The Spanish Corner: what do users think?
Lisa Linsenmeier: We just completed our first session at the Spanish Corner and I couldn't be more pleased. Kate teaches effectively to all the ages and comprehension levels in the class in a fun and engaging way. My son counted to 10 in Spanish yesterday, completely unprompted, showing he is learning to master the language, not just memorizing it. The CD and at home materials are a fun way to spend productive family time. If learning a foreign language is an important part of the educational goals for your child, the Spanish Corner is a great place to start.
Critter Kids Rescue: Hola!I just want to share how wonderful this class is and how it has helped me feel so good about the idea of my little one's chances of being bilingual. It's fully immersive class. Since starting the class my little one (started at age 2 and now 4) can count, recognize colors, body parts and can understand when her teachers (Ms. Annabel and Ms. Kate) speak to her. The atmosphere is so relaxed and her teachers are so sweet. Another positive about this class is that I get to see parents learn as well (this includes myself). So I just have to say Gracias ladies for your assistance in helping my child grow.

Classical & Spanish Guitar Lessons: what do users think?
Steve Laesch: Patient with adult learners.
Assane Diouf: Alex has been my guitar instructor for 2 years even though I have been playing guitar for a total of 6 years and a half. His unique approach to Music help me not only acknowledge areas where I was lacking but also in adapting his teachings to my pace. He ignited in me a passion for improvisation, ensuring I understood the logic behind every note. His lessons transcended basic instruction, they were comprehensive musical experiences. Thanks to Alex, I'm now not just a guitar player, but a well-rounded musician. His unique approach has truly enriched my musical journey.
Chip Johnson: Alex truly has a talent for teaching guitar to all levels of students. His method leads the student to not only learn the guitar, but to learn the fret board. Alex also is a great guy. He's fun to be around and learn from. Alex is also a fantastic player. If you're looking for real improvement with the guitar, call Alex.
Ola Savas: Alex is an amazing guitar player and he has a way of teaching kids and keeping them engaged and challenged. Our daughter had three different guitar teachers but we saw an amazing difference in growth once she started with Alex. I definitely recommend him .
Gabriella Kuznik: One of the best professionals in the area.
Joannellyn Chiu: Alex is a great guitarist and teacher. He is so patient with my daughter who started taking lessons with him when she was 6, and after nearly a year, he was able to transform her into a capable classical guitar player who sight reads music easily and grasped music theory. We highly recommend him to anyone who’s looking for a professional and knowledgeable teacher.
Alex Gordez: Classical, Flamenco, Tango, Jazz Brazilian, Gypsy styles covered. Accompaniment and music theory, improvisation.
Helen Yoest: Alex Gorodesky is one of the finest guitarists I've every heard. Alex has played his music during an event of mine, and I plan to hire him again to play at my next birthday bash.Lately, I've been enjoying dinner at MidTowne in North Hills to hear him play on Wednesday evenings.
Israel Janovich: Would highly recommend based on teachers dedication, love of music and years of performance experience!

SPANISH FOR FUN! GLENWOOD: what do users think?
Jessica Lands: My daughter has been attending Spanish for Fun for almost 1 year and I absolutely LOVE everything about it! The teachers and staff are always happy/smiling/welcoming and my daughter cries sometimes when it's time to leave school because she wants to stay with her "friends" and teachers. She has learned so much, says numerous words in Spanish and she understands and responds to her teachers directives in Spanish. They also do lots of activities with the kids, send pictures often, do crafts, do events to give the kids a chance to perform something they've learned in class, and so much more! I couldn't be happier with SFF! ❤️
Valentina Uribe: The strength of SSF! Is the staff. The teachers are amazing in their love for the children as well as dedication to teaching and building up the kids. The teachers and staff do an excellent job of achieving a warm, positive environment for learning.
bianca mejia: really good school my son goes there the teachers a very respectful and stay on top of the kids to make sure they do their work it’s the best highly recommended
Kevin Gracey: My son attended Spanish for Fun until July 2022. Beginning in August ‘22, SFF began trying to collect for tuition not owed after he left the program, with notice. This has continued.5 stars for the childcare.Negative stars for the incompetency of the admin staff and general bad business practices.Save yourself a headache and choose a different location.
