B & B's Country Garden Inn: what do users think?
David C. Allen: Used venue for a wedding service. It was perfect. Great people owning and working thereService: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Romantic, Great value …More
Joan Virgil: My husband and I held our 50th anniversary celebration at B & B’s Country Garden Inn last month, and we can’t speak highly enough about the Inn as both a beautiful event venue and as a charming place to stay. Beth (owner) and Linda and Tom (on-site managers) were amazing to work with, and their guidance and attention to detail ensured our dinner event for 20 guests was a great success. Several of our out of town guests stayed at the Inn and all raved about the venue, the delicious breakfast food, and most importantly the hospitality of the hosts. We highly recommend this Inn as an exceptional venue - it’s a true gem in our Apex community!
Barry Baggott: We stayed in the Rose Room. Very homey feel, but decor was a little dated. Breakfast of fresh fruit and homemade oat banana pancakes was delicious. It was a short stay, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor amenities (paddleboat, fire pit, etc)Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great view, Romantic, Quiet …More
Richard Hill: Beautiful setting, very nice place, staff was very friendly and helpful. They served our breakfast earlier than normal because we wanted to get an start, and were very cordial.Rooms: The room had a king size bed, comfortable chairs with plenty of room, tv. Internet, etc. Very nicely decorated and clean asa whistle.Walkability: Looked like several acres of land and several trees and a good sized pond to get some excercise walking around.Food & drinks: The food was hot excellent, well served and ready when we got downstairs. Coffee was great also.Noteworthy details: Scenery from the sun room where we had breakfast was lovely and you can watch the sunrise while you eat. It was beautiful. I only wish my wife had still been alive to enjoy it; she would have loved it!!
Candy Dietrick: My husband and I drove 4 hours from SC to attend the Reba concert, which unfortunately got cancelled. But we had already planned to stay a few nights for some downtime anyway. We decided to try out a bed and breakfast, for the first time. And this was definitely a wonderful experience. Linda was an awesome host! We feel like we've known her for years. Friendly, helpful and welcoming. And our room, which was The Rose Room, was very comfortable, clean and cozy. We highly recommend if you are in the area to give this sweet B&B a try!

Carol Gingold: We arrived on my husband's birthday, later than we had anticipated. Beth, the owner, was waiting patiently for us with the wine and cheese platter I had ordered, and her addition of 2 little birthday cupcakes. Beautiful property, delicious breakfasts, warm hospitality! We particularly loved paddle-boating around the lake. The innkeepers were away, so Beth took care of all our needs and gave great advice on where to go and what to see in the area. We stayed in the lovely Rose Room.
Tia Owens: Linda and Beth are amazing. Not only did these two wonderful ladies host my Bridal shower they also helped with my wedding reception at my partners house. Covid threw a curve ball to us and Linda with her husband were so sweet to help serve/Host the reception at my parents house. Not only was the food amazing for the shower but they also provided appetizers for the reception. Let me just say Linda and Beth are just so kind and make you and your party feel cared for and never rushed. They party with you and make sure you have everything you need.
Lowell “LJ” Smith: Nice people, comfortable and very very nice. Good breakfast!
Teresa Fox: Beautiful place to stay. The hospitality was great.
Brent White: Another gem in NC. It's right off the Triangle Expressway but the inn is quaint and the hospitality is hard to beat.
Kelly Nece: The wedding was truly beautiful and perfect. The folks here are very nice and accommodating. The perfect setting for my son and his bride. Cheers!
Elona Keegan: We celebrated my daughters bridalshower and Beth and Linda made usfeel so special. We were so blessed to come together and create a cherished memory.
robert s: Absolutely lovely place. My wife and I spent the night there and it was absolutely perfect. The host could not have been more perfect. They made us feel like family. Breakfast was absolutely to die for. We will be returning to this B & B for life. Our experience for our first time was beautiful. Thank you so much.
