Remy San Luis: A great facility, with all that you need to get your work out on! A lot of machines and weights. A lot of different group fitness classes!Zumba with Aya is a great cardio class for everyone!
Rachel: I came to the gym & was offered 3 free sessions. After the first session I decided not to return. Upon arrival the instructor didn’t greet me nor did I feel welcome during the entire session. The instructor never came to introduce herself even after the session was over. Not recommend!

herding cats: Excel is the first gym I've ever been to and I was incredibly nervous the first time I went. I signed up to have a personal trainer as well as regular membership. From the moment I walked in everyone was friendly and welcoming. The owners, the trainers and the other clients. My trainer (Thea) is amazing. Professional and understanding of limitations. Pushes me just enough and works with me on things I can't do quite yet. The owners are fantastic, friendly and encouraging. The facility is nice. Plenty of options and always tidy and clean. Would definitely recommend checking it out.
Annette: Fabulous staff, trainers and members. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Excellent cleanliness. Definitely a family atmosphere. Carolee and personal trainers are always willing to help. My core is stronger than ever before, my running pace improved significantly from 11mins a mile to 8:30/8:50, my diet and appetite changed, lost a lot of belly fat, running injury free and all of that in just 6-7 months. You can go easy or test your limits in these workouts. Carolee pays close attention to everyone and their individual needs. The owners genuinely "care" about you and are very welcoming. Pure Barre: what do users think?
Ash D: Had a FANTASTIC first fitness class here today! Super clean facilities, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They sell really cute lululemon outfits here too! I got a pair of yoga grippy socks for floor workouts that were really comfortable. Thanks again so much guys! See you again soon!
Carrie Bland: I absolutely love Pure Barre Cary! I will admit, I was intimidated at first taking a barre class. I am not at all the most graceful or coordinated person you'll ever see... but the instructors were so great and the Foundations class was perfect to prepare me to the more intensive classes. Everyone I've met their is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Cannot recommend this place enough!
Emily K: I am not a gym person and I’ve been trying to get into some classes and figure out what’s fun! This is a lot of fun. I can’t do a lot of the poses (yet) but there’s modifications and just doing what you can! The instructors are great, they advise your poses, and the sessions are lively. Everyone there is nice. Special shout out to Katherine who did the foundations class I took and helped me after class when I thought I was doing a pose wrong. It’s fun, bring a friend, and try something new!
Chelsy Davis: I joined Pure Barre Park West in January of 2022. I felt welcome, accepted and an overall sense of community. Working out was something I knew I needed to get back in, but I thrive when I have someone telling me exactly what to do and for how long. I quickly fell in love with the Classic Class format. The instructors have been friendly and supportive all along my PB journey. There have been a lot of wonderful instructors who exited around the same time. Although this was hard for me to see them go, I felt confident that the owner would work to recruit more people to teach! She really has been working to get more instructors and is spending extra time with training to ensure that the entire PB community is happy with new instructors. This makes me feel a sense of community. There are 2 things that are a challenge for me. Class times and style change often. I wish there were more 6:30pm classes on Monday and Wednesday. I am going to the Tues/Thurs classes at that time. Weekends have been changing up with 10am on Sunday or switching this class from classic to empower. I’m a classic girl, so wish weekends were more consistent, as some weeks I can only attend weekends.I love the PB apparel! I’d love to see some Lululemon come into the studio. Leggings, sweatshirts, etc.All in all, I feel confident continuing to go to Pure Barre Park West. I enjoy the new instructors and the people I’ve met along the way. I highly recommend that you take a class, it’s a blast!
Abigail Fuquay: Wonderful instructors and great selection of classes
Sonia Gonzalez: Awesome experience! I love Pure Barre in Park West. I have enjoyed all the class formats offered at this location. The community and instructors have helped me build confidence, keep me motivated and developed a sense of belonging. I highly recommend it. ❤️
trudi denoon: I’ve been going to this studio for a about a year and I truly enjoy the workouts. I struggled with working out and was looking for something that was low impact but would help tone my body and improve my overall fitness. Pure Barre provides a challenging workout that will help tone and strengthen, while improving your flexibility and posture. The staff are super friendly and supportive and provide gentle assistance during the session to help you with your form. If you’re in the area, I strongly recommend checking them out!
Laura Russell: I’ve been a regular at Pure Barre for several months now and plan to keep it going. I always get a great workout and love that feeling of building stronger, leaner muscles and having more endurance. Great staff and facility!
Laura Croyle: I just decided to try Barre for the first time about a month ago, and this studio has provided an amazing experience. There is an abundance of class types offered at an abundance of times, so it's really easy to fit into my schedule. Immediately, I sensed the community vibe, and I look forward to continuing to become part of it. The instructors are amazing--super helpful and supportive of where you are at. Eliza has been especially wonderful--so encouraging and motivating!!
Jessica Baga: Love this studio and the workouts.Welcoming, supportive instructors who encourage and assist - tidy space with a nice selection of gear and just aGreat community vibe. Lots of choices for classes times and styles to keep you engaged. If you need renewed motivation to get moving and get toned this is a great total body workout!
Amy Mistler: I first tried Pure Barre here in 2020 - the studio did a great job keeping up with safety recommendations during covid, so this got me back on track with my health and fitness coming out of the pandemic! It's a great full-body workout, that has improved my running, and increased my strength and stamina. The studio is always clean, and everybody is always so nice and encouraging! It's fun that the owner teaches or attends a lot of the classes, so she is around to see how things are going, and to make changes and hear our feedback and preferences. I like that they recently added more evening classes, so I have more options that I can get to after work, and there are also still the 6am and daytime classes for folks who like earlier classes. They sell cute workout attire and cute socks too, and I have bought way too many cute workout outfits here! Thanks Pure Barre Cary! :)
Travel Mom: I love barre but something changed in this studio. Most of the teachers suddenly quit so now the owner teachers most of the classes. I much prefer the other barre studios in the area and the variety of the teachers are amazing.
