Sukanya Rajan: Ordered more than twice and received completely different experience. Ordered paneer pakora and chole bhatura few days back. Pakora was really yummy and chole bhatura was good too.. giving two stars for that.. ordered fried rice and pongal and will not recommend anyone.. worst pongal ever.. it was very watery and undercooked... They give comparatively more quantity of chutney and sambar, but the sambar is just water and veggies... please do better next time...

Sachin Verma: We stopped by 17 people for dinner and ordered variety of foods! It took little longer to serve the food but that’s obvious since it was a large order. Kadhai paneer (very spicy) and malai kofta sweet with some Indian spices were the super delicious. For those who are non veg lovers , try out variety of dishes and you won’t regret. Jenil Jariwala: One of the best Indian restaurant in town. We discovered it first when we moved here. Place lives up to the expectations and justify all the good reviews they have received. We are frequent visitors due to the close proximity to our house. They have plenty vegetarian options, ambiance is really great and have outdoor patio as well. Staff is friendly and accommodating and very knowledgeable about their menu and dishes. By far, basil garlic naan, veggie cutlets, paneer tikka masala, veg Dum Biryani and Mysore masala dosa are some of my most favorite items from the menu! It’s a bit pricier but taste justifies it. I will definitely recommend to visit if you haven’t yet!

Their food is fantastic and very reasonably priced, but the ambience (very clean with modern décor and soft music) and the drinks set them apart. I've had their Mirapakaya Chicken Curry, Butter Chicken, and Karaikudi Chicken (the flavors for this one are exceptional- they really understand how to make all of the spices stand out without any single one overpowering the dish.) Luanna Saade Cheatwood: My husband and I love going to Mirchi’s. I have food sensitivities and they always take the time to find safe options for me. Mirchi’s has become the place we take family and friends when they come to visit us from out of town and want to experience the best of Cary.Dietary restrictions: I am (very) lactose intolerant and every staff member we’ve met so far has been incredibly patient and helpful in finding safe options for me. We’ve also brought friends who are allergic to gluten, and the same kind of careful treatment was given to them. We haven’t had one single bad experience at Mirchi’s so far!

Tess Bushman: Bengali food which was a bit different than other Indian food I have eaten. I did enjoy it. Not at at all spicy in the heat sense. Liked the Samosa especially. Lots of Indian confections that looked interesting but no option for ordering just one or two to try. Very small for dine in. I was the only one eating and almost all the people coming in for carry out appeared to be getting the confections. An option to buy sweets one at at time would be nice for those not familiar with them.

Shriya Amit: Visited Mithai after a recommendation but for me it wasn’t the best experience or possibly we didn’t order the right ones…First of all the sweets we wanted were all pre-packaged in big boxes so we couldn’t customize it in small quantities as per our liking. My husband loves Bengali sweets and the Assorted Bengali Mithai box that we had was kinda okay, nothing exceptional. Besides that, I have seen small businesses charge card fee & it’s waived off for purchases above $10, mine was $15+ including tip, so was kinda surprised to see the fee (3.99%) on the receipt, just my observation, it wasn’t a big amount. The attendant was friendly though & good service. Having said that, we’ll be back sometime in future to try some savory items on the menu.

Bugs Subu: This place is a nice hole in the wall for vegetarian and vegan chats and treats. They have quite a selection of sweets and while we were seated at the restaurant many folks dropped by especially for the sweets. The bhel puri was fire! As were the samosa chats. The chole bature though, was a bit of a let down. The mango and rose lassis were really watered down and lacked any flavor.The restaurant has limited seating (up to 2 parties of 4) but is clean and cosy. It's pretty pricey for a casual chat dinner but that's the price you pay for a local small business serving ethnic food. The place is good for an occasional chat fix and has stood the test of time.