Sky Barraclough: We love Spanish for Fun. My 2 year old comes home talking about his teacher and the fun things they do at school. We are very happy here!
Britney C: We love all the staff at SFF! They are so kind and caring. I feel assured that my child is well taken care of!
Shannon: Our daughter has attended SFF! for a year now and she has loved it. She started at Duraleigh at 14 months and is now at Glenwood at 2 years. Her teachers and the administrative staff are always so wonderful with her. She runs in happily and even when we go on vacation, she asks us about her teachers and friends constantly. She is very happy, loved and cared for everyday and we very much appreciate SFF! for all that they do for her!
Shannon Mobley: We have been so pleased with Spanish For Fun! Our daughter has been there for five years now. She has learned so much and the teachers really seem to love the children and their job. Also, the administration is always helpful, quick to respond, and easy to share thoughts with. These ladies (and gentlemen) are truly incredible.
Meredith Schultz: My 2.5 year old son has been going to SFF Glenwood for a little over a year and he has really thrived here! When he comes home he speaks quite a bit of Spanish and tells me things he has learned. When we read books in Spanish, he can name all the animals and say so many of the words in both English and Spanish. He also seems to really enjoy going in the mornings. Specifically Miss Diana and Miss Stephanie (as well as Miss Sandra and Miss Carol, the director) have made a great impression. I can tell that they really care and love their students. My son talks about the teachers and other kids nonstop and he runs to Miss Diana to give her a hug in the morning. Miss Diana’s enthusiasm for children and energy with them really is something to be admired. I was thrilled that he is in her and Miss Stephanie’s class. I get updates through the day with cute pictures and description of what they are learning at school that day/week. I can safely say I trust this preschool with my son and know he is loved and well cared for!
Mary Kate Hom: We love SFF! My son started going to the Duraleigh location when he was 11 weeks old. As a first time mom, I was a little nervous about leaving my baby when I went back to work. Spanish for Fun made me feel so much better. My son was not just cared for, he was loved. The teachers and staff genuinely care about the kids. My son runs into school in the morning and when we pick him up, he gives his teachers hugs and blows kisses. They are truly an extension of our family. He has learned so much and we could not ask for more.
Ashley Kern: We have been going to the WF location for a little over a month and I am blown away with how amazing the staff are, and how loved my children are! My daughter, who would cling and cling to me at drop off at our previous facility, walks in on her own with a big smile on her face. My son is just as excited to go! They have both started telling me some colors in spanish, which I did not teach them lol. I love that they are learning fundamentals AND another language AND being truly loved. You can tell the staff love what they do. I am so happy we made the decision to join the SFF family!! 😍
Xiaochuan Zhang: My 6 years old son participated two weeks' summer camp there as a Spanish beginning learner. He really enjoyed being there, although he couldn't understand most of the classroom language for the first several days. After the two weeks, my son told me he felt he could understand ALL spanish. Which is not true but the confidence built at the SSF Glenwood definitely will help his future learning. Staff are very supportive and aware of specific family needs. Our experience is short but very impressive.
Carlos and Ashley Arcano: Sff-Wake Forest is the best educational environment our daughter could have. As educators, we strive to provide and support a healthy, balanced, and rich setting for our daughter and Sff! is the place to find them all. The Spanish immersion program offered at Sff! has enriched our daughter's social and academic language skills not only in Spanish but in English as well. We enjoy all the events and family engagement activities throughout the year. We are so grateful with everyone at Sff! Ms. Lucy, Ms. Jeanette, and Ms. Alba are a great asset to the school and are always willing to listen, communicate, find answers and solutions. They are all very proactive! Thanks to all of them for making a huge difference with all children!
