niri dahal: The arrogance when a customer gives you a feedback was ridiculous not once not twice.I asked him two questions and he tried to describe as if we don't know what the sweets are.I am definitely not coming back as the food was exactly like the attitude*BAD*.I am aware that rabri is supposed to be sweet, but that was overly sugary. I SAID THAT IN A NICE WAY, BUT HE WAS VERY DEFENSIVE. Recommend this place to people who like bengali sweets, but be careful. Do not talk. Just buy and leave, or else you will be upset when you walk out.Update****We did eat the chat in the car as we paid for it.Other people may like it i did not...
Ashwini P V: Worst Tea I ever had. Flavor/taste of tea was no where. Was just milk with some spices and on top of that over priced.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Shriarjun Shastry: Rude owner. Sits on the chair like he is the king, no respect. He thinks everyone in the area sells canned sweets. Did not like the rasmalai that I brought. None of my guests liked the it either. I will never go back there.Reply to the owner: Boss first of all spell my name correctly, first step to respecting a person.I gave a review because google suggested me to give one, you want the exact date I was there? It is October 10, 2020 - go check your sophisticated software.Reply 2: Thanks for the speech. It was very boring. Good luck with your endeavors.
Tesh Parekh: Great food and sweets! At least once a week I stop by here, especially if owner Craig is in the shop. Highly recommend!
Deepti Bhavaraju: The quality of the sweets is very good.
Tess Bushman: Bengali food which was a bit different than other Indian food I have eaten. I did enjoy it. Not at at all spicy in the heat sense. Liked the Samosa especially. Lots of Indian confections that looked interesting but no option for ordering just one or two to try. Very small for dine in. I was the only one eating and almost all the people coming in for carry out appeared to be getting the confections. An option to buy sweets one at at time would be nice for those not familiar with them.
Pranab saha: Visited last week, quality of food was good, enjoyed it. Ordered Mango Lassi and Thali, it was like home-made, also picked up some bengali sweets and liked it. Planning to visit it again sometime soon.Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Kachori, Assorted Bengali Mithai …More
Shriya Amit: Visited Mithai after a recommendation but for me it wasn’t the best experience or possibly we didn’t order the right ones…First of all the sweets we wanted were all pre-packaged in big boxes so we couldn’t customize it in small quantities as per our liking. My husband loves Bengali sweets and the Assorted Bengali Mithai box that we had was kinda okay, nothing exceptional. Besides that, I have seen small businesses charge card fee & it’s waived off for purchases above $10, mine was $15+ including tip, so was kinda surprised to see the fee (3.99%) on the receipt, just my observation, it wasn’t a big amount. The attendant was friendly though & good service. Having said that, we’ll be back sometime in future to try some savory items on the menu.
Loke Al: All the items we had tasted good except the chai. I would go back again. The guy serving was polite and good
Venkata Suresh Chirala: Worst tea I never had before
Shrawan G: Visited store for the first time. It was clean, spacious, and nice little shop with good service. Positive experience and energy! Will be back again when I need mithai.Recommended dishes Indian Desserts, Assorted Bengali Mithai …More
Niketh S: I was in cary and wanted to have some chai and came across this store on google search. I was surprised by the price of chai. They charged me $5.60( with tax) for one cup of tea. This is very insanely high price for just tea.And as expected chai taste was awful.

LAELE: This place was so cute! The food was veryyy good and flavorful. The place is family owned and the lady who owned it was very welcoming and accommodating! H. A. (Rocky): Drove 65 miles to pickup the food I ordered and then 65 miles back to home but it wasn’t worth it…Food was very very bland almost no taste at all, biryani was totally made from pre mix spices that are usually available in local desi markets and used by people who don’t know how to cook also, the sauces that came with the food was gone bad more like expired so we had to throw them away…Chicken tikka was served with white rice which doesn’t make sense…I paid $120 for 5 plates with little amount of food which was expensive. If you are looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine then Kababish cafe is not the place.
Mobiuum: Phenomenal authentic Pakistani food. Place is super cute too and clean. Excellent service as well. The Bihari, Kurma and Karahi are excellent.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Richard Grablin: Tucked away in the back of the strip mall, was really good food, friendly service and interesting vibe atmospherically speaking. Can vouch that "India hot" level of spicy is scorching which I liked. Bring your own booze, they don't have any adult beverages to offer.
Orean Joyner: Excellent!!!!! I love trying new food and really love when it is good. Customer service was excellent. I felt like a queen all the attention was on me.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Mahira Ali: I was traveling alone with my puppy, and I am usually apprehensive about how places will react when I ask to sit outdoors with her, but I was very grateful and pleased with how welcoming the staff was! The owner personally greeted us and took care of us. Both owners were very hospitable and catering to each guest. Everyone was very kind and the food was amazing! I kept ordering more things to try. I will definitely be back when I’m around and would highly recommend!!

