Dependable T H: I've been doing there for the last eight years. They are very pleasant and helpful. If they I haven't been followed around the store. There are some people who go in there and steal, so please don't get upset when they do follow you be of the other bad apples.
Shaniece Johnson: I had a bad experience at this establishment with the owner or a (older male). I proceeded to leave the store and the alarm went off. I immediately stoped and voluntarily let him look in my bag. Of course nothing was found in my bag. He then started to yell at me and say don’t ever come back. In which I didn’t plan on ever returning anyway after being treated unfairly .. This happened a few months ago but I still wanted to inform the public of this incident!
London Simone: I went to this beauty supply store to get a wig. When I got to the wig section, the owner of the store began harassing me and a family member every five seconds. She would stand right next to us while we were looking at the wigs, which is ridiculous on so many different levels. When we politely told her we didn't need any help, she walked off and returned 2 minutes later, acting like she was fixing the wigs on the shelves but was staring at us the entire time. Because I felt my blood pressure rise from being upset, we decided to go in a polite manner. I will never buy anything from this store again!

I will not be going back here and I suggest y’all go to one of the best hair stores in Raleigh Lux beauty of capital blvd where they have great customer service and a whole lot more better quality wig choices .

I stopped these 2 black ladies coming in & asked them "do they follow u around too?" She said "Yes maam the korean own shops do. I thought it was bc I'm black". I said "na they followed us around too ". Disrespectful rude asian lady. I wonder if they would treat Asians like that if they shopped there. If you have cameras & alarms all in your store like this place does, WHY do you need to follow the customers around? It's rude. 👎

Sharon Berg: Family owned operation from what I can tell. The isles are marked relatively vaguely, but they are marked. The store tends to keep brand stuff together which is great, but each time I go in (once every few months) my shampoo is in a slightly different place in the hair care isles. Selection in store is really impressive.

All I wanted to do was exchange hair that I did not use or open; when I took i tried to take it back the very next day they claimed there is no return or exchange policy due to COVID. Then the store clerk had a nerve to say we have a sign posted that all sales are final. The sign posted was small and handwritten and placed around several other signs. Not to mention the clerk checking me out did not state this policy despite what the receipt says. BUT ON THE RECEIPT IT SAYS YOU CAN RETURN OR EXCHANGE MERCHANDISE WITHIN 14 DAYS! However, at Lux Beauty they have a return policy where you can return and exchange your merchandise with a receipt if I’m original packaging and untouched within 7 days. Carolina Beauty get your stuff together because that was ridiculous and you not only lost my business but you lost one of my friends whom recommended you!
Nadia: Customer service needs improvement. I came in with 2 friends today (10/06/20) ready to spend and we were not greeted or asked if we needed help. I instead ordered what I needed online because the woman in the back near the wigs didn’t really seem to care to help my friend. Large store but it isn’t welcoming unfortunately. Kandace Rice: So this is typically my Ulta Store, I frequent since moving to Raleigh. It’s very convenient for me and my salon which is literally 5 minutes away. However, after tonight, I will make a drive clear across town to get to an Ulta. I went into this location literally about 10 minutes ago and did a return on some brow products that I ended up not caring too much after trying it out. The young lady professing my return kindly asked me if I used any of the products and mostly was yes except one of the brow pomades. There were no further issues with return. It was processed as normal. I then asked about a specific brand of brow products and she escorted me to the area. As I was shopping and actually picked up a handful of brow stuff from that brand, I over hear the same lady loudly blurt “I clearly asked her did she use this” to her co-workers and I they must of have noticed I was still in store bc then they carried their voices lower telling her what she should’ve done, it’s too late but assume it has been used blah blah. I have worked retail many of years before and one thing I never cared too much for as an employee or employer is making absurd comments loudly about customers especially while they are still in the store. I instantly got annoyed and could’ve said something then but I simply put my items back and left to go to another Ulta! It’s literally the growth in me I am proud about.