Ramita Chitrakar: Our son was at SFF since he was about 8 months old. We started with Cary location and then moved to GLenwood. Loved both the locations. Teachers are very loving and caring. Love that they provide food and have focused on making it more healthier in recent times. Definitely recommend it.
Dr. Connie Omari: This was a great school for my family and daughter. The teachers are compassionate and the oversight is thorough. The school worked wonders to teach my daughter Spanish and I love hearing her sing new songs in Spanish. I highly recommend this school.
Anay Castro: I had a bad experience here. I enrolled my 2 year old at this daycare and we only lasted 3 weeks. He kept getting hurt so I took him out due to safety concerns. I do not think that supervision of my child was that great. In addition, you must pay for the whole month ahead and they do not have the courtesy of refunding you the money unless you give them 30 days which I am aware it is their policy, but I could not leave my child in place I felt was not safe for him.
Carrie Shortt: Teachers, staff, education, cleanliness, safety, security, everything is fantastic about SFF! As far as previous comments about the rates, SFF has the same rates as any other credible daycare/pre-school in Wake County. Wake County just happens to have a general higher cost of living compared to the rest of NC.
Kelly Lentz: Our 4 year old daughter has been attending SFF! Raleigh since she was 3 months old. During this time, we have never doubted once the care she receives. The staff has always been extremely friendly, loving, and caring. Because of this, SFF! made my transition back to work so much easier than I could have ever expected! To me, this was, and continues to be, priceless! In addition to the wonderful care that my daughter receives, the staff also provides her with an education. My husband and I have always said that from day #1 at SFF!, we have felt as if our daughter was attending a structured school vs. daycare. From the daily lesson plans that range from reading, art, dance, math, science, fine motor skills, etc. to teaching her a multitude of life skills, we have watched her develop both physically, mentally, and intellectually. I also greatly appreciate the updates on her progress in her daily journal and in the detailed report cards sent out 3 times per year.Overall, we couldn’t be more pleased with SFF!
Brittany Davis: My daughter has been at SFF for over a year and she loves it. Her teacher is wonderful and really does care about her. My daughter has had trouble leaving me in the morning and her teacher really takes extra steps to help comfort her every single morning. It's wonderful to know that she is in good hands. Also I love that you can sign online and view the webcams all day every day. They have them all over the building and the playgrounds.
Whitney Hargett: Very poor experience...They are extremely money hungry. My child was out sick for two weeks and not one person from their staff bothered to ask to see if he was doing ok. They finally contacted me about a month later to let me know my payment was due whether he had been there or not. It was very upsetting to know that the daycare was only interested in collecting funds rather than the well being of my child. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants their child to feel loved and be cared for. The student to teacher ratio is way too high for a one year old class. Every time I would go to pick up my child his teacher was never there and was being "covered" by someone who did not even know my child's name. These people would not have even known if I was truly his parent picking him up because they had never seen me before! It has the potential to be a great program but they are slacking because of the uncaring staff.

SPANISH FOR FUN! Duraleigh: what do users think?
Mario and Maria Cano: Our little one enters and leaves Spanish for Fun Duraleigh with a huge smile on her face every day, and lots of new skills! It is so easy to see how much she is loved and cared for by teachers and staff alike. We have had nothing but positive experiences at this daycare and are so grateful there is a safe, diverse, bilingual and enriching environment for our baby to learn and grow.
Alex Rodriguez: The staff is really friendly and very helpful. Our son has learned so much while being at Spanish for fun. The teachers are very communicative and send over pictures and updates that warm our hearts. So many activities that they do with infants. We feel confident that your child will be taken care of and loved as much as we love our son.
Austin Wright: We have had the most wonderful experience at SFF! The staff is so loving, enthusiastic, and caring. They are super organized and host so many fun events for students and families. Our kids love going to school and we’re so grateful for the early education they are getting!
