Penderlea Farms Live Oaks are chocked full of sprawling character, strength, and beauty. Our acorns are handpicked from some of the most famous and historic trees that can be found all over Wilmington including Airlie Gardens, Fort Fisher, and Wrightsville Beach.

We offer Live Oak trees in 3, 7, 15, 25, 45 & 65 gallon containers. We only use special containers that do not allow root girdling. For our small 3 and 7 gallons we use air pruning pots. Our larger pots are sprayed with copper that kills the root tips when it hits the container walls. These Live Oaks are typically 2-2.5 calipers in diameter and are 6-8 ft tall. The Live Oaks can weigh anywhere from 200-300 lbs.

We are happy to assist with delivery and installation if needed.

These containers air prune the roots as they grow, to keep them from girdling (aka wrapping around themselves). This increases the viability of the trees, and means we can safely keep trees in containers for longer.

We can deliver, or they can be picked up and self installed (depending on size).

Our Ball and Burlap trees are field-grown. When you're ready for them, we dig them -- and deliver them right to your desired location.
