Jaclyn Hamilton: I love my Saks fifth avenue. However, Triangle is going under and changing their style to accommodate the unfortunate direction the mall is heading. I had several items in my arms, including a saks bag since I just bought a pair of shoes. I walked around to get service. Finally a lady was talking with another customer. I waited very patient to ask for a fitting room, which I waited till she was done speaking to other lady. The sales lady stated I'll be with you in a minute. Now I get that you are helping another customer, but all I needed was a dressing room. I felt she was focus on that one lady because she seem to spend more than I would be at the time. I just felt the lady was unaccommodating and a little judgmental. She didn't even check on me to see if everything was working out. Needless to say, I bought what worked and left.I will stick to the online shopping instead of going back to the store.

Some links needed to be removed. Unfortunately the links never made it to my bag and when I realized it was missing, 2 days have gone by. I called the store, spoke to Taylor and she told me the links were accidentally thrown away. Caleb, the store supervisor, said he'll take care of getting my links back somehow.I called back 2 weeks later to follow up, spoke to Emilia Ala-Mattinen and she said she had found my links! We coordinated a day for me to pick them up.

Dr. Scott Hewett: This isn’t a review of the products or the store as a whole, just the representative I dealt with for our return. A young guy told me that I had to have my return slip printed in order to do a return when the email states “if you don’t have access to a printer bring this email with you”. He read it and moved on. Then he wanted the physical card I made the purchase with. Told him I bought it online and didn’t use a physical card. Then he got snarky and said “well if you don’t have a card then how did you make the purchase then??”. Apple Pay? The numbers are stored online. Showed him my Apple Pay matched the receipt, he moved on. Then he wanted me to confirm my initial purchase receipt to match the return slip I had already brought. Sure here you go. He finally processed the return. I smiled and said thanks so much! He wouldn’t look at me and just mumbled “mmhmm”. Don’t know if he’s having a bad day or they are trained to not want to accept returns but the store should hold some customer service training.

Chelle Rosé: Attempted to sale clothes. They had my clothes sitting for 2 hours. Complete waste of time. Came back in to them taking nothing. They didn’t even look through my items. I had taken pictures of my items in the bag before dropping them off. When I picked my items back up they were in the same exact order that I dropped them off.

Lau Louis: This is the worst Plato’s Closet I’ve been to. The two days I kept trying to sell my clothes were awful. There was one girl who had a very bad attitude because I didn’t know that they won’t accept clothes in trash bags. The second time I tried another girl took my information and everything and told me nothing about them not taking anymore clothes just for me to drive all the way there again after work thinking I was going to receive money but instead I got all my clothes back because a different girl said they had no more space. I just did not enjoy either experience here and communication definitely needs improvement.
Mary Margaret Barber: I stopped in to sell some clothes as I purged my closet for the spring and the folx working behind the counter were awesome! They bought many of my items and told me to feel free to bring more stuff on the future. They also let me know that they carry up to a 6X in the store now! As a woman who is a 14/16, L/XL, I am glad to hear that Plato’s are becoming more size inclusive.

The last thing for me was worn once 150 dollar shoes they wanted to give me 14 dollars for so I honestly had a pretty bad experience overall.
Stephanie Smith: I feel bad having to give one star, but it’s necessary. I brought an IKEA bag in full of clothes and was told the wait would be around 2 1/2 hours which I agreed to. This location is about 40 minutes from my home so I had to find ways to occupy my time out and about while they went through my stuff. When I finally went to pick up, I was told they couldn’t take a single item…probably 80 pieces or so of clothing and they claimed none of it was any good. Upon arriving home, I realized that they only looked through the very top pieces of clothing, everything underneath the top layer was still neatly rolled in the bag in the same manner I had placed them. I CANNOT believe they had me wait around for 2 1/2 hours and they didn’t even bother to look at 75% of what I brought in. This is absolutely a slap in the face to customers who spend a lot of time gathering items to bring in. This is a very poor business practice and frankly downright rude to the customer.I later took the same items to Clothes Mentor where they bought around 25 items and gave a payout of $80, all within 25 minutes.
Robin Gibbs: As I was shopping with my daughter, I started looking at a few sets however I noticed that they were priced separately so I asked one of the salesperson about that and she stated that some people want to buy just the top or just the bottom which I totally understand however it is no longer a set once you price them separately, they become individuals. The tickets say set. I proceeded to ask another customer who was looking at the sets and asked her what did this ticket mean to her, the response was sold together. It is very misleading to the customers when the tag says set but priced separately. Mgmt or owner needs to probably change the tickets to reflect individual price. I will check the other Plato Closets to see if this is a common practice.

You’ll get turned away everytime.Initially I did not want to leave a review, but it’s absolutely ridiculous that I’ve come to this store numerous time over the last year to sell and I’ve been turned away because “they’re not accepting buys” or “we have to much inventory.” I’ve come at various times of the day; I’ve even shown up at 12:10 on a Sunday (they open at 12) and I’ve been told they are not accepting anymore buys and they wait time was up to 5hrs. Had the “manager” on duty not been so rude about the matter I would not have left a bad review. But it seems unreasonable to assume that customers should be penalized/waste their time as a result of this stores inefficient buy process.

leah: I went here with my mom to get two dresses for an upcoming wedding.When we arrived the gentleman in the store was polite.The problem began when we were trying to check out.One of the dresses didn’t have a price tag so we asked what the price was.He said he would have to call the owner…… he called three times and there was no answer. He wouldn't come up with a price for the dress so we told him we’d just get the one that did have the price tag.There was still a problem because he didn’t know how to work the register.After looking at the sign on the register we noticed the owner had her cashapp up for customers to purchase things but he was still confused.We finally left because it was very unprofessional……probably won’t be back.

Rachel Drommer: I have never been more impressed by a single associate in customer service than when I met Paige today, she I believe is the manager of this location that was on shift. Not only did she help 10 customers at a time; running the dressing room, remembering customers names, getting other sizes, checking prices, greeting customers but she did so with a smile on her face & was the sweetest employee. All the associates working today were helpful, kind, and patient. You don’t see that in relation that often anymore but this was impeccable. Paige, you rock and made my shopping experience fantastic! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me hope in retail customer service these days, keep being you.

Barbara Shull: Horrible Experience! I ordered a lot of gifts for my college girlfriends which I needed to ship out before Christmas. I ordered these gifts on November 19, 2020. Every time I would check the status of my order it would just say “Processing”. I tried to call but only got voicemail. I tried to live chat and never got a response. I finally found the email address to the corporate office and sent an email. I finally received a response today that told me that my items were not available and that I would be refunded. I am so upset that I was allowed to put these items in my cart and purchase them only to find out they were not available. Nothing was communicated to me. If I would not have found the corporate email address I would have never found this out. I have been a loyal customer with Altar’d State for many years. I will no longer ever shop there again or give them my business as I find this customer service horrible and totally unacceptable. Very disappointing as I do like their merchandise but not worth the horrible customer service and lack of communication. I choose to spend my money at other stores. I just hope that many other people don’t find them in this same situation waiting for Christmas gifts that will never arrive. I was then offered a $200 Gift Card

Ally was so attentive and kind, despite also helping multiple other customers at the same time. She made multiple helpful and thoughtful suggestions and picked out several tops and my new favorite pair of jeans that I never would have picked for myself, but ended up loving.