Amanda: I took an introductory class here through ClassPass. The instructor and owner were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the class but was unsure if I could stick to it long term and tried out some other Barre classes via ClassPass. I didn’t not get a membership here but still had a good experience.
Steph M: This my home away from home PB studio when I visit family in town. Great energy and love the experienced instructors!
Laura DiMichele: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityWhat a wonderful studio! I have been a member for over 750 classes and am thankful for the supportive environment! I am challenged in every class and love all the instructors.
Alexis Carambot: Was looking for a new gym after moving to the area, knowing I was not a fan of group classes I was suggested by a friend to start taking Barre classes because of her results. Hesitant at first I now have the full membership with the ability to go to as many classes as I want in a month! I love the staff, always pushing me in my workouts and are super COVID safe
kensley still: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI have been a member at three different pure barre studios over the years and the Cary Park West location is easily my favorite! Being in an exercise class can be intimidating at first, but the staff and other members at CPW are SO welcoming and kind! I could not recommend it enough.
Susan Spring: As one of the more "mature" members of Pure Barre, I find the workout challenging even after several years, and helpful in maintaining strength and muscle tone, with very low risk of injury. The studio is clean, staff knowledgeable and class times convenient. An added bonus is the friendships I have made over the years with like-minded, wonderful women.
Alicianne “Courtney” Everette: I visited Pure Barre through Classpass. The class that I took was a cardio class and it was great. I had a hard time catching my breathe, extremely out of shape, and had to leave early. The staff was great with making sure I was okay and even reached out to me later on that evening to check on me. Customer service A+.I will be returning to this location to try more of a beginner class.
Olina Young: Amazing instructors; great fun all over body workout; super friendly, comfortable, positive culture! Trying it out practically cost nothing and my body really changed in less than 2 weeks. It feels so good, I'm totally hooked :)!
Mandy Moultrie: Cheryl and team are absolutely wonderful! Love the ladies at the front desk too. 6am is astretch for me, but so worth it!

Jessica Williams: I really enjoy the classes and the instructors are extremely kind and motivating. The owners have been incredibly accommodating and responsive regarding membership and I continue to have a great experience with this studio!
Erica Wirth: Pure Bare CCC is wonderful!! I joined to get back in shape post baby and I’m so happy I did! The classes are both challenging and fun, the staff and instructors are super friendly and helpful, and they offer enough classes to meet my needs each week. I highly recommend joining!
melissa brown: Great studio. The instructors are phenomenal and so supportive. I am far from being in shape but I feel so empowered when I take a class.
Amy Morgan: Pure barre at Cary Crescent Commons is fantastic! The owners, teaching staff, and front desk staff are wonderful! It’s a welcoming environment that offers a challenging and fun full body work out! Highly recommend!
mylene avend: My daughter and I decided to try out Pure Barre in Cary. We love it! The staff are great and the instructors are the best! The owners are very accommodating. My 17 yr old daughter said, her focus and physical strength improved and she can't wait for the next session. I feel a sense of accomplishment whenever my"old" body" is able to stretch a little better than before. If you are looking for a great work out group - this is it. The atmosphere is friendly, non intimidating and non judging.
Robin Hudson: Pure Barre Cary Crescent Commons is great! The staff is friendly all the instructors are great It’s such an excellent workout!
Anne Robertson: Amazing workouts and top notch instructors who help with form... Quality over quantity is the mantra! Staff are all so helpful if you've never done Barre!!
Travel Mom: Hands down the best pure barre studio in the area. The owners are fantastic and so helpful and responsive. The teachers are seasoned and passionate about helping you with correct positioning. They also give healthcare employees a discount and a the virtual classes are not an added charge. You can also take classes in North Hills. Highly recommend this studio in the triangle.
Sydney Armstrong: The best and most welcoming environment has been created here by the owners, Megan and Rob. Each instructor is knowledgable, kind, and will motivate you while still encouraging you to do what is best for your own body. They keep their studio clean, keep music up-to-date, and it's an overall great experience that I would recommend to a person of any age at any point in their fitness journey!
Alyssa Robertson: I have loved being a member at Pure Barre CCC. I joined in November and so far, the classes are motivating and I always get a well rounded barre workout. All of the instructors are great, I particularly love Lydia, Megan and Chloe. This studio has been so welcoming and cares about all of their members!
Aimee Glupker: What a great place to work out! The classes are challenging and fun at the same time. The instructors are knowledgeable, helpful and encouraging. The owners and front desk staff are kind and friendly and the studio is filled with really lovely people who are enthusiastic to be there.
Tanya Faisal: As a total novice to barre (and exercise in general), I can't recommend this studio highly enough! The instructors make the classes clear and enjoyable, and they correct any mistakes/positioning errors in real time. All of your equipment is provided except barre socks (which are 100% necessary, and I found the branded ones at the studio to be the best). Each class is slightly varied, even if you go at the same time slots, so you never get bored. Plus, the class has no wasted time - you work out for the entire class class, from the moment it starts to the moment it ends. For a person like me who isn't really enthusiastic about exercise, it was a highly efficient and surprisingly fun use of my time. Highly recommend!
Karen Khoury: This studio's teachers made it possible for me to achieve success when returning to exercise. The program is unique and does change your body and strengthen you! The workouts are always different and challenging. The staff is super pleasant and helpful - all of them - and the studio is super clean. Highly recommended.