Abigail Watson: Our daughter went to SFF! Duraleigh and it was a great experience! They took great care of her and she learned so much - we would definitely recommend them.
Jordan Davis: Our daughter LOVES!!! SFF! We couldn't be happier here. They do a great job making sure she gets everything she needs, we LOVE the updates throughout the day (especially when they send pics of special activities!), and the teachers are truly amazing and will bend over backwards to help you as a parent. Our daughter is always so happy when we park and sad to leave (I try to not take that personally lol). I HIGHLY recommend SFF!
Nelly Jimenez: Excelente lugar donde los niños aprenden divirtiéndose las Maestras muy cariñosas y respetuosas con los niños,, donde ustd los puede dejar tranquila lo recomiendo al 100%
Maggie Robertson: We highly recommend the SFF Duraleigh location! We were very pleased with their infant program. All of the staff were very sweet and kept good communication through the “Procare” app. We especially loved the outdoor area for infants. We ended up having to transfer to a different location for a full-time spot, but we would’ve loved to stay!
Shannon Mobley: I cannot say enough good things about the staff. They are so very loving to our baby. We have enjoyed watching him learn from and love his teachers.
Dana Coles: Spanish For Fun is a wonderful Spanish learning center. My son attends the Duraleigh location. The teachers are wonderful and reinforce learning activities that we taught our son at home. Also my son even at 11 months has learned so much while attending the school - gross and fine motor skills. I highly recommend this wonderful learning center to any parents.
Christopher Shaw: SFF Duraleigh has been a great experience for our new family! Our son has shown so much growth in the short time that he has been going there and the staff have been extremely helpful and responsive to any concerns or questions we have had. We are able to monitor daily activities through a very easy to use app and see pictures they post throughout the day. They have also kept the SFF community safe during Covid by implementing very reasonable and manageable safeguards that fall in line with NC health policies. We look forward to our continued experience with SFF and the help they provide!

Spanish For Fun: what do users think?
Kara Petersen: We LOVE SFF! It's the most warm and loving environment! The teachers clearly love the kids and each other. My kid is 2.5. They do so many fun things- dancing, music, art, indoor rock climbing gym, plus splash pad in the summer, and optional add on Soccer Shots year round. Our 1st week they had an amazing International Latin assembly and pot luck- whole school was there- so fun!SFF celebrates inclusion and diversity, and the kids are diverse. They're also so engaged! You can tell they're thriving. To the parents worried about your kids ability to learn Spanish- kids are sponges. And the teachers are so experienced helping them understand. And apparently the kids mostly speak English with one another. It's awesome to hear my kid speaking in Spanish- counting, polite phrases, days of the week...Also, the staff promotes from within, and the average tenure is quite long! We see turnover when someone gets promoted withing the SFF system- we haven't seen anyone leave yet.And when that happens, they've already hadthe same consistent "floater" teachers in their classroom, so the transition is stable.Last, it's a really clean and bright environment. I love that they use wooden furniture, like a Montessori school. So grateful for SFF!
Howard Liebman: Working with the faculty and staff at the Spanish for Fun Wake Forest campus has been outstanding! We have found all of the teachers to be very attentive and caring with our 2 1/2 year old daughter. Also, we find the administration to be open to feedback about a variety of things at the school. As an example, we provided feedback that they should use start using the "calendar feature within the school App and they immediately did it. We were very impressed with this. Also, we love that our daughter can learn spanish through immersion and fun play. Overall, I would highly recommend for Spanish for Fun!
Anthony Choy: My wife and I are so grateful for the care and attention our kiddos have received! They have gotten such an amazing immersive experience with the Spanish culture, as well as teachers, staff, and classmates that are so loving, nurturing, and supportive! Furthermore, their willingness to involve parents and family members gave us the opportunity to feel engaged and participate in such an important part of our kids' lives. Thank you so much for inviting us to be part of the SFF family!
