Duke Raleigh Outpatient Imaging Center: what do users think?
Cheri Carter: I will NEVER go back to this place. Do yourself a favor and don't go. There are so many other options. After getting to the Duke Hospital campus early, with the paper in hand for a bone density test and the address being 3400 Wake Forest, Ste 100, on the paper, and never being told ahead of time that the real address of the building is 3480 (and that the ENTIRE CAMPUS is 3400). I was sent one by one to FOUR different places around the campus by staff there before finally getting to the correct building (different address than on the paper I was given). I was then 12 minutes late. The check in woman was surly, unapologetic and VERY unfriendly and said if I was more than 5 minutes late they couldn't take me; that they were entirely booked up for the day, but I could wait for an unknown amount of time to be fit in (how could I be fit in when they were completely booked???). I drove over 20 miles to get there and then this. NEVER AGAIN.
Lee Anne House: Quick in and out
Marilyn Mallory: EXCELLENT. CARE & VERY HELPFUL, CLEAN VERY VERY SMART. EVERYONE MOVE QUICKLY & ANSWERS ALL YOUR QUESTIONS
jlynn129: They have a schedule Issues. They try and load the rooms up and expect no issues to be encountered. Was scheduled for a colonoscopy at 10:20 finally was rollled back to start at 12:52. They said unexpected delays which supports their scheduling problems. Typically you account for things like polyp removals by assuming that a percentage of patients will need them and account for that in your schedule. When your primary purpose is to maximize profit, you assume perfect world conditions and no issues so schedule back to back. That is how duke schedules their procedures, perfect world and maximum profits. If you are aware of this and know that a simple procedure may become an entire day event that is ok but be aware of their scheduling incompetence and indifferent attitude when it comes to schedules
Renee Cannady: The staff was very friendly. I didn't have an appointment and I didn't have to wait long. They got me and out probably less than an hour.
An Phillips: I had a procedure here today. From check in until I left, I was treated with respect and with warmth by friendly caring people. I am so glad I chose this location for my procedure. All safety measures were in place but still you felt the care. Thank you Receptionist , Radiology, Doctor, Cytology Technology, and Kristina. YES, I will return if more care is needed.
Lynda Slipetz: My dexa scan was good but trying to get the copies for my new doctor is a nightmare. 2 voice mails and an email and no one responds. Now I have to go to my appointment and my doctor can’t see the scans.
Shonny W: Each time I go for my mammogram, customer service is the best! All the ladies are very patient and kind, from check-in to the end. Today, Beebee was extra sweet and explanative during my exam. Not a place I enjoy going to 😉 but when I do, all of the ladies' pleasant attitudes make it a little easier. Thank you!
Sian Brown: The customer service is awesome. I was scheduled for a mammogram at 9am and an ultrasound at 12pm in a different building. Penny who did my mammogram and it as painless as possible found out that I had another appointment at noon. While I was getting dressed, she checked with Elaine who does ultra sounds and they were able to switch my appointment. I was out by 10am for both appointments!! AWESOME customer service!!!

Wake Radiology UNC REX Healthcare - North Hills Diagnostic Imaging: what do users think?
Craig Collerette: In the past two months my primary care physician has called in orders for CT and Xrays. I called before driving the 40 miles just to make sure they had the ct order. They could not find it. Called my Dr. He submitted another order. Next day, same thing, can't find the order.Fast forward one month. Dr puts in an order for chest and neck xray. Called ahead as experience has taught me. Found the chest order but not the neck. Call Dr again. Another order submitted. Next day I drive the 40 miles and when I arrived they still couldn't find the neck order. Called my Dr while in the waiting room. As my doctors staff is scrambling to put in a third order, Wake Rad finally found the second order. Lesson here.....call before you go and MAKE them find it. It's there, they claim they have to look through hundreds of emails to find it. Better advice, find another radiology provider.