Christopher Lee: I was attempting a last minute staycation with the wife and was hoping for a B&B ended up landing on this place and was glad I did! Beth the owner was out of town but she helped get me in contact with the innkeepers and it just so happened that a room was available. The rooms were so quaint and well done. We stayed in the bluebonnet room which had a lovely claw foot tub which was definitely a great added bonus! The grounds were beautiful complete with a lovely pond with fountain, fire pit, swings, etc. There was even a little paddle boat setup for a morning ride. Tom did a great job prepping and lighting the fire pit and he and Linda both made sure we had an enjoyable stay. They provided a great recommendation for a restaurant in the area for dinner and we had a lovely breakfast that morning to boot. I would highly recommend this as a place to get away and take a break from life!!! Thank you!

The Mayton: what do users think?
Veronica Flynn: I hosted my baby shower at The Mayton on 7/1/23 and had such an amazing experience from start to finish. Amber, the Sales and Catering Manager, was incredibly responsive and helpful. She worked so closely with me on so many little details and helped me create an amazing event! My guests loved the food, service, and the Redbud Room where the event was held. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a space to host a shower, luncheon, or small birthday gathering.
Rosi Hanley: Went for lunch with a group. We asked for 7 separate checks and were told this was not possible, it was company policy, one check per party. But then we were told that someone would speak to the manager (or supervisor) and, then, it was suddenly possible to get separate checks. But not 7 separate checks; only 6 separate checks. Why?
T H: Very romantic, picturesque place. The building, the hallways, and grounds are beautiful. The front reeks staff and bartenders were friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 301 which was painted in an unsettling “purple” color ceiling to floor and not my taste but perhaps other rooms have more neutral colors. The furniture and decor were classic and timeless. No bathrobes in the rooms (even suites) or cappuccino available which is odd for a 4-Star stay. There is drip coffee available but we love our cappuccinos and usually have them when paying for four star accommodations.
Greta Loring: The Mayton Inn was a great place for our 3 night stay in Cary, NC. The staff was welcoming and the location couldn't have been better for exploring the area restaurants.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

The location is perfect- my group was able to walk to all the fun local bars and restaurants!! Raviv Shefet: My experience with the reservation of Milton was nothing but disturbing. I was treated rudely and aggressively by Ms. Whitehall. I had a discount code of 20% on standard rate which I booked in person with the total amount of $429, when I spoke to Ms Whithall she told me that the rate for those two days is $490. When I pointed out that the rate I was offered was not a 20% discount from the standard rate as it should have been $392, she began to scream at me and told me she does not have time to deal with me.This service is unacceptable, and I decided to cancel my reservation with the hotel.
Brittany Nosay: The Mayton is a lovely property. The rooms and hallways are spacious and classy. The rooms have high ceilings and natural lighting. The rooms feature a sound machine like switch that was awesome! We stayed for 4 nights mid-week and the hotel was modestly occupied. Great location, food, rooms and staff.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Tade Allen: My company recently hosted a conference at The Mayton and it was wonderful! The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, the room was clean, well appointed and very comfortable and the food was fabulous! The hotel is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants, which gave our attendees something to do with their free time. I would recommend The Mayton for business or pleasure!
John Iannone: Peck and Plume is a wonderful spot in the center of downtown Cary.

The Umstead Hotel and Spa: what do users think?
Annie Thompson: Our families recommended the Umstead as the top place to have your wedding…so we booked our wedding there. On the day of the wedding someone in our wedding party tested positive for Covid. We decided to cancel our wedding and quarantined ourselves and our guests. We even ordered room service and had them leave the food outside of the door to make sure others were safe. One week later the Umstead charged us for all the food for the wedding including charging for not just the ingredients but the cooked food. They also charged us for the wedding cake and my bouquets. We never saw any of these things. They didn’t even ask us about the items when we cancelled on the day of. We would have shared all the food and cake with our guests who were quarantined and travelled across the country for our wedding. When we mentioned that they should have told us about these things and that they were going to charge us, they said that they didn’t want to bug us after what happened. That was cop-out they could have told any of our wedding party about it and we would have been able to at least enjoy what we were being charged. They made an already traumatic experience way worse. This place has no heart and is strictly money driven. I do not recommend this hotel especially for your wedding.
