They give comparatively more quantity of chutney and sambar, but the sambar is just water and veggies... please do better next time...

When I visited it was not that crowded and I didn't wait too much for food that was the good part.The Sweet was also good. There are a lot of Indian vegetarian options. That's the good part. The staff is also good and hygiene is well maintained.It is next to the Patel brothers and the parking space is also huge so you don't find parking space over there.Overall it was a good place for your lunch and dinner. j Pat: I do not give 1 stars but this was my worst experience. I would give zero stars if possible. I came in and the lady checking me out had alot of attitude. She was eating her plate while taking my order. After I got my order.. which I ordered. the Aloo chat, it came watery.. like extremely watery. I tried to cut the Aloo and it was cold in between. I told the girl at the front that the Aloo is cold and not cooked and she replied "oh." She did not offer to remake my food. The food was defintely old and watery. They dont care about food preparation and I do not feel safe to eat here.

They assigned a seat to me and when I started eating, one of the working staff told me that seat was assigned to different people. I don't know what to do or how to react, I came to my senses and directed him to the person who asked me to sit there. I couldn't eat my food there and had to come out finishing as soon as I can. Mohan G: Oh yeah! This is what I have been waiting for. The food spread was beautifully presented, and the taste was excellent. The non-vegetarian dishes had that extra kick of spice, which added to their appeal. Briyani was simply awesome; just blissful(can be less of oil). Oh man...I'm still craving for the Biryani (next time tummy 😋) . I must mention that the Payasam and Jamoons were exceptional as well. It was definitely worth the money, and the entire trip to Cary became worthwhile (obviously after our beloved friends😊) Staffs were courteous. Well done Team Anjappar! You made Tamilnadu Proud. Hans Enders: Really slow service, but yummy meal. 45 minutes for two dosa? Sad that they use one-time use plastic bottles of water and plastic to-go cups for other beverages. Apparently, they don't have a dishwasher for glasses. I feel they put the orders in for in-dining patrons in the same production line as the many to-go orders. Probably why we had to wait so long, ug! There is a nice mural painting of an agricultural scene in India, and somehow a really sweet, wooden canoe hanging overhead. I suppose that is leftover from the prior leasing business here. shrug

Ayisha Rehan: We came here on Friday afternoon for lunch with my son and daughter. We ordered Chicken 65 as an appetizer, and chicken biryani and paya with naan. My son didn’t eat much but he said the paya was really good and the chicken 65 was okay. For my daughter, we ordered the biryani as low of a spice level as possible so that she could eat it. The biryani we got was soo good she almost over ate!! She insisted we order another biryani to go so she could eat it for dinner too. So we asked them to pack a chicken biryani with the same spice level as the one we’d just been served and we also packed the remaining biryani and paya. When we got home she finished the remaining biryani and very much enjoyed it!! However, when she opened the 2nd pack of biryani we had ordered to go for dinner, she had a VERYY hard time eating it as she said it was too spicy for her. When we tried it, we too agreed it was too spicy for her. In the end she still managed to finish it ( with the help of a lot of dahi). She was very sad that the biryani she ate during lunch with such gusto became so difficult for her to eat during dinner. I hope that the staff takes care from next time to note down customer preferences more accurately so that such incidents don’t happen again. Besides this incident, the rest of the food was great and I will probably return here to eat again.

It is almost as hot as the food served in India, so don't think you can handle the hot level if TexMex is your idea of hot. One of our guests from North Asia said he likes really hot spicy food, but was shocked at how hot the hottest dish was. He had to get extra bread and mix in some yogurt in to finish his meal. The manager was very helpful and offered to replace the meal with something less spicy. However, my friend was determined to finish what he ordered. The manager later gave him a gift card for his next meal. Now that is customer oriented service! I had the shrimp in butter sauce and enjoyed the normal spice level just fine. g sandeep: Ordered food today and found a new charge after my card was processed. When asked the reason, I was told that the charge is for processing the card and If I pay with cash there won’t be any extra charges. In other places I have seen this processing charge when total is less than $10. But looks like the total amount does not matter now. I do understand how difficult it is to maintain a restaurant, but it would be good if we are told upfront about these charges. Hope the management will be more transparent when implementing these new charges.

Reetin Ghasi: Nice location, right off NC 55 and close to the RTP triangle. Smaller than expected but we were able to get a reservation for 12 without any issues. Slight drink mixup which was corrected. The Fajita category of foods was a fun mix of Mexican presentation of Indian food and in general all the food and drinks were 👍. Extensive drink menu so a great place to meet at the bar.

Streaming Analytics: We have experienced Urban Angeethi in two ways. First, they catered a party at our house. The service was exactly as advertised. It was professional, efficient, and delicious. Our guests ate more than we expected! We absolutely recommend them for any party catering. Second, we have dined at their restaurant. The decor is very nice and the service was quick! It seemed like just a few minutes between when we ordered and the food came out piping hot. He always goes for the lamb bhuna and I love any of the vegetarian options. We've eaten here about eight times in the last year and found that it is best to avoid any fried food. Also the soups were not to our liking. We ate here again yesterday and the curries did not meet our expectations. No idea why. We arrived early, so maybe they didn't have stuff ready? The breads did taste great. So the tandoor oven was fired up. Anyway, they only have an all day menu, so lunch is not cheap.
