LeShonda Thornton: From an Independent Contractor take my advice: Run!I’ll summarize as much as I can. They are very short staffed, but it’s due to how unprofessional this organization is, not due to lack of work.They way it works is that you call in to advise dispatch daily that you’re available & they’ll in return call to offer you routes as they come in, with you having the option to decline.OR as in my situation, you’re offered a dedicated/daily route for a particular agreed upon rate that you run until the contract is up.The Issue: If CourierNet’s Fleet Manager’s, are unable to get a courier to run a route for the low amount originally offered, they are able to offer the courier a higher rate. But my logistics company (and other couriers) learned the hard way that they only offer the higher rate on the spot to get the route completed, to satisfy their customer (not the courier) and when payday comes, we were paid the original rate that we turned down.Then comes the run around, advising you FOR WEEKS that the adjustment will be applied to your next weeks check which never happens, (only so you’ll continue to run/satisfy the route for their customer) and now here we are waiting for almost $4k in adjustments!They even went as far as to give us weekly settlements (their internal pay pay statements) that reflected the correct negotiated amount, although they only deposited the originally decline rate. I guess they didn’t think we could count.For Independent Contractors this is a nightmare! We depend on ourselves for pay, gas, health insurance & the support of our families, so for a company to so blatantly pull a bait and switch like this is unacceptable and will be solved in court.If you overlook my post & decided to give them a try, don’t say you weren’t warned!

Kevin Hall: I can see the all the terrible reviews and their experience is just like mine! My delivery was noted as 'out for delivery' for 3 straight days! Got a hold of the terrible customer service and requested it delivered at a pick up partner on a particular day. Of course it wasn't delivered that day! Supposedly it will be at the pick location the next day (today, 6/1 actually). Will it be delivered? I have no idea and no trust in this process. Anybody at DHL who sees this review wanna do something about this?

More than two days later, still no idea where package is, whether it has been recovered or whether I will actually receive it. Am told that local office is not communicating with Corporate DHL office, so I'm completely in the dark.DHL had previously been my preferred shipper as they were generally fast and reliable. But now that I see how they handle things when deliveries go wrong, I am rethinking using them.Recommend using a different service (i.e. UPS) rather than DHL.Edit: Two days after the package was misdelivered, a DHL agent provided me with the address where my package was delivered. I ended up going to a stranger's house several miles away and retrieving my package myself. It had been opened and everything inside thoroughly inspected by the person who received it, but everything was intact.I stand by my 1-star review of DHL's service for this delivery.

My address has always been listed correctly and twice on 2 different days I had received a message saying “delivery attempted” and I know for a fact he didn’t come physically to the address. Customer service is not helpful and I would suggest using UPS or FedEx NEVER DHL

Taking a quick snap of the package as "proof" of delivery, because why bother with pesky things like actually delivering the package to the intended recipient?In all seriousness, this is a prime example of how not to provide delivery services. We are desperately waiting for a spare part shipped from Taiwan.Item is shipping to Safeharbor Jarrett Bay Boatyard which is open 24/7 and has a designated shipping/receiving department open from 8am to 4:30pm.At 2:24pm we received a text message that package will be delivered soon, driver 3 stops away. I checked the map, driver was in Moorehead City. An our later I checked again, driver still in Moorehead City, however now 7 stops away.Since shipping department closes at 4:30pm, we did the following- called DHL and put a note that driver should call when at boatyard so that we can meet- changed on demand delivery option to deliver without signature at front door- put a note to the front door of shipping/receiving department to call meAt 5:06pm we received a text that item could not be delivered: Delivery attempted – consignee premises closed.This cannot be true, since boatyard is open 24/7. If you enter boatyard there are signs guiding you to shipping/receiving. There are also people you can ask.Pretty sure the courier has never been attempted to go the boatyard.We tried to follow up with hotline yesterday. Even escalation did not help. They said: we try to reach driver to return, nothing has happened since then.We do not know where the item is or when the next delivery attempt is going to be. We probably will drive to the service center today (3 hours away) to find out. Cannot find any phone number we can call.You guys really have to improve on your last mile delivery service, it sucks.