Moon Roy: We love Persis food and often eat there or do take out. But past weekend we did a big catering for my daughter’s graduation. We actually approached them very late. But the owner was so accommodating and did their best in such a short notice. I can say each dish tasted different and curries were really good. There is no compromise on taste and quality. The chef added his own twist and add ons to some of the items which were very much appreciated by the crowd.I would highly recommend any of the restaurants under their chain ( BLR, Wok on fire, Persis)

Three dishes have arrived over the course of about 30 mins and I have no idea when the rest will arrive. As a side note, this place is an accessibility nightmare. Barely enough room for my elderly grandmother with a normal sized walker to come in past the host stand and first few tables. Very strange place. The waiter just sort of came over and stared at us when it was time to order.Update: food was absolutely delicious once it all arrived. Everything he recommended was delicious. He even gave my mom a birthday hug. They were kind enough to bring out cake and sing happy birthday, as well and they put us in a little private room that made the experience more intimate. We will definitely be back to Nazara!

Dasheera Branagan: We have come here for both of my graduations in a row!! The food is to die for (must try the crab curry and garlic naan) and the service is always incredible! This time, we had Raj as our server and he was so kind and knowledgeable about the menu that he gave personal recommendations for the guests and everyone loved their dishes! Every time we come here, they do a great job of accommodating a large group and making it a special night!
Nicole Kaghat: My girlfriend and I went there and hadn’t been there since before Covid. I do get delivery at home, and there was always a big pile of oil at the bottom of our dishes. (Seed oils?) So I figured I’d go into the restaurant to see if eating in house solved the problem. The prices are very high and portions much smaller than they used to be. And, we had two waiters who insisted that we share a bowl of rice, instead of giving us the rice that comes with our meal! They were rude, and I got a air of male chauvinism from them. I will not be returning.
Sanjeet Joshi: Inconsistent taste. If you are lucky it's great. Their tava chicken is consistently the best appetizer in town. Biryani is a joke. Other Punjabi dishes are authentic, but we have a had our bad days here. Overall it is still our go to North Indian restaurant.

(Rocky): Drove 65 miles to pickup the food I ordered and then 65 miles back to home but it wasn’t worth it…Food was very very bland almost no taste at all, biryani was totally made from pre mix spices that are usually available in local desi markets and used by people who don’t know how to cook also, the sauces that came with the food was gone bad more like expired so we had to throw them away…Chicken tikka was served with white rice which doesn’t make sense…I paid $120 for 5 plates with little amount of food which was expensive.If you are looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine then Kababish cafe is not the place.

Mahira Ali: I was traveling alone with my puppy, and I am usually apprehensive about how places will react when I ask to sit outdoors with her, but I was very grateful and pleased with how welcoming the staff was! The owner personally greeted us and took care of us. Both owners were very hospitable and catering to each guest. Everyone was very kind and the food was amazing! I kept ordering more things to try. Ayisha Rehan: We came here on Friday afternoon for lunch with my son and daughter. We ordered Chicken 65 as an appetizer, and chicken biryani and paya with naan. My son didn’t eat much but he said the paya was really good and the chicken 65 was okay. For my daughter, we ordered the biryani as low of a spice level as possible so that she could eat it. The biryani we got was soo good she almost over ate!! She insisted we order another biryani to go so she could eat it for dinner too. So we asked them to pack a chicken biryani with the same spice level as the one we’d just been served and we also packed the remaining biryani and paya. When we got home she finished the remaining biryani and very much enjoyed it!! However, when she opened the 2nd pack of biryani we had ordered to go for dinner, she had a VERYY hard time eating it as she said it was too spicy for her. When we tried it, we too agreed it was too spicy for her. In the end she still managed to finish it ( with the help of a lot of dahi). She was very sad that the biryani she ate during lunch with such gusto became so difficult for her to eat during dinner. I hope that the staff takes care from next time to note down customer preferences more accurately so that such incidents don’t happen again. Besides this incident, the rest of the food was great and I will probably return here to eat again.

Jennifer McEwen: Delicious and delightful. Incredible Pakistani food - started with the samosa app and then shared the Tandoori platter and the eggplant entree and it was enough to fill both of us and have a meal leftover to take home. Love the casual but intentionally thought out ambiance. Will for sure be back.
