William A Volz (Billy): I will never call anyone else to take care of any painting I need done other than Nathan at Athena Painting service. I found them on Yelp and it was awesome. I filled out a request on Yelp at night and the next morning I was speaking with Nathan. After getting multiple estimates, which they were all in the same ballpark on price, I made the decision to go with APS. I made the decision because Nathan really listened to all my concerns and took his time doing the walkthrough. I had some trim work around our front porch that I was really worried about companies understanding what I wanted. Nathan totally understood what I needed and then found trim that’s guaranteed for 50 years. The repair was done perfectly, if not better than I hoped. Another thing was I only had about 14 days until we were having a graduation party at our house. They finished on time!!! Also when we were doing the final inspection, Nathan found more things to get corrected than myself or wife could find. That’s great customer service!!! You won’t regret choosing Athena and Nathan. Also his 3 man crew of Jose and Jan and Jose’s brother are incredible people as well. Extremely hard working and really care about what they’re doing and about your property. Kris Amann: Just finished having our exterior home painted by Athena Painting Services. The end result is stunning. It’s a “show-stopper” in the neighborhood. It took 2 weeks to complete the job. The first week was spent doing repairs. The outside of our home is still about half Masonite- a really junky paper type wood that was commonly used in 1995 when this home was built. So much deterioration as the years go by. The team had to remove the rotten wood type product and replace with Hardie Board siding. The work crew was careful and always seeking our approval. The client manager and owner stopped by often. Communication with the work crew was a little tricky at times, but the owner was always a text away if there were any questions. The second week was the painting week- we went from a light grey to a deep grey with white trim & black shutters. We also had new black gutters installed afterwards by Roof Werks (another great company). I would use Athena Painting Services again in a heartbeat. There bid was the most complete and accurate bid I’ve ever seen- photos included. Communication with managers/owner was amazing. Yard was always cleaned up every night and no one left any garbage around. I never saw anyone smoke or leave cigarette butts around. They took a quick break around noon- probably to get more water, eat, and use the bathroom. Really, it was not an issue at all having them here. We had 3 bids. It was the highest bid by a little bit, but also the most complete. I am certain things would have changed with the other companies as the repairs were definitely more extensive than anyone could have seen. But even saying they were most expensive, they were beyond fair, completely honest and the final outcome was totally to our complete satisfaction. And now we have a 2 year warranty. Best place for a Husband-n-Wife date night experience. After having sushi in Cary, my husband and I went to the art studio and had a wonderful time creating our holiday paintings. We had a red wine tasting; BYOB on this night. We laughed, learned, giggled, and had just a fantastic and memorable time. Claire was absolutely adorable and was so patient with us. We are definitely going back with a larger group, but this time there will be more wine.
Our weekly coffee meetup had plans to go elsewhere last Thursday to paint but unfortunately they canceled last minute. Kathy & her daughter Lauren fit us all in no questions asked. We all had such a wonderful & relaxing time. Lots of laughs, Lauren made painting so much fun & easy to do. I would certainly do it again!
We had a bridal shower party and wanted to say we had a wonderful time. Our instructor was patient and very nice. Thanks for a great time.
We've been coming to Cheers N Paint for more than 6 months now and LOVE coming every week for the little splatters lessons! My daughter can't wait each week to see what she's painting and we have some amazing art on display at our house that she's created. Ms. Lauren is so positive and helpful to all the students to learn new paint skills but also to follow their own creativity.
We are new to the area and had the pleasure of visiting on Valentines night. We have done several of these type events in the past. The instructor here was amazing. She genuinely encouraged every single individual on their own level, and offered guidance tailored to everyone's personal needs. There was not one moment of rushed participation. She was fun, enthusiastic, and truly invested in ensuring each participant enjoyed their experience. I cannot wait to return! Thank you for a wonderful evening, Cheers N Paint!!

Lauren was a great teacher and super patient with all of us. She was also super helpful. We spent about 2.5 hours there and left with our new paintings. I would definitely recommend!

Courtney: This was a cute and well set up place. However, my partner and I went last night for a couples painting and the paintings were not aligned properly when drawn. It was a painting of a couple embracing under an umbrella in the rain. And the right said of the combined painting was much higher than the left side. They did not align properly. The drawing itself was so poorly drawn that the left side person didn’t look normal. My partner and I changed the painting so it could look a little more even, but that should have been done with the original drawing. We paid for this service and the one job of having the painting being drawn properly was not done. We will not be going back here.

Bring your food/wine/beer and get ready for an awesome time. This was my first time doing a painting and it came out really good. The teacher does a great job going at your pace and giving you tips along the way.
Kim Hank: During this time of the world, this was the perfect place to go. I took some 4th graders here to celebrate my son's birthday and the owners are wonderful! Patience for one with a group of boys at this age. Very responsive to every text. They practiced social distancing and did temperature checks; I think these measures made the parents feel comfortable with sending their kiddos. So thank you!

The teacher wore a mask the whole time but was amazingly personable and fun to work with. The whole place was super clean and made all the participants feel comfy even with their own food and drink.We did a simple picture of flowers with a gradient background that left a lot of creative freedom for everyone.
