Sunrise of Cary: what do users think?
Ruth Salvesen: After the tour at the Sunrise of Cary, my husband who will be staying there sometimes in the near future, came back home so uplift. He had a great time, got to enjoy talking with a gentleman his age that the director hooked him up with. The facility is particularly more beautiful than other Sunrises, clean, people and residents, were lively, happy. I think with Diane, the director of sales, experience, she made our tour the most welcome and the friendliest person! We love to be back there as the time comes.
Stacey Dietrich: Had a very unpleasant experience with Sunrise of Cary. Moved our 77 year old mother who has dementia into their memory care facility. Mom had a very difficult time transitioning and declined rapidly. She lost 60 pounds in 4 months; was agitated and aggressive. The staff and administration never had a solution to help her other than to pay for one on one caregivers. We moved our mother to a new facility that is loving, caring, and willing to put the extra effort in to help all the residents. Mom has gained weight, hasn’t had one episode of aggression, and ia very involved with activities, and has been discharged from hospice care.
Heather Thole: I have worked at Sunrise of Cary for over 3 years and it has been one of my favorite buildings to work at (physical therapy through Legacy). It is a very welcoming, homey, and a work-family environment. I have really enjoyed the residents and facility staff here (in addition to my Legacy team). No building is perfect, but I highly recommend this facility.
Leland Decker: This place is dangerous for your loved one!! DO NOT MOVE ANYONE YOU CARE ABOUT TO THIS PLACE!! Prior to his passing we moved my 89 year old father, who was suffering from a stroke as well as Alzheimer’s to this location. The staff here do not watch the residents. My father was able to get out of the building not only once but twice!!! Their “fix” to their lack of ability was to have sitters sit with him to help keep an eye out for him at a rate of $25 per hour in addition to the over $10k per month for him to reside there. Aren’t you in the business to care for the elderly?? Isn’t your memory care unit supposed to create a SECURE and safe space for the residents???? THIS PLACE SHOULD CLOSE THEIR DOORS!! THEY ARE UNABLE TO CARE FOR THEIR RESIDENTS AND CHARGE AN EXORBITANT AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR WHICH THEY DELIVER NO SECURITY!!!I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY!!
Tricia Garrett: Mom often comments on Sunrise of Cary's beautiful, homelike atmosphere and how they're feeding her too well. She can choose some alone time or to participate in fun social or exercise activities. By supporting her with a gentle routine, the skilled memory care staff have made a huge difference in her ability to retain as much independence as possible.
Beatrix Park: Very rude customer service. whoever answered the phone needs to get retrained. hung up abruptly on me & was rushing to get off the phone
JENNIFER BARATTA: What a wonderful and homelike facility. The staff there genuinely love their job and it shows. They were wonderful with my mom, I cannot thank them enough.
Emilie S: I have complete peace of mind knowing my Father receives excellent care and attention on a daily basis. He frequently remarks at how happy he is with the food. I join him for meals from time to time and can verify the food is well prepared and pleasingly presented.
Sheri Norman: My dad is so loved by his family. He has impacted so many in his 88 years. Parkinson's and dementia have brought the need for around the clock care. He spent 5 months with a skilled nursing facility that could not keep up with his care or safety. We found Brighton Gardens of St Charles, IL and from the very first conversation we knew this was the place! Compassion, care, investment not only in my dad but his family. Peace of mind, compassion, care, and dignity. He deserves this and we are so grateful for the people and care. The memory care wing is so bright and spacious, clean and looks like someone's home rather than a long-term care facility. Dad was met with "Welcome Home" when he arrived and this was just what we all needed. Thank you Brighton Gardens of St Charles for everything! Angelica, Kelly and everyone, you have been an answer to prayer. God bless all of you!
Shauna Newby: Poorly organized & very unprofessional staff , ed and bosses ! If you are looking for a place that is going too hire you for a couple days then fire you over nothing here is the place to be ! Bosses will leave you on read and won’t respond to messages & Residents have complained about food and they aren’t changing to much .
Kaitlan Williams: Unorganized & poor interviewing skills
Ant Oj (Ton): If you're looking for loved ones to be abused. This is the place!
Kim Major: I’m very disappointed with the turn over. My mother has been here for years and Serenity was amazing. She really cared and loved mom and Jennifer the ED fired her! This place is going to continue to go down. The food is horrible management never wants to help Serenity was the only person that would help out and was informative. It’s very sad how they treat their team members. You will be missed Serenity you were amazing! Your a wonderful nurse Sunrise did not deserve you.
