william bruce: Pullen Park has always been a beautiful place to spend some time. The staff are nice and willing to help. With the amount of people and kids, this place is always surprisingly clean. Great place to take your family or just go for a peaceful day to yourself.
Chanchal: A fun park for all ages. Rode the train which runs along the park boundary, it was a short lovely ride. This beautiful park has a lake with fountain and boat riding activity, walking paths, bridges, playing areas, kids activities, carousel, shelters, benches, kiddies boat ride etc. Well maintained restrooms. Parking available but may gets busy on weekends. It has no entry fee but activities are chargeable.Área de juegos: Nice clean play areas for all ages. Los fines de semana están un poco ocupados, por lo que si tiene niños muy pequeños, es posible que desee venir durante la semana. Los socorristas son fantásticos y realmente cuidan a todos y cada uno de los niños. El chaleco salvavidas para niños se proporciona de forma gratuita si no tiene uno o si lo olvidó. La piscina en realidad está climatizada, pero no demasiado caliente. Cada vez que vine podía entrar, así que fue agradable porque no soy fanático del agua fría. La última piscina de hidromasaje del río es una excelente adición para que los niños vean qué hacer. también hay una sección en la piscina con un banco y tiene unos pequeños, úselo para saltar al agua. Every little while all the water shuts off dor about a minute so attendqnts can do a quick scan to make sure all are safe and no one has been injured.Residents with a pass are free.There is a $2 fee per person for non-residents for an all day admission. One parent will be admitted without charge per child.Children under the age of 2 are free of charge.Plenty of parking, an additional playgroud, covered picnic benches for lunches and bathrooms.

Layla Coleman: The zombie game was awesome, loved the arcade area..felt like when I was a kid in the 90’s all over again! We also did the GoCarts, Bumper Boats, Bumper Cars, and Laser Tag. The black lady working at the Laser Tag was kinda rude but the rest of the staff was really nice! The drinks and food are good too. There were a ton of ppl there but we still had a lot of fun! Great place to take the kids or hanging out with friends (no matter your age!) Wish they had a few more rides similar to the ones at the state fair. But all in all, would highly recommend!! Can’t wait to go back!

Jeannette Moore: Lake Johnson is a perfect one-hour walk if you do the paved loop. Beautiful scenery, plenty of wildlife, and just enough hills. The un-paved trail on the other side of Avent Ferry is also very enjoyable. I have enjoyed kayakjng here twice. It is common to see Oru folding kayaks on these calm waters.

Nick DeMarco: Lake Johnson is a beautiful park with features for pretty much everybody. We walk the dog around the 'rough' unpaved trail quite often, and I like to run that trail, too. It's big enough to not be crowded, even when the parking lot is full.Parking tip: Park past the Thomas G. Crowder Woodlands Center off Jaguar Park Drive and never fight for parking!
Melissa Hinton: Perfect paved 2.7 mile walk, almost completely shaded. Yes, there are hills but they're very doable. Can't believe I didn't know about it sooner!!Restroom was clean and cool - staff we met there was friendly and helpful period was able to take my own stand up paddle board out after the hike and had a great time!

Ajimon Thomas: There is something for everyone - you can have a picnic, kayak, fish, paddle board, bike, walk/run. Swimming is not allowed though. The lake trail is a little over 3 miles. Definitely a great place to be outside in Raleigh. The parking lot does get full during weekends, which is something to worry about. We loved the rocking chairs in the shade near the front office. You can sit there for hours and take in the lake views.

Kristi W: While we love Jack Smith, it's best to visit in the morning or evening because there is very little shade for kids to play in. There's a great open area to bring a kickball, kite, or frisby.
Pauline Ohanian: Beautiful park. So well designed and cute (sheep sculptures). The splash pad was so much fun. Also saw free wifi sign from town of Cary at the park. Very well thought of.
Anna Ran: It is a wonderful dog park. Lots of room for dogs to run and play. Several benches and 1 covered picnic table. Clean and running water. The one less star is because when it rains it keeps the ground wet for days and my dog comes home filthy. My suggestion is to find a different ground material that doesn't hold moisture.

Turner-Marie Johnson: I brought my 6 year old and 4 year old here for the first time and they loved it. The splash pad is big enough for lots of kids to play and there is plenty of shade for the parents. The playground is lots of fun by itself, even if you don't do the splash pad. If your child loves climbing, this is a great playground. There's lots of climbing equipment and even a rock wall for bouldering. The ground is the squishy kind so kids won't get hurt.