Stevie West: Look no further if you’ve been looking for a fantastic full-body workout, with low intensity! Pure Barre is without a doubt the most effective and efficient I’ve come across. I have been taking Pure Barre over the span of 10 years and just recently joined the Crescent Commons Studio. What a great decision that was! The studio owners, Megan and Rob are a lovely couple who truly care about their staff and community, and it shows. Their facility is always clean, the staff is phenomenal, and they’ve really culminated a “caring community.” I have taken classes with a mix of instructors, each bringing their own taste while still aligning with the Pure Barre format/method, and have all been great! If you’re searching for an exercise community that will support and embrace you on your journey, Crescent Commons is it! I hope to meet you at the barre.
Nacchianti The Wine Fairy: Absolutely love this studio! So clean and welcoming not to mention every instructor makes you feel like this class is "just for you." The personalized vibe made a new #barrelife member easily adapt and flow with the younger and more experienced members.
Kirsten Williams: I recently joined pure barre and am loving it so much! The instructors are amazing and the owners are so nice. I wish it wouldn’t have take me so long to join this great studio!
Shao: My friend and I had so much fun and sore muscles next day. Caitlin was out instructor and she is awesome!! 🙂
Amanda: I took a class here through ClassPass. The class was challenging as I usually find Barre to be but I found it even more difficult as the instructors verbal descriptions were hard to follow and she hardly offered modifications up or down. Overall the vibe was the least welcoming of the sleuth of fitness classes I have been taking.
Kelly Casp: Love this Pure Barre location! The owner and all the instructors are all so sweet, positive, and attentive and I always feel amazing after my classes. They keep the gym very clean and I feel safe coming here.

The Body Mechanic: what do users think?
Ameer Khan: Jeff is a wonderful teacher... open with sharing information and really cares about the clients. Awesome experience.
Anastasia Egorova: Great classes, owner, community! They were very good about the covid situation too, zoom classes, etc. Stopped going because I moved but I definitely recommend
Elizabeth “EC” C: I was in a severe accident and without Jeff's professional help I would have never been able to go back to work. My sincere appreciation for his insight and ability to correct my back and neck problems.
Cristina Lincoln: Looking for a workout without weights that challenges you while gaining strength and mobility in good company and camaraderie and leave feeling spacious and like you can conquer the world? Search no more! Check it out.
Tinku Saha: Life changing experience. I have learned how to get a high intensoty whole body workout without compromising my joints. You have to try it to know it!
Steve Klose: I’ve been a life-long fitness enthusiast primarily as a bicyclist, runner and someone who lifts weights. I’ve had back problems for the majority of my adult life. I was introduced to Jeff’s classes over fours years ago and he has changed my life. Previous to my first visit to a Dynamic Power Training (DPT) class, I had never been to a group exercise class in my life. Jeff’s DPT classes are a combination of stretching, balance, yoga, kung fu and calisthenics. I’m approaching 50 years old and I am in my best all-around shape (flexibility, well rounded strength and balance). I find DPT to compliment my running and biking in many ways. Jeff is the most enthusiastic, positive and motivating person I have ever met, hands down. He is one of a kind! Give DPT a try, you will love it!
Theresa Klose: This is one of the BEST exercise programs out there. PERIOD. I've been coming to Jeff's classes for four years now and I can't say enough good things about Jeff as both a Fitness Instructor and as a Massage Therapist. His fellow massage therapists, Mary and soon to be Brenda, are wonderful and Candace is excellent as a Yoga instructor as well. The classes Jeff and Candace lead provide a benefit to me that no other exercise has in the past. I used to do free weights as part of my exercise regime. However, now I am more flexible and stronger and it's all with my own body weight. The exercise classes Jeff designs are based on power yoga, martial arts, and callisthenic moves and are set up so that both the novice and the expert will be challenged but not overwhelmed. His mantra of flexible strength is the basis of it all. He is an excellent coach because he is inspirational, motivational, and relatable. He also likes to throw in amusing anecdotes to keep us smiling through the workouts. Candace's Yin Yoga classes are another must as they incorporate gentle, sustained poses that ANYONE can do. The Flow Yoga classes are great as well for a more traditional yoga flavor. My personal friends will attest to the fact that I'm always heaping praise on Jeff and his program. While I can't make this as a medical claim, I can say that I have not been sick once since I've been going to his studios. I have to believe the exercises we do plays a BIG part in boosting my immune system as well as my overall health and well being. Instead of being worn down from a workout of his, I feel like I've done something beneficial and rewarding. If you are curious about it, please don't hesitate to come by and check out a class or two. The sessions are fun and the fellow Mechaniacs are friendly, welcoming, and genuine. There is never any shaming going now as it's based on an atmosphere of true respect. This sentiment is what Jeff projects to all and something in which the rest of us benefit.
Faryal Khan: DPT is amazing! No weights, just your own body. Jeff is an excellent trainer.
Trevor B: I LOVE The Body Mechanic! Jeff is the owner and one of only 3 instructors. The classes include a small handful of options including like Dynamic power training, yin and flow yoga but don't let the limited options fool you. They are great at mixing up the routines and keeping multi-week classes from feeling monotonous or boring. The DPT classes themselves are always challenging and focus on both high intensity and deep relaxation. The Body Mechanic also offers personal training and massage therapy, both are excellent ideas if you have the desire to get more 1 on 1 time with these highly qualified instructors. If you have chronic injuries or have pushed yourself too hard at a regular gym, please do your self a favor and set up an appointment with Jeff or one of his other instructors. They will help you to work through the injury and increase range of motion, while developing and strengthening your body.If you are located nearby, or even if you are not, please check these guys out. I am constantly referring friends and family as these guys know what they are doing and are always extremely encouraging to both beginners and seasoned athletes.