Trent V.: Spam called me. Never did business with them in any capacity. Don’t worry, the feds will be in touch with you shortly :)
Diana Cameron McQueen: I know if you have certain insurance you only have this place as an option in Raleigh, but I was so surprised by the level of customer care and efficiency. Don't call tho, you'll be on hold for 30min. It's not written anywhere I saw but X-rays are walk in and you're in and out so fast.Had a wonderful experience and saved so much time have having to run around like crazy before this. Happy to have such great people at one of these typically unpleasant places!
Jikku Alex: Scheduling is worst.
Julie Bell: Excellent experience. I was called back right on time. My 2 procedures ended up happening back to back and I was out way earlier than I should have been! Everyone was professional and Stacy and Jennifer were awesome techs!!
Becky Crissinger: I just don't have the extra time to come to Wake Radiology and deal with their billing. Everything about my procedure was fine, check in was fine, the service all fine and pretty typical. The billing however took up so much of my personal time because it was not done correctly, that I won't be coming back. I just don't have the extra time for all the extra work they caused me.
Kaitlyn Mazza: We just left Wake Radiology (on 8/2/22 at 4pm) after our 6 week old son needed an abdominal X-ray. The front desk women were both great. The real MVP was our X-ray tech. I wish I could remember her name bc she was absolutely amazing. I think she was training someone. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her!! Dealing with a 6 week old baby is not easy and I was really nervous. The tech did an incredible job. She was sweet as can be and she was quick and efficient. My husband and I walked out in absolute astonishment. Would definitely go to this location again.
SL: Excellent service!!!!
Nellie Rose: Last month, everyone was super nice, despite the debilitating pain on my right side, fever chills, and vomiting. I needed to get a CT scan to confirm what it was. It turned out to be a 6mm kidney stone that didn’t show up on an x-ray.Yesterday, I got a bill for $2,638 dollars. For one CT scan that they didn’t even send an image of to my doctor. Not only that, but they reported it being two 3mm kidney stones when it actually was a 6mm stone once I passed and caught it. Stones over 5mm are less likely to pass and their false report could’ve put me at risk. My insurance only paid $787.38 for it, meaning I still owe $1,850.62.l can’t believe this is legal. Our healthcare system is an organized crime ring. A modern day mafia. There’s absolutely no reason this should cost this much. If I’d known they’d charge me this much, I would’ve just risked it turning out to be something life-threatening.If you go here, demand to see the bill before you get anything done, even if you’re in enough pain to cloud your judgement.By the way, here’s a picture of the 6mm kidney stone they claimed was two 3mm ones. The lines are there to represent the maximum width of a ureter (mine is likely narrower)
Grace Wilkinson: I had scheduled a CT at Wake Radiology's Wakefield location. When I called to ask the CT technologist a couple of questions about the procedure, I was routed to the North Hills office. Glad I was because I got Stacy who not only answered my questions but arranged a much earlier testing time and corrected misinformation given to me by the inexperienced scheduler who originally made my appt. Once I arrived for my CT, Stacy explained every step of the process that helped allay any concerns. She was compassionate and efficient. In short, Stacy turned an initial negative impression of Wake Radiology into a positive one. Kudos to the other office staff who greet you with a smile and friendly hello. I would return for future imaging needs to this North Hills location.
Elisabeth Galanos: I come here every year for my mammogram and the ladies are wonderful from the front desk to the technician.
Mollie Propes: I would leave zero stars if it was an option. I drove three hours for a doctor ordered MRI only to be denied service. A woman named Mandy confirmed my appointment at 9am the morning of, reviewed questions, medical history, etc and said “we will see you for your appointment this afternoon.” I then drove three hours and was denied service upon arrival. I spoke with the supervisor, Teresa, and confirmed they did not change their policies in the five hours sinceMy conversation with Mandy, but they Still refused to perform my scan. I lost an entire day of work and two tanks of gas over this. I will never use this facility again and would advise anyone who must be treated here to confirm EVERYTHING before making the trip to their office. They do not care about you as the patient, your time, or your health.
Paula H: I have had my preventative mammograms done here for the past several years and everyone has always been great. The receptionists are friendly and the technicians go out of their way to make an uncomfortable and awkward service as painless as possible.
