The Flourish Market: what do users think?
Tracey Reynolds: Can be some what pretentious
Jerry McKinley: Cute little boutique. Love the concept and message supporting women and their dreams.
Kelsey Mallah: Great place to get gifts for friends and family!
Kathryne Krueger: One of my very favorite stores for both gifting and clothing! I love supporting minority owned businesses and knowing that my purchases are ethical, sustainable, or both. The team here always goes above and beyond also.
Elizabeth Riley: I have been shopping at Flourish Market since their early days of being open and have had a positive experience every time and loved the items I have gotten from them. The only unfortunate part about the store is that they do not offer very many plus size clothing options which limits their customer base. There are not many boutiques in the Raleigh area that provide trendy, high-quality plus sizes and it would be amazing to have someone like Flourish Market add that to their offerings.
Vivian Nicastro: Adorable boutique. I brought my mom here because she loves shopping at local boutiques while visiting a new city. The woman who worked there was so helpful and friendly. They offered us hot cider to sip on while we shopped. Great mission-oriented shop!
Rachel Carter: Susan has been so extremely helpful and kind both times I’ve visited, she gave fabulous suggestions and definitely helps create a warm and relaxed environment. Jessica (the owner I believe) went so above and beyond when I had trouble with a gift card, you can tell she cares a lot about her customers and her business. Super cute clothes, jewelry and gifts!
Jessica Israel-Filipkowski: Love this store! They always have beautiful unique pieces
Autumn Mist Belk: Shop knowing that every purchase is making a positive difference!
Jenna O'Brien: This is my favorite store in Raleigh! Their mission to help other women succeed, whether through the retailers they purchase from or the customers they see on a daily basis, is inspiring. They have a great array of products that are all ethically sourced. They also have incredible customer service! I'd highly recommend you make this your go to place to shop.
Ana Carolina Oberhaensli: Very nice and friendly staff, the boutique has a little bit of everything so it is an interesting place to visit if you are in downtown. I saw they also have a work space for networking and workshops! 💕
Skye Hankins: Very nice boutique with cool gift items for yourself or someone else.
Selah Rhodes: This boutique is just amazing. They've done all the hard work for you - looking for women-empowered, purpose driven makers and brands across such a wide variety of categories. I love shopping here for years for all my friends and family - getting thoughtful gifts while also knowing my purchase is impacting a bigger mission and a real person. Oh, and their online inventory is ridiculous so you can conveniently shop from home!
Jennifer Griffin: This is a great shop. Everyone working here is lovely, and so welcoming. They have a great selection of gifts and clothes in stock, and the inventory changes up a good bit, but there are some items that stay around across seasons. Great combo of different items through out the year, but some beloved items being available on a regular basis. Parking can be tricky, but the store will validate an hour of parking in The Dillion Deck if you can't find a place to park along the street.
Div: Nice little store with items like bath soaps to candles, stickers and food items and more
monica johnson: The Flourish Market is everything you can want in a boutique and more. Beautiful and on trend products, an amazing, friendly, and supportive staff who will honestly tell you when something looks fabulous and, more important, when something does not work for you! And here is the kicker, when you shop here you are supporting women throughout the world. Women supporting women; what more can you ask!
Lacey Woodbury: This shop is truly a little gem! During my visit to the city, this was most definitely one of the highlights. Everything I picked up I wanted to bring home. Only 1 carry-on with no more room. 😆 I can't wait to come back!
Kyle Lucchese: Everything about The Flourish Market deserves five stars - the staff, the selection, the prices, the decor, and the location. The staff went out of their way to find pieces that fit what I was looking for, and though this was my first time visiting the shop, they asked for and addressed me by name, which felt very welcoming. I look forward to returning! Congratulations on the beautiful store and thank you for a wonderful experience.
Andrew Howard: Get your girlfriend something here. Or even just a gift card. She will thank you tremendously for it!