Brian Joseph: First, let me start by saying I really like this place... The staff is top notch, and the service was impeccable. The grounds and rooms, as well as the amenities, are meticulously maintained. The food was awesome! Everything we tried was simply devine, and though everything on the various menus were pricey, it was all worth it due to the service and quality alone. The spa was truly relaxing, and the masseuses there and the support staff were great. That said, the ONLY thing preventing me from giving this 5 stars was the fact the road noise from I-40 was just horrible and non-stop due to it is literally right behind it, which made being on the lakeview balcony almost impossible, and enjoying the outside amenties relatively noisy. But again, everything else was really good, the concierge and the front office were awesome and we truly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely come back (I will just be inside more).
Jacob Yackenovich: Continues to be an absolute remarkable experience. The staff are pleasant and very attentive to guests and detail. Rooms are well appointed. Highly recommend the spa level suites, ground floor, high ceiling, patio seating outside.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Romantic, Quiet …More
C_R_E_A_M Dollar Dollar Bill Yall: I enjoyed the most delayed but relaxing birthday massage ever. Apparently Umstead spa had a renovation that made it impossible to find an open slot to book for my birthday 5/19. I settled for the next available day which took place today and the environment was so comforting. I didn’t get to experience the steam room, but the lounges were nice, the atmosphere, the whirlpool, the co-ed outdoor whirlpool was so nice. The bath & body products available for use while patronizing the establishment smell so good and feel nice on the skin. I booked the coastal massage 80 min with Chengwei, he provided a relaxing massage experience. I’ll have to return at a later date.Unika B. & Co.
Leigh Frazier: The Umstead is a beautiful hotel and spa. We spent the 4th of July there and had a great time. The service was impeccable. A special shout out to Hannah who did an amazing job at the pool! The food at Herons was fantastic.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet …More
Charles gehlken: We stay at this amazing place at least once a year! Beautiful and serene! We always have a wonderful time, and I am struggling with putting 4 stars for service as it is their own standard I am comparing it to. They are normally a level of perfection rarely matched by others. However, this last time was a bit under that standard. We ordered coffee with cream and sugar and got a dirty cup and no spoon. When they did housekeeping after the first night, they took my robe as it was lying on the bed anddidn'tt replace it. Simple easy things that they fixed rapidly, but mistakes we are not used to at this usually impeccable hotel! This, of course, will not discourage us from attending again, if not before, then definitely on our next anniversary!Rooms: Rooms are always clean and well presented. They always try to go the extra mile!Food & drinks: Their bar and lounge are leagues above most within their market. However, Herons restaurant is an absolute must! It is fine dining at its absolute finest! From the 7 course art tour that takes you on an optical journey that you can literally taste to a brunch that intices you with dishes such as crab cake eggs Benedict. Please, if you do nothing else, enjoy this little discussed and highly underrated (Forbes 5 star) delicatessen gem!
Noel Haroon: Friendly, helpful staff. We enjoy the trail, the artwork, the restaurant and amenities. Very comfortable.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Quiet …More
Erin Curley: Staff member that handles spa reservations is consistently rude. No semblance of client services or sales.Service: 1/5 …More
karin golden: I was gifted a massage at Umstead spa for Mother’s Day, and I felt like it was such a bad experience for over $200. When I first booked it my massage was 1:15 until 2:15 and they said I can arrive at 12:15 and stay until 3:15. I’ve been to spas all over the world and I’ve never had an end time so I thought that was strange but I just went with it. When I arrived, they said that my end time is 3 PM not 315. My massage started a few minutes late and the entire time all I was thinking was “how I’m going to shower, get ready, dry my hair by 3 PM.” Not relaxing at ALL. By the time I left the room and took the elevator back down to the locker room. I checked my phone and it was 2:25. Usually, I like to steam after massage but obviously there was no time for that. I got to check out right before 3 PM. But if I hadn’t, would they really come looking for me in the locker room and kick me out? I find this policy so strange. And I told them that and they got very rude about it.
kuenga kay: This review is long due. The spa itself is impressive, and the ambiance itself is laid back and relaxing. The property is beautiful, and I can see why people choose this place as a wedding venue. We also ate at the restaurant; the service and the food were exceptional. It’s in small portions but every bit as savory. The little complimentary juice they give you tastes so good!!! They have specific hours they remain open, so if you don’t have a reservation, call in and ask beforehand. I would definitely go in when I have more time so I can go around the property and really enjoy what they have to offer.
