PG: Update: No longer offers loaded skins. Tried other items, none of which coerced additional visits. Oh well.——-5 stars: Haven't had stuffed potato skins since Covy started its donkey dust. Melissa Keyes: Great place to throw darts except for during dart league. Outdoor patio area to eat if and when they have enough good service. Patio is also used for smokers and vapors. Justin and Steve are awesome bartenders. They are very attentive and will actually socialize and talk to you. Dog friendly. one pool table .one shuffleboard. this is the place to come for lunch because it's usually dead and they do not have karaoke on Thursdays. FYI they have yet to change that on their website. Good place to come and watch sports at the bar that has multiple little TVs playing your favorite sport (if they have a subscription). Their drink specials are limited and are consistenty the same daily. The bartenders do not like to take Keno slip so this is not a place to come and chill and hang out if you want to play keno. And if you're not a regular.... May the force be with you 😜
Larry Arellano: Hands down the best pub in town. Friends and family held my retirement celebration here and they were so accommodating and amazing. Megan Adams: It was one of the worst bar experiences I've ever had. I went with my boyfriend to try this place out. We go in, and the fat bartender flirts with my boyfriend. Whatever. Then she throws my ID back at me on the bar. The disrespect. This person should not bartend or even work with people. I'm really sorry that you are so insecure you have to make me feel bad about myself. Go to the gym! Also, the manager did nothing when I called to explain what happened. He said, sorry. I work in a restaurant, and I'm a bartender. I would have offered a free meal or drink. Will never go back. Management says a lot about a place. They are the ones in charge, and they are the reason those bartends are allowed to treat people horribly. All I was there to do was spend money. Yet I had my night ruined because of some ugly bartender.

Cherish Waseleski: Currently sitting at another bar down the street as we walked into this establishment at 6:30 took seats at the bar, and were not greeted or asked for our drink orders. We were passed by the two bartenders several several times and watched as customers that arrived after us were actually being served drinks.We left after 30 minutes of sitting at the bar and not being approached (7pm).Have been here several times before with pleasant experiences and have seen it much busier than it was at the current time. We are 2 friendly girls and always tip well so unsure of why were we were ignored the way we were this evening.

Nemo: Big NO. One of the male bartenders is very rude and aggressive to customers he talks and behave in a nasty way, specially to people of another ethnicity. I would not recommend going here if you have a little bit of self-respect, things may go south if you lose your mind after couple of drinks. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mariss: After attending a local event at the Cary Theater my friend suggested we grab a late bite at Crosstown. They have a nice spacious patio area for dining so we decided to try eating outdoors. Service was prompt upon arrival. Our waiter suggested the birria tacos. He shared that the pub prides itself on " authentic flavorful tacos". My friend had grilled wings, pimento cheese balls and a salad. I had the fried green tomatoes, birria tacos by recommendation and a whiskey sour. Service was very slow outside. Our waiter had our food served to us but never came back to check on us until it was time to check out. I understand it's late night and staffing is limited. The food was very good with the exception of the fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes were under ripe and too hard to serve for this recipe.The pimento cheese balls were excellent. Two of my favorite North Carolina southern classics.The convenience of late night hours until 2am, and location is unmatched for this area and the food was good. I would definitely return.

Janine LeBlanc: Ordered two orders of fish and chips to go several days ago for lunch. The fish was tender and tasty, if a bit oily and the fries were just fine. Slaw was pretty mediocre. But there weren’t any napkins, utensils or ketchup included in the bag. I didn’t think to double check before walking out and didn’t want to have to schlep back once I realized that they were missing. Restaurant really needs to tighten up their take-out process.

Jessica Cottros: Food is good, server was nice. But we were informed by the server the owners wouldn’t allow us to order a grilled cheese because it is only on the kids menu!!! I get it, we aren’t kids, but we came here and also ordered lots of other food, we did not just want to pay less for food and order off of the kids menu. We just like grilled cheese! what adult doesn’t also like grilled cheese? So strange. The server informed us the owners are “very strict” about this and there was no way we could order one unless we got it to go. Just put a grilled cheese on the normal menu then!