Six Foot Fit: what do users think?
Erin Dufauchard: Six Foot Fit is a great community of people! The workouts are fun, yet challenging and different, never a chance for you to get board and stuck in a routine. There's always a modification even if that means doing a different exercise targeting the same area.Great trainers who get to know you. They encourage and push you to meet the goals you set for yourself. You are missed when you're not in class. You're celebrated when you hit a milestone(s) with your workouts, and when it's your birthday.I have become more confident, stronger, leaner and closer to the goal I set for myself. I have met some great people, made new friends. I look forward to my workouts with my fit fam!Everyone is welcoming and supportive. I highly recommend Six Foot Fit!
Leslie Rowen: Looking for a great workout? A community? The feeling of being back in elementary school recess with your pals everyday? Friends to make eye contact with every time you have to do a burpee? THIS (anti)GYM IS THE ONE!I have never been so consistent, for so long, with any gym or exercise routine. The incredible coaches (who know you by name, are the first to celebrate your wins, and always ready to adjust a workout for you), variety in classes (no workout is ever the same!), LOCATION (every workout is outside, unless it is raining or super cold!), community (Brenna, the head coach & owner, has truly built an incredible group!), and FUN (sounds corny, but truly, these workouts are fun, like being-a-kid-again-fun), are just some of the reasons why I have started every weekday morning at Six Foot Fit for the past six months.Truly truly recommend this gym--and calling it a gym feels like I'm selling it short, because it feels like more than that! Ever since my first class, I have felt welcomed, not just by the coaches, but by the community, too. I have never described myself as athletic, or fit, and never been one to workout frequently, but I feel so at home at Six Foot Fit. That should really say it all!
Jaime Fordham: I found SixFootFit through a referral, and it has been such a wonderful edition to my routine! Brenna and her team do an amazing job with setting a weekly schedule, including strength check ins, and including fun themes for some workouts! They have ensured that classes can be inclusive for anyone at any fitness level, which is hard to find these days. I’m so appreciative of this fitness family, what they stand for, and the great classes!
Kathryn Bradshaw: Finding a workout routine other than just running was always a struggle for me…I didn’t want to have to think about “designing” a workout, I felt stupid at the gym because I wasn’t a gym rat, and with work and kids I was too tired to actually start a routine and stick with it. Insert Six Foot Fit. What I love about Six Foot Fit the most is that no two workouts are ever the same. There’s so much variety that you never have a chance to get bored or feel like it’s monotonous. I don’t have to think about what I’m going to do because that’s done for me…and even better, it’s FUN! You can make this group as much of a family or community as you want…but when you’re there, you’ll cheer each other and have a blast like you’re just hanging out with friends. Couple that with the fresh air and it can’t be beat!
Daisy D: If you are me, you probably feel too intimated by an enclosed Gym. So when I randomly landed on a recommendation of SixFoot on a FB post and then googled to see that this is an outdoor workout I readily gave it a try. All I had to carry was my yoga mat and bottle of water and the rest of the stuff is structured using the beautiful outdoors and also a good variety of Gym essentials that makes you feel tired, exhausted but also so accomplished. Not forgetting the sneakiest but thoroughly entertaining way they incorporate workouts with games and quizzes that makes the workout something to look forward to. Being new to this area, I also came across such an awesome community of members who are so welcoming and motivating. I have been part SixFootFit for almost close to a year now and will continue to be part of this lovely endeavor by Brenna & Karyn.
J de Mello: Six Foot Fit was a lifesaver for me during Covid lockdowns and surges. Working out outside feels so much better than a stuffy sweaty germ-ridden gym! The workouts are fun, creative, intense, and combine cardio, strength, intervals, core, in many different modalities. The group makes it even more fun, because of the camaraderie and encouragement to keep going. There are modifications for all levels of activity and ability. It is so much more than group fitness! It is like a family! Milestones are celebrated, goodbyes, birthdays, number of workouts, etc. Brenna works so hard at keeping the workouts fresh and engaging and fun! The App is fantastic, as it gives you reminders a day and 3 hours and 1 hour before your class! Other group members can invite you to classes. All of these things help motivate me to show up and to keep going. The instructors are all fantastic, and bring different skill sets to the table. I have enjoyed being a member of the Six Foot Fit family. There is no other “anti-gym” like it!
Kate Rhoades: Never the same workout, but always tough and always fun. Trainers work so hard to create an enjoyable and welcoming experience. I'm a religious runner but found running no longer did much for me in terms of managing my weight. I started participating in SFF classes once to twice a week to mix up my workout and noticed an immediate kickstart to my metabolism. Highly recommend!
Valerie Contreras: Six Foot Fit has become such an important part of my routine. Class is always different which keeps it interesting and fun and best of all- the people are so friendly and supportive! The instructors provide a positive and happy environment and I really appreciate that!
Jaymie Pompeo: I love Six Foot Fit! Last year, I was searching for a new fitness place. There's plenty in this area to choose from, but none really felt like a fit.Six Foot Fit appeared on my social media, and I was intrigued that it was an outdoor workout. I decided to try it and haven't looked back.Being outside first thing in the morning energizes me. The workouts are always fun, creative, and challenging. I'm someone who needs to modify certain exercises, and that's totally acceptable here. No one is judging you, and the trainers are quick to provide alternatives based on what you need. The best part is the people! From the incredibly caring trainers to the workout family who show up , it always feels like I'm working out with friends every single day. It's such a positive environment - and provides a unique experience that you won't find anywhere else.