C S: As my first time experiencing the spa as I have waited a few years due to Covid and then closed for renovations, I was finally able to get an appointment and so excited to visit. I was beyond disappointed. The massage itself was underwhelming, the room was too bright even though I asked the therapist to have the room dark, which they did not accommodate and could not relax. I have received better massages at a generic massage chain then I did today. As this spa is rated in the top 10 spas to visit in NC they should hold therapists to a certain technique standard as an expectation. I will not be returning as the overall experience was not worth the wait or the money.
Mandi Russell: Great stuff but the price is way to expensiveRooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Brian C: Stayed at the hotel one night as part of a wedding. The wedding itself was great, but the Umstead is a hotel that I would not trust with my luggage. We were part of the wedding party so when we arrived, they told us to tag our luggage and leave it in a pick-up area so it could be taken up to our rooms. However, when we went up to our rooms after the wedding, our luggage wasn't there. We hoped that perhaps they would deliver them later, but they never did. Later that night, we found our luggage by coincidence just sitting in a meeting room completely unattended at almost midnight. Who knows what would have happened to our belongings if we never found it ourselves and they sat there all night? On top of all this one of my bags was missing! When I talked to the management about it, they said they'd look into the situation and get back to me. Weeks go by and no one ever contacts me. I then had to start bugging them to get a response. After over a month of me calling them several times to see if they found my bag, they finally tell me that they can't find it and have no idea why the bellhops delivered the bags to the wrong place, basically shrugging off the whole situation. The manager also told me that they cannot accept responsibility for the missing bag and cannot compensate me since "it was never in their care," despite me voicing that I felt like it was in their care since they were the ones who re-assured me that they would deliver my bags in the first place when I left them in the pick-up area.It is pretty shameful that a 5 star hotel can't even correctly deliver bags to a room. A seemingly simple task to most. And it is shocking the amount of irresponsibility and apathy I experienced from the staff when they misplace your luggage. Do better and please don't treat your future guests like how you've treated me and my friends.
Caroline Sherman: Obtaining a reservation at the Umstead Spa is proving to be impossible. The schedule is available only 2 months out and is fully booked. I’ve been told to email daily to determine when the next schedule will be available. Really?Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More
M A: Walk around their grounds and it’s absolutely gorgeous. Perhaps one day I may be able to stay there for a night and afford it 😃. Feels like it’s for the rich and famous only.

Sonesta ES Suites Raleigh Cary: what do users think?
Veronica Calvin: This residential hotel is a great place to stay for a short or extended time. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the facility is well kept, even with the constant traffic of guests (human and pets). Sonesta made my week-long stay in Cary a pleasure. This was my first time using this chain of hotels, and I look forward to using them again.Rooms: I like the layout of the bedroom and common area. Also, the rooms were clean. If an animal was previously in the room, I could not tell. (And believe me, I checked!)
Anthony Randall: It’s nice and clean. The bed is just a mattress on a wooden riser without boxsprings, It’s not comfortable.
mark portrick: Best extended suite brand. 2 bedroom unit felt like I was back in my condo. Clean and easy check in process.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Carissa Flowers: Pool is closed until health dept approves. Staff is very nice and I am a solo female traveler and feel 100% safe. Was woken by a dog barking 4 doors down but not a hotel issue. More of a owner issue. Very clean and love having a kitchen. Hotel doors lock at 10pm. Breakfast was okRooms: Very clean, spacious, beds comfortable didn't want to get out of it, kitchen has everything and no shortage of towels and sheets. Very accommodating.