Heather Clausen: After hiring me as a full time RN (and I specified a 40 hour work week) I was told that management "made a boo-boo" and that I would have to cut my hours. As I am supporting my family I refused to do that. They gave me no training and then proceeded to write me up for anything they could think of. They have no policies and procedures to follow and lack any organization whatsoever. They made sure it was stressful and unpleasant for me so I told them I was looking (being nice and not just quitting). For that I got a phone call the next morning for the ED and the RCD told me I was fired and that I had to be escorted into the building. I just found out that they blocked my unemployment. I had a great relationship with the residents and the other staff members. I deeply regret giving Sunrise Cary one minute of my time; they don't deserve it. Virtually everyone there was unhappy and planning to quit.
graham swift: Found them helpful and caring
Kimberly Nesbitt: If you are looking for a Community for a loved one that gives you peace of mind that there will be quality care and compassion when you can't be there then I definitely recommend Sunrise of Cary! The entire staff is efficient in listening to feedback and helping to implement changes that need to be made or help resolve any concerns. We have been very pleased!
Kat T: Friendly staff, beautiful facility.
Janet Lively: Pleasant

Spring Arbor of Cary: what do users think?
Dr. Laurie Buob, MS, DC, FASA: It is not the best or the worst place. But found out they sold me on their activity program which was not provided. My mom loved The Glade at Glenaire and I had hoped SA would provide customer service. But SA did not. My mom got worse and worse. They are understaffed and some staff were more concerned about texting etc vs spending time with the clients. I found a home where there is only 6 people and 2 staff. I moved her out. I had asked for community fee back because they sold me a bag of goods they could not provide. If I knew this I would have never put her there. Such a racquet!
Carol Fritz: Short staffed in memory care :~(((.That really is a crime to have so many residents with dementia that need care and not have enough help. The health care attendants that are there are wonderful and do their best, but they are overworked and cannot take care of all their patients.
Beth Adams: I have had the pleasure of working with the awesome team at Spring Arbor of Cary for the past 8 months. How wonderful it is to find like minded individuals whose number one goal is to provide excellent care and service to their residents. Ashley Garner & I collaborate regularly to be sure both our clients at A Better Solution and her residents are receiving the perfect level of care & support. We've had home care clients of ours who eventually need more care and Ashley and Spring Arbor of Cary are always at the very top of my list for people & senior living communities they should visit and experience. Special thanks to Jennifer Earp, Shirley Mcneil, & Lisa Lynch for being Rock Star leaders when it comes to setting the bar high for care & service at Spring Arbor of Cary. I highly recommend this community for you & your loved ones.
Patty Reichmeider: Our loved one has been here for just a short time but our experience here was very positive. The staff has been very kind, supportive, and available. They have unending patience with the residents. Our loved one was a very picky eater at home but has eaten things here that she hasn't eaten in a decade! She has enjoyed the food, company, activities and staff. Thank you, Spring Arbor!
Sarah Frankland: We moved my neighbor into Spring Arbor after having a terrible fall, a month at the hospital, and 3 weeks of rehab. They have been beyond helpful for her and for us with all the logistics. John goes above and beyond to help us with things that we need for her. He has been absolutely amazing! The staff is all so friendly and helpful. They really take the time to get to know and interact with all of the residents. Our neighbor has been especially happy with the physical therapists here. They encourage her and make her feel good about her progress. Thanks to them she is able to walk almost without a walker. This place has been amazing for her! It is a bit expensive, but the cheapest that we were able to find in Cary.
Jeanette Cooper: Spring Arbor of Cary is a very caring Assisted Living community. The Staff and workers go out of their way to make the residents feel at home.
Sheila Littlefield: The staff have gone above and beyond expectations during this recent pandemic. The planning and work of everyone has kept the cases of Covid 19 to a minimum and there has not been spread among residents. Although there has been restrictions in visitation and outside trips, this has kept the residents safe. They have instituted a program of vaccination that is systematic and will insure that all staff and residents have received the vaccine.I know of other facilities that provide memory care and none of them have the weekly activities, ongoing care, and personalized services that Spring Arbor provides.
