Yonathan Debela: The hotel is not that clean overall, it looks old and beaten up, but I didn’t expect to find roaches in my rooms which I had to change rooms twice. I guessed they are having some kind of infestation. But, overall the hotel is in a good spot close to a couple of good bbq places.

Andrew Hobbs: Our toilet stopped flushing. Our keys stopped working literally every day. The hotel has leaks and the elevators are multiple years out of inspection with missing bolts in the panels and take up to 15 minutes to arrive. Out room had multiple broken tiles and the bathroom had mold. No stairs from the lobby so it’s a fire hazard. The restaurant was overpriced and bland. There was a homeless guy in the lobby asking people to rent him a room that the staff did nothing about. No fridge or microwave in any room and some of the ice machines don’t work, and since they are on random floors you will have to run around the whole hotel to get ice. The door to the room also wouldn’t close all the way unless you pull on it with all your weight so it could be potentially reopened without a key. Half the escalators don’t work. The room also had silverfish.

C Bee: I had breakfast Monday morning while waiting for my business partner to come and join me. I was blown away at how delicious the food was. I'm in the food and beverage industry, and I sometimes like to taste other chef's food. I had to ask who the chef was. The young lady told me Darrin made the breakfast. The grits were perfect, and the hotel was spot on for great customer service. Thanks so much Sheraton for the great hospitality!!
Audrey Pryor: Everyone was super polite and inviting. Very welcoming and close to lots of restaurants and other events going on in Raleigh. Kiki and Chris stood out to our group and they were fantastic along with the rest of the worker there! We had an amazing experience! Definitely worth the money!!

James Ge: Everything was great except for the hotel surroundings and transient open lobbyRooms, stayed on the club level, the room looked renovated according to the updated Sheraton brand, although the ceiling had some strange marks, bathroom amenities were goodLounge, the staff was very hospitable, and for an American club lounge the hot dishes were remarkably good - considering US dining times you’ll not find a space between 530pm - 630pm ish, come at seven the lounge is yours, with dishes being replenished even 10min before dinner is supposed to wrap up, there are dozens of non alcoholic beverages and plenty of snacksThe only off putting bit was the combination of lobby architecture - being accessible from two sides and a connected building, which led to some odd folks roaming around, maybe it’s a trade off for being in what appeared to be downtownIf you come here from Bonvoy to double check against the 3.x rating the hotel has received there, I completely disagree itIt’s a solid Sheraton with updated rooms on the club level, a good club lounge and friendly staff - and I say that as a long time ambassador status holderI’d stay here again, but a bit of lobby security wouldn’t hurt
Brice Pinkowski: Great location in the heart of Raleigh. Just certain parts of the room show its age, with warping floors and cracks in the corners. Despite these small things it is very clean and a comfortable place to stay.
Sam Sletten: Pros: Lovely front desk staff, good air conditioning.Cons: Rooms.Traveling as a group, of 3 rooms that we checked into 2 had to be changed. The first room's door had a security latch that was completely sawn through. The second room had not been cleaned after the previous occupant. All three rooms had either cheap or highly worn vinyl flooring that was coming undone. Hooks for the showers were old/warped and as a result occupants had to re-hang the shower liner. One request to replace a broken coffee maker was ignored.I am a regular guest at Sheraton Hotels and have never seen a property in this rough of condition. Would stay away until property undergoes another renovation.
Bojan Cukic: Whenever I need to stay close to the Raleigh convention center, I choose Sheraton. The hotel is clean, and the service is outstanding. Rooms could use an update, particularly bathrooms.

Lois Petersen: Beautiful, newer hotel located on the campus of NC State University. I had room 401, a spacious corner room with huge windows overlooking landscaping on one side & the city on the other. Everything is clean and well stocked. Outdoor heated pool, workout room & restaurant with bar. Some rooms overlook Lake Raleigh. What really stands out about State View is the service. It has been quite a while since I was greeted with such sincere welcome and hospitality at a hotel. Staff are very professional and accommodating. I have no complaints at all and highly recommend.
George Yorgakaros: Lovely hotel and where my partner and I stay every time we're in Raleigh. The rooms are clean and the hotel is nice - but where StateView really makes the difference is with service. Every person I've ever met at the front desk has greeted me with a smile and has been extraordinarily helpful. At the bar, Mimi went above and beyond even after they had closed to grab me an iced tea - a simple request, sure, but one that definitely put her out, given they had already closed.The fitness room is well-equipped and never crowded and the pool is comfortable and has plenty of outdoor seating above and around it.
Rene Bystron: As an Ambassador Elite member at Marriott, I've stayed at many of their properties. Unfortunately, Stateview Hotel is not one I can recommend.The hotel's physical aspects are decent. The rooms are okay and the dining staff is friendly. However, the management's lack of customer service and efficiency taints the overall experience.I ran into a problem when I asked for a simple request: to include both guests' names on the folio. I was assured by the receptionist this would be done. It wasn't.Despite my follow-up emails, I received only generic responses from a manager named Nakyla Barnes. They were quick to apologize, but my request was ignored. It's been three weeks now, and I'm still waiting for that folio.It's clear there's an issue with the mid-level management at this hotel. Their indifference towards customers' needs is shocking. If Stateview wants to improve, they must address this.In conclusion, Stateview Hotel is a letdown. If you're a Marriott member, I suggest you consider other properties.
Monica Tornros Jakobsson: We stayed at the Stateview hotel for 3 nights, and we wished we hadn't booked so many nights. Front desk staff was not friendly at all. Breakfast was so so. Rooms were way too dark. Bed did not suit me, it was so hard. My back was so stiff and I ended up sitting in the futon for the most of the night. There was of course some positive things too. Pool area is really nice. Location is great.