Terry Lancaster: The waiting room was disgusting, although clean. Many of the benches were torn and frayed. This is almost 2020, I know they could improve the appearance for comfort of their patients.
A Webb: They do a good job. My wife has had 2 test done here. Parking is limited

Cardinal Points Imaging - Midtown: what do users think?
Susan Hawkins: I had mutliple exams at the Midtown Center yesterday and was in and out so quickly. The check in process was easy because I was able to check in using a link ahead of time so no paper work to sign! The technoloigists were all very professional and answered my questions. The center looked amazing and very clean:) I truly had an amazing experience!
Judy Vivarelli: This imagining center is so well organized. High compliments to Kristle at the front desk, Lisa and Lindsey (MRI). They were so pleasant and kind with a smile. The facility was clean and well run. I will use Cardinal Pointe for any imagery if needed. Top notch!!
Madeline Ortiz: I went in March and Jackie and Technologist Melanie were amazing. I love their sympathy and kindness. Melanie explained everything (English is not my first language) in a way I completely understood the study my doctor recommended. This is my favorite Imagine Center. The facilities are clean, the process of checking in is great and the staff are very professional and kind.
Lucus Lee: My sister was trying to make an appointment 4 times. Every time, the operator had different problems, either needed to pick up other phone, or doesn't know the process of scheduling an appointment. They promise to call back but never did. Since it is so difficult and unprofessional to make an appointment, it is clear that the examination and further process are more unprofessional.I strongly recommended that the Cardinal points imaging fired old unprofessional operators and hired excellent and professional operators. I won't go to Cardinal points imaging until they have good operators.
Dekeita Stinson: I have a lot of issues with MRI machines. I have to say, that Susan the technician went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help with all the anxiety I had! SHE and those assisted her were patient and kind. I can't imagine how this outcome would've been if I didnt have a caring team!!
Connor Link: Had an appointment scheduled for 2:45 & was instructed to arrive 15 minutes early, which we did. Was not seen until 3:35 & some, not all of the staff were very rude. I’ll avoid coming back here in the future & if you value your time, I suggest you do the same.
Cameron Cooper: Great people. Very caring and on time.
Addys Falcon: I have been a patient of Cardinal Points Imaging since 2017. Why do I continue to attend here even if I am living far away?Only because you offer personal and confident attention of excellent quality! So, thank you very much to all of you!
mike jamison: Was in for a calcium heart scan. Staff was efficient and nice. Event was performed on time and Michelle could not have been nicer. Highly recommend filling out as much information as you can online. It streamlined the process. Thanks mj
Cindy Vestal: A lingering condition following double pneumonia sent me to CPI-Midtown in mid-December 2021. Ginger was super compassionate and professional as she helped me through a CT with contrast. The process was amazingly quick and painless. I felt reassured by Ginger's presence and concern for my health. Stephanie W. was amazing at the front as my patient coordinator. And I cannot say enough lovely things about Felicia as my scheduler! The trio made my Christmas holiday season brighter and healthier. Thank you for being an outstanding team who cares.
Ellen Baker (WolfehWuff): While the experience in the office itself was fine, their billing department certainly leaves a lot to be desired. A few weeks ago I started getting sketchy text messages that looked like a phishing scam from a debt collector (the first I'm hearing of owing any money) - upon further investigation, it turns out that I owed money to these guys from a visit about 6 months ago. However, I never received a bill in the mail or a phone call or anything from them before the collection agency started to contact me. It turned out they had (maybe?) been sending bills to an address I haven't lived at in over 7 years, even though I'm pretty sure they had me fill out paperwork with my up-to-date information when I came in for my appointment. They also definitely had my accurate phone number, so I have no idea why they didn't call me or seemingly make any other attempt to contact me about my past due balance before sending it to a collections agency. I can see from the other reviews that I'm not the first person to have this issue, so If you choose to go here, make absolutely sure they have your correct info on file, and follow up with them if you think there's even a possibility you might owe for the services provided, unless you want to be sent to collections with no warning.
Dynamite: Very good experience here. Arrived at 7am for paperwork for a 7:30 appointment and was walking back right at 7:28. All of the ladies I dealt with were very polite and informative.