Veronica Mobley: I love this daycare. We've always called it escuela for the kids. I have two kids who've come to Spanish For Fun. They serve morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack after nap time and introduce fruits and vegetables to the kids. The staff, including the director Carol, has not only been responsive to concerns/requests, or even "new-parent" nervousness, but has always been loving to my children, whether their teacher or not, and my children respond to them lovingly so I'm confident it's genuine. They have two dance recitals a year of which my kids have loved participating in. They also allow parents to participate in planning their kid's graduation celebration. I recommend this place to anyone, especially if wanting your kids to learn Spanish.
Julio Angel: Awesome place for our little daughter been there for a littler over 9 months now and she has learned soo much its just feels unreal we are so happy with the super Awesome staff they're very helpful, patient, friendly and for us being first time parents that's a plus and on top of that us being able to watch our daughter through the camera at anytime and anywhere makes us feel good and that's why we choose them everyday to take care of our daughter thank you so much SFF!!!
Juan Cuartas: Spanish for Fun is amazing!!!My two daughters have been attending SFF for over 5 years. Their staff and teachers are extremely friendly and loving with my girls. Their curriculum has helped my family ensure my daughters stay connected with our native language (Spanish) and our Hispanic culture. My oldest daughter is now in elementary school and attending SFF helped our family accomplish our goal of making sure our girls were fully bilingual. As if their amazing program was not enough, their family environment helped my daughters feel safe and comfortable from the beginning, giving me huge peace of mind.We love SFF!
NH & RH: We absolutely love Spanish for Fun and it’s the one place I TRUST for our kids. Not only because of their remote access security cameras but because of their entire staff! The teachers and directors are always prioritizing safety, education, collaboration, and inclusivity. There are so many kids around but somehow the ladies at the front desk, cooks, directors , teachers , assistants know each individual child as the parents arrives. My son used to be scared at drop offs. Thanks to the patience and love from Spanish for Fun he absolutely loves it and looks forward to going even on his days off :)
Danielle Sherman: We have been so satisfied and assured of the treatment that Denim has received. The staff love our child like their own. We have so appreciated the staff going above and beyond to give our child the love and care that he needs. When they say one of their pillars is Love we feel every bit of it. Thank you for everything...going to miss you all.
Aymara Zuniga: Staff and teachers are all great, highly recommend.
Taneisha Huffman: My three year old has been with SFF just after he turned one. If I can truly say that we’ve been blessed to have found and be with such a loving daycare. The staff are so passionate an caring for the little ones. You can tell they love what they do. My son loves his teachers and they love him also. He’s learning and has learned so much since being there. I love the video cameras and the communication through the teacher/parent portals.
Gracias SFF!
Ashley Kern: All 3 of our kiddos have attended SFF in WF. The staff are amazing and so loving. When deciding on daycare, I loved the idea of a facility with cameras, but honestly I rarely even check them because I know how well taken care of they are! Though we really miss Ms. Lucy the old director (still with SFF, only is a different role) the new director has been amazing- super responsive and caring. My 2 youngest have thrived here!!! My son was close to 4 when he started, so the Spanish part was difficult for him to adjust to (since we don't speak Spanish at home) but still loved his teachers and friends.
Alejandro Cerna: We brought our 4 year old from Honduras to spend the summer in Raleigh. She had a blast, she was happy to attend every day to her "summer camp" specially Fridays for splash day. We were nervous since our child did not go willingly to her regular nursery back home but she loved going to Spanish for fun. Highly recommended!
Gabriel Arévalo: Positive:ResponsivenessWe have started the school year at Spanish this year and have been happy. Ms. Jenny and Ms. Melanie have been great with our younger child and Ms. Eda with our older child. The facility has a lot to offer with the playground, splash pad, and gym.