Frankie: We were attending my wife's annual Family reunion. This year it took place in Raleigh N. C. This was the hotel that was picked for the weekend family reunion . All inside festivities and the family dinner . My wife enjoyed the hotel and the surrounding area so much we extended our stay for an extra (3) days. The service is outstanding starting with the Manger Cory .Habitaciones: Our room was very comfortable, clean and had great lighting.Actividades cerca de mi ubicación: There are many great shops that you can walk to and shop or window shopSeguridad: It was a very safe area we did lots of walking around and sometimes into the late evening and the streets had plenty of lights and people walking biking and running.Posibilidad de caminar: This was one of the best parts of this area. There are places for great three course dinners and places for a quick bite.
David Dobbs: Beds were uncomfortable worn down too soft. The shower was awesome, very powerful. A/C was a bit noisy. Nice clean hotel. Great view of Raleigh skyline.Easy walk to nearby restaurants.
swathi nakka: The service was very bad. No body lotion in the bathroom and have to call for that . I was asked to come down and pick it up. No house keeping for two days and the reason was they are short on their staff. They didn't even tell me thus at the time of checking in. I found a paper that had that information slipped under the door when I woke up. The water from the toilet tank was leaking and the entire bathroom was flooded. When called for the service, the answer was they have one engineer who is working onsite and he is busy, will come and attend on priority bases. I was in the toilet the next day getting ready for the shower snd someone knocked the door, even before I responded he just uncloed my door from outside a d was about to come in, I quickly dressed up and it was the engineer who was impatient and wanted to get his job done . So he can actually get into the room without my permission. Even the cheapest motel will not have this kind of pair service. This place is just overrated and a rip off.

Clarice Ward: Soy local en el área, así que estaba muy emocionado de quedarme en el hotel; North Hills es una ubicación de primer nivel y hay mucha publicidad sobre el hotel.El personal del hotel era muy amable y servicial, pero parecían un poco agotados. También solo me dieron sugerencias verbales sobre dónde estacionar y cómo acceder al hotel desde el estacionamiento, un mapa impreso hubiera sido útil.La habitación era... repugnante. Hay manchas en la alfombra, manchas amarillas en las fundas de las almohadas, pero el baño era lo peor: había una uña enorme en el piso, cabello en el asiento del inodoro, en la ducha y en el piso. Las alfombrillas de baño también estaban sucias. El gerente de limpieza estaba repleto de excusas y el personal de limpieza se veía desaliñado. La limpieza es un problema importante en el hotel, pero aparentemente la gerencia de Marriott no se da cuenta.Esto NO es lo que esperaba del hotel. Dice ser un hotel de 4 estrellas, pero parecía más un 3 estrellas. La estancia definitivamente no valió la pena el precio.Basándome en mi experiencia reciente, aconsejaría saltarse el hotel y disfrutar de la maravillosa cena en los restaurantes de los alrededores, en su lugar, alojarse en otro lugar.

Topher Brooker: Great location near convention center, and room appeared to be clean. HOWEVER, these issues were huge.1.) No clean towels in the morning to provide us.2.) Broken elevator3.) Rude staff that hangs up the phone/is lazy4.) No breakfast5.) Agent Gomez PR: Please DO NOT STAY HERE! the upper rooms have really bad mold. The curtains on the back of them facing outside have mold on them from the cool air meeting the heat from the windows. It's bad mold too we changed rooms and the new room still had it. We were planing to extend but not anymore. The night shift lady was super nice but the 1st shift lady didn't care at all about it. She acted as though their was nothing she could do. Things why I'm writing this post. 150$ is too much money to put our health at risk. Please check the back side of your blinds b4 staying in the room

