Triangle Compounding Pharmacy: what do users think?
Ayla Volpe: I was desperate to get my medication. My doctor sent in an Rx for bio-idential HRT and I called the next day to fill it. However, I still had questions and reservations as this was my first time using hormones. So, I spoke with pharmacist Wendy H at TCP. She was the most helpful, informative, comforting, and responsive pharmacist I've ever met. I felt so cared for and educated by her. All of my questions were answered and she continues to respond to me promptly with comprehensive, thorough instructions and advice. I can't say enough how appreciative and calm I feel knowing that I can go to her with any concerns and/or questions. The staff was also wonderful when I went to pick up my Rx - extremely professional and the office was immaculate. I'm telling all of my women friends to use this pharmacy if needed.
dlboarman: Customer service does not exist. No call back even when they ship to the wrong address. The ability to leave a message is very limited. No attempt to fix problems.
Kim Moore: It's important to understand that this is a highly specialized, accredited, compounding pharmacy. The set-up is different from getting a compounded prescription from a retail pharmacy. Many retail pharmacies offer compounding services, but compounded meds aren't federally regulated - you really don't know what you are getting unless the pharmacy is accredited! That said - there are definitely retail pharmacies that are accredited and supply a good, sound product, and that is fine! Those types of pharmacies are usually following a set "recipe" for the compound that any trained pharm tech can follow. They can't get too creative and deviate from the "recipe," simply because they don't have the extra education and skills. If you need a pharmacist to really work with you on different flavors and formulations when previous iterations have not worked, then Triangle Compounding Pharmacy is THE place to go. My cat is on compounded fluoxetine, which is quite bitter. The retail pharmacy we were using was accredited, which was great, but their answer to the bitterness problem was to add tons of marshmallow flavoring. That solution did work, and I could get my cat to take it via oral syringe, but he could still smell it and he wouldn't take the med in food. When I had the prescription transferred to Triangle, they listened to my concerns and they tried several different flavors. They really care about their patients, including the kitties! And now thanks to Triangle, I now have a formulation that my cat will happily eat in food. My stress level is cut in half, and so is my cat's.
Melanie K.: We desperately needed a prescription and made a special trip at the behest of a doctor who said this particular pharmacy is the only one who could get us what we needed due to the type of Rx needed This pharmacist almost immediately sent us away and told us there was nothing they could do due to a small typo on the Rx. They didn't even bother reaching out to the doctor for clarification even though we told them the doctor literally rushed us out the door to this pharmacy a mere 10 minutes prior. In addition, they told us we would just have to wait until Monday to get what we needed. This was on a Friday evening. So, knowing how desperate we were, they lacked compassion and empathy and told us to wait 3 additional nights for relief for something that could have been handled with a simple phone call. All this while knowing we needed their specific pharmacy for a compound Rx. They showed an absolute disregard for patient care. They never received my business and never will. We will drive to another city rather than return here.
ben hawkins: A prescription was made especially for our cat and the pharmacy contacted us promptly. We were very pleased with the inner action from the front desk as well as the Pharmacist who answered our questions concerning the medicine. Thanks very much.
A. G.: Price gouging, 2.5 to 3.5 times the price of other pharmacies. Not friendly either, the front staff wouldn't talk to me and didn't greet me.
Tom Davis: Specialty compounding pharmacy. Very good results not too easy to get in touch with
N C Tatum: Get compounded formulas, that are not available elsewhere.
Leslie Stewart: I very highly recommend Triangle Compounding Pharmacy! They are very easy to work with, very helpful and very responsive to inquiries. I was amazed at how quickly they filled and mailed my last prescription!
Kel And Clif: Do not fill at this pharmacy. Find another pharmacy that is willing to bill your insurance. This pharmacy refuses to bill ins companies because they are trying to make the most money possible instead of taking what ins is willing to pay. They give patients false hope of getting a reimbursement by giving them a claim form to send their ins. Save yourself time and money and find a pharmacy that will bill your ins company.