Jamie Merritt: I’ve been shopping at The Flourish Market for years, ever since they were doing pop up markets at local coffee shops & I’ll continue to support them for many more years! Emily, the founder, is always so nice & vibrant whenever we go in! I appreciate the work that she has done & all the wonderful products they offer! By far my favorite local boutique! (:
Rush Sabiston Frank: This store is so fabulous. First of all, it is cozy and so cute in its decor. Secondly, the staff is soooo very kind. I had an issue with an item and they bent over backwards to help make it better. Fabulous customer service. I like they carry local and unique items that you don't see everywhere. I have sent many friends to this boutique and will continue to visit and refer. GO!!!!

Plato's Closet Cary: what do users think?
katie morgan: If I could give 0 stars I would. Don’t waste your time trying to bring clothes here to get rid of. I brought Zara, Nasty Gal, and Urban Outfitters clothes - some new with TAGS - and they didn’t take a single item of mine out of about 60 items because they were “outdated.” Yet they’ll pay a million dollars for a pair of tribal print shorts from 2014. It is literally a sick joke. The people are rude too.
Payton Barbour: I’ve been extremely disappointed the last few times I’ve been here. I have brand name clothes that aren’t that old and they really don’t take much anymore, nor do they give you any amount of money that is even remotely close to “fair”. I tried uptown cheapskate for the first time before bringing my last bag of items here. All I can say is do not waste your time taking your clothes to Plato’s! They took two items and gave me $8.. uptown took more items and I received $80. The staff at Platos weren’t very friendly but at uptown they were. I definitely will not be returning to Plato’s.
Emi Sav: Recently went to this place bad service they don't have carts for kids makes me not want to go here again..
KATHLEEN TAYLOR: Very nice staff and nice selection for the size. When selling clothes it's best to get in early. They are pretty fair and have always been willing to explain why they took what they did and not other things. For example a jacket looked great but the inside fleece had too much lint. That's fair! I was able to fix that and sell it afterwards. Will be repeat customer.
Kibriyaa Nash: If I could give this store 0 stars I would. This store rips people off for their clothes and their ‘manager’ possesses no managerial skills. I asked the so called manager to clarify where did she see that the clothes were not in ‘good condition’ and she raised her voice at me. Plato’s needs to hire mature individuals to represent their stores and are able to handle certain questions. Do not ever go to this location!
Lizzie Dupree: GOOD: I love this store. You have to hunt to find some good stuff, but almost everything there is recent styles and in good condition. The staff are also very friendly!BAD: Almost every time I’m in there, someone has their screaming child in tow. I guess there’s nothing the workers can do about it.
Miriya Carson: they are way too picky and lowkey judgey. i was turned away several times before they took a look through my clothes. i brought in a bunch of nike shorts, american eagle items, etc and they barely took anything and they weren't that nice. i went to another place and they were a lot nicer and only took 30 min to look through my stuff rather than 2.5 hours.
Lamone Hodges: Very friendly and helpful atmosphere! Great selection of high-end clothing, jeans being my favorite. I ABSOLUTELY love the friendly mannerisms of Zeniah, Shania, and Ashley. If you are looking for more TREASURES for less Platos is the way to go!!!Why not use it to get something new. Overall, 5 stars from me.Thanks Debbie! Great hires!!!
Jenna Isgitt: Don’t come to this location unless you want to be stolen from. I brought in 2 bags of things and when leaving, they tried to tell me one bag wasn’t mine. I went on to say that it is for sure mine and I could list out everything that was in the bag if I needed to. They let me take both bags, and when I got home I checked through them to make sure nothing was taken that they didn’t buy. Well, 3 things were missing that they did not buy from me, one being a brand new tank top with the tag still on it. I called and they gave me nothing but attitude, blaming the mix up on how my bags looked. I wasted time and gas money having to drive all the way back just to get what they tried to steal from me.
kayla rose: This place is ridiculous. I brought 3 huge bags of stuff that’s 100% in style and in season. They didn’t even go through 2 of my bags… everything was folded exactly how i left it. I had to wait 3 hours for them to tell me they can’t take anything. They were super busy so clearly they didn’t even care to go through my stuff. The staff is horrible and rude. Don’t recommend at all.