Alison Sykes: I have been going to 6FF for over a year and have loved the experience. Wonderful and caring coaches, outdoors, variety of workouts, and wonderful community.
Bianca Rodriguez: Six Foot Fit has been life-changing! It’s a great way to meet your workouts goals and make friends. It’s a great community!
Julia Gaffney: If you are looking for a fun supportive environment with creative workouts then Six Foot Fit is the place. I love the group personal training atmosphere. Every workout takes into consideration where you are in your fitness journey. Every day is a different workout and this keeps me excited and motivated to come. So happy I found Six Foot Fit!
Jhanevian Barzola: Another vote for SIX FOOT FIT as best workout place!I started in the summer and immediately fell in love with the community and workouts. I love that it’s outside and everyone is very welcoming. No judgement zone. It’s a genuine vibe and Brenna Doyle sees you for YOU not as a number.I showed up with a foot injury in September and they have modified workouts for me to keep me included in all the activities. I really appreciated that and was happy to keep showing up.I highly recommend six foot fit ♥️
Katrina Williams: I've had such a great experience working with Brenna for personal training. She is very attentive and intuitive and was very quickly able to help me work through some blocks I've had for a long time. I've worked with other trainers in the past, but Brenna was able to help me improve my mechanics and form so I'm now able to move in a way that doesn't cause pain! She's amazing! I also really appreciate that she incorporates mindset! She's so upbeat, positive, and it's very motivating. I'd highly recommend six foot fit and especially personal training with Brenna!
Greg Dragos: Brenna has put together an amazing team of “trainers” to help a cross section of folks who truly wannabe in great shape !! Use the “Antigym” !!
Lisa Doyle: Six Foot Fit has an amazing business/training model! The trainers encourage a fun and challenging workout while also keeping focus on safety and proper form, which I feel is missing in many corporate/franchise gym environments. They excel in working with all age groups and enjoy creating fun classes for a myriad of milestones and celebratory accomplishments...but more than just a movement on their bathroom scales. Feeling stronger and a sense of accomplishment is critical to a fitness commitment.
Debbie Dragos: Brenna is so creative at making workouts not only a challenging but a lot of fun. Invigorating workout.
sudher b: New and Fun way to workout.
Brittany George: It’s no surprise that SFF has a 5 star rating when I write this. The experience Six Foot Fit provides surpasses any conventional gym. All the workouts are outside; like have you ever seen a squat rack outside?? Here, you do. Anything is possible with SFF and the trainers work hard to make things exciting and spicy. No two workouts are the same, which challenges your body mentally and physically and also has you coming back for more. 😋
Tequesha McKinnon: Working out with Six Foot Fit has been such an amazing experience for me. I was having a hard time getting into the habit of working out on my own so I joined to have the support of others. I have been attending since June and they feel like a family to me. The workouts are great for people at all different levels. I was not really active before joining and over these months I have notice so much progress. The workouts are fun. The trainers have been motivational. I went from having a very sedentary to being active and excited about working out.TLDR: Six Foot Fit helped me get into the habit of exercising. It is great for people of all different levels.
Felicia Seely: I had an INCREDIBLE time at Six Foot Fit! The instructors were so passionate and encouraging and made the workout so much fun. Highly recommend!!

Jazzercise East Cary: what do users think?
Heather Carper: I started Jazzercise on a whim in November because of a package deal and I haven't stopped! Absolutely love it. The workout is fun and I have improved in my fitness, body composition, and ability to execute the moves. I love Jazzercise as an addition to my workout routine. I do wish there were more class times available, but I am glad for the ones that do work for my schedule. I routinely go to the 6am class led by Eva. Eva is absolutely amazing-- she leads a perfect class, she has high energy, she keeps the group engaged/makes it fun, and she has never been late or missed a class (which is so important when you show up at 6am!). This location is a great facility too-- it is bright, the floor is floating/easy to land on, mats & weights are supplied, and there are mirrors (I really like seeing myself getting better at the moves!). Tara is the owner and she is friendly, kind, and runs a great class! Cannot say enough great things-- highly recommend giving it a try!
Jenn Bejin: I love the smaller classee that felt like an instant community!
Angela Wright: An awesome way to get in shape!!!
Kathy Fussell: Tara and her team of instructors teach great classes!
Kathleen Perry: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismI absolutely love this Jazzercise center! Tara and all the other instructors are so awesome, give good vibes, and always make you feel great after every workout! It’s more than a workout. Jazzercise is a community and we all care! I’m blessed daily to have Jazzercise in my life!
Sarah Stein: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityAs far as I'm concerned, East Cary Jazzercise saved my sanity for the pandemic year! And it's such a pleasure to be back in person--this studio and all of the instructors are wonderful. Fifteen years later, I'm still grateful every class!
Dianne Higgins: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityEast Cary Jazzercise provides classes that are fun, challenging, cater to all levels of fitness and incorporate a good variety of cardio, weights, great music and a full body workout. The instructors are top notch and each class is a positive and uplifting experience for body and mind. Highly recommend!
Rebecca Andrews: Twenty plus years ago I found Jazzercise and their amazing instructors. I've worked out with them in Clayton, Garner, Raleigh and currently attend classes in East Cary. No matter where you live or work, there's a special group that strives to be active, loves music, and enjoys dancing together. If you don't love your work out....it's time to try Jazzercise. Hope to see you on the dance floor!
Karen Brittain: Jazzercise has been there for me for the past 6 years (in July) including the pandemic! I love all of the instructors and have made so many great people through East Cary Jazzercise! I cannot wait until we are all able to jazzy in person again! Truly my favorite group of people!!!
megan atkinson: A fun way to spend 1 hour! More like a party, but all the while getting a fantastic workout! I highly recommend Jazzercise East Cary. Tara is so welcoming and energetic!