Spencer B: This was my first stay at a Sonesta and I was very impressed. Natalie checked us in and she was so friendly and professional, there should be more people like her in this world. Anyway, the rooms were impeccably clean, the whole property was spotless. There was a fee for bringing a dog and I understand why, because they actually shampoo the carpet between guests with pets. I'm pretty sure most hotels don't do that. The housekeeping crew were all so nice and welcoming. Finally, the breakfast was a step above the rest, a nice surprise.

Laura Nelson: Angela and the front desk staff are amazing made my working birthday so special and even left a greeting card and treat in my room. Rooms are updated and clean with everything you need. Breakfast is convenient and you can eat in the lobby breakfast area or take it to your room. I definitely recommend this hotel!!!
Local Seafoodlover: Wonderful unexpected hotel! Had never stayed at a Sonesta before, but it was convenient for our visit to Cary, and one of few with a two-bedroom suite. Very spacious room and a full kitchen which we will take more advantage of next time. The fireplace was an excellent touch especially in the cool weather, and added really nice ambiance throughout the visit. Bed was comfortable enough, and bathroom had ample space. If I had one complaint, it would be the pillows were kind of limp. I like one with good support, but no problem bringing my own next time. Thank you for a nice visit, and we will be seeing you again!
Nancy Policastro: The girl at the front desk is very helpful, courteous and kind. The room was very clean and I liked the layout and design. Parking is $5.00 per day.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Kapil Patil: Very Clean and professionalRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Josh_Johnson: They seriously need to hire some people who know what they're doing because the people who were there when I stayed had no idea what was going on. I left my keys in my room when I went out and when I came back she told me that I wasn't staying in that room. They had canceled my keys and I had to get the manager to remake keys for me. I would never stay there again.Food & drinks: The breakfast that they advertise is a joke. Terrible!!!
Merlin Daniel: Good place to stay. But few minor things the management has to resolve

Vena Crichlow: This is by far THEE best bed and breakfast!!! I love the hospitality, decor, breakfast (and snacks) that were a part of my experience at Morehead Manor. The property is beautiful, the grounds are well maintained and the innkeepers are two of the kindest people I have ever met. I’ll definitely be back!!! Carla: I recently had the pleasure of hosting a wedding shower at Morehead Manor Bed and Breakfast, and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. From start to finish, Monica and Daniel Edwards, the Innkeepers, went above and beyond to ensure that our event was nothing short of extraordinary.First and foremost, their attention to detail was impeccable. Monica and Daniel meticulously helped me coordinated every aspect of the shower, from assisting with the set-up, establishing the perfect spot for our food truck and aiding us with locating the perfect chef and cupcake expert to ensuring that every guest felt welcomed and taken care of.The venue itself, nestled on Vickers Avenue in Durham, NC, is an absolute gem. The charming and elegant ambiance of Morehead Manor Bed and Breakfast provided the perfect backdrop for our special celebration. The beautifully maintained property, exuded a sense of tranquility and warmth that instantly captivated our guests. The highlight of the day was the outdoor event held on their stunning grounds. The warm, sunny, and breezy day in June made for an enchanting atmosphere. The lush gardens, blooming flowers, and gentle breeze created a magical setting that will be forever etched in our memories. It was a truly unforgettable experience. What truly sets Morehead Manor apart is the exceptional hospitality provided by Monica and Daniel. Their genuine care and attentiveness throughout the entire process made us feel like honored guests. They were responsive to our needs, accommodating every request with grace and professionalism. Their warmth and genuine passion for what they do are evident in every interaction. If you are searching for a venue that combines charm, elegance, and impeccable service, Morehead Manor Bed and Breakfast is the perfect choice. Carol Cate: We had a fantastic stay at this amazing place! The Edwards are delightful hosts who made our experience the best. The rooms, grounds and amenities were wonderful. Breakfasts were delicious with engaging host and guest conversations every time. We want to continue to stay at this inn with each visit to our kids and granddaughter in Durham. Thank you Monica and Daniel!