Marissa Touhey: I’ve never been disappointed by their hospitality or food quality, This place also had amazing Halem” which is hard to find on many menus , it was incredibly tasty! A must go place in Cary.
Ayisha Rehan: We came here on Friday afternoon for lunch with my son and daughter. We ordered Chicken 65 as an appetizer, and chicken biryani and paya with naan. My son didn’t eat much but he said the paya was really good and the chicken 65 was okay. For my daughter, we ordered the biryani as low of a spice level as possible so that she could eat it. The biryani we got was soo good she almost over ate!! She insisted we order another biryani to go so she could eat it for dinner too. So we asked them to pack a chicken biryani with the same spice level as the one we’d just been served and we also packed the remaining biryani and paya. When we got home she finished the remaining biryani and very much enjoyed it!! However, when she opened the 2nd pack of biryani we had ordered to go for dinner, she had a VERYY hard time eating it as she said it was too spicy for her. When we tried it, we too agreed it was too spicy for her. In the end she still managed to finish it ( with the help of a lot of dahi). She was very sad that the biryani she ate during lunch with such gusto became so difficult for her to eat during dinner. I hope that the staff takes care from next time to note down customer preferences more accurately so that such incidents don’t happen again. Besides this incident, the rest of the food was great and I will probably return here to eat again.

Jennifer McEwen: Delicious and delightful. Incredible Pakistani food - started with the samosa app and then shared the Tandoori platter and the eggplant entree and it was enough to fill both of us and have a meal leftover to take home. Love the casual but intentionally thought out ambiance. Will for sure be back.
Feyzan C: This is our go to place for the most authentic and delicious Indian food. Owners are really amazing.
Fauzia Chaudhary: Delicious food and pleasant, welcoming owners. Nihari, Haleem, tandoori are super flavorful and authentic.

Kathmandu Kitchen: what do users think?
Nayan Patel: We ordered everything Mild and it was mild - the Veggie noodles, cauliflower fried, and vegetable pakoras. All very good and tasty. I am Indian so I can tolerate more spice - although the Veggie noodles were right as mild. Good service too!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
H K: We’re well traveled N Indians, with a fine palate for all foods especially Indian. We visited Kathmandu K over 4th July weekend, and were supremely disappointed. The service was dismally slow. The sauce served with the mono’s was haldi+water. And a gut wrenching chili! Imagine that. Pointing out to the owner how inappropriate that was she quickly exchanged it. The chicken that we craved for came on a sizzler, but lacked the malai flavor or the tenderness we expected for the price! The only good thing was perhaps the parantha’s which weren’t cheap either. The class of people who visited was low albeit with money. Our general recommendation - don’t waste your time coming here
Alex Holler: Amazing food. The samosa chaat is my absolute favorite anywhere. The curry can be better some days than others, but I have never had a bad meal here and will always be my go to for “Indian food”.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Chicken MO MO Classic, Chicken Curry, Samosa Chat …More

