The ice cream is incredible, the teas are so good (the Thanos is delicious), and the staff are always kind. Service can feel slow at times, but it's usually because they are busy (trust me it's worth the wait). This place deserves all the success and praise it's getting, and it's the only place I go for ice cream and boba now in Raleigh. Y'all are crushing it!

Mike Rogers: Chocolate Meringue pie, my favorite pie, is a part of my childhood, eating it at family reunions, made by true southern cooks. But, since then, finding the "real thing" has been difficult. So, when hearing about Slice of Pie on a local TV program, how the business was started by a minister and his daughter, and that the pies were the highest of quality, made in the southern tradition, my heart raced. I went online and ordered one of their pies for my approaching birthday.This is the part where I wish I could write that my birthday Chocolate Meringue Pie from Slice of Pie was a memory realized and then the owner would respond with a gracious thank you. My regrets, but I can't. On cutting, the chocolate filling ran everywhere like it was a pudding and, on tasting, the crust was tasteless, hard and crunchy. I mean, the pie was fine, but not great. After a drive from Durham to Raleigh and over $60 later, I was disappointed.Meanwhile, 30 minutes after writing the above review....After writing the above review, "The Pie Lady" reached out to me, was very upset by my reaction, and though I asked her not to, insisted on refunding me. Wow. Even though I wish she had not taken it so personally, I am blown away by a business person who cares so much about her product. So impressive This is the kind of local business that should be supported!! Thank you, "Pie Lady"!

I've had pies from Slice for a couple years and always loved them. They are rich in flavor, and you can tell they are thoughtfully made. They beat the heck out of any store bought pie!!Well, I ordered several for our Christmas celebration and as gifts for some friends. One of the pies was not of the quality that I had come to expect from Slice, so I emailed the company and told them. Kristen - The Pie Lady ;-) - contacted me and she went out of her way to make my experience right. Kristen doesn't want you to like her pies, she works hard so that you'll love them!!I do! And now that I've written this small review, with all this talk about pie, I want some!! I hope you enjoy your Slice pie as much as I'm about to!! Ciao!!
Talyah R: Best key lime pie I have ever had. And I'm not usually a huge fan of key lime pie but they made it the way it SHOULD be made. And I'm also not usually the biggest fan of pie crust but I LOVED theirs. Its perfect.The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I'd just like it better if they had a bigger and more diverse selection of single slices in the store. When I went, it seemed like almost all the slices were chocolate in some way. And I was really wanting something more fruity, which is why I went with key lime pie even though it's not what I'd usually go to. That being said, again it was the best pie I've had so my only criticism summed up is that they should have more pies! Lol.

The prices are insane and the chocolate chess pie was very disappointing. My mom bought the apple pie too. Again it was ok. Definitely not worth $50. I’ll stick with Ukrops chocolate chess pie for $8. It’s so good. The pies I would give 2-3 stars. The prices I give 0 stars. Just my opinion tho. Try it for yourself.

Emily Arters: We go often to the location at the farmers market. We've brought visiting friends and family members with us and purchased a dozen to bring to others. They never dissapoints. The price is outrageously cheap for the quality. The molasses crinkle cookies are our families favorite. They taste like home and warm blankets and steaming mugs of hot chocolate and snuggles and comfort and love. Cannot say enough good things about this wonderful place. Positive side was the shop was nice and the employee was kind, apologetic, the cookies looked HUGE, and the employee recommended going to the farmers market where they have more cookies. Unfortunately I left empty handed. I’ll prob go back if I just want one or two cookies.
