Mei Ling Chau is the founder and owner of the HIRO Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar. Ms. Chau was born in Hong Kong and moved to Jacksonville, NC with her family when she was just a kid. Her father established a Chinese restaurant to support their large family. This is where she started to gain experience in the restaurant business, which would lead to her owning her own restaurant in the future.

Consistently the best Hibachi delivery in town. I usually go for Hibachi noodles with chicken & broccoli. It's hot and delicious every time. The lady on the phone is very short with words, but I've grown to love it. Quick easy ordering, and they always get it right. Update: Still good

This might be the best hibachi that I've had in Wilmington. The lunch special is so tasty and a great value. And I thought the staff were really nice too, very friendly people. I will definitely come back again!