Deepali Sinha: The best place to workout!! It’s my Happy hour of the day 👌👌
Joan Romer: East Cary Jazzercise is a wonderful place to work out. All of the instructors are excellent and there are lots of choices of times and formats. The members are friendly and encouraging. If you want to develop an addiction to exercise, begin here.
Psalm Sebastian: The best and most fun workout you'll ever do. I have been coming to East Cary Jazzercise for almost 3 years and I don't see myself quitting ever. I drive from North Raleigh just to attend because all other workouts pale in comparison. Lovely, clean studio. Wonderful owner, instructors, and a great group of ladies. You won't regret giving it a chance!
Monika Shakinovsky: I have been going to East Cary Jazzercise for over 5 years now and love it! Tara is the best and the routines are always fun and easy to do. New routines are always added and I love the new Fusion Fridays.
Rosemary Lee: Jazzercise at East Cary is the best 1 hour workout in town! It's fun and you get both cardio and strength training in a friendly supportive environment. 5 stars!
Betty Lynn: Absolutely love the feeling I get after a workout here. I especially love the strength training and fusion classes. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, the instructors are all fantastic!
Susan Santos: Class offerings limited, class sizes crowded. Suggest the floor be marked for designated spots so newcomers don't get crowded out. Very nice management, territorial regulars.
Keisha Robinson: The first time I tried Jazzercise, I fell completely in love with it and would not trade this exercise class for the world. I was invited by two co-workers of mine, and I must say this was the best invite ever. I took some time off, due to me being a new mommy, but now I'm back in the swing of things. This is a full body workout class, where we dance, do resistance training, kickboxing and Pilates all in an hour's time. So I say to you, if you have not tried Jazzercise yet, please find the nearest studio to your residence and join this class. Not only is the class great, but the instructors are awesome as well.

O2 Fitness Morrisville - Cary Parkway: what do users think?
Michael Delano Baun: I have been a loyal member of O2 Fitness since its opening and have enjoyed my time here immensely, largely thanks to the wonderful staff such as Matt, Kio, and Christian, among others. However, I've recently noticed a decline in the quality of service and the overall friendliness of the staff, particularly during an incident that occurred on July 7 at 1:30 PM.On this day, we were confronted with misinformation regarding the gym's guest policy. We had previously been told by an employee that we could bring a guest once every three months. There were four of us who came in as a group. However, we were informed that our guest needed to pay an entry fee which is conflicting with information given to us.Moreover, the employee at the front desk—who I believe to be the manager—made a less-than-friendly remark about us parking in a handicap spot and questioned us about our permit. To remind you guys there are Hipaa laws and you shouldn’t be asking about someone’s disability or even inquiring about someone’s handicap status. To clarify, one of our group members, Kevin, is a Disabled Veteran who proudly served our country and possesses a disabled veteran handicap plate. The attitude of this employee was not only passive-aggressive but also outright rude. If O2 Fitness aims to foster a sense of community—which it once did—I would highly recommend investing in customer service and
Yu Chen: If they tell you “they will refund you if u move to a different location”, don’t trust them. I have been waiting my paycheck for 6month. When they try to sell u membership, they call u everyday. When u ask when the paycheck will be shipped, don’t response u anymore.
Bill Zadeits: Really enjoy this O2! Great staff and Jude and crew always have a smile and friendly word at the front desk!
Neil Hart: New manager has made improvements and club is a great place to work out with lots of equipment and space.
Marisa Park: I’ve been doing the Deka workouts with Mariesa and John for a few months now, and I’m stronger, faster, and have better form on the machines than ever! I’ve cut all my Deka competition times down by over a minute thanks to their coaching, shared expertise, and training. Plus, they’ve got a great group they’ve put together; it’s always more fun to train with friends!
Matt Vaudreuil: Overall, it's a good gym. The cable system is in dire need of replacement and it could use another power rack, but the equipment is above average. The biggest downfall about the gym is the hours. They are the worst gym hours I've ever seen. Closing at 9pm on Fridays and 7pm on weekends is ridiculous. They need to follow suit with other gyms and be 24hr with key access. When Planet Fitness does something better than you, you need to reevaluate your choices.
David Moore: Can’t say enough about the training received at O2 Park Place. The coaching from John Stevens and Mariesa McCulloch is next level. Totally trust them to make you a better athlete.
Kylie Crawford: Very impressed by this gym. There seemed to be a good amount of equipment and space, a clean environment, and good lighting. My husband and I just moved to the area, so a friend told us about O2. Shea, who works at the front desk, greeted us and gave us a tour. She was very kind, professional, and answered all of our questions.
Samuel Schneider: Shout out to John Stevens and Mariesa McCulloch and their terrific Deka prep programs - my wife and I have benefitted immensely from participating over the past few months. Overall, I have definitely found O2 to be an excellent value due to the quality of the facilities, equipment and staff, plus the kids club has been a lifesaver for us. Only negative: could use a 2nd ski erg machine, I've found myself waiting for someone else to finish using it on multiple occasions!
Parth Dave: Love this gym! Equipment is clean, plenty of dumbbells and cardio machines, and turf space. Shout out to Jude for giving us a great deal for the entire family to join!
Beth Yakaboski: I cannot recommend this gym enough, specifically this location. I have been working out here and training with Mike Soloman, the athletic director, for over a year now and it is not an exaggeration to say the experience has been life changing for me. He is clearly very competent and educated and the progress I've made with his 1:1 sessions is incredible and has benefitted every aspect of my life. All the trainers at this location are incredible and could help you reach whatever your goals are, so just find whoever you click with best! The facility is also amazing and kept up very nice. The new GM, Jude, is clearly on top of things and, with Mike, has created a very supportive and welcoming environment that I always look forward to being at.
