Nick DeMarco: I hadn't been to RT in a while. It used to be much nicer. The whole experience was meh-minus. The restaurant was unclean, and I could see broken plaster on the walls. My chicken sandwich was boring and hastily assembled. The fries were cold. Not 'not hot' or 'warm' but COLD. Who does that?The server was clearly overworked. I felt really bad for her. I tipped well, even though the experience was a big disappointment. RT used to be a stable place for a few beers and decent food. I think their management has taken their eye off the ball. Shake it up. Raleigh needs reliable downtown entertainment spots. See my review of Beasley's - but that's not a 'watering hole' spend-the-evening kind of place.

R. E.: Went last night around 8pm. The food took awhile to come out and when it did it was lukewarm and undercooked. Had to wait at our table for about 20 minutes before being greeted by a waitress and only saw her when she took our order and brought our food. Wasn’t even offered a menu just a QR code for an online menu. Good thing no one left their phones I guess. Not once did anyone check on us, asked if we wanted refills, desert, or anything else. It didn’t appear to be busy. Friend asked for a condiment from another staff member and was ignored. The service was atrocious and the food was lacking. Won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend.

Elaine Manabat: First time going here with my husband during our date night. The place was empty I guess coz it was early. The bartenders were excellent, the atmosphere was great. We asked about the greenlight room which I heard about from a coworker. One of the bartenders was kind enough to give us a little peak inside. We've never experienced this much interaction with the bartenders before, maybe because it wasn't busy yet that time. We appreciated the time they took for us. Will be coming back next date night for sure.

Security also barged into the girls restroom because someone complained another woman was “taking too long” using the restroom, super uncomfortable. Xclusive Baskets: Fui a Virgils para tener una cena de cumpleaños. Esperamos 15 minutos por el camarero después de preguntar a otros servidores que finalmente lo encontraron. Muniba Khan: The food was alright but we had to wait about 50 minutes for our paella. If you're going to have a wait that long, you should offer some chips and salsa on the house because that's super unprofessional. I liked the paella but it had like 3 small bites of chicken throughout the whole dish. The margaritas were good though.

In the summer when you need to cool off it's great - the bartender is a huge hydrohomie and his cocktails are always cool and refreshing.The prices seem high until you realize just how expensive some of the bottles used in the drinks are, the creative process behind the drinks, the skill in mixing, and the fact that you're in a popular part of Raleigh.

The small bar was mostly filled with folks (bartenders?) talking shop with the bartender who was obviously well respected by the folks at the bar. Gin and tonic and bartender’s choice dirty martini were both lovely. Several local bartenders have recommended Aunty Betty’s for craft cocktails and I was definitely not disappointed and will comeback soon.
