She’s been in Spring Arbors Memory Care for the past two months, it was difficult for her in the beginning. I saw her for the first time in several weeks, she looks better than she has in the past three years. She is extremely happy, loves the people there, and I can tell without a doubt she’s been well taken care of and that the atmosphere has helped her tremendously. When I went to see her, I was afraid she would look like this is the last place on earth she wanted to be and that she would look miserable. My son and I brought lunch for her and we sat in the activity room, as we were spreading out the food, she sat back in the chair with a gleam on her face as if she were inviting us into her new home and her surroundings. She was extremely happy. She would talk about all the activities and the ones she especially liked and wanted us to come back to experience them with her. A HUGE blessing for me to see her this way. I can tell she really has enjoyed being around other people A LOT! Also she goes on and on about how much she likes the people that help her. Her interaction with the girls there was a blessing to see!

Tillie Turlington: Spring Arbor is a wonderful place if you have a loved one who needs that kind of facility. They are very welcoming from the front door all the way to the memory care unit. Sandra and her staff are very kind people and are willing to meet whatever need you might have.

Phillip Powell: This place is a terrible place to work at. The lady name Sandra is a big liar and is very rude and unprofessional. She walks around calling people girl and the housekeeping supervisor is very clueless himself. It only took a week before it was time to leave that dump and I really feel sorry for the good staff and the wonderful residents. Whoever hired these two shouldn’t be able to hire another person ever again and should be fired themselves.

Andy Ulmer: My father lived here for about two years. I don't have anything but positive things to say. I had an easy time reaching staff about any concerns - all of whom were happy to help (you don't get passed around). The simple thing that stood out the most - I would often hear staff interact with my dad as we were on the phone together. Whether they had snacks or medications they were unfailing polite, patient, and just plain pleasant. This time in your life is not so great - especially this last year. But, just staffing the place with good people makes a big difference. Kudos to the folks who work there.

T C-T: This is the worst place I ever worked for. They have the worst attitudes. HR Mary Beth has the worst personality. She nasty toward staff, and it is allowed by E.D Sandra.I’ve never seen a place so unprofessional in all my days of working in the nursing field. I gave this place a shot after all the bad I’ve heard and experienced. I didn’t make it a month. I totally understand why they can’t keep any staff. The new company needs to start from the head, and clean that place out. I fell in love with the residents but the way I was spoken to by HR was overwhelming and uncalled for. Sandra allows her to speak that way. The staff walk around not talking to each other. It’s a horrible workplace environment . They bring you in you think they’re so nice and sweet, and soon as your first day. They just throw you out there. Come in don’t speak to each other, don’t ask new staff are they ok.. I would love to speak with Corp. I could go on and on..They need to know why they have such a big turn over rate..I feel sorry for the residents and the good staff that’s still there.. some of the things I’ve seen happened in there made me afraid to stay. Medication errors, wrong dosage, pills left on bedside table. Scary place to work. I was happy to leave. But if HR was removed I would of gladly stayed.. Sandra isn’t bad but she starting to pick up bad habits from that rude little Mary Beth.

Stuart .Bernstein: My mother has been in Cottage Care for almost two years. I love the staff and how they respect and care for the residents. In this time of COVD-19 when I am unable to visit my mother, they have set up FaceTime calls so I can see her. Spring Arbor has not been hit with the virus, after 5 months, so I know they must be going to great lengths to protect the residents and themselves. I couldn't be happier with this facility.

Sherri Johnson: Be AWARE !! Read the contract. It DOES NOT say the family may be responsible for cost of care Each month to the facility AFTER the patient has been approved for Medicaid coverage . But we are now being told that we have to pay $694 / mo. Such a awful shock!

S K: The staff at spring arbor--particularly those in the memory care unit--are some of the nicest, most compassionate people I have met. My family had experience with three different facilities and the care,concern, and communication that I saw from spring arbor staff was top notch. The facilities are clean and the staff is incredibly professional. My grandmother recently passed and the staff went to extraordinary measures to provide her comfort and showed such generosity of time and spirit to my family in a very difficult time. Truly, they made our experience as positive and low stress as it possibly could have been--I am so thankful my family was able to entrust my grandmother to their care.

They planned, executed and completed an entire household move in just over two days -- it was flawless.