Kerry Hughes: We had to make one of the hardest decisions of our lives placing my father into a memory Care unit. Ultimately, it was the right decision for the place he was at with Alzheimer's. Spring Arbor assured us they were equipped to handle any situation. Please note, you really only speak with sales folks that have nothing to do with direct care. Spring arbor looks lovely and when we moved my father in, it had a wonderful director that was hands on and helped bridge gaps. Debbie Hart took over last June and it has been a nightmare since. Her direct quote "although spring arbor looks asthetically pleasing, we are not equipped to deal with many of our residents therapeutic needs of those individuals" it is so difficult to make this sort of decision for your loved one and I hope this review helps. Too often you don't truly know what the facility has to offer before you are moved in. Pay attention to the smells and how the residents look and are taken care of. Especially the male patients. Visit throughout the day. All the activities they list- I rarely ever saw any of those occuring. It is dark and quiet. Staff often sitting in chairs on their phones. My father hadn't been shaved in months after having care plan meeting after care plan meeting. And he is very functional and independentLook at the food as well and accomodations of all the residents. We just moved my father out of state to a facility I am so thrilled.with. We really didn't know how bad this situation was until we moved.him out. I hope this helps at least one other family. Best of luck on this hard endeveor. There is good care. Keep looking.
Alison Eyth: It's a beautiful building. My mother-in-law is very happy there. They take good care of the residents.

Phoenix Assisted Care LLC: what do users think?
Connie Wilson: The administrative staff is very difficult to communicate with. I left message after message trying to get an update on my mother when I was hospitalized out of state. But Erika would not return any of my calls. When I returned home and confronted her she had no valid excuse. I wouldn't advise anyone to place your love ones here. My mother was hospitalized twice within a month here but the staff said "there was nothing wrong with her". Hint: be wise and look somewhere else.
Aly C: No place could EVER be worse than Phoenix. I was able to get my mom out before she died. Do an online search with DHHS to see how many complaints and infractions they have racked up. Do not leave a loved one here ... you will regret it.
n ellis: When my mother law had to go into a facility the Phoenix was the place. She went in assistance care on July 13th, 2018. She wasn’t the easiest person without dimentia/Alzheimer’s. I would visit and we watched television and played bingo. She had friends. She slowly became more confused and became difficult. So she was moved into memory care Fall of 2019. Thought she would get better attention from staff. No, Donna who was hands on and wonderful during Betty’s stay at Assisted living was no longer available. We had to go through Crystal. Like pulling teeth. Betty clearly was to much for her and the staff. Betty needed stimulation like all of us but she has vascular dimentia. By 2020 Betty was clearly depressed and neglected. COVID helped Crystal hide what was going on. Very sad. She fell on Mother’s Day they put her in a wheelchair and she was done slowly gave up. Betty was afraid of water and shower’s. Took 4 staff and Betty obviously was scared or hurting so she bit a staff member. That was all it took, 30 day’s had to be gone. Crystal didn’t help, wouldn’t return phone call’s and the worst was Donna wouldn’t talk to me!!!!! Hiding something???? Once I found a new facility things were going well. The staff at Capital were helping me with anything I needed. Once everything was done they moved Betty and no one told us. Found out through email from Capital Nursing in Raleigh. Donna or Crystal not so much as a goodbye and thank you. They wanted Betty out, not us until we realized what was going on. Betty passed away 09-05-20 at Capital Nursing peaceful in her sleep. All I can say is be proactive in your loved ones life.
beth lippert: I initially placed my mother in Phoenix Assisted Care in October 2018 due to a broken right heel and her need to be non-weight bearing for 6-8 weeks. The facility was older, not fancy but clean and met my temporary needs. I also liked the fact that there were no hidden charges and that the monthly fee included medication administration, as much assistance as was needed for each resident, and laundry services if desired. I was told that residents could continue to stay there with hospice if the need occurred. I did have a few concerns during her first week of placement. However, when I spoke to Donna, the administrator, these concerns were quickly addressed. Much to my surprise, I decided that I wanted my Mom to become a permanent resident at Phoenix and she resides there today. The staff is caring, meals are balanced and the facility is clean. Since her placement, the shower rooms have been renovated and updated. They are currently renovating and upgrading all of the flooring in all of the common rooms and resident rooms. Unfortunately my mother's health has declined due to recent hospitalizations and infections. She kept telling me that "she wanted to go home "(meaning Phoenix). Mom is still in this assisted living facility with the aid of hospice and I feel blessed.