Grant Booth: Service was abysmal. Took forever for water refills, they brought out the food at different times, and got my friends order completely wrong. The server took almost 10 minutes awkwardly standing in front of us trying to figure out how to split the bill and he didn't even do it correctly. Only silver lining was the drinks were good. Just go to Scratch down the street!

J W: Thought we’d try a new place. Came in at 8:00pm on a Thursday. Waited 5-7 minutes for a server to notice us. Got drinks and placed our order and after 35 minutes of waiting and getting no refills, we asked about the status of our food. We were told that unfortunately our order had never been put in. E C: Had dinner here last week, it's kind of non descript inside but no real complaints, the outdoor patio looks nice. I had the chicken and tomato rice, delicious, others had sandwiches. Tap beer is ICE COLD, they should sell that secret! Will be back.

Austin Ostrander: This is one of the hidden Gems in Cary Ive walked past this place quite a few times and it always catches my eye because the building is long and made of brick but really thin. Reg Thatch: This is an excellent place to get so very special cocktails. They do not serve food, however you can get food from surrounding restaurants delivered to you at Sidecar. It shares a courtyard with several other establishments. A very pleasant experience.

Scott Danielson: I’m all for supporting local businesses, but the service here was shocking and not in a good way. We had a group of 12… and saw a number of tables available. Easily would accommodate our group, even if we sat separately. And I kept being told they couldn’t help a 12 top by one of the managers/supervisors.I tried to ask why we were being turned away… when I could physically see multiple tables available. Not really sure what the issue was nor was I given any reason on why they could assist us? They were rude and annoyed that I was even asking…Crazy to think of so many small businesses around that are currently struggling for business… then you have businesses like this that are turning away business for no valid or rational reason.I will not be coming back and I’d highly suggest considering another option… which there’s plenty in the downtown Cary area.

Jeremy Powers: Not just one of the very best cocktail bars in Cary, hands down one of the best anywhere in the Triangle. Everything you want from a neighborhood bar, or a world class cocktail bar, both rolled into one. Jazz era vibe meets modern classy in a laid back, low key, comfortable space.
Tech Hub: Chic. Quality cocktails created with a significant amount of thought and executed to perfection. Icf only visited once but thoroughly enjoyed each cocktail that I tried.
SANGITA GUPTA: Date night was splendid. The drinks are so good, had a rice milk rum, tasty.
Robert Dunbar: This place is fine, but hard to find. Our GPS was no help. It's off a walkway between buildings on a strip mall. The signage is completely lacking. The only reason we found it was to just park nearby and ask folks where it was. It should be renamed Speakeasy.

Wallace E. Unger: Previously 5 star now down to 3. For years this place had a great place w/ a rockstar bartender Brook. Recent times I've been in there they've had other new/young bartenders so she may have moved on. You can't understand the importance of having a good bartender esp. with a local place like this. It's that familiar, cozy feel that keeps you coming back and with her gone, that seems to be gone as well. The new bartenders aren't terrible but just don't offer the same level of customer service and friendliness she offered. One of them seems more interested on what's going on her phone than she does on the bar. Granted it's a hard job as these bartenders also have to run food orders but still. But please ownership consider getting more experienced bartenders and paying whatever it takes to bring people who know the importance of treating each customer well.Still not a bad local place with lots of TVs and good bar food but for my football watching this fall even with this place being very close, I still think I'll go to their competitors. Hopefully at some point the better service comes back to where they aren't alienating long-term customers like myself. It went from being a great bar to just another bar. Sad.

Despite reasonable drink prices and a pleasant atmosphere, the 25-minute wait for boneless wings resulted in being served bone-in wings instead. I promptly informed the staff about the mistake and expressed our willingness to settle for the bone-in wings since we were hungry. However, they refused to honor the boneless wings price. It took an additional 20 minutes to receive the correct order. While the drinks and atmosphere were enjoyable, the frustration and lack of attention to detail left me disappointed. Improvement in handling mistakes and addressing customer concerns is needed.

It’s a dive bar for sure, with sticky floors, lovely regulars and kind staff. Try the Rochester style wings for a little tang!