Grant D Leslie Jr: This place was the fastest, most efficient medical group I have ever visited. Checked in, did my paperwork, and had my scan done in under 40 minutes. The technician that was assigned to me, Elizabeth was very nice, polite, and made me feel comfortable and relaxed while she performed the needed scan. I highly recommend Cardinal Points Imaging in Wake Forest.
Kaitlyn Coggins: Very pleased with my experience today. Kay, Susan, and Lindsey were all very kind and professional. They expressed genuine concern for my comfort during the whole imaging process.
Ketan Mistry: An amazing placeI was fortunate to have the MRI of TMJ by Cardinal Points Imaging @ 1212 Cedarhurst Dr Raleigh NC on 3/10 at 6.30 pm. The receptionist was very courteous and efficient. Also MRI team, namely Lisa and Lindsey were very understanding. I have cervical dystonia. They made sure that my neck is constrained in the most comfortable manner. They were true professionals.I will always use this place for my and my family's radiology needs
Samantha Higgins: Have called over a dozen times and left several messages over the past 2+ weeks to get an appointment scheduled and nothing.Do not waste your time trying to contact them.It is absolutely ridiculous to have a doctor's office that doesn't return messages for a referral no less.
Kevin Prescott: I was at the Midtown location for an MRI. All of the staff I came in contact with were very nice. However 1 person stood out from the rest. I look at the card given but could not remember if her name was Stephanie W. , Brooke, or Jen. I do remember she had the sweetest southern accent and was from Harnett County (Dunn, NC). She was absolutely wonderful!! I’m a large man and she made me feel so comfortable, assisted me with the socks, and was so calming during the entire process. I was so thankful for her. She asked me what kind of music I liked and I told her Christian. The music was so on point and really helped me endure being still on my back for what seemed like a long period. Thanks to all of you for excellence in patient care!
Erick Thompson: I had an excellent experience with Cardinal Points! From my first scheduling phone call, to my walk out of the office on the day of my visit, the team went above and beyond to ensure a positive, affordable, comfortable experience. The cost transparency was refreshing; a rarity in the healthcare industry. Melanie, the CT tech that I worked with, was beyond friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to bring me quality care and peace of mind, which has been hard to come by since my injury. Big thank you to the care team at Cardinal Points - Midtown!
Tracy Anderson: I have never had a bad experience since I have been coming here. The Staff is very friendly and understanding. Will continue to come here in the future.
Carolyn Hardison: Had my yearly appointment for my mammogram 11-20-2021 at Cardinal Points Imaging. While I usually dread going to get this procedure done. This experience today was done very easily and without pain. I appreciate the nurse who took care of .me.Great job.
Tara Waters: I am currently standing in the facility after more than an hour only to be told that I don’t need the imaging ordered my PCP. The person who shared this with me is not a MD and qualified to make that determination. After doing some research, I learned that they have taken over a space formerly operated by Raleigh Radiology but are not the same organization. Beware and seek service elsewhere.

Wake Radiology UNC REX Healthcare - West Raleigh Pediatric Imaging: what do users think?
Madilyn Sass: An absolutely horrible experience other than the very nice ladies at the front desk. I checked in 15 minutes early for a 2:30 appointment. I was told max I would be there an hour by my provider so 3:30. 3:15 rolls around and several people have walked in got called back and left and not a single word was spoken to me. I confront the front desk ladies who were so kind proactively trying to see why it was taking so long. Out comes a tech who rudely called my name with a look on her face that showed she couldn't be bothered with me. I asked how long the test could take and she said 30 mins which I couldn't do. My husband who took off work to drive me to this appointment wasted his ENTIRE afternoon just to not be able to get the test done due to many other time sensitive things today that should've been done earlier but I blocked out a chunk of my afternoon for this. Extremely disappointed in my treatment! Do better people. as someone who works in healthcare i understand if they are busy it takes time, but an empty waiting room and an hour wait is just unacceptable.
