks to develop each student based on individual potential.Having observed her interactions with all ages, boys and girls, I do not hesitate to recommend Ms. Jennifer to any person who loves to sing and is willing to find out what it might take to reach his or her full potential.
Lori Nourse: Jennifer coaches my 17 year old daughter, who is working towards admission into a voice program at the collegiate level. Jennifer's knowledge, experience and talent is evident and she regularly seeks opportunities to enhance her student's successes (competitions, performing opportunities, etc). From a coaching standpoint, my daughter has said that Jennifer provides feedback with the right 'mix' of challenge and positivity that allows her students to confidently stretch themselves. From a parent viewpoint, my daughter's vocal range has expanded immensely since working with Jennifer, and she absolutely loves her (currently online only!) lessons with Jennifer.
Jenny Branch: My daughter has loved her piano lessons with Mrs. Jennifer!
Brianna Shait: We have really loved our lessons with Jennifer. She is patient and creative, and during times of uncertainty flowed into virtual lessons seamlessly. Both my children have loved learning the piano and about music theory!
Katie Hunter Cecil: My 7 year old is enjoying her piano and singing lessons and learning a lot! The online lesson is working out well! She enjoys seeing her teacher and piano friends.
Danielle Gardner: Mrs. Jennifer is so patient with my kids. They absolutely love her and really have enjoyed the group lessons for a fun and social way of learning the piano.
Owen Stevens: Jennifer is an amazing instructor! My voice improved after only a couple of lessons! Highly recommended!
S R: Ms. Jennifer is a very knowledgeable teacher. She makes lessons interesting and kids learn having fun at the same time. We truly recommend her!

Janet Thomas: My son has been taking guitar lessons from Paul for almost six years. Not only is Paul a great teacher, he is also a mentor and role model for my boys. (My younger son has been taking drum lessons for three years.) The monthly student shows are a great way for the students to perform in a low-stress, welcoming environment, and it has been great watching the progression of my own kids as well as other students. Choosing RMA was one of the best decisions we have made for our kids!
Casey Olevsky: I attended Raleigh Music academy and had a great experience. The instructors were very detailed and incredibly helpful. They were super personable and I'd highly recommend them for anyone looking to take lessons at any age. It's a very convenient location and above all else is a locally run business. I'm always a huge fan of supporting local businesses rather than the big chains that offer lessons elsewhere. Give them a try, you won't regret it!