michana wiggins: KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON BECKY AND YOU WILL SEE WHY STATE KEEPS RUNNING IN AND OUT WHAT SHE DOES IS IN THE MORNING WHEN SHE GETS THERE IF A RESIDENT I'D SOAKED IN URINE SHE TAKES PICTURES AND SENDS THEM TO THEM SAME THING IF RESIDENTS HAS A BOWL MOVEMENT THINK I'M LYING ASK HER TO SCROLL DOWN ALL THE PICTURES IN HER PHONE & YOU SIT & WATCH. I WON'T HAPPEN!!!
Libby Perry: I live in a neighborhood off of Westhigh up the hill from this facility. Two days ago, I saw a very old woman who could just barely walk, pushing an empty wheelchair on my street. She looked very out of place wandering around, running into the curb with the wheelchair, and stumbling. I went and asked her if she needed any help. She told me her name is Delia and that she was trying to find her daughter's house. She told me she'd come from the Phoenix assisted care facility. I'm shocked she made it as far as she did. The thought of her having crossed steep, busy, winding Westhigh is terrifying. I called the Cary non emergency police and an officer came to help me get her back.If that had been my mother, I would be very unhappy that she was able to just walk (very slowly) out the front door without anyone noticing. Very unsafe.I've never been in the facility but I'd say this experience warrants a bad review.
Jessica Figueroa: My hats off to Chris the social worker at Phoenix, for doing an excellent job at communicating with the family members, preparing for my father’s arrival and for welcoming him into the facility. From the beginning, Chris has been thorough, very knowledgeable and super helpful. If the staff works as well as Chris, my father is in great hands!
Touya Zess: I worked here for 7 months, with the first 2 months being SEMI good. I got trained for 2 days then they threw me on the floor of am assignment I hadn't trained on and it was the hardest one. Employees are overworked and rarely get an off day unless you demand one. The administrator is always away on vacation and never available. The facility is always low on wipes and gloves, so be prepared to buy your own. The RCC for the assisted living side, nicole, is rude, unprofessional and does not talk to or interact with the residents. The old staff there bully the new, the older staff are lazy. Cynthia, the laundry lady is the only aged staff there with respect and a kind heart. She goes around and does everything job even if it's not hers. There are roaches in every place you look. The building is old and outdated. Moth balls on the floors in linen closets and resident closets. Broken beds that dont lift for proper body mechanics when taking care of residents. I could go on and on and on about how bad this place is. DO NOT SEND YOURE LOVED ONES HERE. THEY WILL BE NEGLECTED AND TREATED POORLY. I only stayed as long as i did because i bonded with a few of the residents and it hurt to have to leave my babies. Please dont go here. It's horrible. They die alone in this place. So unfair to these residents. Humans treated like animals.
Bernard Castellano: It is with utmost pleasure I write this review for a facility with the staff and an Administrator who are caring and compassionate towards your family member and your needs. The Administrator directed and guided us in making it a home for our Mother. Phoenix Assisted Care is clean, has good food and many activities for the residents. It is well managed and everyone is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Phoenix Assisted Care.Sincerely submitted; Fran and Bernard Castellano
Joe: PROS: CLEAN, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, CONCERNED & CARING MANAGEMENT! GOOD, & WELL BALANCED MEALS!CONS: AT LEAST 1 LAZY & UNCARING NIGHT STAFF FEMALE!
Jessica Lyle: Staff have been very rude and when calling as well.
Sharenia Branch: I was hired there and trained for 1/2 of a day and the Administrator wanted me to take an section to do not knowing the residents. The residents had roaches crawling in the bed with them and on the walls. I've been in healthcare for 24 years I've never seen a facility the way that one was it was so nasty the aministrator ghetto loud and unprofessional I wouldn't recommend anyone to work there or to place a loved one the place needs to be shut down the staff CNAs talk to the residence like they were people on the streets that place really need to have the health Department to come see that place it is inhumane I feel sorry for the residence that don't have a voice or family
Mari Custodio: Clean and caring personnel.
Gaston Williams: Outstanding care of residents. Apartments are kept clean and tidy. Respect shown for all no matter what their abilities or current life situations.