Rachel Sliby: If your looking for a job that’s going to last you more then a year...this is NOT the job for you!!! I’m still living the nightmare!!! 100% Unprofessional. Multiple chemical spills, they talk behind your back, etc. Expect to work with NO help! Expect to do a 2-3 person job! They don’t care about their employees! Had issues with not getting enough help and manager ignored. Expect to be let go if you have a family and your a hard worker. I hate writing reviews because you never know if one is true or not but believe me...run away from this pharmacy! If you are not looking to stay and you don’t mind chemical spills this job is for you! Good Luck!!!
Devin Wallace: Great staff, extremely professional, one of the cleanest facilities in the country.
David Williams: They are very helpful, and prompt! Much appreciated.
Bobbie Gardner: I've used this pharmacy for almost 10 years. I have never had a problem with them, and their staff is always very helpful whenever I have called with a question or a request. I have a recurring prescription that I refill monthly, so my experience with them is of a regular frequency. Because my medication can be made exactly as prescribed by my doctor, I am not forced to try to take standard dosages or drugs with ingredients that don't work well for me. For the benefits to my health, I am glad to handle the insurance claim myself.
Sean Hanehan: This is one of the few compunding pharmacies around and our doc sent the prescription over before we knew there were other options. This place is pricey and they will not file insurance. I was not impressed with the service either. All in all I would not go here unless it was the last resort.

Walgreens Pharmacy: what do users think?
Solita: Trinise is the best. She helped me in the photo department and when I didn’t like the results she went above and beyond to make sure I got what I wanted. She really didn’t have to do that, but she chose to be kind and helpful. Honestly, it touched my heart. The story: I picked up address stickers last night that were off center. I told her I would take them anyway, paid and left. When I got home I threw them away and re-ordered different stickers online. Trinise must have seen my name at the store because she wrote “remake- no charge” on my order. It was very kind and a good deed that usually goes unnoticed. I want her to get credit. This will be my new store because CVS’s service does not compare to this. Thank you!
Hannah Hunt: I scheduled a COVID vaccine appointment at this location today. My appointment time was during rush hour so I expected for there to be a little wait. After checking in, waiting for over 40 minutes, and having people without appointments seen before me I asked the pharmacist for an estimate about how much longer the wait would be. I was met with attitude and told “you and everyone else have been waiting.” They are clearly understaffed and stressed but this behavior was not called for. Save yourself the wait and go to a CVS, never had any issues with their locations.
Steve Hockenyos: The employees are nice, but have made numerous mistakes on my prescriptions because they're completely reliant on what their system tells them, which is wrong at least half the time. Today's mistake was the last straw and I will now be getting mine filled at the Harris Teeter in the same shopping center.
Nathan Lokey: Clearly Understaffed. If you have a prescription you need to call ahead for to fill you either need to go in person then wait for the refill or hope that you aren't hung up on while on hold. I've not had much luck getting someone to talk to me to say more than "please hold" sooner than 10-15 minutes after which I'll be hung up on. Go somewhere else for your prescription for everyone's sanity.
L E: I switched to this pharmacy from the avent ferry location and oh my god am I glad I did. The lines are sometimes very long but I think they are just understaffed and overwhelmed. Everyone working at the pharmacy is so nice. The people working at the one on avent ferry are horrible, judgmental and rude. The difference is night and day.
Rouaida Chakra: More staff needed. To enable the one on duty answer questions or orders without mistakes
RedB Ben: Do yourself a favor and go to any other Walgreens. They got all the lazy flakes in here.
Kyle Lewis: A technician, by phone, lied about scheduling COVID Vaccine appointments. Upsetting!
Nikki S: I visit this pharmacy because it’s closest to my house and it’s the partner pharmacy with my insurance. Usually it’s fine, but I’ve had some questionable experiences with them. Most recently I had an issue getting a prescription with them. I had a special card that covers the prescription, but they kept insisting it wasn’t working. I fought with them, back and forth, for 4 weeks and they kept telling me I was wrong and the card wouldn’t work the way my doctor said. I finally gave up and went to Walmart. Walmart took care of it in one day, with ZERO issue. Yes, WALMART of all places gave far better service and took care of the issue. All I got from Walgreens was frustration and attitude. I’m glad I took my business elsewhere.

Walgreens Pharmacy: what do users think?