Rebekah Nelson: Scheduling has been so disorganized my experience so far has been terrible and I haven't even been seen yet! I was scheduled last week for an appointment, received a call back stating my time slot was "double booked." We rescheduled and the appointment was reset a few days before my appointment for a few hours later. It was extremely frustrating because I had already scheduled several other appointments the same day, and changing it the first time was difficult to say the least. Scheduling for our family is very difficult because we have two children with serious chronic health conditions and scheduling medically capable childcare for my appointments is very difficult. All was OK, but then I received the automated confirmation phone call which stated a completely different appointment time later in the day that wasn't even mentioned on the phone previously! It was right in the middle of one of my other appointments that day. When I called back I was told I had been bumped a second time and automatically rescheduled without my permission. So MY appointment got bumped twice in a row and no one ever bothered to call me the second time!? If I had just confirmed the appointment without paying close attention to the message, I would have been in huge trouble on the day of my appointments. The lady I spoke to explained that I may have to wait a while but could still come to my earlier appointment time. I told her this was not possible given my childcare situation and other scheduled appointments. She called the office back again for me and talked to someone different who said it would be fine and I'd be able to get in and out at my scheduled time. I'm not sure what to expect tomorrow but my childcare situation is unchangeable at this point and I definitely need this scan done because of my own health issues I'm now dealing with. I'll update if it gets any worse. So far I'm not sure it can get much worse.
Darren Brandes: I have been calling for days to reschedule an imaging test. I have been left on hold for 20 - 30 - 40 minutes each time I called with nobody answering. I have given up. It appears I will have to drive the 30 minutes to their location to change the appointment in person since they are no longer answering calls, or just go to another provider. This is crazy.
Just In case: People who say they just want your money here are absolutely correct.. No proper help, no nothing, just $$$
Lyndi Manning: September 29, 2022 Covid is all but over CDC has announced this past week‘s masks are not even necessary any longer in hospital facilities. Yet when I brought my husband for a needle aspiration I was refused admittance even though I had on a mask. He should not have to go through a procedure without me by his side. I was not even allowed to stay in the waiting room. This is unacceptable.
Gen ramos: Was not a pleasant experience. Poor communication
Tammy Rudy Z: I came here for my IV Port replacement. They where great & the surgery went well. They all treat me great & told me what was going to happen as was be done. Very friendly staff.
Liz Wo: Worst ever experience. I went to Wake Radiology for breast mammogram, after the mammogram the doctor was not able to draw a conclusion so she consulted another doctor, they came checked on me together again and confirmed it was not an issue. Then they billed me for the extra service from the second doctor too which I did not ask for. I am quite healthy and I think it is not fair for me to be charged for the 2nd doctor, if the 1st doctor was knowledgeable enough then they would not have to bring the 2nd doctor. All they want is your money
April Canfield: I had an appointment at Raleigh Radiology at 4pm, fasted all day. When I got there, they said my insurance was out of network. They suggested Wake Radiology. I took a chance and drove over. They were closing in less than an hour. The front desk lady immediately tried to help me. She spoke to a technician and she agreed to see me. I was in, in under 10 minutes. Incredibly accommodating. I was sure I was going to be turned away without an scheduled appointment. Amazing experience. 👏👏
Joseph Mcmanus: Very professional staff.
Hannah L: You will literally never be seen on time here. What's the point of appointments if everyone is 45 minutes behind schedule? The tech staff is great, though. Front desk staff, not so much.
Lesley Fleming: The service is quick and efficient but PLEASE STOP USING PLASTIC BAGS FOR YOUR GOWNS. It's so unnecessary and wasteful, especially knowing how detrimental plastic waste is to our environment. I've been going there for several years and nothing is done to change this. It's a washed/used gown you wear for 10 minutes and it keeps being repackaged in plastic - shameful!!
Michael McDonald: Had a Liver Ultra Sound Elastography today. The Technician Kelly S. Was absolutely the best Technician I have ever had. Very nice and informative. She made me feel very comfortable and took the time to do the procedure. She was the most through Technician I have ever had.I highly recommend her and the facility with the highest regard. The Receptionist was also very nice.