Angelica Ortiz: I love O2 Fitness Morrisville. Mariesa is the best!!! She’s always smilling, and encourages you to do your best. 🏼💪🏼
Julie Yakaboski: I don’t normally leave reviews, but I had such an overwhelmingly positive experience at O2 training with Mike Solomon that I had to leave one! I enjoy going to O2 to do my workouts, and most recently I had a training session with Mike. I cannot recommend him highly enough! This was my first time working with a trainer, and I was a bit apprehensive. I wasn’t sure what to expect in terms of the workout, and in terms of my comfort level working with somebody on my fitness. But all of my worries were for naught! Mike beyond exceeded all of my expectations! He is so motivating, and I left feeling so inspired, happy, and energized. He really listens to you, and is great at creating a comfortable space where you can express all of your workout goals. He has a real talent for making workouts that are challenging, yet doable. He assesses your fitness level throughout the workout and makes adjustments if needed to ensure that you get a tiring, yet achievable workout. He clearly explains how to do all of the exercises, and provides encouragement throughout! He is incredibly knowledgeable and is clearly an expert in his field. He is friendly and professional, and creates a great workout environment! If you’re looking to accomplish your workout goals, I would highly recommend Mike.
mohit babbar: Best functiinal area in the town
Vicki Webb: My husband and I are senior citizens and the only two gyms in our area that participate in the Medicare Silver Sneakers program are Planet Fitness and O2 Fitness. Being more familiar with Planet Fitness (as a result of their advertisements), we decided to check them out first. When we walked in the door of their Cary location, we were very warmly greeted and, when we told them our situation, they told us to feel free to walk around the facility to check things out. It was a very nice gym with a lot of shiny purple equipment and, when we left, we felt confident that we would probably end up joining Planet Fitness. Before doing so, however, we wanted to check out the other Silver Sneakers offering — O2 Fitness. We drove to the O2 Fitness Morrisville location and, when we walked in the door, we were very warmly greeted (just as we had been at Planet Fitness), after which things became notably different from our experience at Planet Fitness. Instead of an offer to feel free to walk around the facility, Jude, the new general manager of the O2 Fitness Morrisville location, gave us a personal and very detailed guided tour. He showed us all of the different areas of the gym, picking up and straightening things all along the way (he does it all of the time — he cares very deeply about his facility and it shows). He told about the variety of classes that are offered, the changes that he has made since becoming the general manager, and his plans for the future of the gym. In short, he made us feel extremely welcome and we were more than impressed with his enthusiasm about the gym, his accomplishments since becoming the general manager, and his plans for the future of the Morrisville location. As a result, we ended up joining O2 Fitness and we have never looked back. As new members, we were offered two free sessions with a personal trainer and, even though we were a bit nervous (neither one of us had ever worked out with a personal trainer), we went ahead and scheduled the sessions. We were partnered with a trainer named Michael Gonzalez, who treated us with the utmost respect, despite the fact that we were a couple of old people with zero personal training experience. After our two free sessions, we realized how valuable Michael could be in our journey to become more physically fit, so we decided to sign up for some additional personal training sessions. The decision to purchase the additional sessions was entirely our own, with no pressure from Michael (or anyone else), and it was the best decision that we could have made. The training sessions have been outstanding! I mean, yeah, they have been miserable, but miserable in the most wonderful way. We push and pull and strain and sweat and, as a result, we can actually feel ourselves getting stronger. During the sessions, Michael is always attentive, patient, and kind as he pushes us to reach our maximum potential. Through time, we have come to realize that, in addition to being extremely knowledgeable about physical fitness, Michael has a tremendous wealth of knowledge about how people can best fuel their bodies with food, which he has very generously shared with us. He has been a true gift to our health and we feel very fortunate to have him as our personal trainer. As for the gym, itself, the only minor “problem” that we have ever encountered is an occasional shortage of some of the smaller items, such as resistance bands, TRX cables, foam rollers, etc.; however, the items will usually become available within a short period of time, so it has never been a huge issue. One truly magnificent thing about the gym is the diversity among its staff and patrons. There are men and women of all ages, races, and sizes who regularly attend the gym and, based upon our experience thus far, everyone is very kind, accepting, and non-judgemental. To sum it up, we are extremely happy that we decided to join O2 Fitness in Morrisville!
shaikh sadique: Awesome place to workout
Brianna Aaron: Great gym! Large facility and the training staff is very welcoming.
Ethan Thrift: Great gym! Great staff!
Javon Floyd: I just wanted to acknowledge how amazing Christian L is to O2 fitness in morrisville. Super nice guy. You can ask him any question and he will give you his best answer. He really wants the best for you! Training with him for one day was definitely an experience and one to remember.
Evan Strong: I have been going to o2 for years and love it. In particular the personal training and Saturday morning boot camp are great. These are some of the best and most fun workouts I've had! The Saturday bootcamp has a great team/camaraderie vibe and is a great way to meet people as well.
Chris Dalessio: A good gym has gotten better as equipment maintenance and overall cleanliness has greatly improved with the new year.Bathroom and locker room facilities are cleaned throughout the day and the weightroom is looked after, weights returned.Happy to see the Improvement.

Athletic Republic Cary: what do users think?
Amit Verma: Athletic republic has changed my perspective of fitness. Combination of strength and agility training has made me more fitter and active. Davin has been wonderful coach for last one year. He not only makes work out challenging but also fun. Thanks a lot Davin for all your help!