Elya Braden: My husband and I so enjoyed our stay at the Morehead Manor! Monica and Daniel are the essence of Southern hospitality. They easily accommodated our late check-in time, were available to greet us, help us with our bags, and provided us with suggestions of nearby restaurants for a late dinner. From the moment we drove up, we were enchanted with the grounds around the Manor – the Bocce ball court, the sculpture garden and the huge metalwork plaque: Be A Nice Human – a motto they have obviously taken to heart. The inside of the Manor was warm and elegant, with original, eye-grabbing art throughout, many comfortable places to hang out, and a lovely dining area. Our room (the Tiger Room) was unique and well-appointed, with a “just right” mattress and strong water pressure in the shower. And the breakfasts – heavenly! It was a good thing we only stayed 5 nights and did a lot of walking, because every breakfast was a delicious and abundant masterpiece. Plus, the morning conversations with Monica and Daniel and the other guests were fascinating and a perfect way to begin our days. Whenever we are in the Durham area again, Morehead Manor is where we will stay.
Terrance Baker: Morehead Manor feels like visiting your favorite aunt and uncle, all the way down to the fresh baked goods. A peaceful and relaxing B&B conveniently located. M.A. Bailey: Mother's Day weekend 2023 was my 2nd time staying at Morehead Manor. I plan to return whenever I visit Durham. Lovely decor & awesome breakfast! The best place to stay in Durham N.C. This picture posted here was taken during my 2018 trip. I was too busy eating & talking this go around, & I forgot to capture the culinary art I enjoyed as a meal this time. 😅 I'll be back!
Susan Long-Marin: A delightful location for a girls weekend. Beautiful, historic home, over a hundred years old, well preserved with many original features. Comfortable rooms, each with their own character, various sitting areas including a side porch and outside locations. Friendly innkeepers, delicious breakfasts and a location close to downtown. What more could one ask for? Take yourself to Durham and enjoy the hospitality and charm of Morehead Manor.
Pamela Mason: I hosted my sister's baby shower here a few years back and my apologies for not writing a review then but Monica was more than helpful. I live in Massachusetts and she was able to help me plan and execute this baby shower all the way from another state!! It was perfect she and her husband were the absolute best and she does really make you feel like family!!! I hope to connect with her soon and please support this family owned business!! Maura Snow: Business brings me and my spouse to Durham occasionally. I decided there had to be something more engaging than the basic chain hotel. So glad I discovered Morehead Manor. Daniel and Monica were so welcoming and helpful. Coffee and fabulous snacks are available 24/7. Morehead Manor is elegant and accommodating. Beautiful artwork is everywhere. So happy to have found this alternative accommodation for business travel.
Sarah F: My mom was visiting me for the weekend and we decided to stay at Morehead Manor. It was such a lovely staycation for me and vacation for my mom! Daniel and Monica are the perfect hosts who have kept the charm intact inside and outside of the house. Our room was so peaceful and quiet; it didn’t feel like we were in Durham. Everything felt easy and comfortable at the manor. The beds were cozy and the food was delicious! I can’t wait for both of my parents to visit soon, we will definitely stay at this gem!!
Barbara Spencer: Excellent customer service! The best bed and breakfast I’ve stayed at. I’ll be back for sure.
Kyle Flowers: We stayed at Morehead Manor and had an amazing experience at this Historical Black Family Owned Home. Monica and Daniel know the area and gave us great recommendations for places to check out. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Snacks, desserts, and drinks always available. Walking distance to great eateries, cafes, etc. Amazing house with a great history! If you are visiting Durham or the surrounding areas, make sure you stay at Morehead manor. You will not be disappointed! If we could give more the 5 stars we would! We will be back.
Denise Bennett: Morehead Manor is a beautiful, inviting home (B&B) in Durham,NC. The owners,, Monica and Daniel are superb host. We enjoyed great conversations with them and although we had attended college in the area years ago, our host helped to give us a renewed appreciation for the city of Durham. Breakfast was excellent and a “two” thumbs up for the delicious carrot cake (yum).A great place to stay, relax and enjoy. Highly recommend and hope to return again soon.