Karen Allen: This place is hit or miss. Sometimes they have a geet selection of nice, modest clothing and other times it is nothing but skimpy clothing! It is for a younger crowd so in fairness to them, that is probably more than issue.
Jasmine Martinez: Wasted my time coming here since they weren’t buying anything today. Unreliable
michelle earp: Not in a good location. Couldn't take much of my namebrands that I took in.
sarah Kiser: I wanted a pair of white vans. Actually managed to find a pair here. I was really excited about it until I realized that they sold me a 6.5 and a 7. The next day when I went back, they couldn't find the other 6.5 nor the other 7.On an additional visit, I found a great boot with a decent toe box. Only one was on the sales floor as is normal. But, of course, a week later, they still can't find the boot's mate.Unreliable.
Sara Nolasco: Very good store 😌
Alo Alga: Drove 20 min to sell clothes to be greeted by a sign saying they weren’t buying today. Y’all need to update your website to accurately describe buying hours so that you are not wasting customers’ valuable time.
Cap Cap: Great selection of rarely worn clothing. Great brands to choose from
Hatem Tagel-Din: We wend there and simply asked us to leave and come the next day. Was not a good experience
Greg Garcia: Went 3 days in a row to try to sell clothes, each day being 4-6 hours before they closed. Every time I was told that they had reached their buying limit for the day already. I understand having a limit, but if you advertise your company as one that buys clothes from people, then you should be buying for longer than just 4 hours.
Lena: If you have been to other plato’s it is not a similar experience at all. They reach capacity of sales within an hour of opening every day and I have found give much lower offers than other stores I have been to. Really just a pain and not reliable. Also in a hard-to-reach location.
Sam Star: So annoyed with the policies here. I bought a crop top and was charged $18 for it because according to the tag it was part of a "2-piece set" but the bottoms simply did not come with the top, and it was only the top alone. After I got my receipt and realized I was charged the price for the top and bottom, I talked to a worker and the most they could do was give me a refund in CASH when I paid with my card, and they said they couldn't sell me the top alone. Not only did they screw me over by having a disorganized store and incorrectly tagged items, they couldn't even give me a refund in the right form after THEIR mistake. It's not like I went back a week later, I addressed the problem about 5 seconds after I checked out and was entirely dissatisfied with how everything was handled. Good luck finding the bottoms to that dumb top anywhere in your mess of a store....

Cary African & Caribbean Market: what do users think?
Assanatou Bamogo: I just moved to NC for school at Chapel Hill and only know this shop. I always do my shopping there and get the wheat Cereal powder for my kids. I wanted to try the one made of Maiis but once I Openned the bottle the product has changed color from white to reddish. I was skeptical that they would not get it back as I am bad at keeping paper receipt. When I went back shopping, I asked and they told me to bring it back. I then take it back to them for them to tell me that they cannot change it as they are not even sure if I got it from their store. Do you think a full time doctoral student with two toddlers will drive one hour (so two hours Roundtrip) with a $20 product if she didn’t get it from your store?! I was so disappointed that I left the Can on their counter and left. Anytime I go to this store I spend around $200 and certainly do not deserve to be treated like that. I hope you will find a way to respect your customers, their commitments and their money!
Matthew B: Very rude female staff. Lack of decent customer service and mis-labeling of pricing on products versus price at checkout. Buyer beware.
Mamoudou Balde: I complained about this store earlier today, but management was quick to respond and promises to take care of my complaint.I am satisfied and will surely reconsider my options.Thank you,
Prestigious Wisdom: Love this place friendly staff and if you can’t find an item the staff are so helpful the show you where things are! I love coming her to get items for my creole dishes.
John Dinyari: Explore unique African & Caribbean groceries & ingredients
Alice Muita: One stop shop.
