They are still the best place for getting expert advice on shoes and insoles and have excellent customer service. There's also a great selection of sneakers and supportive footwear lines including sandals and fashion shoes. They can evaluate your walk and support needs, and help find solutions for a lot of foot and back pain issues. My husband was on heavy nerve blockers for foot pain before going to Sole Dimensions. He got customized insoles and found out which shoe types work best for him and he never used the medication again. Prior review: Expert service. Ellie helped me understand what was causing my foot pain and what kind of support I needed to prevent or reduce it. She also has an awesome memory for her customers and what they purchase in the past.

Jeremy Roberson: Scam of a company, buyer beware!I went in due to foot pain and reading positive reviews thinking they had experience as per their category. (I drove from near Virginia for this)My first sales person was Melody and she told me I had a few shoes to pick out, didn't measure my foot or test for anything. She told me I had 14 days to return for a full refund and I could test them walking around the local store in which I did and experienced terrible foot pain but they were closed so I had to wait to go back.Upon returning I was greeted by an older woman with a bitter attitude and said I could not return the shoes as promised by Melody after only testing them for 20 minutes in the local Harris teeter.Aaron said Melody should not have sold the shoes and has no experience, he then tried to upsell me foam inserts that just flatten out and traded me for a pair of shoes that squeeze my toes and are narrow vs wide.He told me they need a "break in period" and if that doesn't work to come back.The following week I returned on a day off having blisters and severe foot pain due to two terrible pairs of shoes from this store.I was told the refund would be processed even when she initially messed up.A few weeks later nothing so I called and asked for the owner, and her name is Tricia according to her.She left a voicemail at the end of her day and was very rude. They kept the faulty shoes and inserts so I filed a dispute with my credit card, only to have them reverse it and charge me again but now twice!A lawsuit for false advertising is up next and selling faulty items, theft of money even with a full return of good condition items and terrible attitude.Avoid this place at all costs, terrible experience and my wife is a witness and has several encounters recorded.*"Update**They claim I wore shoes for a week and that's a bold faced LIE! I took them to the local store as Melody told me and walked around for 20-30 minutes INSIDE and I was getting blisters so I cleaned and boxed them to take back.Same with the second pair and I have plenty of proof for a court of law!

Steven Horvitz: I went here on a recommendation and the sales lady convinced me to buy a shoe with guide rails and thicker cushioning. The shoes were on sale and being discontinued. Turns out they were built for a non neutral foot and when I ran it caused a lot of foot pain and then hip pain. I tried to email and no response. I think the sales team needs to know what they are selling. Bought a neutral pair and problems went away. Unfortunately the owner didn’t wait on me.

They had a great selection of Danskos and Brooks which is what brought me to the store. While she does custom orthodics and such, I was never pressured to go that route. I found my go-to store for shoes. Highly recommend and I'm definitely going back.

Her level of knowledge was incredible and she was able to zero in on the needs I had in relation to my plantar fasciitis and selecting some sneakers that would be stylish, lightweight, and very stable for my feet. She made sure I understood how I could continue to rehabilitate my feet at home as well! I will definitely be back!

Nora Maynard: I first came here a few months ago due to the glowing reviews. I have very high arches and struggle with running shoes that have enough support. I was sized and evaluated and given multiple pairs to try on, eventually settling on one and purchasing them.I wore them for months and my arches were very happy, but I regularly had toe pain which was new for me. Today I went back in to inquire why they thought that was happening and to see if they had suggestions on how to address it. I was informed I was wearing shoes too small, much to my surprise since they'd sized me themselves. I was wearing 7.5 and now I left today in an 8.5 wide.One star is knocked off for the original incorrect sizing and months of discomfort, but the other four stars were completely earned today when they resized me and replaced my shoes free of charge. Excellent business practices, especially for maintaining clientele. They acknowledged it was their error and they were happy to correct it. I absolutely recommend shopping here!

Guess they rather lose a sale, than gain a customer when to another rack room and they did it so I purchase $400 worth of shoes. I guess some people can’t think outside the box. And they don’t want customers or need to make sales.

Alex P: The BOGO is becoming a scam. Entire brands are excluded. Used to be only Brooks (maybe one other pair), but now Nike and Sketchers and other brands are excluded. Meanwhile, they're carrying fewer of the other brands. Basically a bait and switch at this point. For men's shoes, I suggest trying shoes on in the store and then order them from Amazon 👍

Robyn H: Don’t go here unless you know exactly what you’re looking for, if you need help and guidance trying to find the right pair of new shoes this is not the place you’ll get it! There were only 2 people working in the store and both stood at an empty checkout. When I asked the girls if one of them could please help me they exchanged looks like neither of them wanted to be bothered. I explained that I had a recent foot injury that hadn’t healed properly and needed to get a pair with as much cushioning as I could get, the only advice she could give was that I should get a pair with memory foam. Do you know how many different types of shoes in this store have memory foam? Pretty much all of them! I walked out with no real help and no new shoes!