Kailey Gibbens: As a first time mom I was so nervous to drop my four month old off at Spanish for Fun for the first time. But, after just a week or two, it became clear that the family-like feel and sincere kindness that we experienced during our tour would be the norm, every day. Our son loves his class, and especially his teachers Ms Paula and Ms Erica! They quickly got him into a routine and helped me get into one too, to make the transition easier on him. The first time he was out of class for a few days I was nervous about him coming back, worried he’d gotten used to being home again and would be upset to return - but it was just the opposite, he was all smiles at drop off and pickup - he truly loves being there!! And he especially loves his teachers, I can see it on his face each day, and in the pictures they send throughout the week (which I love!). They go above and beyond in caring for him, working on developmental milestones, and bringing fun new activities into class! I cannot say enough good things about them - they truly love to care for these little babies, and they are naturals! I am so grateful that we found Spanish for Fun to help us transition into this new phase of life.
Yesenia Montclair: We've had our infant son at Spanish For Fun! (SFF!) for a little over three months. They have exceeded ALL of our very high expectations. Our sons teachers, Paula and Erica, do an outstanding job of not only caring for our little guy but also providing us daily feedback on everything from his sleeping habits to suggestions that might help us at home. We're able to communicate everything with them directly through their easy to use app as well as check a live webcam. Both of these are such a huge relief for new parents. The administrative staff also does an excellent job of keeping us informed through weekly newsletters. I've also been extremely impressed with their consistent changes to policies that are well researched and logical.I look forward to our little guy being loved, educated and protected for years to come at SFF!
Rebeca Negron: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness
Kelsey Wittl: Our son has attended SFF Wake Forest for about 1.5 years. Their new facility is so clean, fresh and bright. Our son is in speech therapy for a delay and we worried that going to a Spanish immersion school would be difficult for him, but his language has skyrocketed in the last year. He even knows some Spanish! ALL of his teachers have been wonderful and create a great curriculum for the kids. They are loving, kind, energetic, and responsive. He loves his current teachers, Ms. Ashley & Ms. Maru. I can tell that they love him too which makes going to work much less stressful when you know your babies are getting loved on! The directors and Admin staff are also really kind and easy to communicate with.
Gabriella Bush: We could not be any happier with the teachers and administrators at Spanish For Fun, Wake Forest! Our oldest son went to another school in the area from infants through toddlers, however we were very concerned with the school's communication with parents, supervision of the children and COVID policies. When Spanish For Fun opened, we were so excited to give our children the opportunity to learn a new language and it was clear from the very beginning that the teachers absolutely love the children- this isn't "just a paycheck" for them. My oldest is in class with Ms. Jenny and Ms. Melanie and he is so so excited to see them every day! He is singing his ABCs in Spanish, can count to 20, and speaks more Spanish than even I can understand anymore! It really is amazing to watch. His classroom is beautiful, modern and there is plenty of room to play and learn. My baby is in class with Ms. Paula and Ms. Erika and wow- they are the sweetest, most loving teachers I have ever worked with. They love those babies so much and take excellent care of my son. I'm grateful to all of the teachers for the pictures and updates that they send throughout the day. The school has been consistent and very safe with their COVID policies and I appreciate the open, direct lines of communication with both teachers and admins. I could go on and on, about the beauty of the facility, the kindness of the staff, and the absolute gift it is to have my children learning from such a wonderfully diverse, dedicated and loving staff. We could not recommend the school and program any more highly!
Laila Najm: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ReliabilityWe love SFF! They have loving, dedicated teachers and staff and it's really the best second home for my toddler! Couldn't recommend enough. My 6 year old also attended a month of summer camp and she still talks about how fun it was. You guys are doing a great job.
Sarah Muniz: We love SFF! and have been very happy with our boys going there! My son just moved to kindergarten after having been with Ms. Emely for 2 years! We miss her very much! She is a great maestra and very caring! My younger son just moved to Ms. Karla’s class and is doing great as well! Muchas gracias a las maestras de SFF!