Dennis Haynes: Este hotel necesita una renovación seria. Fui miembro platino de IHG y nunca me he alojado en la peor habitación. La recepcionista no fue muy poco profesional. No dio instrucciones claras sobre el estacionamiento ni mencionó nada sobre el hotel durante el registro. Básicamente me dio la llave y me dijo el número de mi habitación y el ascensor estaba en el segundo y quinto piso. Cuando llegué a la habitación me sorprendió. La habitación tenía manchas en la alfombra. La silla del escritorio estaba desgastada en varios lugares y se estaba despegando en el asiento de la silla. He visto sillas en la acera para recoger la basura mejor que la silla del escritorio de mi habitación de hotel. Había óxido en la base de la lámpara, la superficie del escritorio tenía grandes manchas de agua, los azulejos del baño no estaban limpios en las paredes, se podía buscar la tubería de la ducha que sobresalía del agujero en la pared.Apuesto a que obtendré la misma respuesta enlatada de la administración que brindan a todos. Ni siquiera pueden escribir una respuesta original. Se disculpará por mi insatisfacción, pero espero que me quede allí en el futuro para cambiar de opinión sobre el lugar. Kathryn Reusch: El personal es maravilloso y muy servicial. El hotel en realidad no tiene un servicio de transporte desde el aeropuerto, a pesar de lo que le dirán ciertos sitios. Hay desayuno, y son donas o panecillos preenvasados o avena, con café o té. Hay un conjunto de refrigeradores de bebidas y algunos bocadillos disponibles para comprar. Las habitaciones claramente necesitan una renovación, pero están limpias y son funcionales. Los baños están configurados de manera un tanto incómoda, de modo que prácticamente tiene que meterse en la bañera para cerrar la puerta, y la habitación está diseñada y los espejos están colocados de manera que no hay mucha privacidad para cambiarse si comparte. No está mal, pero necesita una actualización.
Mollie Brown: At check in the two ladies working were busy talking to each other - we had to wait for their conversation to end before we were helped.We were in our room when the door opened and another guest walked in - talk about unsettling. They had given someone else the same room claiming we all had the same last name (were they not actually checking ID’s as they should have been?). We went to leave our room & needed to get back in - couldn’t because they had deactivated our key cards. Went to get new cards & they went in to how they de-magnetize easily - told them it wasn’t the key, it was them giving someone our room & them de-activating everyone’s cards.Really just not pleased with this whole check in/staff interaction - it felt like they weren’t paying attention & this incident was a direct result of their actions.There is only one working elevator for 20ish floors.The rooms, common spaces & furniture were covered in rips and stains.Overall the location and price point are the only thing this place had going for it. Would not return.
Cat: It’s okay. Old and outdated. The toilet and shower were in such a small space. Smelled like bleach in the hallways. Location was solid.

Andrew Gaeta: As an over the road trucker, I often look for extended stay hotels when I get one so I can use the in-room kitchenettes. This hotel has a very nice kitchenette setup compared to others I've been to, it's a nice clean hotel with friendly staff. The only issue I have with service is I found the Candlewood Cupboard at this one I found to be both lacking in product selection and overpriced as compared to other Candlewoods.The location while it is a nice area is right next to possibly the loudest street I've slept near in Raleigh or any mid tier hotel for that matter.Like all Candlewoods it's pet friendly and while others I've been to often have pet welcoming packages this one does not. That being said, they have much better yard space to walk dogs at. The pet fee is also a very cheap flat rate of $75 as opposed to other hotels where you pay a nightly fee.Note that Candlewoods nationwide don't offer daily suite cleaning, only doing this once per week of extended stays. You can request additional service, but bear in mind they expect people to temporarily live in these hotels. Personally I find the lack of a daily housekeeping service preferable, leading to less disruption.All in all, I would highly recommend this Candlewood to anyone seeking an extended stay hotel in Raleigh.
Cheryl Jordan: We stayed here three nights and would do it again. It is centrally located, clean and quiet, except for the guest next door banging the door while checking our. Austin, I think that's her name, is outstanding. The hotel is walking distance to great restaurants and a large mall.

