Lestee Foye: Terrible service. The two clerks at the front desk did not even ask me if I needed help. They were having their own conversation. I asked a new clerk to see shoes. He needed help because he was inexperienced. I left. It's a shame because I have purchased shoes from this location in the past.
Y Ali: My husband loves their shoes and footwear related accessories. They're all genuine leather and extremely comfortable for his flatter feet. The staff at the Crabtree location are also very friendly and knowledgeable about their shoes and shoe care/maintenance.J&M as a brand has a variety of offerings but their clothing is a little underwhelming. Their shirts and pants all look stylish, well cut, and feel comfortable to the touch, but many of them are rayon blends which makes them thinner and wear out quickly when compared to Brookes Brothers or Banana Republic. Their shoes however, are worth the investment.

Henry Jourdan: This place is amazing! I went into the mall looking for an outfit for a big interview I have coming up, I was completely at lost of what to wear and how everything would come together. I was welcomed by the nicest most honest person I could have met(I feel so bad I can't remember his name). He helped me find the right pants, shirt, shoes, belt, and even socks for this special occasion. He gave me plenty of options but also helped me boil it down to what would finally become the perfect outfit. He was skilled in all of his knowledge, even in how my feet were shaped to find the right shoe. I now feel ready to concur the interview and ready for such a big change ahead. I now know where to go if i ever need the right fashion advice. If you are in the mall and need help with that perfect outfit I highly advise you to go in, you will be met with perfect customer service, and expertise to help you with whatever event you might need. I Can't say thank you enough!

Ashley Miller: Just came in today on a time crunch before work to grab some foundation and powder from the MAC counter, and there was only one associate working there. She was an older blonde lady wearing black Prada glasses with humongous eyelashes with a foreign accent. She was placing eyelashes on another customer so my daughter and I figured it shouldn’t take too long, we matched our colors and couldn’t find anyone other than her working so I approached her and asked where tog ran the product, as I was on this time crunch before work. She told me she was only placing lashes and it would be five minutes. She had taken a break from the previous clients lash strips to come ask what we needed, I had told her two of the shades of things we needed (I didn’t have the third matched yet), so she grabbed them and placed them by her with her client and went back to the lash client. I matched the third product and waited patiently while my daughter was picking out a lip color. Another associate showed up to clock in (long dark hair and bold cute makeup, black shirt and a double nose hoop ring in and light grey acid washed looking jeans) and she helped get my daughters two products and started ringing up the sales (they were separate orders). The the first blonde associate came up to her at the register and made her let her ring in one of the orders so she could get credit for the sale. The girl with the dark hair let her and bowed out with Grace, however, if I were her, I would have not let the blonde because she was too busy taking 15 minutes to put lashes on the other client to finish helping us and cash us out. I’d really like to leave this review in hope the blonde doesn’t keep doing this to other associates and the dark haired girl gets more credit. I work in the service industry and I know how annoyed I get when I just get to work and someone immediately asks me for something and I haven’t even fully gotten ready for my job, but she was so sweet and nice and gladly helped us immediately with no attitude or annoyed demeanor. Kudos to the dark haired girl, and shame on the blonde.

The lady who helped me pick out a perfume was so sweet that she even gave me free samples and put my things in a cute display box. Will recommend going and dealing with her and her only wish I got her name. I would've included it here. She was amazing and made my experience so much better.

The lady was at the register talking to 2 other associates and apparently I interrupted the personal conversation because I wanted to pay for my item. I then had the nerve to bring her an item without the proper tag on it and said to me “how am I supposed to ring this up?” I really don’t think that’s the customers problem and i would think between the 3 of them, they could figure out what to do. She told me I need to go back and find one with a tag and then come back. Her tone and the manners in which she spoke to me was very unnecessary. Needless to say, I walked out of the store and I will not go back. And you wonder why department stores are failing?

How you're supposed to find anything in this store is beyond me. The finer clothes are fewer and have more room but the "normal person" clothes are packed in tighter than sardines which just makes shopping difficult and totally not fun. Back to online shopping I go.