Sybil Lash: Terrible is the only word I can find for this so called assisted living! My friend is there for a few years now, she is very ill mentally and physically. No one is getting her to a doctor, she could walk just fine when she came to that place, now can hardly walk. No one being a her to an eye doctor. She can hardly read at all now. No one brings her to a dentist. Her teeth are totally rotten now.... and no one has ever cut her toe nails since she came to the place years ago! They are grown in and inches long. Shame on you people there.. this are humans not animals!
Allison S.: A friend of mine placed her father here over 18 months ago and she has been very pleased with the care he has received. He has declined some mentally and physically, but the staff continues to meet his needs. Donna, the manager, is very nice and answers any questions my friend may have about her father. Most importantly, her father loves being here.
Nadine Thompson: I am so happy and comforted knowing that my mom is at Phoenix. The facility is always clean and the staff is extremely professional and caring. Mom is in the Memory Care unit there where she is engaged, clean, fully dressed every day and happy. There are many activities planned for the residences. Donna (Mgr) has done a wonderful job in terms of the overall facility and staff, I am very grateful and would recommend Phoenix for anyone wanting a great elderly care residence.

Brookdale Cary: what do users think?
Madison Gunther: Not great place if your looking for an employer that is understanding when it comes to emergencies, don’t forget about the mold they have in many rooms on the ceiling but they insist it’s dirt , and the employees leave the residents unattended while they are eating which is a choking hazard as well as they allow residents to eat others food , meals are never served on time usually residents sit there and wait for an hour to hour and a half many of the girls that work they will swear at the residents they talk about the residents behind there backs it all around not a great facility I’ve definitely worked in much better places don’t let them sweat talk you looks can be deceiving this place is horrible and HR lady is a joke they should be shut down
Corrie Kennedy: Moved my mom out due to poor care. Staff changed on a monthly basis. She had severe bruising and a hematoma on both arms from a staff member. Gained 70 lbs from carbs and now suffers from back pain and high cholesterol. Personal items went missing. Poor communication from management. False advertising.
Constance Smith: The facility is beautiful to look at. The night staff is horribly LOUD.. I don't know how residents can rest with the loud talking and multiple conversations at night. I'm here for 12 hours it's hell.. You can hear the laughing and complaining of overworked staff members complaining about their daily tasks. Very unprofessional. This is a quality control issue among other things..
Heather Metour: Ray Stancil, Nigeria, Tammy, EVERYONE at Brookdale made my mom's entrance lovingly welcome! There are four beautiful courtyards and the interior is set up like an old Town.We LOVE it!
Erica Davis: Their nurses and nursing aides are rude and they do not provide the proper care and a lot of agency’s are in and out so they don’t never know anything about your love one. I will not recommend find somewhere else for your love one.
Bob Misenheimer: My sister ,Marcia, was recently placed at Brookdale in Cary. Since I live in Fort Lauderdale I had to go by other people’s recommendations. When I arrived this week I was overwhelmed at the attention and care she was receiving. I felt so relieved that all her needs were being met and she was so content. A special shout out to Lizzie,Keoachia and Nigeria for the outstanding job they are doing not only for my sister but the other residents. Her husband Bob and I are so grateful for your kindness.Sharon Scales
Rasheeda Etheredge: Nice facility. It is clean and well maintained. The staff members are kind and caring. They work hard and treat the residents with kindness and respect. I would definitely recommend.
Anita Mason: My mom has been at Brookdale Cary for over a year now. She receives excellent care and attention. Mom loves to garden in the beautiful patio area and enjoys the fitness and cooking classes. Brookdale brings in outside entertainment, such as piano and guitar players, which mom really loves. Mom is always trying to tell me how good the food is at Brookdale. The staff and caregivers are so kind and compassionate. Ray, Tammy, and several others always go above and beyond. It is an understatement to say it's difficult to watch someone you love go through the horrible disease of dementia. I am so grateful to have the wonderful people employed at Brookdale to help mom get the most out of this stage of her life with dignity. They have become like family to her and me.
Jeanne Russell: Brookdale Cary does a good job selling you on their facility but they are NOT good at actually providing the services they sell. I would NOT recommend it for any Alzheimer’s or dementia resident.
Maureen Reardon: Staff stretched thin, poor management from both nursing and admin. Better for those in the early stages of dementia, but not for those who are more advanced in disease or have mobility issues.

Brookdale MacArthur Park: what do users think?
