Steven Knott: Absolute evil when it comes to denied claims.Had a produce cancelled at the last minute and pushed back TWELVE weeks even when the Dr. said it was absolutely needed.
Shelley Platz: This is the most horrible insurance I've ever had. We were guaranteed that 2 dental visits per year would be covered under this insurance for my son. We confirmed that information before the visit with the dentist. Got a bill of almost $400 and they are saying they won't cover the visit. Had we known that, we wouldn't have gone because we don't have an extra $400 just laying around. I've spent over 8 hours total on the phone and filling out appeal forms to get this resolved and they still haven't payed the bill. This is extremely unethical and I hope they go out of business soon.

I've been dragged around and told multiple different things from multiple people and honestly they don't care about the people that use aetna. This company is honestly insane. I guess I should have looked at the reviews before I got them.

I was given an email address to reach out to the selling agent by email.They can update the contact number. In another words, it not our problem. It's yours. Thank you for your services.
Wyatt Webb: If they ever reach out to you saying there is an opportunity to save you money.... what they mean is there is an opportunity for you to save them money. They will reverse all claims paid and leave you both liable and having to do all the footwork to correct the issue. Incomprehensible how'd they disincentivize customers to lower their costs like this.

Super incompetent from representatives to supervisors. I have been on the phone with them over a span of 5 days with each call lasting over an hour and the issue still has not been resolved. Kyle McCue: Horrible individual plan with wildly high deductible and minimal coverage for therapy sessions. I had one 45 minute session with a PT at Duke at Aetna covered 56% of the visit. Like why have I paid $80 a month for them to cover 56% of a PT visit. Insurance companies seem irrelevant and solely detrimental to the doctor/patient relationship and I hope over time people move to individual payment plans with their physicians and insurance disappears completely. I chose a google review over a phone call because ain't nobody got time to sit on hold and then explain this to someone who isn't going to do anything.
Tracy Frantz: Husband canceled his coverage 30 days before he died only to have them continue to pull money from our account. Do not give them your bank account info. My husband died 5 days ago and they stole the only money we had left. Spent 3 hours trying to get to the bottom of it. Transferring me 31 times. Hung up on by their phone system. Buyer beware
Doris Hanneman: Today we each received a 12 inch square box full of items to keepus healthy in mind and body! What a nice surprise from Aetna! The items included two masks, oral health care items, hand sanitizer, bandaids, a digital thermometer, cough drops, eye drops, sun screen, etc. etc. (and a word search to maintain our mental agility!)