Ebony Franklin: The food was so delicious. I had the mushroom chicken and it did not disappoint. The service could be a lot better. When I dined in there was a mishap in the kitchen that caused the restaurant to smell. No music was playing so it made it hard to have conversations without others hearing.Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Mick Thomas: We get take out from here every week or two, and it hits every time. Tiki Masala and Tandoori Chicken - can’t go wrong.Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken …More
Lambodar Ray: This restaurant serves Indian cuisine with different variations and spice level. Tondoor bread is fanatic. Rice said with Rajma is supper delicious. Both friends who always explore different food options enjoyed our lunch
Beverly Brevit: Food was great. We stopped for lunch but had no lunch menu. Table beside us received a very steamy dish the spices got I to my throat and had a coughing fit. Place could use some ventilation.
goutham siddhu: Title: An Unforgettable Culinary Adventure at Kathmandu Kitchen!Review:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐My recent visit to Kathmandu Kitchen was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy ambiance that instantly made me feel at home. The restaurant's authentic Nepalese cuisine and impeccable service left a lasting impression on me.Let's start with the star of the show—the Chicken Thukpa. This traditional Nepalese noodle soup was a burst of flavors that awakened my taste buds. The tangy broth infused with aromatic spices was the perfect balance of warmth and zest. What truly made it outstanding was the addition of tender fried chicken, which soaked up the flavors of the soup and added an extra layer of deliciousness. Each spoonful was a delightful journey that left me craving for more!Another dish that stole my heart was the Chili Chicken Momo. These bite-sized dumplings were a work of culinary art. The thin layer of dough was expertly wrapped around a succulent meat stuffing that oozed with juiciness. The balance of flavors was spot-on, with a tantalizing blend of spices that left a delightful heat lingering on my palate. It was a truly heavenly experience that showcased the chef's mastery of Nepalese cuisine.Aside from the exceptional food, the service at Kathmandu Kitchen was second to none. The staff was attentive, friendly, and eager to accommodate any special requests. They went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was exceptional, providing recommendations and answering any questions I had about the menu. The restaurant itself exudes a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The decor beautifully captures the essence of Nepal, with vibrant colors and traditional elements that transport you to the heart of Kathmandu. Whether you're dining alone, with friends, or with family, Kathmandu Kitchen provides a comfortable space to enjoy a memorable meal.Overall, my experience at Kathmandu Kitchen was nothing short of extraordinary. The Chicken Thukpa and Chili Chicken Momo were the highlights of my meal, offering an explosion of flavors that I won't soon forget. The combination of excellent food, friendly service, and a welcoming ambiance make this restaurant a true gem. I highly recommend Kathmandu Kitchen to anyone seeking an authentic Nepalese culinary adventure.
Pamela Huang: I got the butter chicken and it wasn’t very good — the chicken was slimy and old tasting and the sauce itself didn’t have much flavor. I much prefer the butter chicken at tandoori trail
Lily: Really good first experience-everything was spicy as requested and very delicious! Cannot wait to try in person. Amazing palak paneer- extremely good! Tasty chili mo mo’s and good vindaloo.
Meherin Mosharaf: Disappointed! It was my first time visit there the environment was fine for dinner. If I talk about the taste it wasn't good I'll give 5/10! I ordered Veg pakora, Samosa chaat, Chicken Chow-men noodles, Butter chicken with butter naan & garlic naan. The chicken chow-men noodles tastes very bad 👎🏼 worst chow-min noodles I ever had I complained the server & returned it so she didn't charge me.The butter chicken tastes okay not that good I had better than this. Samosa chaat was okay & butter naan was the only thing I liked it was perfect but they burned the garlic naan I regret ordering that. I believe they should change the chef to serve better food service!
Andrea Wilson: My British husband and I have been dining here for about a year. Curry is now the british national dish and these curries are a close facsimile. He always goes for the lamb bhuna and I love any of the vegetarian options. We've eaten here about eight times in the last year and found that it is best to avoid any fried food. Also the soups were not to our liking. We ate here again yesterday and the curries did not meet our expectations. No idea why. We arrived early, so maybe they didn't have stuff ready? The breads did taste great. So the tandoor oven was fired up. Anyway, they only have an all day menu, so lunch is not cheap. We will continue going there for now as it is the closest to a british curry as my husband can get.
C C: Food was very delicious, service was excellent even though they were very busy. I gave them 4 stars because the bathroom floors were nasty and sticky, toilet was clean though. We’ll comeback for sure, hopefully they’ll improve in this area. Great and quick service.Recommended dishes Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori …More
Colin Rothwell: Best Indian food in NC hands down. Don’t miss the garlic cheese naan!
Chaoran Chang: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Seetha Arun: Very disappointing first visit.Very oily and not worth for the money. We ordered fries, crispy cauliflower which was very oily and the taste was very awful.Felt like the fries was done using reused old oil.We have to throw the food after taking our first bite.Definitely will not recommend this place.
Donald Clark: We had dinner here tonite. The service was pleasant and the food was outstanding! Chicken tika masala, butter chicken, egg plant, and momo’s for an appetizer. All was excellent!
Daniel Jacobs: First time trying this place and it did not disappoint! Everything was delicious but the chicken dumplings really surprised us… they were awesome!! CheersFood: 5/5 …More
Janet: Service was friendly but unfortunately the food was very overcooked (especially the chicken and lamb in the tandoor platter we got, which were so dry you could barely bite into) plus the dumplings were almost rock hard despite how good the sauce on top was. Overall was disappointed as I expected everything would be better prepared vs what we got.
Karen Smith: Cozy atmosphere and the BEST tandoori chicken I've ever had!

J. B.: The service here is really great, but it is an order-at-the-counter setup, so not a full sit-down service, but still very helpful people. The food is really good. It is almost as hot as the food served in India, so don't think you can handle the hot level if TexMex is your idea of hot. One of our guests from North Asia said he likes really hot spicy food, but was shocked at how hot the hottest dish was. He had to get extra bread and mix in some yogurt in to finish his meal. The manager was very helpful and offered to replace the meal with something less spicy. However, my friend was determined to finish what he ordered. The manager later gave him a gift card for his next meal. Now that is customer oriented service! I had the shrimp in butter sauce and enjoyed the normal spice level just fine. The cilantro sauce is excellent and adds flavor to the dish.
Jay B: Sorry, but this food is awful. Greasy, does not taste authentic, a real let down. I literally dumped in the trash after a few bites and cooked ramen, which was better/also awful, but that is what I had on hand. For example, sag paneer was mostly onions, and a minuscule amount of paneer (cheese) and sag (spinach)..People give this a good review, why?never again..
Regan Arora: Amazing place to have infian food, samosa chat was super delicious.Warning- Try karahi chicken only if you can bear 8/10 level of spice. I liked it though 😀Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