Briona Slater: My husband and I will never stay anywhere else while in Durham, NC again. Morehead Manor Bed and Breakfast was the best experience we have ever had in the hospitality industry. I had a medical procedure prior to arriving and my husband and I were greeted with kindness that nourished the soul. The house was beautiful, the room was so special, the atmosphere was quiet and true. Best of all the owners/Inn keepers were some of the most kind and wonderful people, that I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with. If I could give more then 5 stars I would.

They even turned in a mirror left in the room and it was mailed to me in Canada!!Now for the front desk staff - how we tested their patience! TownePlace Suites by Marriott Raleigh Cary/Weston Parkway: what do users think?
Mere Vette: Nice hotel. Rated a 4 star because the pool was not open due to technical reasons. The lobby needed to be swept it was food and crumbs all on the floor. Although the front desk agent did not acknowledge me while standing in line she was very friendly and held a conversation. I will stay here again. The rooms was spacious and clean. OF course you always should do your own cleaning.
Lynda Strange: Close to work and the staff are just amazing. They will go out of their way to help you!Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Shanequa Chesson: The receptionist was amazing and nice. The room was not very clean. It had an odor to it. The bathroom door would not close completely at all and the toilet kept running water. Had to basically fix the issue myself. The pool was closed. Was uncomfortable and did not feel very safe as a female to get there early in the evening and 2 men sitting in a work truck as if they was doing repairs or something, then to leave hours later come back and had to go outside late at night hours later to get my charger and they was still out there looking around etc. the bathroom tub was dirty and had hair in it.

Chiranjeevi D: Stinky room with poor quality of hotel service for the premium price they were charging. Appliances were atleast 20yrs old and broken. Breakfast was miserable,Rooms: Stinky with old carpet and very very old appliances
Jaysheel Movaliya: It was a wonderful stay at Townplace Suites in Cary, Raleigh. The overall ambiance was really good. The location is also good there are a lot of food options available nearby. The rooms look big and quite satisfactory. The kitchen was also good there are all necessary items there which you need to cook your food. The housekeeping is provided every other day. An iron rod was also available.Coming to breakfast they have complimentary breakfast in the morning.which is basically American breakfast. There are a lot of options available for breakfast and overall it was good to start your morning. The staff is also well behaved and ready to help you at every moment you need.Laundry is also available on a self payments basis. Basically a coin laundry system. They will provide the detergent and all which you need for laundry.Parking space is also huge so no need to worry about parking. Wifi service was also good.Overall good experience for good stay. I will recommend it to go for it if it offers a good price.
Randy Murphey: We stay here once a month for a day or two while visiting son in Cary...Very clean, quiet place with one of the best in-hotel free breakfasts I've ever come across.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Chanchal: We were there for two weeks. Things I like breakfast, behavior of the staff, kitchen and location of the hotel, has a walking trail near by. However, we had some issues in connecting to internet many times, and hotel desk was asking us to coordinate with internet provider. Though all the time they resolved the issues but after calling and waiting for minutes. Floor AC was not working properly, it was noisy. We had to change the room because of no hot water available in bath tub. It has gym, pool and paid laundry, plenty of parking space.

SUBHRADEEP PAUL: Nice experience
Muralidaran Kesavan: Stayed here for 14 days as part of my relocation to RTP area. House cleaning is horrible. Shabby job. They don't clean all rooms and inspite of requesting to clean next day, no one turned up. They don't clean room even twice a week and only once a week. My room hasn't been cleaned in last 8 days. I have stayed in many Marriott properties and not worthy of Marriott tag
KiKiDStarr: I'm being generous with the 2 stars. When I first arrived the woman that checked us in was so sweet. We had a nice conversation but then the stay went downhill. I booked online a 1 bedroom suite. They gave me a studio. So I went back downstairs to speak with the woman. She not so patiently explained to me that was all they had and that they were an older hotel in the chain and they didn't have 1 bedroom suites. But they still charged me for the 1 bedroom suite. The room was liveable but had a musky odor that they tried to hide with deodorizer. Then the TV didn't work but after talking to the woman at the front desk 3 times I wasn't about to go down for the 4th time. The greatest part of my stay was when they assigned someone else the room I was staying in and a strange man walked in. He was just as shocked as I was. Poor guy. Poor me and my kid. I think we all had heart attacks. Then I pulled out the sofa bed. That was fun. I had to really work for it. Had to move the whole sofa so the bed would open. Did not have furniture mover on my mini vacation bingo card. So, in conclusion, I'm pretty sure there are better places to stay in Cary. Not worth the price.
