Nichole Baird: I had an appointment scheduled for 8/26 for a small move. A guy named Greg called me today and he was very aggressive on the phone asking for me to change my appointment time since his previous person overscheduled me on the calendar. I was very patient and tried to find another time that would work with my schedule as well. After much back and forth with him, I asked him to give me 5 minutes to check my schedule and I would call him back. He then HUNG UP on me! Crazy! Well, thank you very much sir for giving me the heads up now so I would NOT do business with your company and/or trust you with my furniture! NEXT...Edited: 10/7/22The owner is LYING, he 100% hung up on me. I REMEMBER! He is 100% not telling the truth and trying to save face here. Look at the rest of his reviews...there are too many here to count that say he is rude and disrespectful.

Brian Shevack: Critical:ProfessionalismDo not use. Tried to scam my uncle, only covers cracked tv screens and denied this claim. Not sure they know how TV's work, but that's a cracked LCD screen. They do not take care in moving your stuff and specifically tried to scam an old man battling cancer. Honestly HORRIBLE

The crew was on-time, quick, friendly, efficient—not a single item broke or scratched and the price was the lowest of all the quotes. Morgan Crutchfield: We’ve had a fantastic experience at Life Storage. First, Brenda was very up-front and thorough in explaining pricing and helping us get set up for move-in. We had to come in last-minute because Bee-Safe had changed their pricing and fees the day before we needed to move. Brenda made everything easy. The next day at move-in, Lee could not have been more helpful. We really felt like the Life Storage staff valued our time and money, and that’s a big deal these days. The facility is clean and well maintained, safe and easy to access. There were a few carts to help move and the door access codes were reliable and easy to use. All around great experience. Would recommend!

Glad she was working today so I could tell her how much I appreciated her as we closed out.

Karin Wick: Don’t trust CubeSmart! I rented a 10’ X 20’ storage unit for a car. The online system required me to fill out multiple details about my car, vin, license plate etc. When arrived, the unit could not accommodate a car. As a result, I had to also rent a parking space, now paying 2X. Total bait and switch.

Michelle at CubeSmart understood exactly what I needed and took wonderful care of the situation, letting me know what her office needed from me and staying in communication with me while I waited for the auto transport company to confirm the pickup date and the driver's name. Michelle let me know as soon as the driver picked up the vehicle and she immediately closed out my account once it was picked up, saving me from having to remember that one last step. I couldn't be happier with the excellent customer service I received from Michelle and her staff at this CubeSmart and I highly recommend them if you are in a similar situation.

We used to have a storage at lifestorage back in TX. So when i moved to NC, i again use lifestorage. Priscilla was phenomenal helpful. She showed me the space. Help me finalised the rent I initiated online. Everything was done under half an hour. I am glad to trust lifestorage

Unfortunately, just before I was to move in, I was told the price they quoted wasn’t available as the first floor unit had been rented but if I went w a third floor unit, I could have the rate quoted. No big deal! After 3-4 months of being moved in, I received an email the rates were increasing 32% with one month’s notice. 32 percent! Ironically, it’s the exact amount they tried to offer me for the first floor unit that was gone when I first moved my storage in. I planned to use the facility long term so it’s really disappointing they seemingly played these types of games. I’ll now have to move my items. Something to think about before using this facility. I hope it helps someone else from the time and hassle.

Vinny Vince: After letting us have 24-hour access for about a year, manager John Anderton gave us a notice on July 29 to leave by August 7. On the evening of August 7, he rejected the money, which we misinterpreted as a free month for the unit. On the morning of August 8, our code stopped working. On the 9th, we had to get a police escort to recover our belongings. John wants all our stuff out by Saturday or he'll destroy it.Never put your stuff here. In fact, pull it out if you're a current customer.Edit (08/14/2022): I fixed a typo in the manager's name. This review was posted on 08/12.