Michelle Sutton: Great team of trainers here! We've loved the wide range of availability, especially on Saturdays. Everyone we've dealt with here has been more than helpful. Try them out--you won't be disappointed!
Himanshu Vajaria: Our kid enjoyed the classes. The facilities are great, and so are the instructors!
Jon Burrell: Can’t say enough good things about this place. I’ve been going to this place roughly every week for the past few months and doing the private sessions with Trenton. The amount of confidence I’ve gained and the amount of personally tailoring of the program to my needs has been fantastic. We talk through each workout, and he takes my input and incorporates it into my workouts. I feel stronger than when I started and will definitely continue to schedule more private sessions in the future.
Blackcrypto: I can really get in shape get ha ha
Suhas: I had seen so many fitness classes in Cary. but out of that your fitness class is the best. Athletic republic trainer team has the best positive attitude and that are highly energized to teach kids.
carey nobles: Athletic Republic is a great place for kids and adults to work out at. The staff is great and awesome , Please go check out this great place.
Rachel Rogers: My son enjoyed the experience of the acceleration and strength classes and the ease of walking to the classes conveniently scheduled right after his school. We had to take a break as our sports season started and it was easy to cancel during this time with the package we signed up for.
Candice Shah: I enrolled my son at Athletic Republic over the winter months. He runs cross country and track and was recovering from an injury. In his first (trial) session, he noticed he had significant weaknesses in isolated muscle groups that he was not aware of.In the 2.5 months he has been attending sessions at Athletic Republic, he has noticed great improvement in his speed and strength, as well as correction of the prior strength imbalances. Track season started this week, and he has noticed significant improvements in his abilities, and all pain free. We will be re-enrolling in future off-seasons for sure. Highly recommend. The owner is also great with communication!
Gregory Denning: My son has prospered from his time at Athletic Republic Cary. The facility is clean and the staff are great with young athletes. The guidance provided through training sessions has made a big impact to his physical and mental performance on the field.
Akshaj Goel: Very good gym. Staff is very friendly and treats you like family. Would recommend to any beginners
Mil MIn: My child loves this place and the staff! I highly recommend attending!
Ryan Hunsucker: Both of our boys have been going to AR classes since it opened. We love all of the instructors and the environment is so supportive and encouraging. The owner, Alen, is always around and immediately responds to any questions we have. Our boys seem to get a little stronger and faster each month, which is also nice.
Bryon Lawrence: Very enjoyable for the whole family. Good workouts have not had the same one twice.
K D: Wow, this place is a teen athlete's dream come true! Not only is it sparkling clean, but the training in incredible. The trainers all have very impressive backgrounds and education, and care so much about each athlete. They track your progress and have written plans on what you will be doing each day so no time is wasted. We are SO happy this opened up in Cary and would highly recommend. After 18 months of attending I would like to update my review to say my teen loves it more than ever. He has had HUGE gains in all measurables (vertical, 60, leg press etc) and looks forward to attending any chance he gets. Couldn't recommend more strongly.
Sandeep Kedia: Fantastic experience! Allen and the team are great! Kids loved coming to this facility! Great program for tenagers!
Vipul Uniyal: Excellent place to develop agility for sports fitness ..
Paige D'Agostin: I had an amazing experience at Athletic Republic while I completed around 3 months of ACL rehab with Coach Devin. The program was great, as I was transitioning through the many different phases of ACL protocol. It was also extremely individualized and personal during the process. I would definitely return to AR for regular training, as well as recommend the ACL program to people looking for a place!
Jeff Bowen: My family has been going to Athletic Republic of Cary 3-4 days a week for just over a month now and we absolutely love it! My oldest son is senior this year and is going to college in the fall to play football, so we were looking for a comprehensive program to help get him ready for the rigors of college football (especially with the uncertainties going in as a freshmen). After we did the initial free trial/assessment class, we all were immediately sold and decided to sign up for the Family Membership.Alen has done an amazing job building out the training staff. Everyone is super professional, extremely knowledgeable, and amazing to work with. Coming from a family of athletes who loves to play sports and train year-round, AR has been a breath of fresh air for all of us. It can get very mundane (especially for a pre-teen and teen-agers) going to the “gym” basically to do the same thing over and over again. Definitely do not have to worry about that at AR – every class offers something new and challenging – which we all really appreciate!I have been playing sports and working out my entire life and I love the morning AR-FIT class. I typically do the 6 or 7am session with Nicki as the trainer and she does an excellent job. My kids are 17/15/12, and they go to the Acceleration and Functional Strength sessions (2 different classes) in the afternoon for a total of 1.5 hours. Devin, Julia, and Nicki have all been their trainers and they really enjoy working with each of them. My 15 yr old daughter plays High School and travel volleyball. My 12 yr old son plays football, basketball, tennis, and soccer.Athletic Republic of Cary offers a variety of challenges for all skill levels for both the parents and the kids. I highly recommend taking advantage of the free trial to check it out!
Robin Marcus: Update: my son, now in 6th grade, has been training here for just over a year. He still enjoys Ignition classes, as well as functional strength, recovery, and sensory enhanced training. The trainers make it fun for him, and he is learning good form, injury prevention. You can see the positive impact in his form, agility, and endurance on the soccer pitch and basketball court.
Ravi Teja Poli: Always exceeding my expectations with highly supportive trainers, daily unique workouts and advanced equipment.I worked with trainer Nikki, who is knowledgeable in the workouts and very supportive in making sure that I am motivated and improving my performance. Alan (the owner) is very accommodating and was always there to support as needed.I would strongly recommend trying Athletic Republic if you are in West Cary and interested in improving your fitness.
