Aiden Zhichao: This Is a place to play old-school and new-school games with friends and family while drinking an excellent beer. I would not recommend it for kids, as it's a full bar for adults. Also has air hockey table, basket ball hoops, and tons of pin ball machines. Make sure you have money to spend as all the games are not free.

Jermy: Its okay, something to do if you''re bored, but its small and not a lot of games. The patio didnt feel like it wanted people to stay for a while. Cup holders exist but arent well thought out. Well thought out means, try playing pun ball with both hands while grabbing your drink, and keeping your cup of tokens somewhere, all while its crowded. Solve that problem around each game for a better experience.Once was enough for me.oh and they let babies, toddlers, children in to run around, I prefer not to be around kids at the bar. Dogs are fine tho!

store Music: Was there one night and saw security kick a guy out by dumping him over the railing and into the trash, meanwhile staff laughed about it. Security also barged into the girls restroom because someone complained another woman was “taking too long” using the restroom, super uncomfortable. Lastly management is super unprofessional, has 22 year old bartenders messaging former employees being a petty sounding board for the company super professional. On top of the fact that most of their bartenders here under pour and over charge.

Blaire Bear: Do NOT go here on karaoke night or EVER! We arrived at 9 and signed up for a song as it was my friends last night in the US and karaoke with us was one last thing she needed to check off her list. Another girl walked up in front us when were called and stole the slot we signed up for when it was finally called (2+ hours later). When we tried to explain the situation one of the guys at the stage (blond longish hair, black tank-top, and tattoos) started to scream at us and talk over us without listening repeating what was not relevant. Managed to hold off tears until I got home but I had only wanted to explain what happened he could of just politely said he couldn't help us. Instead he tried to escalate the whole thing for no reason! My friends boyfriend walked up to just see what was going on and the guy immediately changed his behavior being nicer to us (barely) but while trying to square up with him for no reason. We had to claim he wasn't with us to get the dude to stop. Even if he has had issues in the past to make him cautious with guys it was uncalled for. Honestly, the way he was acting he seemed like he wanted to start a fight. Hopefully, this was just an off night for the guy but it was truly horrible, unprofessional, and dangerous staff behavior. This the first time in all my years that I have ever had an issue at a bar. I will NEVER go here again and I STRONGLY discourage anyone else to go here.

Lydia Cato: WOW!! We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Market Hall in May 2023, and we cannot say enough good things about them!!! The venue and the staff were absolutely incredible. From the sales director Kristen and the account manager Samantha to the bartending and catering staff- everyone was beyond amazing. We felt so special on our wedding day, because of how attentive, helpful, friendly, and kind everyone was.Market Hall had EXCELLENT communication with us starting from the very first time we toured the venue. We really appreciated their email reminders/check-ins and communication throughout our planning process. We felt so supported! Management was always quick to return our e-mails anytime we had questions.Obviously, the setting of Market Hall in City Market, across from Moore Square, is breathtaking- but the building, furniture provided, and details (beautiful string lighting inside as well as in the streets surrounding the venue) are gorgeous as well.It was important to us to find a venue that had getting ready areas for both the bride AND the groom. Market Hall has 2 separate suites ON SITE, for both the bride and the groom. Not only do they provide space for getting ready- but they also provide drinks and lunch for the bridal parties before the event.As for the food- WOW! They make the best shrimp & grits that I have ever had. We received SO many compliments from our guests who shared that Market Hall has the best wedding food they have ever had. They have unique and delicious food/appetizer offerings that aren't your "typical" basic wedding food offerings- they were all so amazing and memorable.We have continued to receive compliments from friends and family who continue to share what a special and amazing experience they had here.Thank you again to everyone at Market Hall!

The guests commented about how they received excellent service at the bar during the event, and everyone LOVED the food. The staircase was absolutely beautiful along with the bridal and groom suites. I would highly recommend street closure they offer. Market Hall surpassed our expectations for a wedding venue, and we would recommend it to everyone!

It was also very convenient to have tables, chairs, silverware, decor, etc. included in the venue rental. We would highly recommend Market Hall!

Veronica De La Rosa - Clark: Fantastic venue for a party in downtown Raleigh. We attended a wedding reception there, and everything was perfect.
Rose Bequet: Market Hall staff kept us on track during the planning process and made everything seamless for my parents 35th Anniversary Party. Food was excellent! Bar service was OUTSTANDING (major props to the bartenders - they were friendly, engaging with the guest, and all around wonderful). Food was on time and delicious - our guests especially loved the oyster bar! Really everything was perfect!

Mark Ramsey: Shelley was great in all aspects of organization. From choosing the right floor layout, to ensuring the theflow of the event, everything was great from an organizational perspective. Being able to taste the food before the event ensured we were confident in the menu we were providing to guests. The venue itself was perfect for our holiday party, especially having a space for a cocktail hour before. Overall this was a great event and the market hall staff were very professional. Communication was great and they ensured that we had everything we needed. The food was beyond amazing and the venue itself was tastefully decorated for the holidays.
Karen Burke: Lovely set up, simple and bordering on elegant. Not sure if the caterers were part of the venue or separate, but they were totally on task, and lots of smiles.One of the exit doors has a step down which needs to be addressed.

