The calamari was thick cut, no flavor and tempura fried. The hibachi shrimp and zucchini were the only good things that we ate, but even for $32 on the hibachi shrimp plate, it was not worth it.Service was fair, atmosphere was pleasant. I think this would have been more enjoyable if we stuck to the hibachi menu and ate at the hibachi tables.

Mounica Boggala: Went with family for my birthday dinner and the service was horrible. There was an entire piece of blue paper in my mom’s salad and all they did was apologize and say they will bring her another one, but never even did. The food was good but as soon as we all started eating as the chef was done cooking, one of the other servers brought out to-go boxes and plastic bags when we weren’t even close to finishing our food, and was asking us to grab them as we had food in our mouth.

Melanie Lynch: Couldn’t get into Kanki for Fathers Day so we tried Kabuki and were VERY pleased! The service was great, our chef was hilarious and entertaining, and we were sat + served quickly. Only place for improvement was the quality of the food and beverage. I had the shrimp hibachi, which was good quality, but the noodles, oil, sauces, salad dressing, soup and dirty martini tasted like they were bought in bulk, if that makes sense…. Just not as good as I’ve tasted at other hibachi restaurants. I would still go back here over and over again.

Ryan Byrne: I would tell you about the food but we never got any. We were told it was a 90 minute wait then they called me at 7:30pm to tell me my table was ready. At 9pm they told us we would have to wait for another 30 minutes to an hour for our chef to arrive. Their offer to make it up to us was a free appetizer. A free effing appetizer. All parties at our table left and ate at The Shiny Diner around the corner. Tip: if it’s teppanyaki you want, drive to Greensboro and eat at Benihanas.

Silvia Sanchez: Average food. Terrible service, I saw people walking out. They don’t want anybody business. Spent $50 on a take out for a pork plate and 2 rolls. They said South and north roll comes with 4 pieces of sushi after I went inside to ask them if that was right. 4 pieces of sushi for $10. I know it’s not true they just didn’t like that I asked if it was going to be too long after waiting for 40 minutes for a takeout.Everyone you ask will tell you that they’re mean and their service is terrible. I bothered to give them a chance.Just go to sushi nine. Bomb food, great service and Bogo everyday. Even without the bogo their prices are very fair for what you get.

Scott Crawford: Went here for lunch on a weekday on a whim. Almost everything we had was EXCELLENT! The miso soup was great, my spicy pork bulgogi bowl was awesome, and my wife's sushi rolls were top tier! Also the pot stickers we had for an appetizer were delicious! All the food was very fresh tasting as well! The only downside was the teriyaki sauce which left something to be desired.

Joseph Hsu: Having moved here from California, I’ve been searching for a “proper” California roll until now. (Crab filling should be shredded with mayo, not just a full crab stick). I know it’s a small thing but it’s a big difference for us. And we finally found it at Yuri!Rolls are good, fish are fresh. I love that it also has izakaya dishes. We always make it a point to come here if were in Cary.Service is nice but can be slow. Also was not impressed with their udon.

Christine Wei: Love this place! My sibling is friends with the owner’s daughter so we come often to support their family. The chefs are from Thailand, so the food is very authentic! I met my current boyfriend here on our first date and have ordered food on many occasions. All their food is fantastic!We came back and got the sushi for once. Their Thai food is better, but the sushi isn’t bad. Their fresh rolls are good, too!

I never been to prison but based on the movies and reddit stories , probably this food is equivalent to prison food. This is definitely not a good first experience. The rolls were decent, and the avocado was fresh, but the rice was also not stellar. Kyle Dudek: I recently ordered over Uber and I'm not sure if this was an issue of the menu being updated, but I essentially ordered a 32 piece sushi pack (the fully cooked family pack) and I instead got what seemed to be a 22 piece version of the all-star pack (which even that said it was a 36 piece). Ended up getting a refund over Uber because 32 dollars for a 22 piece order of the wrong sushi order is steep.

Benjamin Mangalam: First time here, nice little place. Got hibachi chicken and hibachi steak with fried dumplings. We both like our meals, wives got more vegetables than me 🤣, but she doesn't even eat vegetables. I wished it little bit more favor on the steak pieces. The rice was good with the vegetables. The fried dumplings were nice and hot. The restaurant was okay. There was water by the employee door entrance, and the bathroom was in the back of the restaurant.
Floyd Powell: Favorite go to Japanese takeout place. Been going here for years. Prices have gone up over the years so it’s kind of expensive now but it’s worth going every now and then just to try it. I usually get the hibachi chicken and shrimp and the wife usually gets the yummy chicken entree. Both are pretty good. You can expect to spend about $13 per person here (not including drink) and I’d recommend calling in your order so that your food is ready when you get there. Hope this helps!