Sandra Young: Had shots for hip before. Find this place more knowledgeable on how to give hip shots...was pleasant appointment.
Chris Costello: Won’t even negotiate with homeless families 😕
olivia C: This place is wonderful, took someone in for a hidascan and was going to be late, they were super nice about it and got us right back apron arrival. Kelly the office lady was very nice and helpful as well as the medical staff, they were nice enough to update me on the procedure without asking.
Patrick Barclay: Went to Wake Radiology for an ultrasound on a lump in my scrotum. It was very obvious the staff deals primarily in female clients. Both the ultrasound tech, and the nurse were clearly not comfortable dealing with male clients, or their genitalia. I'd suggest just going to Duke Raleigh.
Christine Alexander: I went to the Suite 104 location for a test and the technician was wonderfully nice! She was friendly, explained the testing and put me at ease. The office is older and not as nice as the Cary location, but they where efficient and pleasant.

WakeMed Imaging Services: what do users think?
M M: I had a very positive experience at this appointment .From the time I checked in at the front desk to my appointment . The imaging technician was professional and kind . She explained the process and told me ahead of time what to expect. She made what can be an awkward procedure more pleasant . Be prepared to wait a little longer as the imaging dept shares the office with a lab as well.
Tish: Worst experience in my 20 years of getting mammograms, so rude

Cardinal Points Imaging - Brier Creek: what do users think?
J. Lee: The front desk was very unkind. When I asked her to make the next schedule, she didn't even ask me and just set it by herself. I don't understand why this place doesn't try to give the better service. But the technologist, Laura, was nice!
Donna T. Richardson, EdD, PMP: The radiologist I saw for an interpretation of a required sonogram (after the mammo) was absolutely phenomenal; the two ladies at the front desk -- well, not so much. One insisted on seeing a driver's license when I provided a government issued identification. She insisted that a DL was required for service. I counted that her advice could not be true. A DL is not required to receive care when a current government issued ID is provided. She also asked me to fill in my SS# -- information that is not required and exposes a patients' personal information unnecessarily. But I'll move on to my real issue. I have asked the staff via the "Contact Us" link on the website THREE times to correct the spelling of my name. Each time, a staff member replies with instructions to correct my insurance information. My name is spelled correctly on my insurance card AND they made a photo copy of the card while I stood at the front desk. My name must be spelled correctly on my billing records to match the spelling on my insurance information. If they cannot correct the spelling of my name (a very common name to boot), how am I to trust that they will manage more complex information well.I really wish they would get this easy-to-fix problem resolved.
Anthony Dillon: This saga gets worse - if you can believe it. After another 4 calls with ZOTEC the issue is still not resolved. My insurer is certain no claims have been filed and Zotec is insisting the claim has been denied. Zotec has issued me 2 final notices and is refusing to get this issue resolved. what I can control is we will NEVER be going back to Cardinal Points imaging ,EVER !!!! Avoid this companyHaving used Cardinal Points imaging for past 10 years for an annual preventative mamo gram checkup, this year we received a shock. We received a bill from a 3rd party saying we owed $6127.08 . having called CPI we were informed they no longer handle their own billing and I had to call a company called Zotec to discuss my issue. They denied the claim supposedly because " PATIENT CANNOT BE IDENTIFIED AS OUR INSURED " This was in spite of us providing a scan of our insurance coverage prior to the appointment. WE ARE CHANGING PROVIDERS.
Jian Bao: I have been a loyal customer for many years. But I decided to take the business else where. Same complaints as the other patron. The front desk is not helpful at all. After waiting past my scheduled time for 30 minutes (I also arrived 15 minutes earlier as instructed), I asked when I would be seen. Got a curtly reply of "we are running late and you will be called soon" - no apology and no time update. I left after an hour of waiting.
