Kristen: Great variety, good quality. Clean and organized store. We were from out of town and asked the employee for help finding something specific. He was genuinely friendly and tried his best to help although they did not have the specific item we were looking for. (Not surprising because the item was more of a gas station stock.)

Stellan De Santis: We worked with Nikki and the other staff at the Waverly Place location to plan a surprise birthday party for our grandma on 6/19/22. Not only did Nikki help us pick out fantastic wines, she also went above and beyond to help us set up for the event with getting snacks, decor and flowers for the table. We had such a great time in their private event room which was really affordable. We ended up picking 6 wines and doing a blind tasting where we had our family guess where the wine was from and the price. It was really fun and interactive. We will certainly be visiting again soon :) Thank you to everyone who made our grandma's birthday so special!

It's much more personal.You can always find some of the higher end wines and they have a nice selection from around the world. Anything that they don't happen to have on hand, they're happy to get for you, if it's in distribution.You may pay a few extra bucks... it's not a discount house, but it's reasonable and they'll take excellent care of you.By the way, they added a little sitting area where you can have a drink on tap. It's nice for friends to sit down together, relax and schmooze.

Blair Tanner: Apex Fine Wine has changed its name to Apex Wine Solutions. This company has, by far, the widest selection of high quality to ultra-premium wines in the Triangle. Ordering is done online; wine can be obtained by arranged pickup or delivery. The store is co-owned by both wine buying experts and a master sommelier. I have been buying wines from one of the owners for over 10 years with nothing but delightful results. They are not snobby and both owners eagerly share their knowledge, advice and recommendations. I have never had a disappointing experience here. They are located on the second floor of the shops in McGregor Village. Call before going, as all in-store purchases and deliveries are by appointment. I forgot to mention: the prices are spectacular.

Zack went as far as to take ALL of the wine we provided the day prior, stored it properly (chilled the whites,) and made sure the bars were well stocked throughout the wedding. Zack and Eric also host tastings and event at the Mayton; we highly recommend this company for all of your wine needs.

Kayleigh Poss: We came in at 10pm knowing that the place closed at 12 but felt pushed to leave the entire time. Almost as soon as we came in the bartender was turning on all the lights, turning off the music, putting up chairs, and calling for last call while it was supposed to be open for over another full hour

They also now serve liquor, so no longer just a brewery.The vibe is weird- its like they want to make it a "chill" relaxed place (they have more high-end furniture and leather couches in a corner, then regular restaurant vibe tables in the front. The bar is beautiful and the backslash behind the taps are gorgeous, but it's doesn't line up with the rest of the look.Service: I'd say poor, and I've been a bartender so I'm not just some stuck up want it my way customer. There were four people behind the bar and three customers....it took nearly 15 minutes for one customer to get a drink and thats after they moved from one end of the bar to the other in hopes they'd get some service. You need to be quick and on your toes to be a good bartender. Out of the 4, one seemed to be on it.Food- wouldn't know. It was outside from a food truck and I didn't wanna wait in line. Maybe next time.Overall, it's not a place to bring any kids, since there is nothing for them to do or know where to play. If you don't have kids ans you want a feel like you're at a nice high end bar but also a college bar, then this is the place for you.If I rated just on the beer, I'd say a 4/5.

They offer live music, dog friendly, and affordable beer. The flights are 5oz pour prices, which most were $2 per. It was a mix of a speakeasy feel with an industrial style building.