Darren Murray: They would get zero stars if it would let me due to the pharmacist there being very rude about my medication and making comments that she has nothing to do with, it’s one of the older lady’s there and a guy there, the younger lady’s in there are good though. Will be changing pharmacies asap.
Nathan Miller: Took nearly an hour to receive a COVID-19 booster even with an appointment scheduled in advance. I did eventually receive the scheduled service but for how simple the process should be and other options available for the same service, that is unacceptable.
Delora Murphy: There is no worse place then this Walgreens Pharmacy. The store and people are nice, but the pharmacy! The pharmacists are rude and out of control. Everyone in the pharmacy moves as slow as they possibly can and lines can extend down the aisle. I recently had an issue with the pharmacy, and decided to transfer my prescriptions to the Walmart Neighborhood Pharmacy. I was a bit reluctant but knew I could never go back to Walgreens. To my pleasant surprise, the Walmart pharmacy is awesome. There was a line of 5 but I was out in just a few minutes. The kicker, a prescription that cost $150 at Walgreens was $21 at Walmart.
M D: Super slow. Be prepared to wait for 30 minutes for your prescription. I always leave at least that much time for a pickup. Seems like this location is terribly understaffed and the staff seem stressed out. Only reason I still go here is my insurance.
Ngoc Tran: Helpful, professional and courteous staff. It’s my go-to pharmacy in Cary.
Nadia Kennedy Zdrojkowski: Looked cleanish. They are only Walgreens in the area that is open past 9 and at least until 10. I'm not sure that it can often suck to be "that guy!" Having said that, the pharmacist did not in fact need to be so rude at 9:01 p.m., with an hour left! There was no other cars in front or behind me & when Hudson asked for a l l o l l i p o p she snapped at him saying they don't have lollipops for kids?!?! She also didn't get off the phone that made me sit there for about 8 minutes instead of just making sure she could read my name off the prescription!. I've been here before!! And, I was only dropping off one prescription which was for eye drops I called ahead to make sure they have in stock. She told me it would be 25 minutes and she would need to see my license again! I said okay no problem I will wait. In the parking lot obviously. Then she said it's still going to be 25 minutes! I DIDN'T ASK?!?!.
Will Refvem: 2 years of bad service, spam calls and text messages, and sorry excuses for why calling in a prescription never works. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Jack Cotterell: Awesome pharmacy staff
Bipin Nair: This is one of the worst Walgreens in the area. Good luck finding someone to help out. Be it the pharmacy or the photo center, most of the times the, staff would see you looking or calling out for help and still would act busy or keep talking among themselves. Even when we are at the register to check out we would still end up waiting.
Stephen Coley: Very slow drive thru assistants working here very slow in terms of knowledge to there job and performance and think standing around looking pretty will make it through life huge turnover NEWS FLASH PLEASE DON'T USE THE DRIVE THRU AND ANSWER 100'S OF QUESTIONS THAT'S WHY YOU GO IN THE STORE

Walgreens Pharmacy: what do users think?
Georges Guirguis: Very poor customer service. They do not listen at all.I may have to change pharmacies.
John Sanchez: The pharmacy at Walgreens in Stone Cove village in Cary, is by far the best. The staff and pharmacist are extremely helpful and caring..they are always willing to go above and beyond to help..great store, and friendly people!
Diane K-Dash: I have only had positive experiences here. Each time the pharmacy staff has been extremely helpful, patient and kind. I have not had any problems of any kind whatsoever with this Walgreens. Honestly, my experiences have been a pleasant surprise each time. It seems to me that each member of the pharmacy staff has made an effort to go "above and beyond" in order to help me.
Lora Greco: Horrible pharmacist. He was not helpful at all and acted like talking to me was an inconvenience. Every answer to my questions was, “ask your doctor.” I will not be returning.
Brian S: Horrible Pharmacy. I have been here four times since the rite aid merger and all four times they have screwed something up. First an allergy med here is 129.99 but 31.99 at rite aid. Second they tried to double submit something. Third we called in and came two hours later and they have no record of it so we waited forever. Fourth they yet again had no record of a prescription called in by a doctor. Run away. Go to CVS.