But, the person who replied to my original message (ken) immediately took action after I wrote to the email he provided. The driver who delivered was kind was professional. I just wish DHL would build better systems that actually report what’s happening. I wouldn’t have minded receiving the package today vs yesterday, if the text had read so, instead of claiming I wasn’t home. Hope to see DHL do better. Ivanka Klimko: Hello. I had the worst experience ever. I ordered a package of clothing and paid 340$. It's a lot for me. So DHL delivered this package 2 times to the wrong address. The first time, they were able to return the package back. But the second time, they delivered to the incorrect address again. Afterward, they said the package was stolen and gave some numbers. That didn't help me. Because DHL wrote down that the package was delivered. When I asked a shipper to return me money he said that the package was delivered, and they couldn't help me. Plus, when I looked at package directions in this package, the delivery location is Morrisville, NC. But when I look at delivery location in other packages from this shipper, there is my city. So what should I do?

Ivy Miller: Worst shipping company out there, never delivers on time, states packages are out for delivery, you wait around till 10pm just for them to reschedule for the next day where you then again wait around all day. Out for delivery at 2pm and 8 hours later, no package...Not one shipment but all 5 shipments I have ever received through DHL.

Justin L: Terrible. Order was 5 stops away. It was 1/2 mile from my house. Watched the map with the vehicle drive one mile from their warehouse and sit in the parking lot and then updated to delayed. Therefor it will not be making it today. It went thru Paris and Germany faster than it takes DHL to deliver it 11 miles from their warehouse. Wish I never had to deal with this company again. They need to be shut down (this branch specifically) other locations actually do a decent job but this location should be shut down because they clearly don’t want to work- just collect a check.

Mitch Alexander: Driver claimed no-one was home so couldn’t deliver. 2 people and 2 dogs were here and a security camera. They did not attempt to deliver as there is nothing on the cameras and no-one heard anything. Now have to waste a second day waiting in for my delivery.

Scott Douglass: My package was supposed to be delivered on December 29. It wasn't actually delivered until January 4th, which would have been fine, but it was delivered to the wrong address. The picture provided was not my house. After working with the US DHL support team, they were able to recover the item. Then, this DHL delivered it - AGAIN to a DIFFERENT wrong address. Working with the DHL support team again, they told me the item was recovered and redelivered - however the 3rd time around I was not provided a photo.What I do know is, it wasn't delivered to my house. So after a month of back and forth with DHL, they've now told me the item can't be recovered, and that I need to contact the shipper, who had nothing to do with the awful service that DHL has provided. Now I'm worried if any other company ever ships anything using DHL, I'll go through this whole mess all over again.Based on other reviews for this Morrisville office, this doesn't seem out of the ordinary, but I'm completely baffled that somehow they delivered 1 item to 3 different wrong places on 3 seperate occations. Delivering it incorrectly once around Christmas would have been possible to pass off as a simple mistake, but it's absolutely insane that a company dedicated to delivering packages can be this bad at doing that one job.

danielle dozier: I received tracking notification that i would receive my package today. The driver came to my house and never got out the car. He started to pulled off and so I ran out the door yelling at him and he counties to drive away. I tracked my tracking status and they guy changed the status to delivered, but nothing was ever delivered. The proof of tracking signature was signed by a someone else other than me. I called customer service immediately and they were no help. The only thing they could do was create an investigation. I still have no package! Worst delivery encounter ever!

Don K: I've shipped from this store several times. Typically I would request rate quotes and I got straight forward answers. Yesterday I requested a rate quote and the person answering was very vague in their answer. I was directed toward an option which was $52. I later learned a different option which cost $9 was available. These 2 different options both were for the same package and the same arrival timeframe. For $27, I actually had an option which was faster than either of the 2 previously mentioned. My inquiries were not answered though.

The papers i sent from (usps)post office were 6.30 oz and i was charged $6.11 the papers i sent through this place were 6 oz also through usps and i was charged $11.25 for the exact same service.

MamitaHel Handmade: So I try to avoid this place because it's alway very busy and the employees aren't super friendly. I had no choice but to use their services today. Must be my lucky day. 1) It was empty and 2) Tracy was working the counter and what a sweetheart she is! She was patient as I tried to figure out my shipping options, and then came after me in the parking lot with my car keys and a big smile. My day started with encountering a rude person and Tracy made me feel better - all because of her kindness.

James Shilling: Not able to ship FedEx packages wirh Walmart return label. Employee was not helpful. Not a good place to ship in my opinion.
