Linda Perrella: We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at The Guest House. Our room was incredibly comfortable, from the platform bed and linen sheets, to the rain attachment in the shower, to all of the other little thoughtful touches throughout the house and kitchen. It was too hot at the time or we’d have definitely spent time in the sweet backyard area. If you stay here, be sure to visit Benchwarmers Bagels, just a 3-minute walk away in the Transfer Food Hall (there were plenty of other yummy food places there that weren’t open at the time!). If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll be staying at The Guest House! Thanks for everything:)

Laurie O'Brien: What a beautiful boutique hotel. While the hotel is clean and simple, the attention to detail is incredible providing a luxurious experience. There was thought into every thing the hotel offered. To the flow of the space, the decor, the lighting, the bedding, the products, everything was done with intention. We had an incredible stay and loved the turnkey approach. It was clean, well stocked and a pure delight to stay there. Highly recommend to anyone coming through Raleigh or even a staycation for those who live there!Thank you for a memorable stay.

The details of the space are impressive and we were welcomed with a thoughtful card.As two people who are from this area we love to see a local business doing so well and hope that it continues to thrive. Shayna Murphy: Can’t say enough good things about our stay here. We did a short staycation from Durham for our anniversary. The room was immaculate, almost wanted to cancel our plans to stay in. We were within a few blocks of our favorite restaurant and it was so easy to walk over and enjoy the great food in downtown. Amenities were great and although we didn’t need much, with how communicative the team was I’m sure we would have been well taken care of if anything came up. We will absolutely be back!

Ron Ruffner: What a wonderful place to stay in Raleigh. The only problem...we only stayed one night. We will definitely stay again. The house is well-appointed and comfortable. We loved the place!!! Of note, if you buy the little ghosts (we bought 2), which are awesome, pack them in your checked luggage. Airport security didn't like them, LOL. Great place, look no further for a place to stay in Raleigh.
Richard Lamb: Helpful, generous and knowledgeable staff. Great location for walking to the visitor center, downtown library, art gallery and many restaurants. Great fireworks show for New Years. Less than two minute walk to a food court with live weekend music at the Transfer Company. I even took an art lesson from artist Barb Cherry at Art Space, an art gallery five minutes from The Guest House.
Zakary Hartford: My wife and I stayed here for the weekend and absolutely loved it. The space is beautiful. It is evident that a lot of care and thought went into the design, appliances, and furniture in the beautiful space. The bed was really comfy and the whole place was spotless. They provide yogurt, fruit, and granola for breakfast and there are drinks and snacks available for purchase. The location is perfect and there are a ton of great coffee shops, restaurants, and attractions within walking distance. We will definitely be staying here next time we come to Raleigh, we loved it!

Bartoldus Family: Room and location were excellent. Disappointed that as a bonvoy member they did not offer any amenities. At a typical Marriott with status, you would have access to a lounge or a credit for breakfast, but not at this hotel. At this location, they had a small coffee bar at the front desk, but they charge you for the coffee. Cannot remember the last time I paid for regular coffee at a hotel (unless it was a Starbucks). They also did not offer the standard welcome gift for bonvoy members.

Diane Snyder: My only complaint is that each time, upon entering the room there was a chemically smell. The refrigerator was clean and cold. It even had a working freezer which I made use of. Even when I moved the comfort chair, I found no left behind surprises. I felt comfortable spending two nights there. Well done cleaning crew.

anthony devito: If you are looking for a peaceful night of sleep to recharge, this is NOT the place. Do not stay here! I made the mistake of booking for my wife without looking at reviews first. She complained that it was a "creepy" place, with people in the next room fighting and being drunk (it was a Tuesday night), and doors slamming all hours of the night.
Tom Huxley: While room was clean and quite satisfactory, it falsely advertises room amenities (no coffee maker, etc) and went to breakfast at 0710 and the room was dark and not even coffee available. No one at desk to ask. Recommend not staying. Disappointment for a BW.

Terica West: I would have given it at 5 star but housekeeping did an extremely poor job of floor cleaning. I loved that the room was luxury tiled vinyl. It is evidently either they didn't sweep or just did an extremely poor job. Hair was still on the floor in the bed area and bathroom. The hallway floor was noticeably not vacuumed.

Which was baffling to me, as this wasn't my experience the prior night stay. I WILL BE RESPECTFUL TO THE MANAGER, AND NOT POST THE NAME'S I HAVE... As it's not my aim to blast anyone, but maybe GIVE LESSONS IN PROTOCOLS OF PROFESSIONALISM! KNOCKING ON THE DOOR FROM HOUSEKEEPING BEFORE CHECK OUT TIME IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! Tina Tina: Kierra, Ms.Cerise, and Ms.Sarah hands down when it comes to business. Any time I had a problem with my room they fixed the issue. Maintenance came first thing in the morning to fix the problem. Housekeeping is 100% they made sure that I had everything I needed. I’m a pet owner and they welcomed my babies with open arms.