Ed Cooke: Really enjoyed our stay

Alina Piddubna: Very good hotel with great hospitality, nice spacious rooms, good internet, helpful and friendly personnel and great location. The only minus - limited breakfast options, which is in general ok for the 3-star place. Will choose this place again next time in Cary. There's a self-service laundry room for guests, which was of great value for me on the 3rd week of travel in North America.

Zachary Sanfilippo: Near the interstate so it was easy to get to. The staff was pleasant and professional, especially the front desk and cafe counter folks. The room and facilities were clean. While I was in the hot tub the pool engineer checked in to see if it was at a good temperature (it was). Nice gym, but the highlight for me had to be the breakfast in the morning. All the standard options were present and there were some fresh made things too that were delicious! There was a big pot of fluffy scrambled eggs, a sliced and fried maple sausage dish with peppers and a roasted potatoe option. Two thumbs up for this place!
Jean Antoniades: I was in Raleigh for my son’s graduation from NCSU, I chose this hotel due to the convenience in location of the university PNC center and dinner plans. Although it’s not a 5 star hotel, my experience was great! The front desk staff were very helpful in whatever crazy questions we were asking the rooms were very spacious, the cleaning staff was excellent, with all our needs comfortable beds, and great pillows, breakfast was above the basic breakfast of a lot of hotels hot breakfast as week as fresh fruit bagels etc… Aaron was especially helpful to all our needs! Good value for the money! I’ll stay again!Rooms: Very spacious, clean, comfortableNearby activities: PNC arena, NC State University, Dorton Arena, airport, central to all these

Greg L: Title: An Oasis of Comfort and Exceptional ServiceRating: ★★★★★If there were more than five stars to give, I'd gladly do so. I've just returned from an unforgettable vacation, which had a rocky start at a nearby hotel, Holiday Inn Express, where a faulty air-conditioning system nearly soured my entire trip. Fortunately, the incredible staff at Homewood Suites by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn turned things around in a way that was nothing short of miraculous.Upon our distressed arrival at Homewood Suites, Danee, the Assistant General Manager, welcomed us with a warmth and professionalism that was instantly comforting. She listened empathetically to our ordeal, demonstrating an extraordinary level of hospitality that instantly assuaged our frustrations. Danee swiftly coordinated a room for us - a cool and quiet sanctuary that was a stark contrast from our previous nightmare experience. At the front desk, Sherry was an absolute gem. Her friendly demeanor and efficiency in handling our check-in were impressive. Despite our last-minute arrival, she made sure our accommodation was perfect and even followed up to confirm we were comfortable. It's clear that Sherry genuinely cares for the guests, turning an ordinary stay into an unforgettable experience. Our visit to the Hilton Garden Inn was equally delightful, all thanks to Liz. Her professionalism and dedication to guest satisfaction are unparalleled. She went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, offering local dining suggestions and ensuring our stay was comfortable in every possible way.To Danee, Sherry, and Liz - you are true ambassadors of hospitality and a testament to what the Hilton brand represents. Your exceptional service didn't just save our vacation - it transformed it into an experience we'll fondly remember and share with others. You've won loyal customers in us, and we look forward to our return. To anyone considering a stay in the area, look no further than Homewood Suites by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn. Their outstanding staff and the comfort they provide are unrivaled. They've set the bar high for hospitality, proving that even in unexpected circumstances, a dedicated team can turn things around. A full five stars is a modest rating for such an exceptional experience.