When I went to pick the earrings up the employee told me that they had been picked up already. Most places make you show ID before picking up merchandise. I’m assuming Aldo does not do that or that one of the employees stole my earrings. I contacted corporate. Corporate told me that the district manager would contact me. That was a joke. I haven’t heard anything about this situation. I’ve spent lots of money at Aldo throughout the years but they won’t get another dime of my money. Trashy service.

William Teach: The manager is rude and condescending today, 7/2/23. I wanted to exchange a pair I bought that was a little too small, was told that the pair I picked out was only for the 1st pair for buy one second half price. It's a pain having to know that when you just want some shoes, and, instead of being polite, she was snippy and rude. It would have been easy to simply do the 2nd pair, which was only $69, but, no, she had to treat a customer with a poor attitude. So, the store will get both pairs back, and I can take my business elsewhere, somewhere that isn't awful.
Highly Blessed: Burgundy shirt was EXTREMELY rude; visited today and I asked a simple question about a croc and she was upset. I called another rack room manager on the phone to verify what I was saying about the discount, and she tried to switch her story up. Then when I was walking out she was laughing at the situation with another worker (green shirt, woman) not to mention, I was not greeted or asked if I needed help; as other rack rooms does.

We found the little girl shoes area but nothing was really in it's place and all over and there really wasn't that great of a selection. As I start looking for employees I don't have to look far as 4 of them are within eye sight talking and laughing. As I start waving my arm at them to get their attention they scatter and seem perturbed that I asked for help.The store in general looked in disarray.

The cashier was not personable at all, no greeting, didn’t even look up at us. Told her I had rewards and she just said the system was down and couldn’t give them to me. I pressed and another associate said the system was fine and she was able to find my rewards. Got the shoes home and there are 2 different sizes in one of the 4 boxes…now my daughter has to go back and have them rectify that issue. There seems to be a gross lack of customer service anymore.

Help you find exactly what feels good on you, what makes you be you.. highly recommend shopping there, but you better have your money right, it is not cheap to look so good. But well worth it in the long run I have never had any regrets of all the money I spent there LOL.. the thing is I go in there every time though and I'm going to spend that much and still walk out very happy every time they have a tough decision to make when I leave there on which clothing I'm going to wear that night. If you're a little bit out of style you need to check it out for and if you're trying to get a girl take her there and buy her some clothes, it works every time..🤣🛠️👍🏼

Justin Stansell: They were short staffed when I popped in, there appeared to be a single employee and the store had about 8-10 people browsing the wares. The lone worker serviced each of us in a brief but comprehensive way. He was able to save me money by recommending an online order that would deliver to my house as opposed to a tailoring operation which I would have had to pay more for and make a second trip to the store.

Marcus Plating: Went to the store at lunchtime planning to buy a suit. It was during a relatively slow time in the store; after trying to figure out how things are organized and not being greeted once I had to check to see if I was wearing my cloak of invisibility. On my way to Men’s Wearhouse.

Ben Smith: Prior to going to this Jos. A Banks location, I made an appointment for Saturday, May 27th @ 12:00pm. When I arrived, it took 10 minutes for an employee to approach and ask if I needed assistance. I told her that I made an appointment online. That I was getting married in October and wanted to find suit colors to best match the bridesmaids dresses. She only replied back with an “ok” and walked away. When she could’ve easily said, “I’ll be right with you.”My friend and I proceeded to browse around and find color samples to hold up next to the jackets. In the background, we heard one of the employees say, “I think that couple needs help.” And they weren’t talking about us. At that point, we left and will not be going back or recommend this location. I hope the other locations in this area have been trained with better customer service.