Amanda McKnight: They double billed me for a CAT scan.I finally got to talk to someone who investigated my claim. They said that they found the error and my payment. That was over a month ago. I just got another bill from them for the same procedure. I've been dealing with this headache since October. DO NOT go to cardinal points imaging in Brier creek. Ask your doctor to refer you to somewhere else. They are either incompetent or intentional crooks. Either way, they don't deserve your business.**UpdateIssue is still unresolved. I just got another bill for a service I have already paid for.
ashley hilliard: This place is amazing clean and friendly staff and pretty quick with getting patients in and out. Definitely recommend
Dalila Dragnic-Cindric: As a patient, you should know what you are getting into, and with this provider, the operative word is “BEWARE.” Hopefully, you are reading this before your appointment, and this review helps you make an informed decision about your imaging provider. I learned the hard way that they are likely to overbill by hundreds of dollars and that obtaining a refund is not a straightforward process and takes forever. When I scheduled my MRI appointment in January, I was told the billing department would call me before the appointment to let me know what my payment portion would be. That call never came. On the day of my appointment, the person at the front desk told me I had to pay $500, the full deductible. Obviously, when you are actually in their office, you don’t exactly have the option of going elsewhere to get your imaging done or not paying the amount they are telling you to pay. Once my insurance processed the claim for that day, I owed only $60. It should be easy to get the money back, right? At this point, they have had my money for almost a month. So, I gave them a call. BTW, there is no local person or office to handle billing questions. Their billing office is located in Tennessee.Once I got to speak to live people, I was told several different things, ranging from “I need to open an investigation before we can pay this money back to you” to “I am so sorry, but no management team member is available to speak to you now; they will call you in the next 24-48 business hours.” I was also told that they never filed a claim with my insurance for an x-ray I had done earlier in January and that they simply used some of the money I paid for the MRI to cover the X-ray claim instead of filing it with the insurance company! What?! They had no explanation as to why the X-ray claim was never sent to the insurance, and while I was speaking to one of the billing representatives, she filed that claim. Here is the cherry on top of their billing cake: the rep also told me they cannot issue the $440 refund until billing for all outstanding claims is processed! She told me this processing would take 3-4 weeks, so another month for them to hang on to the money. I was also told that they could not email me to document that they opened an investigation or that I even placed a call. Pretty convenient policies that allow them to keep your money for as long as possible while also wasting a maximum of your time. While waiting for my MRI, I watched the front desk person collect full deductible amounts from various patients who came to their office that day. The amounts collected were not trivial. I doubt other patients are getting their refunds any faster. Needless to say, my family and I won’t be coming back to this company for any additional imaging.
Hannah Swader: The staff were so friendly here and I only waited a few minutes to be brought in for my X-rays. Jessica took all the X-rays of my back and was so nice and the appointment was over before I knew it.
Maria Camila Martinez: Been to the Brier Creek location twice. Both times I've had an excellent experience. But, yesterday definitely was the best! From the front desk to the exam, everything! I felt cared for and very calm through my brain MRI. Thank you all!!
VANA MK: $908.08 - This is how much you have to pay for a routine 10 minute Transvaginal U/S here. I get this scan every year. I paid $232 for the same in 2019 & 2020 at the same location. They did not tell me that I had to pay extra before the scan. They added 3 lines of charges for 1 service, slapped 3 separate CPT codes and charged me 3 times for the same scan that was done by a lady who refused to even tell me what she saw on the scans. I couldn’t even see my own scan on the monitor because she said it’s not allowed. I have been fighting this bill for 3 months now. Will never come back to you ever again. We have a lot of local moms in the triangle, and every time someone asks for a suggestion on the 10,000+ facebook group, I will post my bill and warn them of my ordeal.