G O: The quality of this place has gone downhill since Carmen Scott took over. She does not care about her employees, her only concern is getting as many new residents $$ as she possibly can while putting on a mirage for visitors and family members who quite frankly don't have a clue as to how this place operates. This place is understaffed, underpaid, and residents aren't getting the attention they should be. In addition, the location is not safe at all. There have been multiple car break ins (with police called) in the parking lot of the building and it's only a matter of time before someone actually breaks into the facilities.
David Bingham: I highly recommend Brookdale MacArthur Park to anyone looking for five star care with staff that are attentive, sensitive and knowledgable. I chose Brookdale because many of the key staff have been with them for five or more years which is more important to me than the size of their room or the number of activities they offer. The sales rep Casey was amazing and did everything she could to help us with this emotionally difficult decision by answering all of our questions quickly and with empathy. Most importantly, everything she told me ended up being true after we moved my parents into their new home. To make it even nicer they actually had a red carpet rolled out for us when we arrived. Nice touch.
Diane Doumas: My mom came to Brookdale MacArthur Park in December, 2021 after suffering a stroke. My entire family was so pleased with the care and attention my mom received during her short time there. I wanted to recognize the various staff and excellent leadership at that facility. Our first interaction with Casey Brown, Sales and Marketing, made a difficult transition with a physical transfer from Northern Virginia to NC feel seamless. Casey went out of her way to facilitate the actual transfer when there were issues with documentation, etc. My second interaction was with Carla Hayes who also went out of her way to help me with filing a claim for long term care insurance requiring detailed documentation. During her entire time at Brookdale, the front desk, especially Dawn was so kind and responsive anytime my sisters or I called. I am also very appreciative of the overall leadership demonstrated by the Executive Director, Carmen Scott. I was so impressed with the frequent and timely communication regarding Covid and ongoing activities in general. When my mom passed away in May 2022, several members of the staff, including a caregiver and the chef, stopped by to share their condolences which meant so much. Please share my thanks and appreciation with the entire Brookdale team.
Debbie C: My husband has lived at Brookdale for seven years. The staff has treated him and us like family. He is very well taken care of each day.
Kim Otten: Brookdale has taken great care of both of my parents for a number of years, and my mother lives there currently. The staff is caring and knows the residents very well, and they've done a great job keeping everything as safe and pleasant as possible even during the challenging months of the pandemic
Subas Dhakal: Staffs are very nice. I went there to notarize a document. They are very friendly and well mannered. I really recommend this place.
Jorjor “FreddyBoy” Well: A really nice assisted living facility
adam zimmermann: Nice green park with a playground. Be careful of low areas during after rain as it can get pretty wet.

Chatham Commons: what do users think?
Sonya Jones: I worked for this place for not that long. I didn’t like it while I was working there. I resigned shortly after a week or three days. If I could give them no stars I would. To me it does some like an assistant living facility. It some like a nursing home.
Tester Man: The motto for this place should be "not my job". A doctor's order was ordered to get a cane for my mother. For weeks, this went unfilled, as the claim from Chatham Commons was: "We faxed the order over 3 times, but the company that fills the order claims to not have received it". I called the company MYSELF and they claimed to never have had items like canes for purchase in the first place... OK, canes are cheap, so I bought one myself. Then, at a later time, I took half of my mother's clothes down to the laundry room to be cleaned since none of the staff could bother to do it, only to have them go missing. I asked staff on several occasions about the missing clothes - no one knew anything. The staff assured me the administrator would be notified. When I spoke to her, she claimed to be 100% ignorant of the situation. I had to conduct a room to room search for my mother's clothes, only to come up empty. No one lifted a finger to help me at all. I can only conclude that the staff decided they had enough of my demented mother's bad behavior and to get back at her, threw them out. I have no proof of this, but based on how I was treated by many of the staff, this is not an unreasonable conclusion. I will say, though -- one or two members of the staff were great, personable, and were helpful, but 90% of the staff and the administration are completely incompetent and uninterested in helping my mother out at all. This is the worst facility I have ever seen. DO NOT put your loved ones in here.
Chanda Stewart: I have never been more disappointed with the unprofessionalism I've received from this facility. The initial walk through went fine. When it was time for my mother to have an in-home assessment there was no call or no show. No one had the common curtesy to call me to reschedule. Thank God I learned early on how this facility operates.