Doyin Adeyemo (DoyinakaLyricaL): Best african market ive ever seen in my life. So clean and so organized and the staff is the best. I will certainly be back each week!
Ebony Franklin: I love this spot. It’s where I go for yam, suya, and all things Nigeria! Friendly staff and clean store!
Ashlyne Pitts: I went in for the first time and the smell was so bad I had to run out...i dunno what the smell is coming from but based on the last few reviews I'll never find out.
Tony Tigre: Great market! We travel to get here and buy groceries.
Tiffany Katende: More more 3 occasions have came across expired or rotten food, first was the rice with insects all over it, my sister recently bought rotten frozen tilapias and was rudely insulted by the owner!! A lot of other people have expressed their concerns regarding how the food is kept but the owner stated they are reviewed BY THE FDA EVERY 2 WEEKS!!! Yet the food are expired or rotten when you buy! DEFINITELY need to be reported !!!!Customer service is dead at this store if I could give a zero star I would!!!!
Beauty Inc: They sell expired meat. I wish I can post a video of the tilapias I bought from them. The inside of the fish was discussing. This store is dangerous to the public
Val Aliba: Love their products
Fanecia Daye: My husband is from Jamaica so he needed some international food so I drove him there. They are nice but I will not be back any time soon. Thanks
perpetual ochije: Nice and clean environment with good and respectful staff. Foods are kept clean and organized
Patricia Smith: Friendly
HairEtBeauty By Edith: They're nice
Denzel Brown: Varieties of west African produce. I like the idea that they've expanded the stalls. There is this girl behind the counter, who lacks respect. They need to employ respectful store keepers.
Kendell Monroe: Clean.... Excellent customer service. Now, I will look into prepare more African stews. I WILL BE BACK!!! HAPPY SUNDAY.
Narda: I was looking for mackerel in tomato sauce, went to food lion they did not have it. I was led to go to Cary African and Caribbean and I found some!!! I'll be back, there are dishes I'd like to try and they have what I need.
Nefertari Ali: Customer service could be A LOT better. They will not greet you when you come in or speak to you at all.

Pink Magnolia Boutique: what do users think?
S Rager: Poor return policy. Won’t even exchange merchandise (new with tags bought 14 days ago) for other items in the store. Lost my business. And the sales person was absolutely rude. At least be kind!
Erin Bridgers: Cute clothes but this 5 star is for the girl who works there. I didn’t catch her name but she has long straight brown hair. The sweetest girl ! I had clothes picked out ahead of time for a special occasion today . I woke up and hated the outfit I picked out. Long story short, I came in sprinting trying to find an entire last minute outfit . She was so sweet with really good suggestions. I was SO happy she was there to help. I got an entire outfit they I love. Thank you !!!
Amr Tagel-Din: Great experience here! Found lots of options that were what I was looking for and the front desk lady (Lexi) was extremely helpful!
Monique May: Terrible return policy!! I rec’d a necklace as a gift. I was told I need to return it within 7 days for a full refund, I did just that. Then was given. Store credit. I want a refund so I can buy something I LIKE. The reason given, “we can’t tell if you’ve worn the jewelry”. That’s BS. The necklace was tried on and then put back in the box with the tags still on. Ridiculous. Also, The girl that helped me looked at me like I was beneath her because I had no makeup on and in my workout clothes. Why would anyone shop here?
E Sultz: Loved shopping here, and the employees are so sweet and really do take the time to show they care about their customers! I’ll come back soon :)
connie forler: Just love this place! Great selections and very personable employees. If you have shopped there you are missing out!
Donna Gainous: I was quite impressed with my first experience with the people at this boutique. The owner went over and beyond the call of duty to make sure that I received a particular sweater that I had been looking for. I have not had the pleasure yet to visit this boutique in person, but I will visit soon. I was so impressed by the means they went to in order to see that I was a satisfied customer. I felt I was treated as a friend and not just a customer. Thank you for all that you did and I hope to get there soon to meet you in person.