I was super disappointed to have picked this place for my wedding attire and for my groomsmen. Suits were late and no one reached out when they were ready. Wrong sizes and wouldn’t tailor to any requests. Won’t ever go back!
Aaron Heil: Worst place I have ever been too, and I’ve been to a lot for suits and tailoring. These guys are so unorganized. It takes them 30 min just to find your suit. When you get measured they tell you your suit will be ready in about a week or two, then it takes two months, only for you to gain Lu go pick it up without the pants hemmed, which they don’t tell you in the first place. Now I’m stuck the day before the wedding trying to find a tailor. Find another place for a suit, these guys are not professional, are not organized, and don’t care if they inconvenience you.
Laura Crawley: My son and I came to this location today to shop for a suit for him. Not one of the employees working in this store greeted us or asked if they could help us. After 15 to 20 minutes of patiently waiting for someone to acknowledge us, I finally mentioned to an employee that we had not been helped. He said he would be back to us. After continuing to wait and observing another employee standing there arranging items on a table, we were approached. When we communicated what we were looking for, the employee helping us acted like he had no clue what we were asking for and very limited knowledge of their product line. Bottom line - this store location is staffed by completely unprofessional employees who obviously consider prospective customers as mere annoyances! Do not waste your time coming to this particular store!
Eric: So, I ordered 6 sport's shirts on the Jos. A. Bank website, all of which were described as "traditional fit" (per a custom search). All shirts were delivered as "tailored fit". I took them to the store for a refund, and mentioned the reason for return. What annoys me most - aside from wasting a lot of time conducting a search only to learn the system provide me with inaccurate results, is that the staff refuted my concerns, and even after looking up the information for one shirt to learn it is indeed described as "traditional fit" made no apologies, and acted as though nothing was wrong. Hardly a great experience. 😒
Dustin Trask: Purchased two custom suits. Went in for fitting, they were stock off the shelf suits. No customization at all. They took all the standard measurements to create a custom fit, but sent a stock. Don't tell me you are making me a suit then give me a stock suit you plan to alter. That friends is fraud. I will never buy anything from that place again. And made in China. Didn't know that going in. Never again.
Scott Rasmussen: This is now my go-to place for suits, shirts, ties, etc. The staff is excellent and goes above and beyond to deliver a great experience.I ordered a custom suit that wasn't quite right when it was first delivered to the store but the salesperson and in-store tailor did an outstanding job to make it right. The next version was perfect.The salespeople that helped with the next 2 custom suits were even better...what a great experience.
Jason Hosonitz: I had an excellent experience today, even though the store was short staffed. It didn’t matter that I chose to buy a suit off the sales rack and was pressed for time. The manager was polite and worked quickly to get me a shirt that met my needs and fit me well. He recommended a last minute tailor and had me out the door quickly. I’ll be back!
Stephen Odom: I ordered the suit using the wedding code in April and today, the day of the wedding, the rest of the wedding party has buttons on the cuffs of the jacket and I don’t. What’s up with that? None of the other men had to ask for buttons!
Jeff Berry: I came down to Raleigh for a wedding and had tailoring emergency and the tailor at this Jo’s a bank (I didn’t get her name) was incredibly kind and accommodating. She had my suit jacket completely done and ready to go within 24 hours and I couldn’t be happier with my experience here.

Belk Men's Department: what do users think?
Ed Salem: Barley an average store. The good old days Belk is gone.

Ryan Hancock: I haven't been here in years. Wow. This is not the Belk I grew up with. Belk looks like it is on the verge of bankruptcy. A good portion of their "flagship" men's store is empty. Empty space, racks and walls. It reminded me of Sears from the early 2000's.I was looking at sports jackets, some of the ones I picked up actually had dust on them. The fitting room was piled with clothes and smelled like urine. After finding a dress shirt I liked, I had to walk around the store just to find someone to pay for it. I could have easily have just walked out, but I'll bet that the security office was the one place they actually have an associate. That being said, when I did find someone to give them my money, the associate (shoe department) was super kind and helped me save some money with a coupon. I did the survey and gave him kudos, I can only hope Belk will recognize him. I swear he was the only associate in that entire store! God bless him.