Olga Santo Tomás Monroe: I have a good friend who is living in this facility and we are very thankful for the peaceful life that this environment provides. The staff is friendly, loving and attentive. My friend says that the food is great and the activities are mediocre. The staff follows procedure very carefully and watches over the residents with dedication.

Stoneridge Gracious Retirement Living: what do users think?
joan robertson: Friendly people and many activities. Managers live on site. Three meals a day are included. Bus service to stores, doctor appointments, and outings. I like living here!
Scottie Bullock: Currently working at Stoneridge Gracious Senior Living. Let me personally invite you and your loves out. Stoneridge is a fun and exciting place. Lots for activities, outings and fine dining.
Grace Finkle: Had an excellent tour, lunch, and view of some apartments for future reference. Shana did a wonderful job!
Lea Bussmann: Very at home 🏡 feeling. Very friendly staff with 3 meals a day downstairs in a very nice room. They also have some very nice amenities there as well.
Quill Wellington: The area is nice, and includes a lot of amenities, but be prepared to bring your own wifi with you, as they do not support public wifi over the entire building. The cell phone towers are acting a bit shaky currently, so also be prepared to lose phone coverage. The self-playing piano is nice though. There is also a billiards table on the second floor.
Lisa hayes: Visiting family... Beautiful place nice and clean
Adrian Neill: I love working here. everyone is do nice and it's such a nice atmosphere
Craig Furlough: Nice
Nichole Ewing: What a wonderful place ❤️ so happy my in-laws are living there!

Nancy Raby: Very nice place, everyone is super nice and clean facilities.
Pennie Clanton: Wow the place and staff are 👍

JOY EVANS: My mother has lived at Stoneridge for over a year, a month from its initial opening in July, 2016. The directors and staff are exceptionally dedicated to every aspect of the experience. Easily, I would give them a a five star rating. The building is new and lovely. It is bright, has wide hallways, and all hallways are decorated with lovely paintings. They serve 3 meals a day. I would give the quality of the meals between 3 to 4 stars. On some days, it would rate 5 stars. There is no swimming pool. However, the activities director is very good at offering a wide variety of activities, exercise experiences, day outings, and movies. Living arrangements are varied. My mother has grown to love the directors, staff, and residents.
Hunter Reese: Grandma is very happy with her decision to stay at Stone Ridge - and I've never had a bad visit there with her!
Jonathan Almblad: My parents moved in here and I spent the week at Christmas visiting and felt like I was on a cruise ship! Super staff wonderful facilities and great food!
Juanita Caroway: Building is beautiful but management is not nice unless they are getting what they one out of you
Ken Lester: Yes care love

The Retreat at Cary: what do users think?
Chris and Amy Cathey: Kudos to the owner who volunteered to help a stranger in a time of need putting kindness into action when I had an unanticipated flat tire. As a physical therapist I was excited to learn about the great care they are providing to our senior community.
Christopher Swift: Given the challenges and adversity of fighting dementia over a ten year period, I can think of no better place for my Mom as her condition advanced significantly over the past three years than at The Retreat at Cary. Tara Lowman and her staff make such an amazing environment for their residents. They truly care and it shows, they frequently touch base with family as any change is observed. It’s a great business which prioritizes its residents and their families. But it’s much more than a business. There is a genuine humanity and caring that shows not some of the time, not most of the time, but all the time! They love them! We were fortunate to find a place at the Retreat just over three years ago, it turned out to be the best move we could have made. We lost my Mom just a few weeks ago now but I am so grateful to Tara and her staff for making every day the best it could be for her and for us, we are truly grateful! Thanks to you all for the home that you provided to my Mom when she was truly in need of constant support and caring. You were always there! ❤️
Jeff Anderson: The Retreat at Cary caregivers and staff take care of our father as if he was their dad, the family care home environment has been and continues to be a blessing for dad and our family !!
LA Joanis: I discovered this family care home by accident and it turned out to be the biggest blessing for my Mother and our family. We had several horrible experiences at large facilities and another company that ran several family care homes. I can honestly say that the professionalism, the outstanding care and personal attention my Mother received made her feel so happy, safe and extended her life. If you have a loved one with dementia, or just aging related issues this is the place you need to explore. Your loved one will be taken care of like they were home with you. They have the personal touch.
Christa Hicks: An amazing family care home with top notch care and an amazingly homey feel!
