Xinran Li: The only contractor with Home Depot is ARS for installing new HVAC unit in Raleigh area. However, they provide really poor job.ARS installed a brand new HVAC unit at end of March. It has been repairing for at least 7 times wasted days of our time. As now, June 5, my air conditioner is still waiting for parts. The cover/hood left wide open. The manager Brandon promised us they will replace the cover and install the missing parts. But they never do. Brandon also ignores our call and messages. Till, it has been 6 weeks since we talk to the manager Brandon. Nothing has been done.Besides, the technician damaged the coil fins while they were "repairing" the brand new unit they just installed, and they are not promising to repair it.In the contract, they promised to refund and remove the unit within one year if we are not satisfied with their product and service. When I request refund, they just sent a technician, talk to you and promising to repair, which is something they never does.I heard ARS is a good company for plumbing. However, for HVAC installation and repair, they are not professional based on what they did, such as misconnecting wires during installation which damages the outside unit, failed to repair, ignoring costumers and not being responsible, not following the contract.

Absolute hot garbage wasting 4 hours of my day

An unrelated employee came down the hardware aisle from plumbing but was moving at about 1/2 mph and not helpful. I needed a shorter threaded rod than I had found there . After 5 more minutes of him meandering the aisle , he told me the longer version they sold (already in my hand) couldn’t be cut there. I was super surprised in the lack of intent to help or ability to resolve the issue. Instead he tried to sell me a hacksaw to make one cut. Super disappointed….

Once I try to leave a store lowes representative named Isaiah wouldn’t let me go out of store. I told him that I have receipt online and it was return stuff. He wouldn’t take my word and treated me like I’m thief and acted to detain me. To prove my innocence he made me walk with him back to customer service. CS was helpful by disproving Isaiah suspicion of me stealing stuff. Then I asked his name and then immediately he tried to act smart with me by explaining his point instead of apologizing me of his actions. I immediately said ‘no’ and he replied with mean tone ‘have a good day sir’ at my back. Overall worst experience with Isaiah with handling the situation. Customer service tried to help me but Isaiah needs some training on how to deal with customer rather than acting smart with words and stopping them up front with a stance of snatching a bag if I try to leave. This is another review about mistreatment with another customer. Hopefully corporate catches this wrongdoing with his lowes customers.

Greg Totherow: This is basically my local Lowe's Home Improvement. Their garden section is always stocked with seasonal plants snd flowers. They have order ahaed and pickup in the store or curbside pickup that usually works pretty well. As far as Lowe's goes, this is probably the best one in this area.

I feel people are working for money rather than doing what they want to do. Lowe's might not be Brian's dream job, but he made my experience as a customer more than satisfactory, because he acted like a person first, before an employee. I legitimately felt like I asked a friend to find something. he didn't go out of his way or nothing, but you can tell when someone does their job well, and he did spectacularly

Daniel Marcus: Whatever you do, DO NOT order appliances from Lowe's.The delivery company usually doesn't call either to confirm the day before or to give a delivery window, calling is a joke; "longer than normal wait times" is the norm, usually over an hour. They broke two dryers in a row by carrying them in incorrectly, until they ran out of replacements and told me I'd have to wait "about a month" for new ones to come in. They also didn't hook up the water line for steam for the dryer even though I specifically asked them before they left if they had (they said yes they had).
David Hutson: They freely admit their inventory information is always wrong and can't be trusted. They've said this for many years and still haven't fixed it. I've been mischarged. I've been flatly lied to. Get contradictory information from different employees. The "mylowes" tracking doesn't register half my purchases. They have missed delivery appointments by 12 hours with no updates and 2+ hour waits to talk to someone on the phone or chat

Sandra Finnegan: I come to this Lowe's all the time and normally used to find people who actually helpful. Slowly it seems that the associates care less and less about helping customers. Today we were here for over an hour waiting in the lumbar department. The item we need required one of the lifts to get and we were told by the associate that he had two things to do and then would get our item down. We were waiting in the area with no problem for about 45 minutes and then stepped into another aisle for 2 minutes while they were still on the previous item to look at something and then came back and both associates that were there were gone. We went to the register and someone was paged and waited 10 more minutes and no one showed up. We literally wasted over an hour after being told that we would be helped and then the associates were gone. Most likely on a break but this kind of management and customer service is ridiculous and disappointing.

Tyler Floyd: Got great help from Jose, he told me where to find what I needed and then actually showed me where to find it. Refreshing to have such a nice shopping experience these days. Not only was Jose helpful, he recognized me the next time I came in and was the first person to speak and again found what I needed. Somebody needs to give this man a raise!!!
Elizabeth Tranquil: They advertise a price match, but when I tried to price match some foundation vents that were sold at Lowe’s for $10 cheaper, the supervisor at this Home Depot denied it despite the model number (FVRABL) and product being the exact same one. She tried to claim the two items were different but they weren’t, they were the exact same thing, which is why the model numbers were the same. She might have confused the rough opening size with the actual product size? I tried to explain this or at least understand what the disconnect was but she wasn’t interested in resolving the issue. Maybe it was my bad and I missed something but as far as I could tell the store did not honor what it advertised so I am disappointed.
AYDIN SATICI: We waited 2 hours in home depot for a flooring quote. They could not give us a right correct quote in 2 hours. There were missing and wrong number in each quote. We had to leave without getting quote. Terrible service.
Truth Matter: Customer service in Pittboro store is a hit or a miss. This time, it was a miss black lady in customer service who didn't like white people.

I called the store to ask what the exchange process was since I didn't have my receipt. They said just bring it in with the credit card you used and we will take care of it. I made arrangements to borrow a truck , went there on my lunch break struggled to get it out of the truck myself while 2 employees walked by and didn't offer assistance. Waited in line for someone to help even know there were 3-4 people behind the counter not helping any customers. After about 10 min of waiting I was told they couldn't take it back because it had gas still in it. I explained I called yesterday to ask about exchanging it and the person I talked to never told me about the gas, I made arrangements to borrow a truck from someone and I was on my lunch break and this was inconvenient. They could of cared less and said we don't have anywhere to drain gas and I said either do I! I told them I would be right back and Chris the "manager" basically threatened me by saying "you better not pour the gas out on HD property and proceeded to watch me leave the store and load it back up again with no offer to help. I asked to speak to the store manager and he said he was. It clearly states on the receipt the store manager is Raul. The funny part is I have a friend who works part time at the Cary location and he said don't go to Apex bring it to Cary we have much better customer service. Shame on me for not listening. I had full intentions on returning the mower and replacing it with a nicer more expensive mower. Instead I will be going to Lowes after work.
Scott G: I have been choosing the orange over blue for the better part of a decade. Since I am a DIY’r and woodworker that represents a significant amount of purchases. I recently had an experience at my local HD that has me thinking customers are not the focus. 2 hours before closing time they had no registers open inside and only one register in gardens outside on a Saturday. Customers were being corralled through the self checkouts. I had a larger yard implement with a security cable so I went to customer service. There were three people standing there and one of them was on there phone. When asked the young lady graciously removed the security cable but none of the three offered to check me out. I expressed my displeasure and advised them I did not think it was right to force me to check out myself. I advised the person who appeared to be the more tenured that I dont work here. He shrugged his shoulders and went back to looking at his phone. I always thought Hd was more customer-centric. It’s time to start rethinking things. This movement to force self checkout eliminates their dependence on labor and shifts the labor onto the person who is paying for the product without compensation.