Communication during the planning process was thorough and clear, and my emails were always answered promptly. I enjoyed having the opportunity to have a couple of video planning calls, it made it much more personal and gave me great confidence in the execution of the event. It was also fantastic to have access to the event portal to review and make adjustments to the floorplan as needed. Definitely recommend!

Stephanie Milosh: I've had the opportunity to work at Market Hall in Downtown Raleigh a number of times through the years, and I love how each couple is able to transform the space and make it their own. The neutral colors and industrial vibe are a blank canvas, and the wooden divider wall between ceremony and reception space is a beautiful backdrop. The dressing suites are comfortable and the venue includes food for the wedding parties. The food from the in-house caterers are always incredible, and the photo opportunities in surrounding downtown are endless - plus, everyone loves the cobblestone road right outside! Always happy to plan weddings in this beautiful venue.

Topher Brooker: Great location near convention center, and room appeared to be clean. HOWEVER, these issues were huge.1.) No clean towels in the morning to provide us.2.) Broken elevator3.) Rude staff that hangs up the phone/is lazy4.) No breakfast5.) Agent Gomez PR: Please DO NOT STAY HERE! the upper rooms have really bad mold. The curtains on the back of them facing outside have mold on them from the cool air meeting the heat from the windows. It's bad mold too we changed rooms and the new room still had it. We were planing to extend but not anymore. The night shift lady was super nice but the 1st shift lady didn't care at all about it. She acted as though their was nothing she could do. Things why I'm writing this post. 150$ is too much money to put our health at risk. Dennis Haynes: This hotel needs a serious renovation. I was a platinum member with IHG and I have never stayed at a worst room. The receptionist was not very unprofessional. She didn’t give clear directions about parking or mention anything about the hotel during checking. She basically gave me the key and told me my room number and the elevator was on 2nd and 5th floors. When I got to the room I was surprised. The room had stains on the carpet. The desk chair was worn in several places and pealing up on the seat of the chair. I have seen chairs out out on the curb for trash pick up nicer then my hotel room desk chair. Their was rust on the lamp base, desk top had water large water stains, the tile in the bathroom wasn’t clean on the walls, you could seek the shower pipe sticking through the hole in the wall.I bet I will get the same canned response from the management that they give everyone. They can’t even write a original response. He will apologize for my dissatisfaction but hope I might stay there in the future to change my mind about the place. I will not stay here again. Noel Jennings, please learn how to cut and paste. We can all see your grammatical errors when you leave your response and we can see the extra commas, blank lines, or opening greeting twice.
David Bohn: Just plain bad. Only one working elevator, lobby smells, rooms outdated, smallest bathroom you’ve ever seen. Needs a major renovation. Or just knock the thing down and start over. Only reason it’s 2 stars is for the location. Go somewhere else.
Kathryn Reusch: The staff are wonderful and very accommodating. The hotel does not actually have a shuttle from the airport, despite what certain sites will tell you. There is breakfast, and it is pre-packaged donuts or muffins or oatmeal, with coffee or tea. There is a set of drink fridges and some snacks available for purchase. The rooms pretty clearly need a refresh, but they are clean and functional. The bathrooms are set up somewhat awkwardly so that you have to practically step into the tub to close the door, and the room is laid out and the mirrors are positioned so that there is not a lot of privacy for changing if you are sharing. Not bad, but needs an update.
Mollie Brown: At check in the two ladies working were busy talking to each other - we had to wait for their conversation to end before we were helped.We were in our room when the door opened and another guest walked in - talk about unsettling. They had given someone else the same room claiming we all had the same last name (were they not actually checking ID’s as they should have been?). We went to leave our room & needed to get back in - couldn’t because they had deactivated our key cards. Went to get new cards & they went in to how they de-magnetize easily - told them it wasn’t the key, it was them giving someone our room & them de-activating everyone’s cards.Really just not pleased with this whole check in/staff interaction - it felt like they weren’t paying attention & this incident was a direct result of their actions.There is only one working elevator for 20ish floors.The rooms, common spaces & furniture were covered in rips and stains.Overall the location and price point are the only thing this place had going for it. Would not return.
Cat: It’s okay. Old and outdated. The toilet and shower were in such a small space. Smelled like bleach in the hallways. Location was solid.

Thomas Ski: I didn't like the sheets/blankets...I sweat under them, and the shower didn't quite get hot enough. Besides that, the place is an animal friendly place and tons of room for you pets to do business. People are friendly and courteous the room was huge. Remote control for tv was an experiment in patience to understand but figured it out. Overall, great time there!!!! Kudos! Breakfast was delightful.

Chris B: Llegamos al hotel y descubrimos que la piscina y el jacuzzi están cerrados. Deberían informar a la gente de eso antes para que pudiéramos haber conseguido otro hotel. Llegamos a la habitación y solo había una taza y estaba usada con manchas de lápiz labial. KMS: Thank You to the staff that makes the breakfast in the morning, excellent! Nice and clean hotel with a relaxing pool and spa. Would stay here again just for the breakfast alone.