illWill “Âzazel”: Me and my fiance and my senior American Staffordshire Terrier have been staying here for close to 3 months Id say. This place is amazing, we were staying at Extended Stay and were loyal to them for over a year & hf until we were harassed by employees and management alike. We stay to ourselves and we haven't had any issues with the staff they are polite and courteous when we see them. They provide services that are a Godsend like laundry and bathroom amenities that we don't have to come out of pocket for. That is a blessing in itself. I would recommend this place to anyone. Timothy bulleman: Worst bed I have slept on in a long time! Do not stay here if you have any back issues! Top it off with a cancellation fee of $103 plus the cost of going to another hotel. Truly I have never had to cancel a reservation Due to a bed. I kept my wife up all night and if I had a decent chair in the room I would have slept there. I am going to eat the fee and get a good nights sleep at the Hampton inn down the street! Burnzone A.L.: I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. Rooms were clean. full kitchen stocked. Bed was super comfortable. Hotel was quiet. The girl who checked us in was a an absolute doll. So helpful! Outdoor patio with bbq grill. For the price I would have expected much less. Will definitely stay here again.
Jo Brady: This is an older facility (you can always tells by the layers of caulk in the bath, lol), but clearly money has been invested recently. The most important comment I have is that the (king) bed is incredibly comfortable!!! Unlike competitors (M****tt), the bed is AWESOME! The property is maintained and quiet. Full size fridge, microwave, 2 burner stove. Bathroom a little dated and ceiling fixture is dim. Room is spacious. Would definitely stay here again!Habitaciones: Room is large studio, recently refurbished and well done. Well laid out and traveler friendly. Bed is SUPER comfortable! There’s a recliner in the room, along with desk chair and kitchen type chair. Full length mirror.
Michael Welch: Love this place. The rooms are so clean. All rooms on the 1st floor have no carpet. Rooms are cleaned very thoroughly (no nasty little hairs left behind in the tub or around the toilet either) they actually come and clean your room once a week like they say they will, unlike some places that say they do and then you have to go ask for it to actually be done. Every single person that works here is super nice and helpful. There's a little store with snacks and necessities. Free coffee, it could taste better but it could also taste worse. They have board games and a few kitchen appliances that can be borrowed. Free laundry. And, it's by apartments for people 55 and older so it's peaceful and seems to be pretty safe. Been here for almost 5 months and no complaints so far.
Charles Williamson: I am a Diamond Elite IHG member and I booked a room using my points for my 18 year old daughter and her friend She was attending the Stevie Nicks concert. When she arrived they would not allow her and her to check in because she was under 21. We live over 2 hours away. So that would of meant her having to drive all the way back late at night. It’s sad to know that a customer that stays over 2/3 of the year in IHG properties would turn away there daughter only because she is 18 years old. Which in the United States considers a legal adult. What if she was broke down and had no were to go. You can’t depend on this company to take care of your kids!
Hannah Lynch “Baby snake”: If I could give more then five stars I would. The staff is so nice. The price is reasonable The room is extremely nice and spacious. It’s quiet and the people are nice that stay here too. I’ve been here for a little while and I don’t mind having to stay for a while at all. It actually feels like an apartment. Again it’s clean and the staff are amazing.

Kevin Mathews: Overall Rating: 4.9/5. This hotel sets you up in your own personal apartment room. My room was set up with a kitchen (No oven, but other goodies)! They supplied cooking equipment so that I could cook a basic meal AND keep leftovers in the large refrigerator. Don't worry about washing dishes in the sink because there's a dishwasher. The rest of the room and bathroom were in great condition. It felt clean to me. I would have rated a perfect score but I felt that a few surfaces in the bathroom could have deserved more attention. Joy: A favorite accommodation of my husband and I. Cordial staff. No breakfast but the one bedroom suite we prefer is always clean organized fully equipped kitchen full size fridge within the very nice galley style kitchen- dishwasher top stove microwave- paper towels dishwashing detergent and dishwasher washer detergent. We buy items and stick in the fridge- cook or heat in the microwave- dishes utensils glasses available. Larger appliances like a slow cooker air fryer etc available just to sign in at the front desk. Two televisions in the suite which is nice for us bc we can look at different venues or no tv at all. There is a door that be closed - to the living room area - creating privacy if needed. The one bedroom suites are located toward the ends of the hotel making it just steps to the parking area. There is a complimentary laundry area adjacent to the fitness studio- sundries laundry items available for purchase at a small kiosk at the front desk area.The hotel is secure with a key only access even after dark at the entrance. Situated in an area many conveniences available- mall’s hospitals major airport several major highways and routes.

Thomas Ski: I didn't like the sheets/blankets...I sweat under them, and the shower didn't quite get hot enough. Besides that, the place is an animal friendly place and tons of room for you pets to do business. People are friendly and courteous the room was huge. Remote control for tv was an experiment in patience to understand but figured it out. Overall, great time there!!!! Kudos! Breakfast was delightful.

We got to the room and there was only one cup and it was used with lipstick stains on it. The 2 queen bedroom suite with pullout couch has a separate sink, refrigerator, microwave, and keurig coffee maker.Detalles destacados: The free breakfast was amazing! They had a pancake machine, muffins, pastries, bagels, wheat toast, cheese omelets, turkey sausages, biscuits, oatmeal and toppings, cereal, fruits, Juices and coffee.

Lahna Harper: BED BUGS!!!! Do NOT stay in this hotel. The staff confirmed multiple cases have been reported and could have been reported for the room we stayed in, and they let us stay there anyway. I also overheard one of the staff members complaining about a co worker who was not changing the bedding in the rooms if they didn’t appear “soiled”. Unbelievable.
