Robert Stephens: You need to be prepared to wait, hour plus, to get a table. However, there is beverage and appetizer service to the waiting area. The food is amazing. The menu changes to always something new to try.

gregory ewan: Just had a birthday dinner at Stanbury and can promise you this place is world class elite. From the extensive small plates menu, to the concise, selective, but thoughtful entrée menu, the amazing wine and cocktail program, to the mind blowing dessert menu, this establishment is the total package. They do not simply sell you a product, they decorate time. I can't imagine having had a better time spent in a more beautiful space full of incredible people.
Brian Brimmage: This is one of the few restaurants in Raleigh where we have been consistently impressed, every time, with our meal. We usually split many small plates, and always have a hard time deciding because everything is so good. Small, cozy, with great service, delicious food, and phenomenal cocktails.
dan smith: Amazing food in an unpretentious setting. The focus is on the food and the folks behind the bar are doing great too. Nobody is cooking better food in Raleigh at this price point. I genuinely love this restaurant. If I have a bad experience here I will modify my review but until that happens I’ll just keep adding pictures of the incredible food when I come back (every chance I get) when I remember to take pictures.
Chris Harbinson: Great small & large plate options. The bar makes some really tasty drink options as well. Fun place for celebratory dinners.
Patrick McCaully: Stanbury is the best restaurant in Raleigh. I love dining here with new friends, old friends or just my spouse. The menu is adventurous and ever changing. No reservations caters to keeping the approach egalitarian. Can't say enough to praise this Raleigh institution.

Mark S: I really liked this place even though some of the food was not necessarily in line with my tastes. I was able to find a few things that I liked. The staff are very proficient and the food itself is different (in a good way) than any restaurant I have ever eaten at.