jcros830: Pros: Parking was easy. I was in and out quickly. The MRI machine was state of the art and the noise was minimal. (I have been in some dinosaur MRI machines that sound like you are taking off to the moon!) And the facility is clean.Cons: The front desk was less than friendly. I understand everyone has their bad days, but the women at the front couldn't have seemed less interested in their job or showing care and compassion for the patients coming in. I suffer with generalized anxiety disorder and usually need a mild sedative when getting MRI's due to feeling claustrophobic. I was given a prescription from my doctor to take with me to the appointment. I was told by the scheduler that I needed to wait to take the medication until I was at the clinic. When I checked in, I let the women at the front desk know I had my medication with me and asked if I should take it now while I was in the waiting room. They both just shrugged their shoulders and told me they weren't sure. Being already nervous, I went ahead and took my medication. I am thankful I did because within 15 minutes I was being brought into the back and after a quick check in, (by which no one asked how I was feeling, if I had medications, ect) they whisked me back into the MRI trailer for the test. It wasn't until after the test did it come up that I needed medication and the tech was surprised because the front desk had not communicated that with him as they were supposed to. For a medical clinic, you would think their protocol and procedures would be on point.I typically go to Wake Radiology for my MRI's and have never experienced anything less than kindness, compassion, and efficiency from all of the staff. If I had to compare my experience with Wake Radiology and Cardinal Imaging - Wake Radiology is the Whole Foods of imaging centers and Cardinal Imaging is like the Food Lion in the shadiest part of town that you avoid at all costs. If you are able, go elsewhere. I will not be returning.PS: If you are the front desk ladies that work at this location, you may want to consider a career where you aren't working with the public. After I went in the back, my partner witnessed how you treated others who were checking in and struggling with physical ailments and, from his report, their experience was on par with mine. Kindness goes a long way...especially in the medical field.
Emily Gardner: I wanted to give the Brier Creek Cardinal Points Imaging team a 👍for the care I received today getting a bone density scan. The technologist, Ginger, was especially wonderful! I was very impressed with the level of customer service and would highly recommend Cardinal Points Imaging to friends and family.
Leon “Leon” Renner: After reading the reviews, I thought they solved their payment issues, so I went there. But no, they didn't. I already paid before the appointment started and I'm still getting emails about an unpaid balance. How on earth did you guys not fix your stuff after receiving so many bad reviews? I guess you just like the bad reviews, huh?Anyways, I won't pay you double and I won't visit you again.
Michelle Blohm: My test results were sent to the WRONG DOCTOR than what I put on my forms, 2 years in a row. Poor record keeping. Not going here anymore!
R R: So after spotting something from routine imaging, I had imaging with contrast at this location with a terrifying report. After weeks of worry, expense, and poking an prodding, a biopsy was negative. The oncologist showed me that the images were of poor quality and that the contrast agent used is not the preferred one for detecting cancer. He doesn't think I should have ever been referred to an oncologist as it is quite clear I do not and never had cancer and better quality imaging work would have made that clear. So do not trust this location for specialized and precise imaging work and avoiding false positives.
Ken Ray (mrkenray): I went to my appointment 15 minutes early. There was no point in that. I was in and out of the place in less time than it takes to fill out a medical form. The technology is remarkable and remarkably fast. The office was clean and the staff was friendly. Would recommend.
Kimberly Miller: The staff inside the building are nice. I bet money they mess up your billing though. I had one issue after another because they just couldn't get my bill correct. I would go elsewhere.
Jennifer Bozeman: Really friendly staff and great service but wish their website would say that X-rays don’t start until 8:30am. Waited 45+ minutes after trying to arrive early
Farnoosh Brock: Great experience here every single time for my mammograms. They are professional, punctual, polite, kind, and VERY GOOD at what they do. I am grateful!
Jonathan Schmitz: The techs are very nice and gentleEspecially Susan and Kim. Dr Litton is especially caring and compassionate
B A: I received good service and the ultrasound technician was very pleasant.

Duke Raleigh Hospital Ultrasound and Cardiac Special Diagnostics: what do users think?
Prema Turnbull: The entire staff was friendly and efficient at the 3320 Wake Forest Rd Raleigh location. Services provided during my visit were from Jill and Kristina. They were proficient, professional, friendly, and highly knowledgeable. Very clean and comfortable setting. The staff does their best to not keep you waiting. Duke chart is more than helpful for including an organized system for me to access all sorts of information and correspondence. Very user friendly.
Marcella Nanney: This office was very professional and welcoming. It is difficult to be sure where exactly any radiology appointment is on the Duke Raleigh campus. It would be very helpful for Duke Raleigh to assign each patient to a building name, or building number or even a color assigned to each site for identification.
